About the game: DuckTales 2 is a continuation of the popular Dandy game based on the Disney cartoon of the same name.

The background of the game begins with the fact that Billy's nephew informs Uncle Scrooge McDuck that he found a piece of an ancient map in the attic, the inscription on which reads "The ancient treasure of the McDucks." Having studied everything connected with this piece, Scrooge learns about the legend according to which his great-great-great-grandfather hid the treasure, and divided the map by which this treasure can be found into several pieces. Pieces of the map were hidden in different parts of the world. Scrooge decides to find all the pieces of the map, but his nephews inform him that Flintheart Glomgold is also hunting for this map. Our hero needs to visit five places around the world to find all the pieces of the map. But after Scrooge finds all the parts of the mysterious treasure map and, it would seem, it remains only to find the place where the treasures are hidden, Scrooge finds out the bad news. Glomgold has kidnapped his only beloved niece Ponochka and keeps her on his ship. As a ransom, Glomgold demands that Scrooge give him all the treasures found. Scrooge brings them without a moment's hesitation, but Glomgold orders the D-1000 to attack him. Scrooge wins the fight, but Glomgold's damaged ship sinks.
