Dmitry Nagiyev was born on April 4, 1967 in Leningrad in the family of Lyudmila Nagieva, a philologist and associate professor at the department foreign languages at the Military Academy of Communications, and Vladimir Nagiyev, who dreamed of becoming an actor, but worked all his life at an optical-mechanical plant.

After the army, Nagiyev entered the Leningrad state institute theatre, music and cinematography. By the way, during the years of study in it, Dmitry acquired the feature that all fans now consider his chip - a signature squint. After graduating from the institute, Nagiyev went to work at Radio Modern, and at the same time earned money on DJ sets in various St. Petersburg clubs. By the way, Dmitry's career on the radio was very successful: he was recognized several times as the best presenter in the country.
First film roles and steps on television
In the late nineties, Dmitry Nagiyev played his first leading role in the cinema - the Chechen field commander Dukuz Israpilov in the film by Alexander Nevzorov "Purgatory". At the same time, the actor began to take his first steps on television, which later fascinated him more than cinema.
