Intellectuals with a Scandinavian accent

The group was formed in early 1982 by three college comrades: Morten Harket (he became the leader of the band and vocalist), Magne Furuholmen (keyboards) and Pal Vaaktaar (this guy got the guitar). All the musicians managed to play in various Scandinavian groups until they offered their joint project to the world market.

And the experience of the musicians was not slow to tell. In addition, it was a very "intelligent group": attractive appearance of the guys, soft musical manners, coupled with exotic Scandinavian accents. These guys simply did not have a chance to fail. And they started hitting hit after hit. One of the first - "The Sun Always Shines On TV" - immediately reached the top of the English charts and hit the American Top 20. After that, the musicians went on a world tour, while not forgetting about creativity. The hearts and ears of millions of European listeners were conquered by such hits as: "Train Of Thought", "Hunting High And Low", "I" ve Been Losing You", "Cry Wolf".

Disbanded due to 007

In 1987, Pal Vaaktaar became the author of the soundtrack for the next series of the famous Bond film. The film industry has tightened the guys. In 1989, Morten Harket, however, did not write a music track, but starred in leading role in the movie Kamilia And The Thief. Inspired by such individual successes, the guys decided to pursue a solo career. However, failure was waiting for each of the musicians on this path, and they realized that without each other they simply could not cope with competitors.

So, in the late 90s, an updated trio A-Ha appeared. The musicians spent the whole day in the studio, which gave birth to their "creative fruit" - a quite solid album "Minor Earth / Major Sky", which sold over a million copies.

You will certainly hear songs from this, others and the "fresh" presented album "Cast In Steel" if you spare no effort to press a few keys on your computer - in order to order on our website tickets for A-Ha.

Today, at about 19:52 Moscow time, the legendary Norwegian band a-ha began their last concert at the Olimpiyskiy.
The previous "last" concert from 2010 can be viewed.

Perhaps it was one of the most unfortunate of my concert filming. The light was complete shit, plus the photographers were put in the devil knows where - between the fan zone and the VIPs in a tiny nook.
Therefore, most of the pictures look only in b / w. A click opens the original color.

Usually they put it in front of the stage, the cameras filmed three songs and dumped it - this was the case, for example, at a concert in the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg on March 10.

In general, on the one hand there is a fan zone, on the other hand there are VIPs and a cloud of evil guards - move 10 centimeters, you are not here, we hate you!
She asked where such a hype comes from and why everyone is so angry - is the president going to a concert and that's why everyone is in the mane?
No answer... Human robots with an aggressive program and a built-in janitor syndrome...

While waiting for the artists to come out... duck-duck...

It is not visible here, but there was no full house, as last time. The hall is filled with 60-70 percent.

It started.

Magne Furuholmen is sincerely glad to everyone.
By the way, 54 year old guy, handsome.

The light was blue, so sorry, b/w.

Nugdezheruchkinoydezhevyourhandles.

Right now, I’ll tell you one smart thing, but don’t be offended ...

Didn't say. He sang a lot of hits from the past years and a couple of songs from the new Cast in Steel album.

I have a question, sorry for the intimacy.
Here in this T-shirt Morten Harket performed in Kazan, Yoburg and St. Petersburg. Does he have several or does he wash them regularly in the sink?
I'm inclined to believe that there is a new one for every concert.

He also knows how to mysteriously look up, but not very much with vocals - he sang one of the popular songs instead of Morten. Did not like.

Voktar-Savoy for some reason this time without dark glasses.
And the most terrible bluish light is a must-see.

What do we choose in the end? b/w or color?

The famous Scandinavians, the Norwegian band A-ha, delight fans again. Now the musicians are working on their tenth studio album "Cast in Steel", the release of which is scheduled for September, and later they plan to go on a 12-month world tour in support of the record. There is great news for the Russian admirers of this stylish band, the trendsetters of musical fashion will come to Moscow. Therefore, tickets for A-ha are waiting for everyone.

A-ha also plans to participate in the anniversary Brazilian Rock Festival in Rio, where in 1991 the talented debutants played their hits amazingly at the Maracana Stadium in front of 198,000 spectators. And in general, how time flies, it turns out, "Take on Me", the single that made them famous all over the world, they first sang three decades ago. But time has no power over A-ha, Morton, Paul, Magne are all charming and charismatic, and their compositions are invariably beautiful.

"Cast in Steel" is the band's first album since 2009's successful "Foot of the Mauntine". The musicians say that the pause in joint work benefited them, gave them the opportunity to engage in others interesting projects, slightly lower the degree of attention to them. Their current mood is close to the one with which they started in the 80s - only instruments, songs, voice. The fact that Alan Tarney, who worked on the first three albums of A-ha, is producing the new record, also speaks of a return to the roots. As always, they will have something to surprise them with: new, softer sound, unusual compositions. The band's fans are looking forward to the release of the new album.

A-ha's concert in Moscow will be held at one of the largest metropolitan venues. Tickets for the A-ha concert are already on sale. If you want to become one of the spectators of the group's performance in Moscow, book tickets for the A-ha concert right now.
