• D.A.F. Partei (D.A.F. Partei) is an electronic music-oriented band, considered a model in the electro and techno genres. 30 years ago, the band began their creative journey under the name D.A.F., playing mostly punk music and minimally electronic tracks.
• "Kraftwerk" (Kraftwerk) - musicians from Düsseldorf, who were the first to add synthesizer sounds to German pop music of numerous musical generations and thereby created a new idea. They changed the face of music forever and are still very popular in Germany today.

• "Tokio Hotel" (Tokio Hotel) is a famous German band that has gained popularity far beyond the borders of its native Magdeburg. Their work motivates young people from different countries to learn German.
• Die Krupps - founded in the early 1980s, this group has been holding its own for three decades. Their first album was released in 1981 under the title "Stahlwerksinfonie" ("Stalwerksinfonie").
• "Kreator" (Kreator) - a group with some satanic elements, unusual vocals, playing in the style of metal.
• Frank Farian is a deep-voiced singer whose performances have been hits for decades. Glory to Farian came in the eighties, then he won a Grammy. Initially, his music was ridiculed, but famous hits still fill the dance floors.
• "Scorpions" (Scorpions) - bright representatives of German rock, are among the leaders of the top German groups. Having gained popularity in Japan, the group moved to America and for 50 years now pleases the whole world with their singles.
• "Sodom" (Sodom) - one of the most popular German musical groups, which had a huge impact on the musical direction of metal, and still remains at the peak of popularity.
• "Accept" (Accept) - a group that founded a typical Teutonic metal, popular in their homeland, in North and South America and in Japan.
• Rammstein is a hard rock band known for their provocative lyrics and impressive fiery performances. The Grammy Award winners, the band members, still delight their fans to this day.

The list of German bands and performers, of course, does not end there. Although the reputation of Germany as an important musical country is based on the names of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Handel and Strauss, German performers and musicians are increasingly occupying places in the musical arena not only of the country, but of the world.

Modern trends in German music are helping to attract an increasing number of students to Germany's music academies, and music lovers visit a variety of festivals: from the Wagner Festival in Bayroth to the Donaueschingen Festival of Contemporary Music.
