GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS IN PREPARATION FOR THE MUNICIPAL TOUR OF THE OLYMPIAD

Knowing the concepts of the main styles and their time frames is absolutely necessary for successful writing of the work (although you should not immediately give up if something is suddenly forgotten: you can often deduce the answer logically, sometimes even find a clue in another task, or, in the end, write at least something you know about the task, and with a high probability of getting a non-zero score). Of course, it is very useful to know the major figures of each era, and often additional points are given for a specific indication of the author. As a rule, such a degree of concretization is rarely required, but it would be nice to remember at least the most important milestones: for example, that the architects of the Parthenon are Iktin and Kallikrat, and Leonardo da Vinci wrote the Mona Lisa. Judging by the assignments of past years, the best option would be to memorize 5-6 figures of one era and at least 2-3 of their main works. Of course, the more specific your knowledge, the more chances you have to get maximum points, but remember that you should not go to extremes and try to squeeze into the task everything that you think is even remotely related to the topic. As for additional topics for repetition, many people forget about the task associated with the movie clip. To successfully cope with it, it is recommended to look at the list of films recommended for viewing by the Ministry of Culture (http://mkrf.ru/press-center/news/spisok.php (link is external) ). It is not known, of course, whether the film will be from this list, but judging by my personal experience, the probability is high;) In any case, it is not superfluous to at least learn the correspondence title-director-(release year). This will definitely help you.
In addition, do not forget about memorable dates and anniversaries this year. By 2016, you can remember the abolition of serfdom, the battle for Leningrad, the 150th anniversary of "Crime and Punishment" (here you can see the film adaptations and Dostoevsky's biography) and many other dates - try to identify the most significant ones and repeat, this can also help. Good luck!

09/16/2014 The school stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren has started.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, for the third year in a row, the Nizhny Novgorod Region will host the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Art (MHK) on the basis of NNGASU. In order to take part in the regional stage, it is necessary to participate in the school and municipal levels of the Olympiad.

The All-Russian Art Olympiad for schoolchildren is one of the youngest: it was first held in 2010. The competition is held for 7-11 grades. For a successful performance, students need to show that they are well versed in art, can name works and analyze them, and also know how to express their thoughts and impressions beautifully and accurately. Videos are often used in assignments.

School, municipal and regional stages of the Olympiad are held in one round. The final is held for grades 9-11 in two rounds, each of them is given 3 hours 55 minutes. In the first round, the children are waiting for theoretical tasks, the second round is creative. Participants are invited to come up with an idea for a documentary or a poster on a given topic, create an encyclopedia project or a presentation illustrating, for example, the revival of the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum. To cope with the tasks of the second round, students will need not only a good cultural basis, but also a rich imagination.

Winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the Olympiad receive benefits for admission to specialized areas of universities (including admission out of competition).

Compiles and submits to the organizer an analytical report on the results of the stage tasks.

The first type of tasks

aimed at identifying educational and cognitive competence: recognition of a work of art, revealing both the general knowledge of the participants on the subject, and their ability to identify, recognize a more or less familiar work of art by its reflection in an artistic or art history text and may include questions related to works of art ranging from textbook and popular to lesser known works of art . Inclusion

The latter allows you to determine the most prepared students who are able to take part in the next municipal round of the Olympiad.

Tasks of the first type become more complicated along the way of revealing the range of knowledge from textbook and popular works of art at the school stage to less well-known to a wide circle at subsequent stages.

W assignments of the first type regional stage contain less recognizable features of the work that require special subject knowledge.

Tasks of the first type final stage often require special advanced knowledge on the subject.

The second type of tasks

aimed at identifying emotional-personal and communicative competencies. This type of assignment reveals the ability of schoolchildren to emotionally perceive and convey their perception of a work of art or a cultural phenomenon in various areas, their vocabulary.

Participants are invited

Determine your emotional attitude to a work of art;

Use figurative language of description to convey your emotional impression;

fix your emotional impression in the proposed artistic or artistic-journalistic form (for example, to create the text of a poster or booklet).

For analysis, both the works named in the task or reproductions of their images, as well as audio or video fragments of musical works or films can be offered.

At the municipal stage, this type of tasks (second level of complexity)

to determine the mood captured in the work, offers

a little-known work, with the analysis of which the participant, most likely, did not meet.

At the regional stage (the third level of complexity), a comparative description of the moods of two or more works, including different types of art, developing the same theme in different ways can be offered.

At the final stage (fourth level of complexity), the task can be complicated by the proposal to determine the means of expression that contribute to the creation and transmission of various moods, as well as to conduct a comparative analysis of two or more works of different types of art.

The third type of tasks

is aimed at identifying the level of development of research and creative competencies, at identifying special knowledge and art criticism abilities to systematize the material, build it in chronological order, highlight phenomena that are not included in the proposed series when determining the logic of compiling the series. This type of task is aimed at identifying the participant's ability to analyze a work of art. At the municipal stage, the task can be complicated by the proposal to identify a work of art by its fragment and analyze it in its entirety from memory, which makes it possible to identify the general culture of the participant. The task can be complicated by a sentence

Answer questions that expand your understanding of creativity

A variant of the third type of tasks is to identify the characteristic features of the artist's style in fragments of his works, from textbooks to less well-known to a wide range of viewers.

The third type of tasks is complicated by suggesting less well-known, non-textbook works of art or less recognizable episodes of well-known works for work, as well as a request to name the characteristic features of the artist's creative style.

Tasks of the regional and final stages may include fragments of several works of art and be complicated by the task of the second type: to identify the leading mood of the work and the artistic means of its transmission; a proposal to conduct a comparative analysis of the works. When completing the task, the participant can demonstrate a wider range of knowledge than that specified in the task, for example, indicate the genre, mark the genre characteristics of the work or name which direction in art it belongs to, name the names of the author of the work, give additional information about the characteristic features of it creativity. Such extensions of the answer are evaluated by additional points, which must be provided for when developing criteria and methods for evaluating answers.

The fourth type of tasks

aimed at identification of special knowledge and art criticism abilities to systematize the material, lining it up in chronological order, highlighting phenomena that are not included in the proposed series, excluding from the series a feature or name that does not correspond to the series when determining the logic of compiling the series, and includes test tasks for correlating definitions with series of names of art phenomena, special terms related to different types of art.

It is recommended to complicate the task by inviting the participants to briefly comment on the choice made, which will allow you to see the logic proposed by the participant, which may be original and not taken into account in the intended answers. In the assessment criteria, it is advisable to provide a point that allows you to evaluate the originality of the approach to completing the task.

At the municipal stage, the task can be complicated by the proposal to continue a number of features of the proposed phenomena.

The fourth type of tasks reveals

The ability to highlight significant content units in the proposed works of art or art history texts;

the ability to conduct a comparative analysis of works of art of a given series;

Possession of special terminology when comparing artistic phenomena, the ability to highlight them in the text, reveal their meaning and content and use them independently when analyzing works of art.

Tasks for determining knowledge in the field of art history terminology, names and signs of trends in art, determining the genre belonging of works can become more complicated both in terms of increasing the volume of the task and in terms of complicating the form of execution, for example, filling in the free cells of the table when playing a system of genres of one of the types art.

An example of a task of the fourth type can be a proposal to highlight significant meaningful units in an artistic, art criticism or popular science text, or in the proposed text to highlight words denoting specific means of expression of a particular type of art.

At the municipal level, the task can be complicated by a proposal to supplement a number of highlighted words with terms related to the same art form.

For example, if as a result of the analysis of the text, words denoting the expressive means of sculpture stand out from it: space, volume, material, shape, color, d completion of a number I can be texture, scale, contour, movement, posture, gesture.

Fifth type of tasks

aimed at identification of the ability to independently search, structure and comprehend the necessary information associated with the MCC, the ability to navigate in extensive material, knowledge of search methods, as well as the knowledge of the MCC required for such a search, as well as the ability to present the results of the work in the required form.

This type of tasks allows you to identify the formation of information and communication competencies. At the first school stage, this type of task immediately presents the third level of complexity, focuses on collecting information from the Internet or in the library space, but its first part (give preliminary keywords for the upcoming search) involves testing subject competencies, and the second (search and selection of necessary information) checks awareness in the forms and genres of information material (reproductions, art history articles, dictionary entries, audio files), as well as the ability to formulate the main results of the search (i.e., reflect on your work and give a brief report).

Features of the procedure for performing the fifth type of task. It is important that the participant thinks carefully about what he will look for before approaching books or a computer. The success of the task depends on this. The participant makes preparatory notes in blue or purple ink on

a separate stamped sheet, which he is allowed to use after submitting answers to the main tasks, and use to supplement notes from reference materials of selected resources, which he maintains in black ink. This type of tasks is present in a different form at the subsequent stages of the Olympiad.

At the municipal stage, it would probably be difficult to conduct this type of test, verify and evaluate the submissions. Therefore, the task takes the form of systematization of the proposed material or selection of the material needed to disclose a specific problem. The material proposed for systematization is recommended to be compiled in such a way that the participant can propose systematization according to various criteria (genres, authors, styles, eras, etc.).

At the regional stage, the systematization of the material is complicated by the proposal to create an exhibition concept with the task of giving the available information on the plates accompanying the proposed works of art, compiling the text of the poster, highlighting the iconic work that will be placed on the poster.

Task 7 .

Answer analysis.

Before us is a painting by B. Kustodiev "Festivities on the Volga". The canvas depicts the city embankment, where people walk.The work is multifaceted. The author seems to paint the image, being on a dais, from a high point of view. In the foreground of the picture are depicted directly the vacationers themselves of different positions and status. Here are ladies in hats decorated with flowers and ribbons. The light, bright image of ladies is accompanied by images of dapper young people dressed in the latest fashion. Young ladies are light, in their hands they have airy snow-white umbrellas folded for the time being. One of the men is depicted with a cane and a gold watch chain. Everything in his image suggests that he is handsome and dandy. The common people are crowding around, women and men, dressed to match the holiday. The men are in bright crimson-scarlet shirts, and the women are in white and colorful smart shawls. . Everything was mixed up, all colors, estates and became a single, multi-colored holiday. The whole surrounding world has turned into a noisy fair celebration, where the hysterical sounds of a street orchestra are drowned in the conversations and laughter of the walking crowd, the cries of merchants, inviting the merry people to come to them.

The middle plan of the picture space is filled with a beautiful view of the Volga and a bright green landscape against the background of the evening sky and the gradually fading summer day. The Russian birch is superbly painted by Kustodiev - a great symbol. Light gentle, green, juicy colors, bright, fluffy greenery, like complex embroidery, soft, warm, dear. And all this against the backdrop of the blue, transparent Volga, the mighty Russian river. The farthest plan draws the opposite bank in front of us, and a wonderful cathedral, surrounded by beautiful nature, immersed in greenery, evening twilight, multi-colored flashes of the evening sky: blue-pink, pinkish-pale, etc. The painting “Walking on the Volga” with a complex composition in several levels, plans. But all this multifaceted action looks like a single work, which is characterized by the harmony of details, colors, plot images. The broad soul of the Russian is revealed especially in the course of such open festivities and folk expanse. The spirit of the people is strong, its joy and craving for life, for life over the edge, for life excitedly, for life to the fullest. The picture was painted in 1909. You can see it in the State Russian Museum in Moscow.
