Three types of people according to Ayurveda. Accurate Ayurvedic dosha test online

Each person is born with a unique combination of vata, pitta and kapha (V-P-K), the three main energies of the doshas in Ayurveda, which determines his strengths and weak sides There are no two identical people. To determine the individual characteristics of a person and the correct selection of treatment, three pure and seven mixed types constitution.

If a person was born with a lot of pitta and little vata and kapha, we consider that person to be pitta dominant (he belongs to the “pure” pitta dominant type). A person with the same amount of vata and pitta, who has little kapha, belongs to the mixed type of vata-pitta.
Under the influence of climate, the change of seasons, depending on age, diet and lifestyle, the human body can get out of balance. If he gains 10 kg in weight, the ratio of the doshas will change. A person will not feel “at ease” until the ratio of doshas in his body returns to innate. Ayurveda helps a person to discover and restore the ratio of doshas inherent in him.

Cotton wool type

This type has thin-boned body regardless of growth. The joints of "pure" cotton people are thin, dry and crack easily, or large, porous, protruding. The body is usually distinguished by a disproportion of the legs and torso (long legs, short torso). Scoliosis is common irregular shape head (bent nose, displaced nasal septum), crooked legs. If these people get fat, then their belly grows. The skin is dry, rough, cool to the touch, darker in color than other members of the same race. Hair dark, dry, wavy or frizzy, unruly, often dandruff. The teeth are uneven, often protruding, with wide interdental spaces and a tendency to exposed gums. The eyes are often small, dry, mobile, dark or brown.

Appetite fickle or bad. They often get carried away and skip meals or, conversely, experience bouts of "wolf" hunger. Thirst is changeable. The fingers and toes are long and thin. Nails are brittle and break easily. If such a person is ill, he often experiences pain and other nervous symptoms. Pulse weak, irregular. Urine scanty. Flatulent stools, dry and hard. Tendency to constipation. A vata-type person walks quickly, is physically active, but is easily exhausted and tired. He often relies on sugar, caffeine, and other stimulants to recuperate. Trace elements are easily washed out of his body. Poorly retains body weight unless channels are blocked.

Mind restless, active, curious and creative, becomes anxious and insecure under stress. Easily forgets and changes decisions, while having a good short-term memory. Speech is fast, chaotic, impulsive. Doesn't finish sentences, often interrupts others. Very expressive, gesticulates a lot. Easily influenced by other people and often dissatisfied with relationships. Vata type people show interest in social life. Prone to insomnia. It is difficult for them to fall asleep, their sleep is intermittent, they often dream of flying, running, jumping, they experience fear in their sleep. Vata people's money flows through their fingers - they spend in obedience to momentary desires.

People of this type are very different from each other, but all show most of these features.

  • Balanced Vata: friendliness; benevolence, readiness to render a service, a creative person who knows how to forgive, cheerful, happy, the soul of the company.
  • Unbalanced vata: excessive dryness, weight loss, anemia, constant fatigue, lack of energy, distraction, chronic constipation; nervousness; hyperactivity, irritability, body functions are disturbed, digestion is weak, poor memory, respiratory disorders.

Pitta type

There are also numerous manifestations of "fire" in the sphere of thinking and behavior - discrimination, perception, memory, desires, decision making, courage, striving for leadership, manipulation, a sense of justice.

  • Balanced Pitta: cheerfulness, good digestion, the ability to eat anything, courage, charm, responsibility, caring.

Kapha type

"Pure" kapha is easy to recognize. These people have a big body and massive skeletal. They have thick, oily skin that is cool to the touch and is white or pale in color. • Balanced kapha: strength, directness, willingness to get down to business, a person who is open, caring, patient, understanding, happy, friendly, devoted, "confidently standing on the ground", calm, balanced; he is characterized by firmness with a well-developed sense of self-esteem.
  • Unbalanced kapha: obesity, softness (literally and figuratively), too mobile joints, weakness, insecurity, envy, greed, secrecy, self-absorbed couch potato.

MIXED TYPES

There are seven of them - vata-pitta (VP), vata-kapha (VC), pitta-vata (PV), pitta-kapha (PK), kapha-vata (KV), kapha-pitta (KP), vata- pitta-kapha (VPK).

In India, where marriages are most often concluded within a certain caste or group, types of one dosha predominate. In the rest of the world, which has lost the class structure of society, and especially in Russia, which has undergone catastrophic upheavals, everything is mixed up and therefore mixed types of constitution predominate. Usually, in the Mixed type, any one dosha predominates (it is indicated in the first place), however, there is another strong dosha, approaching the first in severity. For example, in a VP person, vata is somewhat stronger than pitta. In a PV person, Pitta is stronger than Vata. Finally, there is a type in which all three doshas are equally expressed and balanced - a balanced tridosha (BTC).

Vata Pitta.

These people are thin, like "clean" cotton wool, friendly, talkative, move quickly, while they are distinguished by a sharper intellect and greater enterprise. They may be forgetful. This type is not characterized by extremes of vata. They are not so tense and fickle. Do not gain weight.

Food is not as important to them as it is to Pitta, but digestion is stronger than that of Vata. They endure cold more easily than pure cotton people. They are more tolerant of noise and physical discomfort. They combine strong pitta motivation with the imagination and creativity of vata.

They are calmer than pure cotton wool, they are distinguished by great constancy and confidence. These people are easy to get used to, they need stability, they like to relax. VP people are creative people, wonderful orators. They have a good sense of humor.

Pitta-vata.

The constitution of the PV type is stronger than that of the VP, they have more developed muscles, more sensitive skin and a higher susceptibility to infections. They are fast moving, hardy, persistent, energetic, like Pitta, but they have the lightness of vata, they have a good memory and speech style.

They like to eat, digestion is strong, stools are more regular than those of the VP, but gases are more often formed. People of this type lose weight easily. Reaction to stress - fear or anger, loss of confidence, tension, indecision. These people suffer from overheating, can hardly stand the noise. They love to talk and command.

Vata-kapha.

This type is difficult to determine, since it combines opposite qualities, and, moreover, indecisive vata often does not allow you to highlight the main thing. These people are not thin and not fat, more often they have a thin-boned skeleton of cotton wool.

Digestion may be slow or changeable. They do not tolerate cold well, are talkative and relaxed in conversation, like kapha. They have an easy nature. Outside of a stressful situation, they are not prone to extreme emotions.

They know kapha's tendency to drag out things, and therefore they prefer to act quickly and efficiently. These people love to store and accumulate.

People of the VK type are characterized by constancy, fidelity, purposefulness and readiness for service. This type can be confused with the Pitta type.

Kapha Vata.

People of this type are like representatives of the previous one (VC), but they are more strongly built and move more slowly. They are easier to please. They have an even temperament, they are even more relaxed than VC, and, unlike VC, suffer from a lack of enthusiasm. Hair is wavy and thick. Often athletic and hardy.

Like VC, they tend to have a stable digestion and do not tolerate cold well. Suffer from accumulation of mucus. If they have nothing to do, they easily become depressed. They think more about others than about themselves.

Pitta-kapha.

This is the type in which pitta energy resides in a strong kapha body. The skin has a copper tint. Compared to kapha, they have more developed musculature. They can be large and clumsy. They are good athletes due to their combination of strength and endurance. Their personality combines the stability of kapha and the strength of pitta. You can notice a tendency to anger and criticism. They are always ready to take on a new business, striving for a goal, constant, stable, hardy and energetic. Money comes to them easily; this makes them excellent entrepreneurs.

Combines the digestion of pitta and resistance to diseases of kapha. Food for them is medicine, they do not miss its receptions. PCs are prone to accumulation of mucus, sputum in the lungs.

Kapha Pitta.

These are people with a kapha type structure, which differs from PC in a large amount of fat. They are rounder in face and body, more relaxed than PCs, and move more slowly. They have stable energy. Of all the types based on Pitta and Kapha, they are the most enduring, love physical activity, but are less motivated to play sports than PCs.

Out of balance, they easily gain weight. Recovering, they easily return to their original weight. Money comes to them easily, these people know how to plan for the future. You can rely on them, they are true friends and can cope with any situation. Prone to arrogance, are immune to criticism.

Vata Pitta Kapha.

This type is the most difficult to describe, because all the doshas in these people are approximately equal in strength. This is the most balanced type with a tendency to longevity, good health and strong immunity. But if they do not take care of themselves, any dosha can go out of balance and a corresponding disorder will appear.

Ayurvedic doctors say that if the doshas in this type of person are out of balance, they are the most difficult to treat. These people can adapt to any situation. However, there are very few true military-industrial complex. As a rule, one of the mixed types is disguised as a military-industrial complex.

Idleness. Sedatives and tranquilizers. Doubt, greed and possessiveness.

WATAPITTA

The traits of such people reflect a combination of Vata and Pitta doshas. For example, they often have wavy hair, caused by a combination of the curlyness of vata and the straightness of pitta. Basically they have poor circulation. They love to eat, but they have trouble digesting large amounts of food.

A Healthy Vata Pitta Balanced Personality Has the Ability to Think Originally- a characteristic of vata, as well as an expert in applying the theory received in practice - a characteristic of pitta.

Lightness (quickness and quickness) and intensity (zealousness) are common qualities of vata and pitta. The proper use of this intensity is to use your quickness for the purpose of intense self-development. When vata and pitta are mismatched in a person, alternating fear and anger appear as a response to stress.

PITTAKAPHA

Of all the constitutions, pitta-kapha doshas seem to be the best adapted to the confusion, inconsistency and constant change that characterize the world today, because they combine the stability of kapha and the adaptability of pitta.

Many people who have achieved all-round success in life have a pita-kapha constitution.. An active pitta metabolism balances the powerful kapha physique, providing good health and the anger of pitta is well tempered by the foresight of kapha, which promotes good mental balance.

The ease with which they achieve success in the world develops the arrogance and arrogance of pitta and the prim self-righteousness of kapha, which can completely isolate the individual from all reality.

Bitter and astringent foods suit them best.

KAPHAVATA

People with vata-kapha tend to be tall, but with an average build and most other physical qualities, similar to people with pitta doshas. Vata and Kapha are united by their coldness. However, they still do not suffer as much from physical cold as pure types of vata due to the strength and protection of kapha. They have a double emotional need for warmth.

Their inherent lack of warmth usually manifests physically as disorders of the digestive tract, especially constipation; diseases of the respiratory organs with much secretion of mucus are also common to them. They may be afraid to make decisions without proper prior research.

They should eat sour, salty and spicy foods.

SAMADOSH

From a physiological, emotional and psychological point of view, such a person is an ideal type. All three bio-energies in it are well balanced. Such a biotype suffers much less from emotional ups and downs, and is also well protected from diseases.

If he does get sick sometimes, it is usually due to bad food or external (climate, season, etc.) influences. Well-balanced people notice even the smallest details. They follow a very well thought out daily routine because they believe that success never comes easy.

They are considered important exemplary personalities, and they often occupy a very important position in society. e. Unfortunately, such people are extremely rare.

In addition, there is always a chance of scoring the same number of points as a result of testing only for any two doshas. Such people have the qualities of both of these doshas, being "balanced" within only two of the three doshas. published If you have any questions on this topic, ask them to specialists and readers of our project

Today, as I promised a week ago, I post tests with comments on how to determine your individual balance of doshas.

For those who like to be quick and interactive - here are a few links for fairly broad tests. The only thing, let me remind you, is that in some places they will determine not the innate balance, prakriti, but what you have at the moment - vikriti.

Naturally, in any answer, in fact, several options can be combined. For example, your hair may well have characteristics in between the two doshas.

I'll start, perhaps, not even with the test itself, but with a description of general trends. In Ayurveda, it is believed that our appearance, and our physiology, and our psyche are a certain balance of energies. As a rule, all these structures (external, internal, physiological) are not separated, they are perceived as a single whole. Partly it makes sense - about psychosomatics, I think everyone knows. But still, sometimes it is important to understand exactly where your imbalance is. Agree, treating apathy (an excess of kapha in the psyche) with cucumbers (reduces kapha, but in digestion) or temperature (an excess of pitta in the body) by walking under the moon (reduces pitta in the psyche) will obviously not work =) As applied to style, we have already encountered this - there is an external given (type of lines), there is an internal one (style - persona). It is always possible to combine them into a single whole (there will be a personal style just right), but this does not mean that they are always the same, and may not be too close at first glance.

So, to business. I will start writing about doshas, I, perhaps, with appearance. It is she who is most often paid attention to in tests, it is with her that there are quite a lot of confusion, moreover. if you especially look at the pictures that illustrate the "typical representative", it becomes rather sad. The "closest to the original" picture that I found is this one:

Our appearance includes several parameters - height, bone structure, physique, color, facial features, hair structure, general body geometry. You can and probably still highlight something if you wish =) but this is quite enough for us.

So, height.
Vata is a movement, and often from one extreme to another. Usually the growth of cotton wool is either clearly less than average, or clearly above average (moreover, usually in combination with fineness, either a clearly small and almost childlike appearance, or elongation is obtained).

Pitta in this regard is not particularly remarkable - growth is in the region of average.

Kapha is also in the mid range.

Bone structure.
Cotton wool is light - the bone structure is thin, therefore, quite sharp, the joints stick out at any weight (that's when the "dramatic bone structure" in line theory is clearly visible). Cotton wool is also sharp - which gives sharpness to the forms, they are not smooth.

Kapha is heavy, and also smooth. Therefore, the bone structure is often wide and smooth (as in the natural type along the lines and romance). Here, by the way, I’ll say right away that Kapha is different, like other types too. There is kapha when the element of earth clearly predominates (this is associative just natural in perception, it is represented more often - a heavy bone structure, stable, strong, slow and productive), and there is kapha when the element of water prevails (this is an associative romantic - it is less and less likely to imagine that in vain.Smooth, rounded, abundant, caring)

Pitta is again just average. This does not mean that this is necessarily a balanced type in line theory. it's just that neither smoothness nor sharpness is very striking.

Body type.

And here - there is a lot of things that bring people down from their innate balance to acquired data. Often the physique is confused with weight, which is not true. The weight of any type, in general, within the normal range should be in balance. If a person is full, this does not mean that he is kapha, it means that kapha is out of balance.
The roots grow from there, which is just a tendency that Vata quickly digests everything (moreover, both food and information), but assimilates superficially and little, Pitta digests everything rather quickly and assimilates "purposefully". And kapha slowly digests everything, but it extracts even the little things. From this, apparently, the conclusion is that if you feed kapha and vata equally, then kapha will get more nutrition from there, but this can also lead to an overabundance. Vata, respectively, has a disadvantage.

In fact, balanced vata is thin-boned, small or, on the contrary, high, fat is gaining poorly, muscles are unexpressed, thin. Pitta is medium, muscles can be quite pronounced, either "athletic" type, or balanced. Kapha can be stable and wide, it can be round and smooth, in men the muscles are quite dense (imagine a man of a natural type along the lines), in women it can probably also be the case in the case of the predominance of the elements of the earth, or, more often, a clear female roundness of forms . Not extra weight again, namely the bends.

coloring

It is more complicated here, since Ayurveda was originally designed for the inhabitants of India, but there is a general trend. It will be even easier for you and me, dear readers - we know about subtones =)

Vata is air + space, and also cold. The most common colors of cotton wool are gray (silver), and bluish. It can be, for example, gray eyes, gray - brown eyes. Gray-black hair, grayish skin, bluish lips, etc. The general associative impression of exterior colors is cool air or uncertainty. It is believed that cotton wool has a grayish or bluish undertone of the skin.

Pitta is lava, these are shades of gold, orange and red. Colors with warm undertones. The general impression of exterior colors is warmth or activity. Skin tone is reddish.

Kapha is a meadow with a lake, soothing shades of blue-green, milky light, rich dark. In the original, a typical Indian kapha is "wheatish complexion". For Indians, it is considered lightish, the undertone is light yellow. With hair and eyes - they are either clearly light or clearly dark, but without extremes, saturated, soothing colors.

Hair texture.

Cotton wool is dry, light, crispy, in motion. Cotton wool hair is therefore often dry, zigzag curls, thin hair.

Pitta oily, hot, penetrating. Her hair is therefore straight (straight lines - penetrating), of medium density, it is believed that due to overheating with an imbalance, it turns gray early or falls out.

Kapha is dense, abundant, smooth. Her hair is therefore dense, greasy, wavy.

General body geometry.
Cotton wool in motion - the general impression of it - broken lines and sharpness.
Pitta is purposefully active - the overall geometry is a balance of sharpness and roundness.
Kapha is smooth and flowing - the general geometry is either the stability of the rock or the softness of the roundness.

Physiology.

Here I will include all the processes that depend on the internal organs.

Endurance and activity.

Vata is active but light. Therefore, there is usually an overabundance of activity, but it cannot support it for a long time. Tends to waste energy.

Pitta is active and purposeful. Activity is normal, the distribution of forces also more or less corresponds to activity.

Kapha is stable and fluid. There is not much activity, but there is a lot of accumulated strength. Tends to accumulate energy.

Digestion and Appetite

Vata is irregular - sometimes he wants to eat and drink, sometimes he doesn't. Something like this - today I eat a lot, tomorrow I don’t eat at all, while I feel fine. Most of the food "slips through", from here they are just less likely to be overweight, but they tend to receive less nutrients.

Pitta has a good and active digestion. The resulting energy is spent just on purposeful activity. He feels hunger and thirst well, and feels discomfort with a lack of nutrition.

kapha has good, but slow digestion - it will get everything from food to the smallest detail. therefore, theoretically, it needs a small amount of food (but if there is a lot of kapha and "in the head" - there is a craving for sensory pleasures, therefore it can eat a lot because it is tasty, and not because it is necessary, hence the chances of gaining excess weight). In case of skipping food, it can spend quite a long time without much discomfort.

Vata sleeps restlessly and intermittently, gets up rather easily. It may well not get enough sleep (due to energy overspending).
Pitta sleeps at an average rate of 8 hours.
Kapha sleeps deeply, "like a groundhog", and for a long time, 10 hours in a normal state, i.e. without "debts for sleep", it's hard to get up in the morning. (This indicator is taken into account when you slept. If you go to bed at 3 and try to get up at 7, it will be hard for anyone).

Cotton wool is light, ringing, sometimes with extremes. The voice is often high, sonorous or perceived as such
Medium pitta - medium pitch voice.
Kapha is heavy and plentiful - the voice is "thick", perceived as low or sensual.

Sex

Cotton has sex "in the head" - more imagination than real action. Most likely a trend towards games, diversity. Since attention is unstable, then sexual desire is easy to switch.

Pitta is purposeful in everything. so if pitta wants sex, pitta will have sex =) intensity of experience, passion.

Kapha has sensual pleasures, tenderness. In general, kapha is always ready for sensual pleasures, although it will not go into active capture. Sex is more of tenderness and pleasure, not an adventure of vata and not the fire of passion of pitta.

Disease propensity.

This will rather show you the dosha that most often goes out of balance. But, as I wrote earlier, she is not always your leader, this must be remembered.

Vata - everything that is associated with dryness, excessive mobility or overexpenditure of energy. Dry skin, brittle hair and nails, fatigue, gas, constipation, joint pain, lack of weight, etc.

Pitta is everything that is associated with excess heat, acids and light.
Allergies and dermatitis, photophobia, eye problems, sunburn, heartburn, inflammation, gastritis, ulcers, diarrhea, acute pain.

Kapha is anything related to stagnation and fluids.
Edema, excess weight, colds, cough, sputum, all mucous and lymphatic disorders.

Psychology

And it's already yours inner world, what is "in your head" and everything that depends on it.

Lifestyle.

Vata - randomly - active. There is no clear goal, but a lot of variety. The daily routine usually does not follow, very spontaneous. Unsteady attention, but quick switching from one to another. Most of the time, they don't go into details. Although it may be something that delves into not particularly necessary details out of curiosity, but in any case, it does not get stuck on trifles. Most of the time projects are not completed. It overspends any resources, so there is often no money.

Pitta is purposeful. Activity is selective, aimed at a goal or benefit. There is a schedule, although it is flexible. There is no jamming, no particular unpredictability. He brings projects to the end, because the goal and return are important. He goes into details as they are useful. Where it is important for the result to delve into - there will delve into, where the details are not needed - there will not be. Any resources are spent for certain purposes, including money.

Kapha - calmly - measured. There is not much activity, but a great immersion in something. The daily routine is formed by itself - a habit. It's hard to pull off something new. Holds attention for a long time, delves into details well, can get stuck on them. He brings projects to the end, although slowly, but not so much because of the result, but because of the process itself, the difficulty of switching and good concentration. Any resources accumulates. Money too.

Memory and information processing.

Vata - grasps new things well and quickly, but does not keep it in his head for long.

Pitta - grasps pretty quickly, keeps in mind what he thinks will come in handy.

Kapha - slowly absorbs, but keeps in the head for a long time.

Emotionality

Vata in balance - creativity, ease of climbing, variability, light pleasant emotions.
Vata in imbalance - timidity, uncertainty, uncertainty, superficiality.
Stress response: fear and flight

Pitta in balance - purposefulness, confidence, activity, intense pleasant emotions
Pitta in imbalance - anger, jealousy, short temper, criticality
Response to stress: aggression and attack

Kapha in balance - balance, harmony, caring, deep pleasant emotions.
kapha in imbalance - attachment, stuck, stagnation, pedantry
Reaction to stress: stupor, playing dead =)

Favorite activity:

Vata is what gives light emotions and variety - entertainment, change of scenery.
Pitta - what gives results - sports activity and training to improve yourself =)
Kapha - sensory pleasures - something that pampers the 5 senses - whether it's cooking, design or camping by the campfire.

Accordingly, representatives of the three doshas will perform the same work from different motives. This important point. Because often they try to divide professions according to doshas, but professions are multifaceted.

For example, stylist
Vata in balance will creatively select different options for a person, offer him 135 options for what can be done with him, and a bunch of systems. The client may be left at a loss as to what to stop at, but he will obviously not experience a lack of information =)

Vata in imbalance will offer a vague or impractical option, without delving into the details, say "I'm an artist, I see it that way" and run to another client.

Pitta in the balance will look at what exactly the client wants from her, set a goal for herself, from the options that she sees, she will choose the one that best suits the goal, will collect detailed information specifically for it, the client will receive a finished result.

Pitta in imbalance will decide for herself where to direct the client, will purposefully impose it on him, and if he is indignant that this does not suit him, he will bark that "I am a stylist, I know better."

Kapha in balance will be aesthetic and while working, enjoy the harmony of color and lines, try to convey to the client how beautiful he is, due to which the work may be delayed.

Kapha in imbalance can stubbornly prove to you that "all women should wear a dress" (stuck) and sincerely wonder why you disagree, it suits you =)

Sight

At Vata - excitedly - surprised, "in anticipation of a miracle."
pitta has penetrating
in kapha, calmly serene.

Speech

At cotton wool - fast pace, the volume is either higher or lower than necessary, switchability, conversations on the exchange of information, likes to talk.

Pitta has a medium pace, persuasiveness, clarity, a wide emotional range, conversations with a purpose.

Kapha has a slow pace, conversations are either laconic, or vice versa "from the creation of the world" with attention to detail.

Relationships with people.

Vata usually has many acquaintances, deep and long relationship are rare. People in cotton like the fact that it is not boring with it and do not like the fact that you cannot rely on it.
Pitta has friends of the same interests - with one in a cafe, with others in fitness, with others for courses, etc. What is called friendship. People in her like the fact that she is able to provide real and necessary help, they don’t like her temper.
Kapha's friends are kindred spirits. soulmates. Deep relationships with a limited number of people. People in it like caring and calmness, do not like obstinacy.

On my example:

I myself have already written that I am Kapha - Pitta. Kapha and Pitta are approximately equal in about 40 percent, Vata is about 20, which still makes it noticeable from time to time. In appearance, all three are mixed - kapha is a little more, but pitta and vata make a fairly significant contribution. Physiology is dominated by kapha. In psychology, pitta is leading, but vata and kapha are clearly in the wings.

If descriptively - the appearance combines roundness and protruding bones, there is some angularity, but not striking, there are no extremes, the color is grayish-golden, the skin is dense, from normal to oily, the texture of the hair is medium, wavy, the muscles are thin on the arms, dense on the legs, the nails are medium bending. Physiology - mainly internal processes in kapha - voice in kapha, which I don’t notice for myself, I track only on video and voice recordings =) . Kaphin sleep, endurance is regulated by pitta - activity is always there, purposeful. Sexuality of vata and kapha, more often kapha, but vata has a strong hold. in psychology - focus on the result of pitta, with positive qualities - refinement, completion, search optimal solution, and with negative ones too - the desire to argue, criticality. All three are emotionally manifested - from vata, switchability and the ability to collect large flows of information, from pitta, understanding where I am moving and Practical activities, from kapha tenderness and moral support in relation to loved ones. From cotton wool periods of energy overexpenditure, uncertainty. From pitta - a reaction to stress - attack or irritation. kapha was not noted in the negative. the daily routine of pitta - vata - in general, there is a similarity, it is regulated by goals, but it happens that it does not exist at all. Favorite activities - are regulated by all three doshas. from kapha, sensory pleasures, there is actually a lot of it. from pitta - knowledge with a purpose. I process a lot of information thanks to my psychotype, but usually not out of pure curiosity. Vata is a little less pronounced - out of pure curiosity, there are classes, but still I try to tie them to some internal goals =) The pace of speech is average, understandable, emotional coloring - from pitta. The gaze is piercing most often. relationships with pitta people - kapha. With a close circle - kaphas (close, deep, trusting, non-aggressive), with a more distant circle - pittas (more pressure, friendly, according to interests).

Despite the fact that any person has all three doshas, the really leading doshas are striking from the side =) Good luck in determining, next time I will tell you directly about clothes for different types =)

Doshas regulate all biological and physiological processes, all rhythms and movements inherent in the work of our body. When they are in balance, a person feels good, has an excellent state of health.Disease, according to Ayurveda, is an imbalance in one, two or all three doshas.

2. - in 2 minutes you can determine your type. Knowing your dosha type, you can proceed to the recommendations in nutrition, exercises, and medications that are suitable for you.

Deciphering the Dosha test.

After passing the interactive test, you can proceed to the recommendations for your dosha. And your dosha isone that outnumbers the others , in which case you are a single dosha type. Then you should study the recommendations for this particular dosha.

If you do not have an extremely dominant dosha, then you are a dual dosha type. The most pronounced of them becomes the first, but both doshas are taken into account.

For those who hear about doshas for the first time. Dosha is one of the oldest classifications of people, prescribed in Ayurvedic treatises.

Vata (Wind)

This constitution should avoid sharp negative information, for example, horror films, violent films, heavy films are not at all desirable for them, since such information increases the restlessness of their mind and can lead to insomnia. For Vata people, association with benevolent people, warm climate, warm baths, hot drinks are very favorable. So that the legs do not freeze in cold weather, it is necessary to walk in woolen socks, do warm foot baths before going to bed, and massage the feet with oil before going to bed.

All these recommendations allow you to keep warm, which is so necessary for the Vata constitution. You can’t walk in rubber shoes for a long time, especially in cold weather; the rubber cools the feet and the energy goes out through the feet, so when the feet are cold, the whole body cools down as the cold impedes the movement of air and the circulatory system. This constitution should eat three times a day, should avoid eating dry food and food that increases the quality of the air, that is, spicy, bitter and astringent food.

The basic rule for these people is not to overstrain anywhere and in anything.

The main diseases that accompany the Vata constitution due to impaired air circulation in the body are nervous diseases, disorders nervous system, diseases of the musculoskeletal system, diseases of the bones, joints, constipation, neuralgic disorders, jumping pressure, chondrosis, arthritis, impaired motor and sensory functions and nervous depression. 83 diseases can arise from the violation of the movement of air in the body. air is the main thing in the body, because of its imbalance, both bodily fire and water in the body are disturbed.

Pitta (Fire)

Pitt's personality does not like to skip food, which makes her irritable and when hungry, a strong fire in the stomach can lead to burning in the heart area, ulcers and hemorrhoids. Therefore, Pitt personalities should not skip meals and should eat 3 times a day. Pitta's skin is prone to irritation, rashes, inflammation, and allergies often occur due to impaired immunity and accumulation of bile in the small intestine. Out of balance, these people suffer from insomnia if they are headlong into their work, which, as a rule, is the main content of their lives. The main condition for the normal existence of this type is the need for a moderate clear daily routine.

The Pitta constitution reacts very strongly to alcohol, which tastes "sour". The sour taste kindles bodily fire and this leads a person who consumes alcohol without measure to conflict situations, they themselves climb into conflicts in an intoxicated state. Smoking also ignites the bodily fire, since it is also in quality "sour" in taste. A Pitta constitution should not spend a long fast, 2-3 days are enough for fasting. This person does not need strong physical exertion, a long run on long distances, light gymnastic exercises are useful for her. Swimming is very calming for Pitt, jogging for no more than 5 minutes. Pitta-constitution can be poured with cold water, this is favorable for her. Pitt personalities have excellent digestion and a strong appetite, and therefore often suffer from overeating. For this constitution, it is recommended to drink a few sips of water before eating, in order to extinguish an excessive fire that will not allow you to eat a lot of food. Pitt's personalities mostly suffer from overeating.

All the emotions of a Pitta constitution arise from lust and dissatisfaction. Emotions of anger, anger, hatred, envy, jealousy. These emotions disrupt the flora in the gallbladder, kidneys, and Pitta people often suffer from metabolic disorders. Diseases such as ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract, stones in the gallbladder, bladder, hypertension and heart disease, skin diseases, inflammatory eye diseases, heartburn, sour belching, are related to the violation of the function of fire in the body and most of all people suffer from it. Pitt.

Kapha (mucus)

Kapha personalities should not be addicted to sweet, sour and salty tastes. sweet taste increases heaviness, creates blockages, cools the body, sour and salty tastes increase thirst and water will be retained in the body, which is why Kapha personalities often have high blood pressure, they suffer from lymphatic blockages, diabetes, accumulation of mucus in the chest cavity, diseases of the mucous nature, gynecological disorders, tumor growths. Since Kapha dosha controls the moist tissues of the body, therefore, disturbances in it affect the mucous membranes. These symptoms are especially acute in cold and damp weather, when cold, damp Kapha is exacerbated in the environment. During full moon When Kapha increases in the environment in all life forms, Kapha personalities also suffer from excess fluid in the body. Their asthma worsens, their blood pressure rises, they become drowsy, lethargic, impassive, water lingers in the body.

The main thing for this type of people is never to be inactive, that is, to constantly give physical activity to your body. Without Kapha movement, individuals can quickly become lazy and need to be pushed into action at all times. They themselves may not take the initiative, but laziness is their worst enemy. Physical activity is favorable for them, the more the better, they can be good athletes, long-distance running, weightlifting, swimming are favorable for them. If Kapha personalities are not given physical activity, Kapha will quickly increase in their body due to laziness. Movement makes it possible to maintain in the body inner fire, which, in turn, cleanses the vessels of excess mucus. These individuals, without prejudice to their health, can starve long time, up to 10 days, but they should eat no more than 2 times a day and in no case should they eat at night. The first meal is not earlier than 11-12 hours and the intervals between meals are at least 5-6 hours. The biggest mistake of Kapha personalities is eating impure food, which is heavy and only increases the quality of Kapha, so people of Kapha constitution can hardly get sick at all if they do not eat foods such as meat, fish, eggs, flour products and dairy products, as these products are capchogenic, increasing mucus and blockages in the body.

Vata (Wind)

Everything that moves in the body, for example, when a person moves his hands, or the movement of food, the movement of air currents - all this is provided by the element of vata. That is, cotton wool is the most dynamic element.

Vata governs feelings and emotions such as fear, anxiety, pain, trembling and spasms.

Wat location - large intestine, pelvic cavity, bones, skin, ears and thighs. If an excess of Vata develops in the body, it will accumulate in these areas.

In nature, autumn is considered the period of Vata, so in the fall, people who belong to this type have a lot of health problems. Every year Vata must prepare in advance for autumn. Vata energy is most activated from two in the morning to six in the morning and from two in the afternoon to six in the evening. Vatas wake up early in the morning and become restless. Before going to bed, Vatas should regularly practice breathing and relaxation techniques. The Vatas will be very wise to go to bed early. Only then will they be able to sleep during the night and accumulate strength by morning, when the first rays of the dawn sun wake them up. If possible, Vatas should take a nap during the day, between two and four o'clock in the afternoon, because during these hours the Vata energy begins to dry up and dissipate. If there is no opportunity to take a nap during the day, then in the afternoon it is necessary to reduce activity. The schedule of the second half of the day should be drawn up taking into account the decrease in Wat activity in the second half of the day and transfer all responsible events and intense loads to the first half of the day. Since the heart and throat chakras are active in the Wat, they usually sleep no more than four to six hours at night on their left side.

Good three meals a day favorably affects the health of people of this type. The first meal, or early breakfast, should take place around seven o'clock in the morning, it is useful to have a snack at noon, and a hearty lunch at six o'clock in the evening. The ideal time to go to bed is ten o'clock in the evening.

Vata should follow a set daily routine that includes time for afternoon naps, body care, mind-cleansing techniques, relaxation, and harmonization (this could be meditation, prayer, or contemplation). Vatas should not be overexerted, intense loads are contraindicated for them. Unlike the hardy and strong Kaphas, people who are of the Vata type lack stamina and strength. They are uranically capable of exploding, and their energy bursts can amaze the imagination, but these emissions are instantaneous, and for the next “burst” they will have to accumulate energy for a long time. Vatas spend a lot of energy on “flights” of thoughts and imagination, so they must learn to take care of themselves and not bring them to exhaustion. The innate ability to "fly", multiplied by unconscious aestheticism and the need for beauty, dictates the need for Vatas to live according to the principle of moderation, beauty and grace.

The physical exercises that Vatas do should be short and "soft". It can be breathing exercises, yoga, qigong, tai chi quan, aikido (especially the non-combat healing direction of ki), wushu, ballroom dancing, dance aerobics, light walks, short swimming (for pleasure and without stress), light (not systematic! ) outdoor jogging, short bike rides, playing golf, tennis and badminton, and soaking in the hot tub.

Remember: if you want to stretch the body or work out certain systems and organs with yoga, do these activities before starting any other physical exercises!

All exercises should be performed in a calm moderate pace, and the load should also be moderate, because a fast pace leads to fatigue and an imbalance in the Vata dosha. Strength exercises should be performed at a slow pace, using dumbbells and other weights.

It is useful for Vatas to perform a complex of yogic asanas with measured breathing twice a day. Since the weak point of Wat is the spine and joints, they must necessarily introduce asanas into the complex of yogic exercises that contribute to the development of mobility and flexibility of the spine.

Aromatherapy and body care

Wat is favored by warm and moist aromas rich in sweetness and sourness. To settle the imbalanced Vata dosha, the aromas of linden, verbena, lemon and orange peel, black mint, cloves, cumin, anise, marshmallow, basil, nutmeg, orange blossom (neroli), tangerine, cloves and fennel, selected in different combinations, are useful, cardamom and cinnamon.

It is useful for representatives of the Ayurvedic Vata type to regularly undergo relaxing massage courses. During the massage, vegetable oils such as sesame, wheat germ, apricot or avocado should be used, in which essential oils are added, the aromas of which have a beneficial effect on the Vata dosha. In addition to nourishing, moisturizing and rejuvenating dry skin, these oils carry harmonizing information at the cellular level and balance the Vata dosha. Vata is the queen of the doshas, and the balance of all doshas begins with the harmony of the Vata dosha! Oils allow you to keep a charge of heat in the muscles. After the massage, it is useful to take a warm bath with foam, shampoo and gel. These products will remove excess oil from the hair and body, leaving a barely noticeable protective layer, which will protect the skin from cold, drying, roughness and roughness.

Pitta (Fire)

Pitta is a combination of fire and water and is responsible for the transformation in the body. That is, if vata is responsible for movement, then pitta is responsible for various processes that are associated with the transformation of one process into another. Assume digestion. Digestion of food is the main process of transformation when food is converted into our body. And pitta is responsible for this. That is, it is a metabolic element. Therefore, the first and most important function of Pitta is the digestion of food. In addition, it is responsible for skin pigmentation, body temperature, hunger, thirst, vision (vision is also one of the functions of pitta, the function of fire in the body). And Ayurveda lists forty violations of Pitta. Pitta is also quite a mobile element, but not as mobile as vata. Accordingly, it has less tendency to be out of balance, so only forty disturbances of Pitta are given. All disorders associated with pitta are characterized by inflammatory processes.

Pitta governs digestion, absorption, absorption, dissolution, nourishment, metabolism, body temperature, skin color, eye luster, and intelligence and understanding.

Pitta awakens anger, hatred and envy.

Pitta location - small intestine, stomach, sweat glands, blood, fat, eyes and skin.

Seasonal and casual activities

The season of Pitta is considered to be summer, so in the summer, people whose constitutions are dominated by this dosha have many problems. The natural heat of Pitta under the scorching hot sun only intensifies. This is why the Pitts need to prepare ahead of time for this season and prudently reduce their activity levels.

Pitt's ideal summertime activity is spending time with family and friends near cool streams, springs and mountain lakes where you can swim. Resting in the summer on the hot beaches of the oceanic and sea coasts of Pitts is not recommended, since the skin of fiery people easily burns and becomes inflamed in the sun. If Pitts still prefer to relax on the coast, then they can appear on the beach only at sunset. Then it is useful for them to swim and jog on the beach sand.

When rage ignites Pitt's fiery fuel, the health consequences can be devastating. When unstoppable, quick-tempered and impetuous Aries rush on the occasion of their own anger and are guided by fiery passions, they deplete their energy resources and lose their vitality.

If Pitts are stressed, they must find the strength not to explode as usual, but to calm down and cool down. Pittas can achieve a state of calm and serenity when they paint landscapes, admire the beauties of nature, green meadows, fields dotted with flowers, or the sparkling smooth surface of a river. Coolness, peace, contemplation and serenity, bathing in the moonlight - all this perfectly harmonizes Pitta.

Since the time of Pitta comes from ten o'clock in the morning to two o'clock in the afternoon and from ten o'clock in the evening to two o'clock in the morning, people of the fiery constitution should try to avoid situations that provoke irritability and stress in them. At this time, it is advisable not to get angry, not to shout and not to enter into heated disputes and conflicts. The behavior of textbook Pitts is even described in books: it is Pitts who tend to arrange wild antics and emotionally explode in the middle of the day at dinner and in the evening before bedtime.

With Pitt's violent irrepressible appetite, however, they are recommended light food and weak drinks. They should not abuse spices, spicy, burning and bitter seasonings, as well as spices that stimulate the appetite and disperse the blood. They cannot drink alcohol. If Pitts follow these tips, they will stop being angry, violent and explosive.

Pitt's digestive fire is at its peak at midnight and noon. Pittas can eat well throughout the daylight hours because they have a high metabolic rate. Proper nutrition can regulate the fiery nature of Pitta. It is a kind of medicine that smoothes and calms their explosive nature and helps them to remember their cognitive selves. Therefore, Pittas must purposefully form their taste and eating habits and eat consciously.

To tame the raging fire and relax after intense mental work, it is useful for Pitts to meditate before going to bed. After six o'clock in the evening they should reduce their activity level and relax. It is useful for them to visualize beautiful landscapes in muted or pastel colors, in which the cool waters of the river rolls measuredly, sands and snows turn white, forests turn green, animals move gracefully and birds sing.

In the middle of the night, the Pitts have a burst of creative energy, but they will be wise to resist the temptation to spend the night without sleep and fall asleep at dawn. Typically, Pitts sleep for six to eight hours, and they sleep mostly on their backs. Pittas need to sleep longer than Vatas and Kaphas in order to replenish their energy reserves, which they expend heavily during the day.

When evening comes, Pitta must forget about victories and exploits. Trusting the inner wisdom of Vata and the ability to feed and warm Kapha, Pitta will be able to fully restore the lost energy and prepare for the battles of the coming day.

Pittas must learn from their air and water partners tact and courtesy, mercy and the ability to forgive, graceful grace of feelings, as well as many other humanly attractive qualities of character.

The time free from the routine struggle for self-affirmation and power becomes for Pitta a time of strengthening and healing of vital energy. Free time Pittas must dedicate charitable activities. While doing humanitarian work, Pitta learns to empathize and empathize with people. When Pitt becomes human, he loses the need to stick out and draw attention to his "outstanding" person, because he begins to understand that narcissism and vanity are ridiculous, but important spiritual qualities, subtlety and liveliness of his fiery nature.

Pittas benefit from such types of physical activity that are uniform, and not intermittent. Swimming, acrobatics, skiing, figure skating, speed skating, jogging, cross country and marathon distances, tennis, chess, hiking and mountaineering are very beneficial for their physical and mental health.

Fiery people naturally love sports. But they should always remember that sports that require a lot of energy - whether it's swimming, running, aerobics, rowing, tennis or football - can only be practiced during the cool time of the day.

During sports activities, Pittas burn off excess energy. But they must listen carefully to themselves and not allow the acceleration of metabolism in the body.

It is useful for pittas to perform a complex of yogic asanas twice a day. Pitts should pay special attention to bringing their minds to a calm, peaceful state. From yoga asanas, they are shown postures aimed at overcoming mental fatigue and relaxation.

Remember: if you want to stretch the body or work out certain systems and organs with yoga, do these exercises before starting any other sports activities!

Aromatherapy and body care

Pitta types benefit from dry, cool, sweet flavors that are slightly spicy but not tart. To balance the dosha of Pitta, it is useful to inhale the aromas of rose, leaves and young roots of bitter orange, cinnamon, vanilla, sandalwood, calamus, borneol, myrtle, narcissus, lotus, peppermint, nutmeg, arthabotris, jasmine, licorice, violets.

Kapha (mucus)

Kapha is bodily water, it holds together the elements of the body, forms the basis of its physical structure.

This dosha supports the body's resistance. Kapha - bodily water - is physiologically responsible for the biological strength and strength of body tissues. Kapha lubricates joints, moisturizes the skin, helps heal wounds, fills space in the body, gives biological strength, energy and stability, supports good memory, gives energy to the heart and lungs, and supports immunity.

Kapha is present in the chest, throat, head, cavities, nose, mouth, stomach, joints, protoplasm, plasma, fluid mucous secretions.

In the realm of the psyche, kapha is responsible for the emotions of attachment, greed, and long-term envy. Kapha also manifests itself in the desire for peace, forgiveness and love.

An excess of kapha will accumulate in the chest.

Recommendations for people with a predominant Kapha dosha

Seasonal and casual activities

On the one hand, Kaphas dream that everything happens by itself. On the other hand, before doing something, Kaphas carefully consider and weigh each step. This is due to the fact that they do not want to waste energy.

Kapha's favorite weekend activities are traveling from ottoman to refrigerator and from refrigerator to ottoman. During such journeys, they move slowly, majestically and without fuss. Having collected a full tray of food, they carefully settle on the ottoman. At the same time, they, unlike Wat and Pitt, do an excellent job with monotonous monotonous work that requires patience, effort and endurance. When Kapha has no other choice, he has to work, but in general he does not like to work. This is a paradox, since all Kaphas feel the need to help people and warm them up even when they are not asked for it. Unlike Pitt, they do not have ulterior motives that guide them in carrying out tactical tasks according to a pre-designed plan to achieve strategic goals. Kapham is pleasant to console, caress, warm and feed loved ones. Typical Kapha women are hospitable housewives who throw everything that is in the refrigerator on the table. Kaphas do not think of great rewards for valorous work, but the lack of appreciation or appreciation of their merits for a job well done offends them.

The end of winter and early spring are Kapha seasons, so all Kaphas have a lot of problems during this time. During the period of liberation of nature from the winter captivity, Kaphas should not lead a sedentary lifestyle. They can engage in activities such as gardening, gardening, sports, spring spring cleaning and cleaning, and rearranging furniture.

From 6 am to 10 am and from 6 pm to 10 pm in people of this constitution, the qualities of Kapha dosha are intensely manifested. Their energy becomes dense, heavy and earthy. They should stick to a simple and comfortable daily routine to resist "heaviness". So they can train willpower.

In order for the day of Kapha to go harmoniously, he should get up early in the morning, take a shower, do yoga and give himself physical (sports) exercise. Instead of breakfast, Kaphas should drink herbal tea. It is better to refuse morning food.

The main meal is for lunch. Lunch should be hearty, but all meals should be prepared from natural and healthy products. After lunch, Kaphams should definitely take a walk, it is enough to walk for fifteen minutes. The Kapha dinner should be very light. If he dine heavily or late in the evening, he will inevitably fall under the influence of the passive energy of the Kapha dosha dominating at that time. Most The best way for Kapha, not hurting yourself during this stressful period is to load yourself with work, preferably even outside the home. He must find himself evening classes: attending courses, participating in seminars, trainings, etc., moreover, Kaphas can be not just passive participants, but active organizers of these events.

Kaphas should get up at dawn and go to bed early. If they stay in bed after 6 a.m., they become hostages to the Kapha period (6-10 a.m.) and all their good intentions to spend the day harmoniously crumble to dust. To wake up refreshed and refreshed, Kaphas need more sleep than Vatas and Pittas, but they should not sleep more than seven hours! Alas, Kaphas usually sleep between eight and twelve hours a night and hardly get out of bed after sleep. They sleep either on their stomachs or in the fetal position.

Kapham is best eaten by the hour: from eight to nine in the morning - herbal tea, around one in the afternoon - lunch, at sixteen o'clock - afternoon tea and at six o'clock in the evening - lunch or dinner.

Kaphas always need to see big and immediate results from their work, so they are never satisfied with regular gymnastics, aerobics, or regular physical education routines. They think that such sports activities not for them. "Here and now" is the slogan of a Kapha woman when she is trying to lose weight.

Kaphas do not take up stamina and strength, but dear Kaphas, please note that you need to work very differently from the Vata types, where the physical activity should be very light, and not like the Pitta types, which are recommended moderate physical exercise. Kapha must work hard to burn fat and remove excess fluid in the tissues, disperse the blood, remove overweight, develop balance and flexibility.

Marathon distances and lifting the barbell, bodybuilding and rowing and canoeing are useful physical activities for people of this type. Those Kapha women who still manage to overcome their natural laziness and find the strength to regularly engage in rhythm, dance and aerobics will win a lot. Water polo, judo wrestling and sambo can be recommended for men who have this dosha strongly expressed.

Kapham is beneficial to do yoga twice a day. They are recommended to introduce asanas into the complex of yogic exercises, which help to normalize the activity of the endocrine glands, help to remove mucus (in particular, sputum) from the body and help drive off excess fat folds.

Remember: if you want to stretch the body or work out certain systems and organs with yoga, do these activities before starting any other physical exercises!

Ayurveda. The system of three doshas. Ayurvedic dosha test to determine body type.

Ayurveda, or Ayurveda (from the Sanskrit "āyus" - "the meaning of life", "the principle of life", or "long life" and "veda" - knowledge) - the traditional system of Indian Vedic medicine, named after one of the sacred books ( see Vedas), formed as a result of the merging of the cultures of the Aryans and Dravidians. "Ayur Veda" can be translated as "knowledge of life", "knowledge of long life" or even "science of life".

Three dosha system

According to the philosophy of Buddhism, matter consists of five basic "gross elements":
* earth (prithvi) - is a solid substance or energy packed into a substance.
* water (jala) - the principle of interaction or the liquid state of matter.
* fire (agni) - the principle of energy release from a substance or a plasma state.
* air (vayu) - the principle of the movement of matter or the gaseous state of matter.
* ether (akasha) — the substance of space, an analogue of the physical vacuum.

The "gross elements" are the only physical component of the individual, in contrast to the other four "subtle" ("mental") primary elements (nama). In various combinations, these elements make up the various tissues of the human body - dhatu. The elements are grouped into three basic fundamental life forces, the doshas, which regulate all bodily functions. A person is healthy when the doshas are in a balanced state.

* cotton wool(ether and air) - the principle of impulse, necessary to mobilize the function of the nervous system.
* pitta(fire and water) is the energy principle that uses bile to direct digestion and hence metabolism into the venous system.
* kapha(water and earth) - the fluid principle of the body, which relates to mucous substances, lubrication and source of nutrients for the arterial system.

The psychosomatic constitution (original nature) of a person given to him from birth depends on the ratio of doshas - Prakriti. Prakriti is the fundamental concept of the Samkhya philosophical system of Hinduism, meaning the Primordial nature, the causeless root cause of the Universe. Prakriti is independent and active, consists of three gunas:

* sattva- the basis of the mind, characterized by subtlety, lightness, light and joy;
*rajas- the basis of energy, characterized by activity, excitement and suffering;
*tamas- the basis of inertia, characterized by rudeness, apathy, amorphousness and darkness.

Prakriti does not change throughout life, and can be diagnosed through examination and questioning of the patient. Prakriti gives knowledge about the tendency to certain diseases. A person who knows his Prakriti has the key to his health, knows his weak and strong points and can always prevent illness by taking preventive measures (panchakarma, fasting, nutrition and regimen in accordance with Prakriti). The ratio of the elements of the human body at the moment is called Vikriti.

There are seven main types of Prakriti and Vikriti: vata, pitta, kapha, vata-pitta, vata-kapha, pitta-kapha, vata-pitta-kapha. All this affects the choice of treatment methods and the restoration of the balance of the three doshas.

Doshas are mentioned in the Rig Veda, where Indra is identified with Vata, Agni with Pitta, and Soma with Kapha.

Final scoring for the dosha test: Vata _____, Pitta _____, Kapha _____.

If one score is much higher than the rest, then that is your dominant dosha. This dosha will be most evident in your constitution if its sum is at least twice as high as the next dosha count. However, if any dosha is higher, it can also be taken as the dominant dosha.

If the score for the two doshas is almost the same, then you have a body with two doshas. For example, Vata (76), Pitta (73) and Kapha (45), then you have a Vata-Pitta constitution.

If all the amounts are the same, then you have a balanced constitution, which is rare. Better take the test again and answer more carefully.

If your condition changes all the time, for example, if you have constipation, then diarrhea, then most likely this is due to the excitation of Vata dosha.

Something about the Vata dosha
Psychological picture

An icy reflection of light behind a deer flashed by lightning; the cold of gusty winds on the rustling sands of the night desert - such is the nature of Vata.

cotton wool, driving force universe, is influenced by air and ethereal space and washes the subtle body. The symbol of Vata is the swift deer, which controls the heart chakra, and the wise elephant, the oldest of mammals, the bearer of the history of the earth, plants and medicinal herbs, which controls the throat chakra.

Type Vata is always on the other side of material ideas, concepts and ideas. Everyday life, almost on the verge of isolation. Against the background of the solidity and solidity of the earth type, Vata looks awkward, contradictory and inconsistent. In comparison with Kapha's stoic endurance and Pitta's high activity, Vata's ability to worry, worry and doubt is especially noticeable. Among its partners, Vata stands out for its high mobility and variability. This type of people gives the impression of an overseas curiosity, but appearances are often deceiving.

Unlike Kapha and Pitta, Vata has tremendous spiritual potential and can lead a deeply spiritual life. The Vata dosha is ruled primarily by the subtle body and its higher etheric plane, so the evolved essence of Vata is embodied in the energies of the heart chakra and the throat chakra. These people are capable of love, compassion and reflection. Subtlety, impressionability, sensitivity and responsiveness always indicate the presence of Vata dosha in a person, no matter what type he belongs to. A person who has evolved from the fourth chakra has a very small karmic tail. But when Vata goes astray, the consequences are very sad. During meditation, people belonging to the Vata type learn about their inherent ability to swim in the ocean of cognitive memory, penetrating through the energy channels to the sources of instinctive wisdom.

Vata people have a bright gift: they are able to experience love and show sensuality on the spiritual plane. As a rule, as people of this type mature, their physical desires fade away and deep cosmic love begins to blossom, in the invisible embrace of which the universe splashes. These people must open up and allow their extraordinary nature to enjoy the true spirit of universal sensuality. This is what will give them maximum satisfaction in the knowledge of sensory sensations.

Vata people are always at the forefront of the ever-changing game of being, but they never strive to lead the masses and lead. The nature of Vata is inherent in innate musicality. Ascetic Vatas must definitely relax, contemplate and meditate in order to get rid of the irritation accumulated after the endless noise cacophony of the day. Healing practices for Vata can be activities whose energy deeply resonates with the subtle vibrations of the Vata nature.

heart chakra, main channel connection of Vata to the universe, bathed and nourished by pure sound. Extraneous sounds, even of natural origin, prevent Vata from vibrating at deep levels, resonating with the pulsation of the universe. That's why they love silence so much. They have a unique gift to delve into their inner world, enter the world of silence, listen to inner feelings and find a refuge where only flows that are in tune with their inner energy reign.

Like the wind, Vatas are quite at home except in the niches constructed by the Pittas and Kaphas. Vata can be compared to the wind rushing through the rustling sands of the night desert, which has no top, no bottom, no beginning, no end. Vata is lulled by the sounds of the subsiding wind in the vast and eternal ocean of space.

Vata is sensitive not only to sounds, but also to touch. They are distinguished by a subtle tactile reaction, and this should not surprise us, since the skin is under the protection of air. They are soothed by a light gentle touch of natural fabrics, causing a feeling of well-being and comfort.

In order for Vata to love himself for who he is, stop criticizing, judging and evaluating himself, he will have to go through a long and difficult path of overcoming himself. Vata should not feel like white crows in a flock of the world. They only have to realize that they are endowed with the highest gift. Without this, they will never be able to find inner and outer harmony and reconcile the spiritual with the carnal.

Something About Pitta Dosha
Psychological picture

The fierce gleam of the fire-breathing dragon's eyes in the city of sparkling gems is the true nature of Pitta.

Pitta, the dynamic force of the universe, is influenced by the fire element. Pitta bathes the mental body. The symbol of fire is a ram, or ram, which with wild pressure rushes forward with its horns. The fiery energy of Pitta is concentrated in the solar plexus chakra manipura, or energy chakra. Manipura translates from Sanskrit as "the sparkling abode of gems" and the term perfectly describes the energy of Pitta.

Pitta has an enormous store of solar energy, and this is reflected in his highly intelligent and noble appearance. Like representatives of other Ayurvedic types, a highly developed mature Pitta follows the path of self-knowledge and understands his true destiny.

Pitta always demands the lion's share and usually gets it. Pittas are fierce, fire-breathing dragons. Leaving scorched deserts behind them, they furiously rush forward, demonstrating a furious pressure and inexhaustible ram energy. The uniqueness of Pitta lies in the fact that its physiological and psychological centers are located in the same central area of the body - the area of the solar plexus.

The main qualities of Pitta are energy, ambition and aggressiveness; by these qualities he is easily recognizable. Born from the energy of the universe, Pitta turns ideas into reality and makes fairy tales come true. In the end, cosmic love (anahata heart chakra) and creative imagination(throat chakra vishuddha) Vat grow from the energy of universal fire. When the dosha of Pitta is balanced as a result of conscious living, its fiery energy rises to the higher chakras.

Pitta plays the role of a catalyst, the very acceleration force that mobilizes the activity of the other two types - Vata and Kapha. Pittas enjoy absolute power, controlling any situation that arises. They are always aimed at success, and the ram's strength gives them brightness and originality. They know how to concentrate on one task and throw all their energy into its implementation. Driven by solar power, the Pitts are theatrical and spectacular, they are actors in a breathtaking performance.

The degree of individual perfection of each of the representatives of this type can vary widely. This means that for every harmonious and perfect ram there is always a sheep hiding in the bushes. Pittas live in mental balance with themselves and the world.

Pittas lose their temper instantly and unpredictably. Their irritability and anger will strike the imagination of a stranger. Pitts need to work a lot with their consciousness in order to ever understand that there are many people of different types living on earth besides them. Trying to subdue Pitta is tantamount to trying to block a forest fire. Is it often possible to extinguish Forest fires that flared up during the dry season over vast areas?

At the same time, their indomitable will is responsible for the gigantic breakthroughs of mankind in the field of science and technology. (And also for the rise of environmentally hazardous industries.) Pitta is easily recognizable by traits such as purposefulness, ambition, integrity, and authority.

If the Vatas should borrow the strengths of the self-centered Pittas, then the Pitts need to learn not to stick out their "I", stop considering themselves the navels of the earth and not overestimate their own importance. Pitts do not need to constantly assert themselves and prove that they are the central and guiding force in the interaction of people of different types. Nature favored them with this role, because it is not for nothing that Pitt has a developed manipura chakra - the center of self-expression. All people have karmic debt, so you should not upset the plans of the architect of the universe. This is the most important lesson that the Pittas must learn.

Manipura governs not only the dosha of Pitta, but also the stage of youth in the life of every person. Therefore, it is quite normal when Pitt is called a "hot head" and when he is irritable. Pitta is always unstoppable at the start line. But in a marathon, he has to slow down and look around to see what the rest of the runners are doing. After all, the center can be called the center, when there is a periphery around it, it cannot exist by itself. The vanguard is Vata and the rear is Kapha. Only when there is a team around Pitta will he be able to complete the task.

Pitts should always remember people! From time to time, the fire-breathing dragon must slow down to look at its surroundings, see individual faces and look into itself.

Pittas are endowed with the highest energy potential. If they manage to cope with their arrogance towards people, they will be able to know the secrets of the human "I". They are endowed with the greatest gift of sattvic thinking, which leads to harmony with themselves and the world.

Dynamic Pitts have a common misconception. People of this type mistakenly believe that the measure of success is material victories and conquests. But in the center of the dazzling flame lurks a gem, cooled by its own bright cold light. When Pitta learns to overcome the obstacles erected by his own ego, he will be surprised to find that life is not limited to the material plane, that in addition to material values in life there are goals and values of a different order that can and should be strived for in real life.

Something about the Kapha dosha
Psychological picture

Unshakable like a rock, solid like a stone, flowing cool like a shimmering surface of a river in the white moonlight - such is the essence of the Kapha type.

Kapha is affected by the water and earth elements - the energies of attraction and charm in the universe. Kapha bathes the body of nutrition and is located in the upper part of the human chest cavity.

Kapha is dominated by the energy of the svadhisthana chakra, ruled by Mercury. Mercury has a lunar nature that represents femininity. This primordial female force, capable of procreation, is surrounded by the male solar energy of muladhara. Healthy cheerful Kapha is under the influence of muladhara and svadhisthana - the basis of creation.

The planetary principles of the Earth fit perfectly into the nature of Kapha. Kaphas are better than others attuned to the rhythms of earthly life and adapted to survival. It was Kapha who wrote social and family rules for people. The immovable, steady and inert Kapha contrasts sharply with the air currents of Vata flying and melting in the clouds and the volcanic eruptions of the fiery lava of Pitta. Kapha has always been, is and will be, this is the law. Kapha is a frozen statue of eternity, over which time and space have no power. The energy of Kapha serves as the foundation on which the building blocks of the universe are built. The vivacity, volatility, soaring and flying power of Vata, or the fire, strength, drive and dynamism of Pitta, are supported by the energy of Kapha. The energy of Kapha is fundamental, like the archetype of Mother Earth is fundamental.

Kapha energy symbolizes late winter and early spring for all living organisms. Kapha cleanses the blood and dirt of everyday life, revealing life-giving purity and freshness. Kapha personifies the basic and continuous life process, without which there can be no home, no children, no family. Being the mother breast of the planet, she warms and feeds Vata and Pitta, who go to her to replenish their strength. Kapha resembles a calm and well-fed cow grazing in lush green meadows. Kapha's talisman is a prehistoric elephant that bears the burden of earthly suffering. Kapha embodies our origins and the motherly, feminine nature of all things.

Kapha is a classic combination of stoic grace, serenity and sensuality. Kaphas are very soulful and unsinkable. Kaphas have a stable and grounded nature that allows Vatas to fly freely and perform the feats of Pitts. Kapha gives its partners the opportunity to live and enjoy life here and now.

Kapha is found on the physical and astral planes. In the human body, Kapha accounts for up to eighty percent of the total weight, and on the planet - fifty percent. That is why people in whom this dosha predominates are so strongly attached to the material world. This causes huge problems of the earthly order. Kaphas always overeat and have a very possessive instinct. Being Kapha means being possessive.

Kaphas need large spaces and open spaces that offer fabulous views and vistas. In order for them to perform overwhelming Herculean tasks, they need fresh air and certain conditions for life. The fertile energy of Kapha should flow freely. There are usually three requirements for a Kapha house: convenience, practicality, and great wealth.

Kaphas must give up hoarding, possessiveness and hiding "for a rainy day." They should not identify themselves with their property, even if acquired through righteous labors, but be content with only the most necessary things. Alas, for the Kaphas, this is an almost impossible task, because it is difficult for them to decide what the “essentials” are. But if they keep one-fourth of what they own, then even then they will not live as ascetics. Kaphas are never poor, and this is understandable: you need to have a lot of milk to feed Wat and Pitt.

These solid people with glossy faces are endowed with a pronounced ability to "cool down on the run", lose incentives, lose interest in what only recently aroused their enthusiasm and enthusiasm. Kaphas love to lie low so that no one pulls them and does not call for anything.

Uncontrolled gluttony, omnivorousness and greed lead these people into a lethargic state. In seasons of vulnerability, Kaphas must carefully control the desire to "pull the blanket over themselves" and "put a paw" on everything that the eye sees. If they do not heed this advice, they will gain even more weight already overweight, because they are very inert. Kaphas do not know what a flight of imagination or an all-consuming fire of passion is, therefore their energy is not wasted and does not burn out, but is spent carefully and economically. But with all the inflexibility and steadfastness of their nature, Kaphas sometimes still manage to move away from the stereotype, although for this they must overcome themselves.

The element of svadhisthana is water. When Kapha muddies the purity of its waters and stumbles, it often sinks into deep waters of disappointment, depression and melancholy. When Kaphas sink to the bottom, then from the builders of the universe they become its active destroyers. In the space of depression, or the space of Pluto, many types of malignant tumors are born.

In order to fully live every day, Kaphas must strictly adhere to a strict daily routine and not allow themselves to be discouraged by internal conflicts. Water people cannot afford such a luxury as accumulating resentment, anger and keeping their inner world in disarray. Like the waters of rivers, the waters of Kapha should always remain clean, clear and fast. Stagnant waters are the first enemy of Kapha.
