What styles did not instill in the group Panic! At the Disco, namely pop punk, pop rock and indie rock, and moreover baroque pop. The kids don't like being cut into pieces. Leaving to record albums Panic! At the Disc has always stated that the next album will be different from the previous one.

Many songs were inspired by the music of our parents, the Beach Boys, the Kinks, the Beatles. Currently, the group's work embodies more classic rock. The group has become older and more selective. The team is not afraid to write about love and happiness, they write for ordinary people, American hard workers, such as the guys themselves. Panic! concert tickets.

On June 1 in St. Petersburg, and on June 2 in Moscow, the musicians will present their new album Death of a Bachelor. The band's frontman, Brendon Urie, told the site about his love for cover versions, childhood dreams, and why you really need to go to their concert.

- Tell us what will happen at the concert in Moscow? Are you preparing some surprise for your fans?

– I am very excited about the opportunity to perform again in Moscow. Coming here every time is a great honor for me. We will bring a real show! There will be acrobatic stunts, somersaults, dancers and more.

– This is not your first visit to Moscow.

- Yes. I remember when we first came here: we were very young - I was 19 or 20. But even now that I'm older, coming to Russia still feels like some kind of real adventure. It's always a lot of fun. We will give two concerts - in Moscow and in St. Petersburg. It is a very beautiful city with great architecture. When we were in St. Petersburg last time, there was some kind of holiday, I think it was the Independence Day of Russia. I didn't even know there was such a holiday in Russia! And the day before we were in Moscow and for the first time we went here to some bar. The first man sitting next to me at the bar said, "Drink with me in honor of Independence Day!" It was so unusual, but at the same time somehow very friendly, cordial.

- You will come to Russia with a new album. Tell about it.

- The new album is especially dear to me, because I put a lot of effort into creating music, lyrics, recording, and managing the process. And it was a lot of fun! I jumped around the drums, played the guitar, jumping from instrument to instrument. All the musicians I've worked with are great guys and great professionals. You've done a tremendous amount of work together, and it's given me a big advantage. It was difficult, but I was very pleased with the result.

– I saw your performance on Jimmy Kimmel live called Panic! At The Sisqo (with R'n'B singer Sisqo - Ed.). It turned out great! How was the idea of such a collaboration born?

We joked about this a few years ago. When the guys from the Jimmy Kimmel team contacted us and asked if we would like to perform on the show, I agreed: he is a great host and I like his program. But when they mentioned Sisqo, I said, "YES! of course!" He is one of the most professional musicians I have ever met: he good artist, dancer and wonderful singer. I would be happy to work with him again in the future.

– But in fact, your duet could not be called predictable. It was hard to imagine - you are very different. Why exactly?

- Jimmy Kimmel is known for his mashups - such as Fall Out Boyz II Men (a joint performance of the Fall out boy and Boys II Men teams). It's always some funny pranks. I remember when Thong Song came out. I was still a child then. I remember watching a video of this guy with silver hair dancing like an idiot on the beach. And then I thought it was so cool! And to perform this song with him was like returning to my childhood and fulfilling my childhood dream.

- More recently, you performed with Halsey at Coachella.

Halsey is very cool. I didn't know she was a Panic fan when I first decided to cover her song for myself. She tweeted me and we started chatting and then she asked me to speak with her at Coachella and of course I agreed. I am her big fan and I'm glad I got to work with her. I think she has a great future.

- Halsey, Sisqo - who's next in line?

– Oh, I don’t even know… (laughs) Of course, I would love to work with Beyoncé. She is a real queen! Although, perhaps, she does not even know about the existence of my group. But I will work, I will try to make it work.

- I really hope you succeed! If we talk about previous albums and videos, there are a lot of literary quotations and references to books and movies. What is it connected with? Are you claiming some kind of intelligence?

– Literature and cinema have had a very big influence on me, they inspire me to work. I like horror, horror, Stephen King, comedies, books by Tina Fey, Amy Poehler. I love listening to other artists' music, which also inspires me. But my friends influence me the most. And in fact, I never tried to do something for the intellectuals. It's a kind of game for me to do something smart and fun at the same time. But I definitely don't consider myself to be some smart guy.

- You, like The Killers, are from Las Vegas. Do you have any competitive feeling?

No, there is no competition. I am a big fan of them and admire their work. We first met about nine years ago at the same show where our teams played. They didn't know who we were, but after the show, they came up to us and said that we did great.

- You were just getting started. musical career and only received a VMA for the video I Write Sins Not Tragedies. By the way, you then bypassed Madonna, Christina Aguilera and Red Hot Chili Peppers in the nomination for "Best Video of the Year".

- Yes! It was so strange and unexpected! We were on a par with such legends and ahead of everyone!

– You work a lot with covers and did your own version of "Bohemian Rhapsody" by The Queen. Was it not scary to take a swing at such a legendary work?

- Yes, many people told me that I should not do this. And I answered - why not ?! I like this song! I love Queen and it was an honor to work with such a piece. It was a real challenge and it was the biggest and hardest song I've ever had to work with.

- As far as I know, you started with covers.

Yes, I am a big fan of music. I started by trying to perform my favorite songs in my own way, as in a personal karaoke, where I made arrangements for other people's songs. And I think I will work with that in the future as well. In general, I am open to suggestions! (laughs) If someone asks me to do a cover version of his song, I won't refuse.

- Is it dangerous. People will always compare your versions with the original.

“I don't really care about it. The original version will always be better, simply because it's original. And I'm not trying to make it better. I'm trying to make it different. And I get great pleasure from work. The same goes for remixes. We recently released a remix of our composition Victorious. I came to the guys from RAC (The Remix Artist Collective) and said: "Surprise me!" And I didn't want the song to sound better or worse. She had to be different.

Tickets for Panic! At the Disco

Group Panic! At the Disco, taking the stage in Moscow, will create the effect of time travel. Because the guys play retro guitars, keep the image of the rockers of the past decades, and their music came from the passion for such bands as The Beatles, The Zombies and The Beach Boys.

The musicians met high school and decided to do something more than discuss your favorite music, in which there were a lot of coincidences.

Music for traveling in retro and feeling happy

To date, the guys have gained such a demand that allows them to become participants in various music festivals. And they really created their own style, which is called baroque pop.

The meaning of the group's creativity, as one of its members said, is to give listeners the happiness of listening. The group does not divide the audience into special and ordinary ones, but wants to please everyone and the concert in Moscow is expected to be a really interesting event.
