Emotional Freedom Video Technique. Tapping technique: get rid of stress and other negativity in five minutes

Emotional Freedom Technique is a method of working with our energy body. Each person has an "energy body" in which energy flows move. Energy can move towards us, away from us and through us.

Introduction

The main task of the EFT technique is for the energy in our body to move freely, i.e. in us, from us and through us.

Emotion is an indicator of the state of our energy body. There are negative, negative emotions that bring our energy body into disharmony. The more negativity or stress a person experiences, the more "emotional blocks" are collected in his energy body.

The EFT technique helps to work out the emotional body, helps to launch energy through the body so that it moves freely in three directions: in us, away from us and through us. This technique helps us to get rid of that emotional rubbish, clamps and experiences that we have accumulated from any situations.

The essence of the practice: we, pronouncing a certain text, knock on the points (see the figure below). We always start and finish the practice by placing both palms on the heart, making 3 calm breaths.

Key Points

We begin the execution of the technique from the top of the head:

  • The crown of the head is the top point of the head. Lightly tap with two or three fingers at a pace.
  • The center of the forehead, or the point of the third eye.
  • Eyebrow - touch the beginning of the eyebrow and feel the bone. We will tap on it.
  • Corner of the eye. This is not a temple - you don’t need to knock on it!
  • Under the eye - feel for the bone - we will tap on it.
  • Under the nose.
  • Chin where the dimple is.
  • Collarbone. How to determine this point? Where your neck ends, there is a dimple, go down from it 1.5-2 cm lower - this is the point of the collarbone. The second way to determine the location of the point: you have bones to the left and right of the shoulders, run your fingers along them, and at the point where the fingers meet, this will be the clavicle point.
  • Fingers. Usually we complete the tapping with them. Do not tap on the nail, tap on the skin from the side (see picture above). We start tapping with the thumb, then the index, middle, ring and little fingers.
  • Palm edge (karate point). On it we finish tapping.

Practice

Define a problem for yourself to work on. For example, ask yourself the question: What specifically makes you feel guilty about a situation?

  • We close our eyes. Breathe in calmly, exhale calmly. Repeat 3 times. Think back to the situation you chose. Think about your guilt.
  • Take 1 more calm breath in and out. Rate your state of guilt in this situation from "-10 to +10" (minus 10 is a negative state, plus 10 is a positive state).
  • We begin with a light tapping of the fingers on the top of the head. Calm breath in and out. We knock and say the words: "I feel this guilt."
  • Center of forehead: "I feel terrible." Inhale-exhale.
  • Eyebrow (beginning of eyebrow growth, along the bone): "I feel guilty." Inhale-exhale.
  • Corner of the eye, on the bone: "I'm to blame." If there are any emotions, just allow them to be. We continue to breathe deeply.
  • Under the eye on the bone: "This guilt haunts me again and again." Inhale-exhale.
  • Under the nose: "This feeling of pain that cuts me from the inside." Inhale-exhale.
  • Chin (in the hole): "This feeling gets in my way, it keeps me from moving forward." Inhale-exhale.
  • Clavicle: “This guilt hurts me. She makes me weak." Inhale-exhale.

On the second round(do not forget to take a calm breath in and out after each point):

  • Top of the head: "This feeling forces me to make a choice."
  • Center of forehead: "Forcing me to make choices over and over again."
  • The beginning of the eyebrow on the bone: "This feeling forces me to make those decisions that I do not need."
  • Corner of the eye: "This guilt makes me do things that are not good for me."
  • Under the eye on the bone: "Stupefying guilt."
  • Under the nose: "Guilt stabbing me from the inside."
  • Chin: "This feeling cuts me from the inside."
  • Clavicle: "This guilt causes me a lot of pain."

Third round:

  • Crown: "And she comes back again and again."
  • Center of forehead: "It's a feeling of deep guilt."
  • The beginning of the eyebrow at the bone: "And I feel guilty."
  • Corner of the eye on the bone: "And it's so unpleasant for me to feel that I'm to blame."
  • Under the eye on the bone: “I don’t have the strength to drag this feeling inside me.”
  • Under the nose: "I'm tired, I have no strength."
  • Chin: "This feeling makes me feel really bad about myself."
  • Clavicle: "And I can't take the feeling anymore."

Fourth round:

  • Top of the head: "I treat myself badly over and over again."
  • Center of forehead: "But I can't take it anymore."
  • The beginning of the eyebrow: "It's guilt."
  • Corner of the eye: "It's a heavy feeling of guilt."
  • Under the eye: "This heavy load of guilt."
  • Under the nose: "And I'm terribly guilty."
  • Chin: "It's my fault."
  • Clavicle: "I'm terribly guilty."

Fifth round:

  • Top: "I really want to ..."
  • Center of forehead: "... let go of this load."
  • The beginning of the eyebrow: "I want to take a deep breath ..."
  • Corner of the eye "... and let go of this weight of guilt right now."
  • Under the eye: "I want to take a step forward."
  • Under the nose: "I want to let go of this heavy guilt."
  • Chin "There is no need to carry such a load with you anymore."
  • Clavicle: "This is not the load I need."
  • Thumb: “I understand and realize right now that I have carried this feeling inside me for too long.”
  • Index finger: "I'm tired of carrying this load."
  • Middle finger: "And I'm exhaling this nasty feeling of guilt right now."
  • Ring finger: "I love letting go of that feeling right now."
  • Littlefinger: "I'm letting go of that guilt."
  • Inhale-exhale: "I release myself from this guilt."
  • Karate point (edge of the palm): "I feel freedom."
  • Inhale-exhale: "I feel lightness."
  • Inhale-exhale: "I feel that I am ready to choose, love and respect myself right now, today and tomorrow, and in the future."
  • Inhale-exhale: “I feel capable and ready to live my life to the fullest, richest and brightest. And in this life there is no place for guilt.
  • Inhale-exhale: "I'm free."
  • We put our palms on the heart area. We breathe calmly. We observe the sensations in the body, what happens to the body. What new sensations, thoughts, pictures in my head.
  • Rate your condition now from "-10 to +10".

At the end of the practice, energy begins to flow freely through your body. It’s normal when you yawn, something tingles, you want to move, it gets hot.

Conclusion: repeat the practice for now on your problem until you reach a positive feeling from "+8 to +10". This means that you are emotionally free from the problem, it does not take away your strength, your energy flows freely. Your life will begin to change dramatically.

Today I want to introduce you to an incredible efficient technique, which will allow you to cope with many problems on your own: you will learn how to relieve stress, emotional tension, physical pain, get rid of difficult experiences, limiting beliefs, negative subconscious attitudes that hinder your development and growth, and so on.

I can note that the effect of this technique is especially noticeable in moments of acute outbreaks of negative emotions (irritation, anger, rage, resentment, pain, anxiety ... etc.). Right in the process of doing it, you will feel significant relief! In addition, I noted another interesting "phenomenon". Very often you can make discoveries that are completely unexpected for yourself and understand that the reason for an emotional response to a particular situation is not at all in it. In general, it is very interesting and very effective. Checked on myself more than once!

I present to you EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique , or the Emotional Release Technique. Emotional Freedom Technique, EFT) is one of the meridian techniques based on the principles of traditional Eastern medicine (acupressure) and Western psychology. EFT was created by American engineer Gary Craig in the 90s, based on Dr. Roger Callahan's technique, Thought Field Therapy.

My acquaintance with this amazing technique happened in the process of reading Joe Vitale's book "The Key". For those who haven't read it, I highly recommend it. In it, the author opens one of the main secrets of achieving the desired and shares various techniques for releasing fears, blocks, negative attitudes, and so on. Surely many of you know some techniques for attracting anything into your life, but few people realize that this medal has back side. Before you get something, you need to make room for this and free yourself from subconscious negative attitudes in this regard. This is in short. More details in other articles… Later. Let's go back to TES.

The basis of the Emotional Freedom Technique is the following statement: "The cause of all negative emotions is a violation of the normal functioning of the body's energy system." And the very principle of TES is based on ancient Chinese medicine, which uses energy channels in the human body, called meridians.

During TES therapy and the person concentrates on the problem, then by influencing the meridians (about tapping with fingers on certain points on the face and body) eliminates violations in energy system for this particular issue. After the session, only the experience itself remains, and emotional charge and the pain that accompanied it disappears.

It is believed that this technique can help in 80% of cases right away. . The remaining 20% require more hard work . For example, phobias go away within a minute. Myself the author of the technique, Gary Craig, advises using it on everything that is possible. After all TPP is quite simple in terms of technical performance . Even children can learn how to use it in just a few minutes.

Joe Vitale in his famous bestseller"Key" says the following about TPP:

"Negative emotions that limit us and prevent us from attracting what we consciously want into our lives are caused by a violation of the body's energy system. By pressing on key points, we balance the energy and clear the blocks. Plus, it's the easiest stress reliever I've ever come across.

The possibilities of the universe are endless - you deserve to have everything you want. The degree of your dissatisfaction with the lack of something in your life is determined by the degree of your resistance to your desires. Most often, we do not let abundance into our lives, either out of fear that it is not safe for us, or because of the belief that we do not deserve it, or for both reasons at once.

The Emotional Freedom Technique will allow you to let go of your limiting beliefs and allow you to attract whatever you want into your life.

A TES therapy session consists of several parts:

1. Identification of the problem itself with which you will work. Describe her. What is this situation? For example, “I have a headache,” “I was upset by a quarrel with my spouse, he doesn’t understand me,” “the boss is annoying,” “I don’t believe that I can achieve my goal,” and so on.

2. Evaluation of the degree of your experiences on a 10-point scale. Just determine how strong your feelings about the current situation are at the moment. How much this situation touches you.

3. Set up for a session. It consists in the fact that you repeat a certain phrase three times in a row and at the same time lightly tap the “karate point” on the other hand with the fingertips of one hand (this is the point on the edge of your palm that is struck in karate, see the figure on the right). The phrase that you repeat at the same time sounds like this: "Even though _________, I deeply and completely accept myself." Instead of a space, you voice your problem. For example, "Even though "I have deep depression", I deeply and completely accept myself." Thus, the setting for the session occurs.

4. Tapping - tapping with your fingertips on meridian points. This is done about 7 times, but, in fact, you start from your inner feelings. Over time, you will feel when you need to move to the next point. By tapping on the dots, you repeat the essence of the problem (preferably out loud). You can quarrel at the same time, you can get angry if the situation annoys you a lot. For example, "I have a headache again" - go to the next point: "I have a headache again", the next point: "this headache just got me", the next point: "why does it hurt all the time, it's just impossible" ... and so on. To better understand the essence, watch the videos that are at the end of the article. They are very helpful.

Tap all the time on one side of the face and body. Which one doesn't matter.

Consider the points and the sequence of impact on them.

There are several versions of this technique, several schools. They are equally effective, so you can safely use any of them. A full session includes sequential tapping of the following points:

1. NB= Beginning Eyebrow

2. KG= Edge of the Eye
3. PG= Under Eye
4. PN = Under the nose
5. PB = Chin
6. CL = Beginning of Clavicle
7. RH = Handy
8. BP = Thumb
9. UP \u003d Index Finger
10.SP= Middle finger
11. MZ = Little finger
12. TK = Karate Point
-. TC = Ligament Point (not numbered in the figure, but shown on the back of the hand 1.27 cm below the middle of the segment between the bones of the ring finger and little finger).

A detailed description of the location of each point can be found in the TPP manual on pages 31-32. The manual can be downloaded from . Note that the points are tapped (stimulated) in order from top to bottom. That is, each subsequent point is lower than the previous one. It will be easy to remember. Walk through these points several times and they are yours forever.

5. Working out the connection point. While tapping on the Link Point, the following set of actions is performed (it is not necessary to repeat the problem at this time)

Close eyes
. Open eyes
. Move your eyes as far to the right as possible
. Move your eyes as far to the left as possible
. Make a full circle with the eyes in one direction
. Make a full circle with the eyes in the opposite direction
. "Hum" any melody for a couple of seconds
. count to 5
. Again, "hum" any melody for a couple of seconds

6. Then repeat the tapping procedure(tapping with the fingertips on the appropriate points) as described in point 4. Together this is called a "ham sandwich" - two tapping procedures are a type of roll, and tapping a ligament point and doing actions is a type of ham in between. This thing is one "round" or "cycle" of TPP. The entire session of TES consists of these cycles.

7. Take a deep breath and exhale, and evaluate the problem again on a 10-point scale. It may not decrease (rarely) or decrease by 1-2 units, or disappear altogether (it happens). If it didn’t disappear, but decreased (intensity decreased), then continue again the whole procedure from point 3, while in the setup (during setup) we say the following: “Even though I still feel a headache, I deeply and completely I accept myself" or "Even though I still have this problem, I deeply and completely accept myself." That is, now you are already working with the remnants of the problem situation.

8. Again evaluate the condition on a subjective scale. Everybody is here time is running score compared to the original state. If there are some emotional tails left, some imperfections, something has not been cured, i.e. the state score is non-zero, then it is necessary to repeat the whole cycle, i.e. "sandwich" until there is zero. It is important! It is always necessary to bring the problem to a complete resolution, i.e. down to zero. If you have a fear of rats, then complete zero there will be an opportunity to pick up a rat and not experience any unpleasant emotions. All this is quite realistically achieved in 10-15 minutes of work on the technique of emotional freedom, by the way.

This is what the whole session of TES therapy consists of. . It can really be learned in literally 5-10 minutes, you just need to remember the sequence of actions. And for this it is very useful to watch a few videos where the session is being held. This is interesting. As a rule, the session is accompanied by a specialist and it is possible to evaluate what kind of questions he or she asks, how he leads the person to the necessary understanding, and so on.

I would like to add on my own that I have never used a full session, because when I got acquainted with this technique, I had an abbreviated version. It included only points on the face and body, as well as a point on the top of the head. In addition, there was no insertion with a link point. But despite this, the results that I got, stunned me!! With the help of this technique, I easily coped with the strongest negative emotions! It really works and works very well!

Let me remind you that Download Manual for TPP or Feasibility Study (EFT) you can by going to .

High workload, the need to make decisions quickly and compete with more successful people quite capable of leading to various disorders. That is why, like mushrooms after rain, the number of options for getting rid of accumulated stress is growing. Some are developed by mainstream science, while others, like the Emotional Freedom Technique, come from Eastern practices. I am glad that it is not as complex and philosophical, it will take only a few minutes to improve your condition.

Emotional Freedom Technique - Description and Criticism

The creation of this method was carried out by Gary Craig, taking as a basis the approach of Dr. Callahan, outlined in his work "Therapy of thought fields". The result was a technique that absorbed the traditions of Eastern healing and European psychotherapy. The creator claims that the emotional freedom technique is effective for neurosis, obsessive thoughts, addictions, insomnia, and other disorders. The method is often referred to as acupuncture without needles due to the need to target specific acupressure points. And during a kind of massage, you will have to focus on your problems.

The author claims that the technique is able to give almost instantaneous results with ease of implementation. But not everyone agrees with him, some scientists even called the approach pseudoscientific. This is based on the fact that so far they have not been able to prove the presence of acupuncture points, and several are used in technology, and oriental medicine claims that there are a great many of them on the body. After such doubts, a placebo test was carried out, which did not reveal any special properties that distinguish the approach from other psychotechniques. Skeptics even believe that it simply diverts attention from the existing problem, creating the appearance of its disappearance.

Supporters of the method say that it works regardless of faith in Eastern medicine and allows you to work through the accumulated problems on your own.

Emotional Freedom Technique - Practice

As mentioned above, during the session, you will have to act on certain points that will help normalize the energy balance in the body. 12 points are processed in the following sequence.

  1. Eyebrow start.
  2. Edge of the eye (near its outer corner).
  3. Below the eye (central zone).
  4. Under the nose (center).
  5. Chin (middle).
  6. Beginning of the clavicle.
  7. Under the arm (beginning of the armpit in line with the nipples).
  8. Thumb (first phalanx).
  9. Forefinger.
  10. Middle finger.
  11. Little finger.
  12. Karate point (the area of the palm between the ring finger and the little finger, 1.27 cm below the upper limit).

Each of these points is worked out with light tapping (tapping). It all starts from the point of the karateka and ends with it, during this period you need to forget about the problem. Only when this zone is affected, the following actions are performed:

  • close and open your eyes;
  • move them down and to the right, then down and to the left;
  • make a circle with your eyes in one direction, then in the other;
  • “purr” any melody for a few seconds;
  • count to 5 and drink something again.

Such a ritual helps to tune in to work, and then get out of a state of deep concentration.

To use the emotional freedom technique for sleep disorders, severe shocks and other problems, several stages are provided.

  1. Determine what you will be working with.
  2. Please rate your feelings on a 10-point scale.
  3. As you tap the karate point, say three times, "Despite (description of the problem), I fully and deeply accept myself."
  4. Start tapping starting from the karate point in the manner described above. The remaining points need to be tapped an average of 7 times, but it is better to focus on your own feelings. It is advisable to say out loud the essence of the trouble during this, you can even quarrel a little.
  5. Then take a deep breath and exhale, and once again rate the problem on a 10-point scale. Usually there is a decrease in anxiety by 1-2 points, rarely there is a sharp drop or complete disappearance. If the problem persists, continue from point 3, achieving its complete disappearance.

Those who use the practice claim that in 10-15 minutes you can get rid of even a serious phobia. But if you do not notice improvement even after several sessions on any problem, then you should think about a visit to a specialist.

Throughout the day, we experience many emotions - from positive to negative. We express positive emotions immediately: laughter, delight, pleasure, joy. But with a splash of negative emotions it is much harder - it's not decent !!! You can’t really yell at the boss and it’s hard to get angry at a late bus ... and there are a lot of events from the past that you want to forget about, but it doesn’t work out. So anger, anger, envy, longing, insecurity and self-pity accumulate in us for years.

2. Understanding: how we accumulate emotions

An emotional reaction and experience leaves not just an emotional trace in the human body, but also an internal block. Emotion is an energy that is stuck in our physical body and is waiting to be discharged. Waiting for a similar situation to activate and splash out. They accumulate throughout life and as a result people react not to the objective situation in which they find themselves, but to similar situations that strained them in the past. What kind of freedom from emotions can we talk about in this case?

Not only do we react inadequately, we also make inadequate decisions in accordance with this reaction, and then we wonder why everything in our life does not turn out the way we would like, why we behaved strangely in a particular situation, why we kept silent, where it was necessary to answer Why didn't you rest when you felt overtired? We are constantly putting everything off, not finishing it, keeping silent, because it’s easier this way - every time life puts us in front of the need to take a step, we put it off. It turns out that emotional freedom requires us to be as conscious and collected as possible, not giving a chance to give up.

The biggest barrier to emotional freedom is society. In society, a person is beginning to be taught that he owes everyone. The child should behave well, study well, obey the elders. At an older age, we owe our parents, our children, our bosses, the traffic police, we owe almost everyone. Yes, the tax office, of course, we must too. Moreover, we owe so much that there is no way to give everything that we owe. Therefore, a sense of duty is a negative emotion, since a feeling of guilt arises for the part that you did not give up.

Therefore, in order to begin to feel and notice your emotions in the physical body and stop supporting them, it is necessary to clear the body of all tension blocks that clip the wings of our emotional freedom.

3. Feeling: how emotions are reflected in our body in the form of tension

If we pay attention to our body at the time when we experience a strong emotion, we will notice that some muscle group is contracting at this moment. But whether these muscles have completely relaxed is already difficult to track.
Stuck tension in the organs, muscles, bones and fascia begins to destroy our energy.

On the etheric field, it blocks energy along the meridians, organs and muscles suffer, which cease to receive enough energy nutrition.

They begin to work weaker, blood flow and nerve fibers are pinched in the muscles, and patency is impaired. This is where diseases come from.
The more sensitive you become, the sooner you begin to notice how, for example, your head starts to hurt from anger and you gradually become "not tasty" to unwind and maintain such an emotional state.

4. Emotional Freedom Techniques: How to release already accumulated emotions and start letting go?

You can talk on this topic for as long as you like, or you can just take it and try to cleanse yourself of unnecessary emotions. The result will be peace and tranquility. Calmness - this is real strength - do not confuse it with indifference! The world will not become dimmer, joy will not dull. It just stops throwing you from side to side. The energy that was previously absorbed by your unbridled emotions will remain with you. And energy is power. Now you control this force, and not something. Use it for yourself, to achieve your goals!

Do you think that you need to find special methods for feeling emotional freedom?
Do you feel like something is stopping you from doing it? Can't guess what? Well, of course, they are emotions. They, too, can be understood - they are fighting for self-preservation. They have long been friends with our ego. Be prepared for the ego to resist change. Even if it's in better side. The ego is against any change in our lives.

You can talk, or you can do. Life is a doing, a movement, not a talking shop. Life is the application, the use of the energy that is given to us, and not to emotions. And if we ourselves do not use it, then someone else will definitely use it, because energy is power and strength.

The most basic technique for releasing and expressing repressed emotions is

Dynamic Meditation

Basic daily technique, 5 stages - the second stage of 10 minutes of catharsis.
We do it every morning

"Beyond Emotions" group

Meditation group based on catharsis with an angel,
which will allow you to completely let yourself go

Social meditation Aum marathon - in 2.5 hours we live 12 different emotional states

“I don’t know what you are missing, but you definitely don’t have enough energy, you don’t have enough drive. You do everything right in life, you reasonable people, and still something is missing ... And all life is busy with survival - work - rest, rest - work ...

We would like to change something in our life... Although life really just reflects who we are. And what can we do to change this? Just do something with yourself, change something inside yourself ... and maybe then the reflection of the reality that is inside of us will also change ...

In the AUM meditation marathon we do something to prepare ourselves for life - life is not here - life is there! And here, in general, the same thing will happen that happens in ordinary life- love, hate, anger - all the same emotions"
Swami Kayoum
AUM consists of 12 stages and lasts about 2.5 hours. This is social meditation, i.e. it involves interacting with others through acceptance, support, and empathy. And each person here is like a mirror, gives you the opportunity to take a closer look at yourself from the outside.

More about Aum Marathon

One day medicine will wake up and realize that unresolved emotional problems are the main cause of 85% of all diseases. When that happens, EFT will become one of the primary means of healing, just as it is for me. Eric Robins. M.D.

Good afternoon friends!

It is probably not a secret for anyone that all the emotions that we experience throughout life accumulate in our physical body. Thus, happiness, joy and positive emotions have the ability to have a beneficial effect on our health and well-being. While, negative emotions and stress fetter our body, over time provoking various diseases and lack of energy in a person.

The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a psychosomatic way to get rid of emotional and physical illnesses, the so-called “needle-free acupuncture”. TES was created to free us from pain and such very unpleasant negative emotional states as fear and severe anxiety.

The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is one of the meridian techniques based on the principles of traditional Eastern medicine (acupuncture) and Western psychology. EFT was created by American engineer Gary Craig in the 90s, based on Dr. Roger Callahan's technique, Thought Field Therapy.

The Emotional Freedom Technique combines stimulation of specific acupressure points with simple psychological tricks- affirmations ( positive statements) and accepting oneself as a whole person, thereby painlessly achieves positive changes in thinking, in emotional and mental mood. The mental affects the physical, and the physical affects the mental health.

The Emotional Freedom Technique works with the body and our negative emotions, as well as phobias and neuroses. Where it is very difficult for a person to cope on his own, but even with working with a psychotherapist it takes long time. TES accelerates the healing process at times. It should be applied until you feel improvement (from 1-10 sessions for one problem or one negative situation).

Features of the Emotional Freedom Technique that distinguish it from other methods:

  • TPP can be studied in a short time;
  • EFT does not need to be “believed” in order for it to work - it helps both skeptics and children;
  • A TES session can be held at any time, in any place convenient for you - at home, in the office, in a cafe, in a park, subway, on the street;
  • TES - has no contraindications and does not cause unpleasant side effects;
  • TES is quite effective even with complex and long-term problems, for example: addiction to alcohol and drugs, post-traumatic syndromes, various neuroses, phobias, depression, chronic negative thinking, to relieve pain, eliminate anger, resentment, anxiety, fear, various allergies, normalize blood pressure, childhood problems, overweight, panic attacks or VSD, etc.

The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) consists of 4 step-by-step actions:

1. Installation.

2. Consistency.

3. A bunch of 9 actions.

4. Consistency.

No. 1. Installation

Each procedure must begin with the formulation of the problem on which you want to work. Try to be as specific and concise as possible about what is bothering you. Then rate how much it bothers you right now on a scale of 0 to 10, where 10 is the most intense and 0 is no problem. This will give you a benchmark for measuring improvements.

You should evaluate the intensity as you now have it according to your subjective feelings, and not as you think it will be in this situation. Remember, EFT balances the disturbances in your energy system that are in place right now while you are attuned to a particular thought or circumstance.

If your emotional problem has multiple facets, you may not see any improvement until you apply the technique to each of those facets. This becomes absolutely clear when comparing an emotional problem and physical ailments. If, for example, your head, teeth, and stomach hurt at the same time, you will not feel healthy until all these pains have passed. It may seem that there are some changes, but despite this, you are still in pain.

The installation consists of two parts:

1. You repeat the statement 3 times: “Even though… (state your problem)… I deeply and completely accept myself” or “Even though I have _______________, I deeply and completely accept myself.” The second part of the phrase can be slightly changed, for example, to the phrase "everything is fine with me, everything is fine with me." Or some other very positive phrase. But if you are satisfied with the first option, then you can only pronounce it.

2. At this time, you are rubbing the "Sensitive Zone" or pressing on the "Karate Point" instead.

Statement Examples:

  • Although I have a fear of public speaking, I deeply and completely accept myself.
  • Even though I have a headache, I deeply and completely accept myself.
  • Although I am angry at my father, I deeply and completely accept myself.
  • Even though I have a passion for alcohol, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Whether you believe this statement or not, just say it.

There are only two "Sensitive Zones", and it doesn't matter which one you use. They are located in the upper part of the chest on the right and left, they can be found as follows: At the base of the neck, approximately where the Men tie the knot of the tie, feel for the U-shaped fossa at the top of the sternum (breast bone). From the upper edge of this hole on the right (or left), go down in the direction of the navel 6.5 cm, and then shift 6.5 cm to the right (or left). Now your fingers are in the upper right (left) part of the chest. If you press lightly on this area (within a radius of 4.5 cm), you will find the "Sensitive Zone".

This is the area that you need to massage while saying the affirmation. You can massage both sides, it is equally effective.

The Karate Point (TK) is located in the center of the outer side of the palm between the upper part of the hand and the base of the little finger or, in another way. In the part of the palm with which you would perform a chopping blow in karate. Instead of massaging, as is done with the "Sensitive Zone", you need to lightly tap the Karate Point with the pads of the index and middle fingers of the other hand. You can use the Karate Point on either hand.

No. 2. Subsequence

Basically, the Sequence is very simple. It consists in tapping on the end points of the main energy meridians. Tap on the dot with the pads of your index and middle fingers. This allows you to cover a slightly larger area than if you were to do it with one finger, and thus it will be easier for you to hit the point. Knock hard enough, but not to the point of pain and bruising. Tap about 7 times on each point.

How to find these meridian endpoints taken together and stimulated in the order shown.

1. At the beginning of the eyebrow on one side above the bridge of the nose. This is the point Above the Eyebrow, abbreviated NB.

2. On the border of the bones of the outer edge of the eye. This is the Edge of the Eye point, abbreviated as KG.

3. On the bone under the eye, about 2 cm below the pupil. This is the point Under the Eye, abbreviated as PG.

4. On a small area between the tip of the nose and the upper lip. This is the point Under the Nose, abbreviated as PN.

5. In the middle between the edge of the lower lip and the chin. Although this point is not located directly on the chin itself, we will call it for convenience the chin, abbreviated PB.

6. Connection of the sternum (sternum), collarbone and first rib. To find this point, place your index finger in the U-shaped notch at the top of the sternum (where a man's tie usually is), move 2 cm from the bottom of this notch down to the navel, and then 2 cm to the left (or right) . This is the Clavicle point, abbreviated as CL, although it is not located on the collarbone itself. It is located at the beginning of the collarbone, and we will call it the Clavicle, because it is more convenient than saying "the connection of the sternum (sternum), collarbone and first rib."

7. On the side at a point at the level of the nipple (for men) or in the middle of the bra strip (for women). Approximately 9 cm down from the armpit. This is the point Under the Hand, abbreviated as PR.

8. In men, this point is 2 cm down from the nipple. In women, this point is located under the breast, at the junction with the chest. This is the point Under the Nipple (in the picture the Point of the liver), abbreviated as PS.

9. On the outer side of the thumb at the base of the nail. This is the point of the Thumb, abbreviated as BP.

10. On the side of the index finger on the side that is closer to the thumb, at the base of the nail. This is the point index finger, abbreviated UP.

11. On the side of the middle finger on the side that is closer to the thumb, at the base of the nail. This is the point of the Middle Finger, abbreviated as SP.

12. On the inside of the little finger at the base of the nail. This is the Little Finger Point, MZ for short.

13. The last point is the Karate Point, TK for short, which was described above in the Setup section.

Note that the points are stimulated in order from top to bottom. That is, each subsequent point is lower than the previous one. It will be easy to remember. Walk through these points several times and they are yours forever.

No. 3. Bundle of 9 actions

A bunch of 9 actions, this is probably the strangest part of EFT. Her goal is fine tuning brain, and it all happens through eye movement, mumbling, and counting. Some parts of the brain are stimulated during eye movement through nerve connections. In the same way, the right (creative) hemisphere of the brain turns on when you mumble a song, and the left (rational) hemisphere turns on when you count.

A bundle of 9 actions - takes 10 seconds and consists in performing 9 “brain-stimulating” actions while constantly pressing one of the energy points of the body - the Link Point. It is located on the back of each of the palms 1.27 cm below the middle of the segment between the bones of the ring finger and little finger. This segment is a side of an imaginary equilateral triangle, the other two sides of which connect it to the Link Point, the vertex of this triangle.

Then you need to perform 9 actions simultaneously with constant tapping on this point. These actions are:

1. Close your eyes

2. Open your eyes

3. Move your eyes to the right down as much as possible without turning your head

4. Move your eyes to the left down as much as possible without turning your head

5. Make a circle with your eyes as if your nose is the center of the clock and you need to try to see all the numbers on the dial in order

6. Same as No. 5, but in the other direction

7. Sing a song for 2 seconds (suggested "Happy Birthday")

9. Sing the song for 2 seconds again.

Please note that these steps are presented in certain order, that's how they should be done.

No. 4. Sequence (again)

fourth and last step The Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) has already been described above in step #2. This is exactly the same passage of the Sequence.

Evaluation of results

At the end of the session, take three deep breaths and exhale. Then try again to "see" and feel the situation or problem that you just worked with. Listen to your sensations, feelings or emotions, as they are now - after working through EFT. Then again make the assessment already familiar to you (just like you did at the Installation stage) - 0 to 10.

Evaluate in comparison with the one you had before using the technique. The difference between the two estimates can be used to preliminarily estimate the progress towards the goal. This technique is unique in that it helps many people after the first session. But it may well turn out that, according to subjective sensations, there are no changes. Sometimes, most often with strong or difficult situations, you need to do the technique several times in a row or do it for several (sometimes many) days. The result will be. It is already there after the first application, you just don’t feel it yet.

Most problems are easy to identify and easy to resolve. But if suddenly you have to meet with one of difficult problems, then divide it into separate events and apply EFT to each of them, and you will feel the results immediately.

To make it clearer what the meaning of TES is and how to perform this technique correctly, I suggest you watch these videos.

If you liked the practical videos with Brad Yates aimed at solving a specific problem, then I recommend that you subscribe to the channel on youtube Brad Yates - EFT in Russian. There you will find videos with TES sessions for all occasions.

I started doing this technique quite recently, but I really like the feeling after the EFT session. Confidence, calmness and a positive attitude. I hope that you, too, will find EFT useful for you, that it will allow you to get rid of pain, negative attitudes, fears and make your life better.

With sincere sympathy, Olesya.

To describe the practical part of the EFT, I used the manual at the link http://navigatorway.com/books/eft.pdf.
