Soldiers and sergeants go swimming in formation under the command of a senior officer.

To monitor order during swimming, prevent accidents on the water and provide medical assistance, an officer or warrant officer on duty, a team of swimmers on duty and a paramedic on duty (medical instructor) are appointed.

During swimming, unit commanders (senior teams) are required to monitor swimmers from the shore.

407. The territory of the landfill (camp) must be kept clean in compliance with fire safety requirements (Appendix 16 to this Charter) and environmental protection. Garbage is collected and transported daily to places agreed upon with the sanitary inspection authorities, located at least 3 km from the boundaries of the brigade (regiment), camp collection at the landfill (in the camp), taking into account the direction of the prevailing winds.

Roads on the territory of the training ground (camp) are equipped with traffic direction indicators, as well as road signal and road signs indicating the permissible speed of combat and other vehicles. For tracked vehicles, travel routes are established that are separate from wheeled vehicles.

408. When placing a military unit in a camp (in tents)
The camp is set up in accordance with the instructions set out in Appendix 15 to this Charter.

To perform internal service in a military unit, an outfit is assigned in accordance with Articles 266-270 of this Charter. 409. Evening verification is carried out upon the command of the duty officer at the military unit (camp assembly) “Proceed with verification.” For evening verification, duty officers and orderlies go out to the line and stand in accordance with Article 416 of this Charter, and units are lined up by company foremen on their front or side lines.

412. At the hour set for the game “Zarya”*, the duty officer at the military unit (camp assembly) gives the command “Attention” and orders to play “Zarya”. The orchestra (signalist-drummer) plays "Dawn".

During the general camp evening roll call at the end of the Zarya game, the orchestra plays the National Anthem, after which the unit (camp assembly) duty officer commands: “At ease. To the tents.” The orchestra performs a march. In the absence of an orchestra, technical means of playing sound recordings are used.

The call to the duty officers on the line is made through the orderlies on the line, who transmit the command “Duty officers, to the line” or “Duty officer of the 1st company, to the line.”

After the "Hang Up" signal until the "Rise" signal, the command to call the duty personnel on the line is not given.

416. When calling the duty officers on the line, they take their places, facing the field:

those on duty in companies (except for the left flank) - on the right flanks of their companies, one step ahead of the next orderly; the duty officer of the left flank company of the battalion is on the left flank;

the duty officer at the military unit (camp assembly) - against the banner bipod three steps ahead of it; his assistant is one step behind the duty officer;

the duty signaller-drummer - behind the assistant duty officer at the military unit (camp assembly) on the line of company duty officers.

417. To meet the persons arriving at the camp specified in Article 414 of this Charter, the duty officer at the military unit (camp assembly) goes to the flank of the unit from where the arrivals are expected; upon the arrival of the indicated persons, he reports to them and accompanies them.

In the case when the arriving commander (chief) is met by the commander of the military unit (chief of the camp assembly) and reports to him, the duty officer at the military unit (camp assembly) only introduces himself.
