The Moscow Festival Charm of Jazz 2017 is an opportunity to see young representatives of vocal and instrumental jazz who professionally manifest themselves not only as soloists, but also as leaders of their own ensembles. All participants will demonstrate their own projects, with which they successfully tour the cities of Russia and abroad.

The Jazz Friends Choir of the Moscow College of Improvised Music will perform as a special guest. artistic director- Vladimir Sidorkovich. In the main part of this large group, excellent vocalists sing. The choir performs jazz a cappella, which is rare for the capital.

The youngest participant is the violinist Daria Eibushitz. According to Anatoly Kroll, “I took on a very difficult and unusual mission. Despite her young age, her performance has a high jazz authenticity and penetration into the genre.”

Jazz was never considered women's business. However, the practice of Russian jazz proves the opposite. The Charm of Jazz festival annually gives an opportunity to hear the most talented and wonderful performers representing the “face” of the Russian jazz scene. Each of the participants of the festival has long won the love of the public and the respect of professionals with their work. Not without reason light hand festival producer, People's Artist, bandleader and composer Anatoly Kroll, the project received its motto: “We love their jazz! We love them in jazz!”

The idea of this festival is to show the new generation jazz performers who act not only as soloists, instrumentalists, but also as leaders of their teams.

The festival program is attended by well-known jazz singer Anna Buturlina, Victoria Kaunova, named by Anatoly Kroll "one of the best jazz voices in Russia", as well as the winner of a number of international festivals, leader of the AllSeeBand group Olga Sinyaeva. Yuliana Rogacheva, the only Russian woman awarded the title of laureate of the most prestigious European jazz competition in Montreux (Switzerland), will perform accompanied by Alexei Chernakov's jazz quartet. Natalia Smirnova-Butman is another young rising Russian jazz star, pianist, vocalist, arranger and composer.

Of course, without the name of Alevtina Polyakova, this list would be incomplete. A charismatic performer, Alevtina Polyakova will enchant the audience not only with her soulful vocals, but also with her virtuoso trombone playing and incendiary improvisations. The surprise of the program will be the appearance on the stage of jazz violinist Daria Eibuschitz. The violin in jazz has never been traditional instrument. This phenomenon is especially unique for Russia. According to A. Kroll, “Daria took on a very difficult and unusual mission.
