Juicy zucchini seems to be asking to be filled with meat filling with herbs and vegetables, mushrooms, and other combinations of products that are on hand at the moment. And a few minutes before they are ready, be sure to sprinkle them with piquant cheese so that an appetizing and golden-brown crust appears on the surface.

Zucchini is very beneficial for the body, and is universal in preparation, as it can be combined with most other products. For the filling, you can use not only minced meat, but also its combination with cereals, vegetables, and mushrooms. Fish and seafood, a mixture of cheese and vegetables are also used. And you can enjoy the dish not only hot, it is no less tasty cold. For serving, you can use sauces based on sour cream, tomato paste, and homemade mayonnaise.

How to cook stuffed zucchini

In order to stuff zucchini, not all fruits are suitable - they must be undamaged, preferably young, not overripe, with thin skin. Before cooking, they are thoroughly washed, cut lengthwise to make “boats”, and crosswise to make “cups”. Use a spoon to carefully remove the pulp, leaving a little on the sides and at the bottom - since the vegetable is very soft, if you cut off all the pulp it may simply fall apart during baking.

There is also a quick “alternative” option for preparing zucchini with minced meat - when the vegetable is cut into thick circles, onto which the filling is then laid out, and everything is sprinkled with cheese with the addition of herbs and spices.

The temperature for baking zucchini in the oven should not be very high - 160-180C will be enough. If only vegetables, seafood or pre-cooked meat are used for cooking, then 20 minutes will be enough for cooking.

But if you use raw meat filling, then you should bake the vegetable in the oven for at least 45 minutes, preferably an hour. To make them brown quickly, it will be enough to increase the oven temperature to 200C and leave the vegetables for 7-10 minutes, keeping a close eye on them.

Zucchini is often cooked on the stove, fried in oil, with the addition of garlic and cheese, mayonnaise, or baked, after adding a delicious filling. Each recipe, with the main ingredient in the dish, has its own “zest”, delicious aroma and taste. We bring to your attention the simplest and most delicious recipes for cooking.

Now, when the bushes are filled with young zucchini, it’s time to treat yourself to something delicious! You can fry them, make a saute or stew. Or you can bake delicious stuffed zucchini.

I always cook this dish with already thermally processed minced meat. After all, this dish tastes better when the zucchini is a little al dente. That is, it is well baked, but crunches a little. This snack holds its shape better and does not fall apart before transferring.

My family loves this dish very much, so since the summer I have been freezing zucchini circles and halves. So that in winter you can get it, stuff it and cook it. Even if you didn’t have time to think about it in the summer, supermarkets sell vegetables in the winter. In short, lovers of this wonderful snack will always find a solution.

Bon appetit!
