XX anniversary military-historical festival "Field of Kulikovo" will be held in Tula region from 15 to 17 September 2016.

The brightest events of the historical holiday in honor of the 636th anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo will be held on Saturday on the Red Hill of the Kulikovo Field. Participants of the military-historical festival will revive for all of us the annalistic pages of the history of the Mamaev battle. Six centuries later, the soldiers of the Moscow prince Dmitry Ivanovich and the army of Mamai will again converge on the Kulikovo field, Peresvet will fight with Chelubey, armed cavalry and foot army.

Reconstruction can be viewed for free, sitting around the perimeter of the "battlefield". It is also planned to place spectators in the stands. Since on that day the museum was placed at the disposal of organized groups, we didn’t get inside, but we climbed to the observation deck, from where a beautiful view of the autumn Kulikovo Field opened.

Traditionally, the festival program started on Friday. The organizers and ideological inspirers launched the concert, which delighted with a sincere and patriotic song until midnight. The first festival day ended with a requiem meeting with a torchlight procession to the tomb of the unknown soldier.

The rich program of the second day included competitive auditions, the work of a literary cafe, and the continuation of performances at main stage, And entertaining workshops such masters of the genre as Boris Shcheglov, Yulia Ziganshina, Alexander Evstigneev, the founder of the "Baklushi-beat" group Alexander Pevny.
