Hello dear reader! Today, Follow Me Magazine is hosting one of the coolest boy bands - Frendy's Group - a young, but already loved by everyone team, produced by actor, director and musician Alexei Vorobyov. The soloists of the group are Maxim Matsyshyn and Roman Larin.
Follow me magazine is a portal about a dream, and our first question is traditional for everyone. Tell us about your dream, what is it and how are you going to achieve it?
Maksim: My dream is to become a musician that others will look up to.
Novel: And I strive to ensure that my music changes people's lives for the better.
Frendy's group is a project that for many is associated with Alexei Vorobyov, but our readers are interested in learning about the soloists of the group. Tell us what the group is for you and when to expect a new release, because the last clip of Friends was a year ago.
Maksim: We have prepared a lot of new material that we have been accumulating for a whole year to surprise listeners not with one song, but with a whole collection of cool things, where everyone will find something new for themselves :) By the way, very soon, on December 8, we will premiere a new single "Baby, It's Peter" on iTunes and GooglePlay - so there's just a little bit left to wait :)
Novel: The group is a great opportunity to combine the individualities and talents of each of us into one whole, under the leadership of Lesha, to create something original and find your place in the soul of the listener. The material, indeed, has accumulated for several albums. We take the choice and refinement of the material very carefully and seriously, because the main thing is not quantity, but quality, so expect the result in the future.
Before there were three of you, now you are a boy band. How does a duet work?
Maksim: more spacious, more space on the stage (Laughs)
Novel: Now, it seems to me, we have returned to the very beginning, because initially the group consisted of 2 guys - Alexei Vorobyov and Sergey Romanovich (actor of the cinema and TV series Chernobl, Olga, Match and many others - approx.). That is, initially - this was in fact a boy band. Therefore, it seems to me that the stars are only in the right direction, even though we miss Nastya and wish you good luck on your chosen path. (Anastasia Dvoryanskaya is now a student of the theater school of O.P. Tabakov - ed.)
Tell us what do you do in your free time?
Maksim: In my spare time I ride a longboard, travel, teach vocals and seduce women :)
Novel: And I write music, songs, beats. I try to bring something of my own to the sound of the band, so, perhaps, soon you will hear my contribution to the work of Friends.
Do you have a production contract? What are you forbidden and what is allowed?
Maksim: We're not allowed to be ugly and untalented and uninteresting until we've been fined for defaulting, so I think we're doing a good job! :) I want to believe! (Laughs)
Novel: Of course have! But it is more of a disciplinary nature, so we signed without looking :)
Let's move away from creativity, tell us about your biggest impression of the trip, where was it and were there any incidents in other countries?
Maksim: It was September of this year, I saw New York for the first time and it was just great! And, of course, it was nice when a girl recognized me on the Brooklyn Bridge and said that we should release a new song as soon as possible, otherwise she listened to the old one to the holes, and showed her leaky iPhone (Laughs)
Novel: To this day, my best experience is from L.A. There we filmed our first videos in the group almost 3 years ago. This is my city :) In the future I hope to continue my development in music there.
For our readers, are you free? What is the ideal woman for you?
Maksim: Ideal... I adore cheerful girls with a sense of humor - this is my weakness, appearance is not so important, I love easy-going, able to laugh at themselves and others, devoted and loving children and animals.
Novel: I really appreciate in girls such qualities as sincerity, self-sacrifice, humor (as without it), patience and simplicity. There are no perfect women in everything. The main thing is to find your own, and your own is always perfect.
What's the most romantic thing you've ever done?
Maksim: I'm sure it's still ahead...
Novel: It's hard to say, I really like to dedicate poetry, it's hard to call it a romantic act, but I think it's cute :)
Do you have phobias?
Maksim: I'm afraid that the ruble will fall again)
Novel: At school, I was very afraid of large concentrations of teenagers and young people, and constantly avoided them. In my hometown, since childhood, everyone knew me, they knew that I was singing and they were looking for any way to laugh at the “star”. As I get older, it's gone and I've learned to ignore it, so now I guess I'm fearless... well, almost :)

Visiting the magazine Women's Time Frendy group, produced by Alexey Vorobyov. Maxim Matsyshyn and Roman Larin started their career together in a recording studio in Los Angeles. Now the guys are met by crowds of fans in every city, and the video for the song "I'll Always Be With You", recorded with the famous blogger Sasha Spielberg, has already gained more than 6 million views. And this is all just the beginning. Pretty good start in my opinion.
Maria Q: What steps are required on the path to success?
Maksim: You have to be on top every minute. Because if you sang somewhere, performed somewhere, someone noticed you, recommended you to someone, advised you, as in the case of Roma or me.
You must use every chance you have. To use it, you must be ready. To be ready, you must always work on yourself.
Roma: The most important thing is self-development. You have to mold yourself into the artist that the producer wants to promote.
Maria Q: How did you choose your path?
Maxim: I think that since childhood, both for me and for Roma, from the age of two or three we sang in kindergarten, school, music school, institute and after training. We've been down this path since we were kids. The track, of course, changed somehow along the way, the vector changed, but I personally never stopped singing. Despite the fact that there were other professions in my life, for example, television.
Roma: I have the same situation, all since childhood. I remember when I saw Philip Kirkorov on television, I thought: I will grow up and become like Philip Kirkorov. Then I saw Nikolai Baskov, and everyone started calling me Nikolai Baskov, because I sang the song "Bar-organ". Then Dima Bilan came on stage, and I decided that I would become like Dima Bilan. Then I saw Justin Bieber, I thought I would be like Justin. And then I came to Moscow, got into the Friends group and wanted to become Alexei Vorobyov. In the end, I am who I am.
Maria: “I will always be with you” - I think a lot of girls want to hear this phrase from you. What kind of girl does she have to be to hear her?
Maksim: Personally, I like girls with a sense of humor, kind, patient.
Roma: What kind of girl should be? Beloved, I think. And the rest, of course, are also important points, but the most important thing is to be loved. After all, they love the soul, not the shell.
Maria: Our female audience is very interested in what external factors do you pay special attention to?
Maksim: I have always loved well-groomed girls. Despite her wealth, if a girl has an innate sense of style and taste, then she can even dress in inexpensive stores and look amazing at the same time, and men will turn to her. I even have such an example in my life. In general, I have always loved well-groomed girls who take care of their hands, hair, smell delicious. You know, there is a saying - a smart woman will not allow herself to be ugly. I am sure about that. Of course, you need to lead a sports lifestyle. Alcohol, smoking - all this affects the skin, the condition of the head, hair, and so on.
A smart woman will not allow herself to be ugly! A girl should make you want to strive to be close to her, that she is some kind of diamond, not framed by your charisma.
Maria: And finally, what do you wish women?
Maksim: Forgive men for some jumps and weaknesses. We do all this for you. We joke, we smile, sometimes we even somehow act up and wait for your attention, just because we like you.
Roma: Girls, stay as beautiful as Sasha Spielberg in the video "I will always be with you." And most importantly, love and be loved.

The Friendzone is a school pop-punk band from the city of N, saturated with teenage dreams and the smell of cheap cigarettes. You can’t get out of this friend zone - we love you, but as a friend. This text hangs on the Friendzone group on VKontakte, which has almost 150,000 subscribers.
This is surprisingly large and surprisingly fast: the first post on the page appeared only three months ago. For comparison: in VK at Grechka, despite the fact that the informational noise around her continues much longer.
Another testament to the unprecedented interest in the "Friendzone" in the VK music ecosystem: this playlist of their debut album with the telling title "Flirt at the Sign-in" has 2 million plays.
What are they
All five members of the "Friendzone" are fictional cartoon characters with the corresponding names: face-hiding lyricist and outsider Make Love, rapper, hooligan and drug dealer Croky Boy, the most noticeable and spoiled girl in Mayby Baby's class, DJ Valera Deejakin, passionate about music "it is possible that is gay, ”and the cat Kisyosh Pisyosh is the producer of the team. Each of them has its own VK account.
Musically, the "Friendzone" was clearly repulsed. But if another new group, "Tomorrow I'll Throw", the appearance of which could not but be dictated by the popularity of Kirill Bledny, clearly plays on the same field with the "inspirers", then the creators of the "Friendzone" went further. There is not only synthpunk here, but also trap beats, and neo-RʼnʼB instrumentals, pop songs inspired by Katy Perry and Taylor Swift, and even emo-cons in the spirit of the late Lil Peep. In general, the full range of music is involved, for which schoolchildren in middle and high school go crazy. Moreover, the sound of the songs is studio, but insipid, leaving a slight feeling of home amateur performance. This, obviously, should also add "toughness".
Track "Virgin"
The roles are divided according to the images: Maybe Baby intones past the notes with a stereotypical “girl” pronunciation to the songs, Make Love pulls sweet-voiced vocalizations, and Kroki in a hoarse voice, distorted by the sound effect (we’ll talk about why this was needed, we’ll talk further), reads rap verses.
They sing and read about what, as it were, by default should excite today's teenager most of all: sex, alcohol and drugs, a slight interest in same-sex relationships and other joys of adult life. Which side by side with chaste compositions about embarrassment in the first kiss or an invitation to dance at the school disco. One and the same character Make Love in one track is afraid to kiss the girl he likes, in the other he confidently declares that he needs a virgin.
Sung by "Propaganda" and "Factor-2" teenage nihilism, straightforwardness, indecision and hooliganism are found in modern times with the expression of Kirill Bledny. Plus endless topical namedropping, also aimed at the intended listener: the lyrics feature Face, Rick and Morty, K-pop stars BTS, The Weeknd, Britney, Dorn, Supreme, Leviʼs, as well as swipes, instagram, twitter, VK and shipperings in fan fiction.
Having released the debut video "Boychik", the cartoon group burst into the real world, immediately declaring a tour of 20 cities of Russia
The plan worked for a part of the target audience - in the comments to "Boychik", for example, they seriously discuss the relationship between the members of the group or look for clothes in the style of each of the characters. It turns out that "Friendzone" is a project that tries to use all the keys to a young listener. There is a serial line of character relationships, and all the popular musical archetypes at once, and a teenage cry of the soul, and stylish attributes, and forbidden fruits.
In the recent musical history of Russia, this seems to be the first example of such an obvious production project, with clear targeting and taking into account all the realities of music promotion in social networks.
Who is behind them
They are already trying to figure out the real participants in the "Friendzone" - in particular, a funny investigation has appeared on YouTube. Interestingly, it was quickly blocked for using fragments of the "Friendzone" tracks - at the request of the copyright holders. This is rather atypical and looks like an attempt to prevent the distribution of the video, the creators of which reveal the identities of the project participants. Now the video has been re-uploaded, removing the songs "Friendzones" from there, and it.
The video claims that the voices of the project are rappers from St. Petersburg Galat, Trippi and Emelevskaya, and the producer is Mikhail Panshin, the creator of the popular youth public VK "Rhymes and Punches". And although no evidence is given, there is a lot of circumstantial evidence in favor of this theory.
As for Galat, the timbre of the voice of the most famous member of the "Friendzone" and a veteran of rap battles is too recognizable to hide it with sound effects. It is impossible to confuse, to believe in a coincidence - even more so. It is significant that Galat has not released new material for a long time.
As for Trippi, he completely cleaned up and renamed, but reposts from there can be found in Galata and Trippi (what a coincidence!). And here, too, it is easy to notice a strong similarity - both the voice and the singsong manner of Trippi and Make Love.
It’s more difficult to say something about Emelevskaya with confidence: the mournful “girlish” pronunciation of Maebi Baby interferes.
It is worth noting that the releases of the Friendzone receive the most significant support in the public (2.5 million subscribers), where all the premieres of the Friendzone take place. Which of the rap community on VKontakte has grown into what would previously be called a production center: RiP actively pushes ward artists on social networks (you can recall the so-called repost records on VK, which were set by Face and Lieser), has been organizing tours for a long time and hosts the Rhymes Show music festival for the second year. Where, by the way, the first performances of the "Friendzone" will take place.
Autumn tour "Friendzone" called "The main entry of your life" includes 20 concerts. The venues are small by today's standards. But as we know, the distance from small stages to soldouts in halls with thousands of people these days is overcome in a very short time.
