(The den of robbers. In the center, Santa Claus and Snow Maiden are tied to a tree. Robbers sit around and sing their song).

(The robbers laugh.)
Atamansha - Come on, be quiet! Hey, you two, go sharpen your knives. (two robbers leave). And you prepare your axes. (two more robbers leave).
(The Troubadour and his friends are watching all this from hiding. Friends attack the robbers and defeat them. They tie up all the robbers.)
Santa Claus - Well, well, I'll deal with these robbers now.
Atamansha - Forgive us, we will no longer.
Robbers - We won't be anymore.
Atamansha - We just wanted the real holiday.
Robbers - We wanted a real New Year.
Atamansha - We did not want to kill anyone.
