Why does the bsk not work on the VAZ 2114. The display unit of the on-board control system

Block onboard system control

1 - indicator of insufficient oil level in the engine crankcase. Lights up in orange if the oil level in the crankcase has dropped below the “MIN” mark on the gauge. Before topping up the oil, check to see if there is any oil leakage due to loss of tightness in the lubrication system.
2 - signaling device for insufficient level of washer fluid in the washer reservoir. Lights up in orange when there is less than 1 liter of washer fluid in the reservoir.
3 - indicator of insufficient level of coolant in expansion tank. Lights up in orange when the coolant level on a cold engine drops below the allowable limit. Before topping up the liquid, check the tightness of the cooling system.
4 - annunciator of open doors. Lights up red when the car door is not closed.
5 - annunciator of malfunction of stop lamps or marker lights. Lights up in red, in case of a malfunction of the stop lamp when you press the brake pedal or any of the side light lamps when they are turned on.
6 - indicator of wear of the linings of the front brake pads. Lights up in orange when the brake pedal is pressed and stays on until the ignition is turned off if the thickness of the front brake pads has decreased to 1.5 mm.

7 - signaling device for unfastened seat belts. Lights up red when the driver's seat belts are not fastened.
Functional modes of the block:
- switched off;
- Standby mode;
– pre-departure control of signaling devices;
– parameter control.
The unit is in "Off" mode until the key is inserted into the ignition switch. In position 0 ("Off") of the key in the ignition switch, the unit goes into "Standby Mode". If the driver's door is opened at the same time, a "Forgotten key in the ignition switch" malfunction will occur and sound signal The block monitor will emit an intermittent signal for 5–7 s. The signal can be interrupted either by closing the door, or by removing the key, or by turning the key in the ignition switch to position I ("Ignition"). In position I of the key in the ignition switch, the unit switches to the “Pre-departure control of signaling devices” mode, in which, to check their serviceability, all light and sound signaling devices turn on for 3–5 s, and then after a pause of 1 s, the unit switches to the “Parameter control” mode and in the event of a malfunction, it generates an alarm according to the following algorithm:
- the indicator light of the parameter that is out of the norm starts flashing for 5–7 s, after which it switches to a constant glow mode until the malfunction is eliminated or the key in the ignition switch returns to position 0 (“Off”);
- simultaneously with the light signaling device, the sound signaling device turns on for 3 s;
– if at the same time another malfunction occurs, then the audible alarm and the light in the flashing mode begin to work for the last malfunction, as a higher priority, and the light signaling device of the previous malfunction switches to the constant glow mode.

The on-board control system display unit contains an electronic control circuit with a sound signaling device and seven LED signaling devices: insufficient oil level, insufficient washer fluid level, insufficient coolant level, open doors, faulty exterior lighting lamps, wear of the brake pads and unfastened seat belts.

The block can be in one of five modes.

Turned off. When the key is not inserted into the ignition switch (lock), the unit is in the "Off" mode.

Standby mode. When the key is inserted into the ignition switch, the unit goes into standby mode and remains in standby mode when the key in the ignition switch is in the "0" (off) position. If the driver's door is opened in this mode, then the "Forgotten key in the ignition switch" malfunction occurs, the sound signal device starts to emit an intermittent sound signal for (8 ± 2) s. The signal should turn off when the door is closed, the key is removed from the ignition switch or turned to another position.

Preliminary control of signaling devices (testing). This mode is activated by turning the key in the ignition switch to position "I" ("Ignition"). In this case, the sound and all LED signaling devices should turn on for (4 ± 2) s to check their serviceability. At the same time, faults are monitored by level sensors and their state is stored. Until the end of testing, signaling about the state of the sensors is not carried out.

Preliminary control of sensors (sensor status). After the end of testing, a pause follows and the unit switches to the pre-departure control of parameters. Fault signaling (if any) is carried out according to the following algorithm:
- LED signaling devices of those parameters that are outside the limits begin to flash for (8 ± 2) s, after which they are constantly on until the key in the ignition switch is turned to position "0" ("Off");
- simultaneously and synchronously with the LED signaling devices, the audible signaling device turns on, which turns off after (8 ± 2) s.

Monitoring parameters during engine operation. The unit switches to this mode after the end of the preliminary control of the sensors. The control of the parameters of the level sensors is terminated. If a malfunction occurs during the movement, the signaling is repeated according to the algorithm given for the "Preliminary control of sensors" mode. If, during the sound and LED signaling, the key in the ignition switch is turned to position “0” (“Off”), then the sound and LED alarms should turn off.

Malfunctions such as “Brake pad wear” or “Burn-out lamp filaments” should remain in memory until the end of the trip - until the key is turned to position “0” (“Off”).

If within (8 ± 2) s after the start of the light and sound signaling, one or more “Fault” signals appear, then the blinking of the LED should change to a steady light, and the light indication of newly received signals should turn on according to the described algorithm.

When opening any car door, the unit must turn on the interior lighting.

The block can be in one of five modes:

- turned off;
- waiting mode;
– preliminary control of signaling devices (testing);
– preliminary control of parameters (conditions of sensors);
– control of parameters during engine operation.

When opening any car door, the unit must turn on the interior lighting.

Off mode
When the key is not inserted into the ignition switch, the unit is in "off" mode.

Waiting mode
After inserting the key into the ignition switch VAZ 2113, the unit goes into "standby mode" and remains in it while the key in the ignition switch is in position 0 ("Off").
If the driver's door is opened in this mode, a "Forgotten Key in Ignition Switch" fault occurs and the buzzer starts to beep intermittently for (8±2) s. The signal should turn off if you close the door, or remove the key from the ignition switch VAZ 2114, VAZ 2115, VAZ 2113, or turn the key to another position.

Testing
This mode is activated after turning the key in the ignition switch to position I ("Ignition Lada Samara 2"). At the same time, the sound signaling device and all LED signaling devices should turn on (4 ± 2) to check their serviceability.
At the same time, faults are monitored by level sensors and their state is stored. Until the end of testing, the status of the VAZ 2115 sensors is not signaled.

Pre-departure control of parameters
After the end of testing, a pause follows and the unit switches to the pre-departure control of parameters. In this case, fault signaling (if any) is performed according to the following algorithm:

- LED signaling devices of those parameters that are out of the norm start flashing for (8 ± 2) s, after which they begin to burn constantly until the key in the ignition switch is turned to position "0" ("Off");
- simultaneously and synchronously with the LED signaling devices, the audible signaling device turns on, which turns off after (8 ± 2) s.

Monitoring parameters during engine operation
The block enters this last mode after the end of the previous mode. In this case, the control of the parameters of the level sensors is terminated and only the remaining parameters are controlled.
If a malfunction occurs during the movement, then the signaling is repeated according to the algorithm given for the "Pre-departure control of parameters" mode.
If, during the sound and LED signaling, the key in the ignition switch is turned to position "0" ("Off"), then the sound and light signaling of the VAZ 2114 should turn off.
In the event of malfunctions such as "Brake pad wear" or "Burn out lamp filaments", the malfunction must be stored until the end of the trip [until the key is turned to position "0" ("Off")].
If within (8 ± 2) s after the start of the light and sound signaling, one or more "Fault" signals appear, then the flashing light indication should light up with a steady light, and the light indication of newly received signals should turn on according to the described algorithm.
