More girls visited the "Combination" group than the famous "VIA Gre". But this is more of a plus than a minus. Then, in 1988, when show business was just in its infancy, the relationship between the participants musical groups were completely different. No one quarreled with each other and the fans were not divided. "Combination" was no exception: the girls just sang good songs and enjoy life.
The history of the group began in 1988 in Saratov. At that time, cars, jeans, chewing gum and tape recorders had already begun to be imported, from which the voices of popular Western bands were increasingly heard: "Bad Boys Blue", "Fancy", C.C. Catch. There was only one similar group in the country - Mirage. It was after her performance in Saratov that two friends, Vitaly Okorokov and Alexander Shishinin, came up with the idea to organize their own musical group.
The friends decided that only women should be in the group. Shishinin sold all his valuables and began searching for participants. He found many girls right on the street. As the soloist of the group Tatyana Ivanova recalls, one day Shishinin met her friend Natasha on the street and offered a place as a soloist. She refused, but called Tanya, who immediately arrived. According to Ivanova, she sang only one song and was invited to a rehearsal.
One participant was not enough, and then Vitaly Okorokov remembered his old friend from the conservatory, Elena Levochkina, better known as Alena Apina. And soon three more members came to the group: Inessa Topiani, Olya Akhunova and Zosya Kostyko. When the team was completed, the future stars went to the capital to record their first album.
Widespread fame
According to the members of the team, everything was very serious in Moscow. The girls were placed in a hotel and strict rules were established. It was forbidden to smoke and drink alcohol, and at 11 pm the rooms were locked with a key. Many of the girls were underage, so Shishinin had to give his parents receipts that nothing would happen to them. The producer was responsible for them with his head.
The name of the group was also given by Shishinin. Why exactly "Combination", still no one knows. The producer's answer was always short: "For everyone to ask." In 1989 the group recorded their first album "Russian Girls". The song "Russian girls" instantly became a hit and conquered the country. So unknown girls from Saratov woke up famous.
The first difficulties began when the group began to give concerts. Star status required stylish clothes and a beautiful appearance, but this was very difficult to implement. In 1988-1989, a terrible deficit reigned in the country - there was neither money nor goods. Therefore, costumes had to be sewn from everything that was at hand. For example, from curtains. But, according to Apina, the difficulties brought the girls closer.
The concert tour of the cities of the USSR was a resounding success, so the producers of the band decided to move on. In 1991, their second album "Moscow registration" was released, which was even more popular. Songs such as "American boy", "Accountant", "Love leaves slowly" became popular hits and are relevant decades later. According to Evgenia Sinitskaya, a member of the Slivki group, at one time Combination made a splash. Their songs and behavior were so free that it shocked the Soviet public. For many, the group has become a real revelation.
From the side of the team members, everything looked a little different. Alena Apina once admitted that her friend, TV director Roma Butovsky, gave her a video cassette with the first performances of "Combination" for her birthday. After the singer looked at them, she sealed the cassettes and said: "Open after my death." According to Apina, it was terrible. In these performances there was nothing but puppy enthusiasm.
However, the Soviet public, hungry for freedom, accepted the group with a bang. And she sang along with the girls all over the country: "American boy, I'll leave with you, I'll leave with you, Moscow goodbye!"
Last years
A lot has changed in the 90s. Alena Apina left the group, Alexander Shishinin died as a result of an armed attack. According to Tatyana Ivanova, despite the fact that their trip to America was canceled due to Apina's departure, the girls did not blame her. Their friendship was so strong that it took precedence over emotions. Apina met her future husband in Tashkent and decided that she needed a change. In the future, she made a good solo career.
Instead of Shishinin, Alexander Tolmatsky became the producer. The group changed its line-up several times, but Tatyana Ivanova still remains its permanent vocalist. In the 90s, already without Apina, "Combination" recorded three more albums: "Two pieces of sausage" (1993), "The most, the most ..." (1994) and "Let's chat" (1998).
Tatyana Ivanova is still touring with the group in the cities of the CIS, delighting her fans with immortal hits. Perhaps the popularity of "Combination" is due to the fact that it evokes nostalgia for playing cards, cool cherry nines, discos and first kisses in the yards.
According to Ivanova, men often say that they grew up listening to her songs. It seems that you can’t say such a thing to a woman, but on the other hand, there is something to be proud of. And the members of the group see the secret of their success in luck: they just happened to be at the right time in the right place.

We met with her on the eve of the anniversary and listened with pleasure to her women's story.

Only he did not find me, but my friend Natasha. She has stunningly beautiful legs. Sasha Shishinin, apparently, selected according to external data and only then asked: “Can you sing?” Natasha did not know how to sing and called me. I arrived on the same street where Sasha and I met. And now I have been singing for almost 30 years. By the way, I was in the 10th grade then, I was only 17 years old.
- If everything started to spin for you so early, why after school did not go to study as a singer, but at the polytechnic?
The parents insisted. Well, it's like everyone else: first, they say, get a normal profession just in case, and then do songs. I thought to get musical education, but there was no time: they worked out 30 concerts a month - what kind of study is there?

- Popularity, crowds of fans, huge halls ... But there was no feeling that you were doing, to put it mildly, garbage, one-day music without a melody and with stupid words? It's like with shops: there is a flagship boutique, where everything is beautifully arranged, branded items are sold, and there is a conditional Cherkizovsky market, where dubious clothes, from which threads stick out from everywhere.
I understand what you mean. Well, we're not exactly consumer goods. We were horses, we worked hard. Of course have classical music, jazz, but even in restaurants people want to dance and sing along to the artist. By the way, Vitaly Okorokov, who wrote all our songs, graduated from the conservatory, wrote musicals, symphonic music was fond of. It is clear that “Combination” with its hits about sausage and accountant is not high art, but, in fact, music for the feet. Philosophical thoughts in the texts of our songs should not be looked for - the task was different. We were sung by the people, all these hits were created for fun. We ourselves laughed when we sang.

Not the worst choice! Of course, what I sing at 45 is not the kind of music that should be listened to in Concert hall named after Tchaikovsky. But not everyone can play the classics? And, you know, over our songs, it happens, and serious, smart people cry. So, it takes for a living, it means that all this is not in vain ...
The tragic death of Shishinin in 1993 is perhaps one of the most high-profile murders in show business. And perhaps the most mysterious. So it's not clear what really happened?
Lots of versions. But the killer has not yet been found and the case has not been solved. Alas, in those years, such episodes were the norm. And we will probably never know the truth about many of these tragic episodes.
Five hours on the operating table
- With Alena Apina, the second main soloist, how did your relationship develop?
She was a little older than me, higher musical education. Of course, Alena looked down on me at first, but then we became friends. I didn't care who sang with me. At the age of 17, my maximalism went through the roof. I didn’t take criticism at all - I was a kind of prickly hedgehog.
- When there are only women in the team, is it probably a complete nightmare: envy, jealousy, distrust?
The main thing is that tastes for the opposite sex should always be different. We've got it like this. Therefore, there were no serious reasons for squabbling.
- What did you spend millions of fees on?
What are you talking about?! We did not see any millions - we just sang and got high from the stage. In Moscow, they rented one apartment for everyone. Then the housing was like a dressing room: they flew in, changed clothes, washed their clothes and left again. And so for years. I bought an apartment 10 years ago. Before, it wasn't really necessary.
- Until recently, I had a strong feeling that the "Combination" group was finally blown away at the beginning " zero". And it turns out you're still performing.
We have five concerts a month. Not the saddest numbers. It is very important that you have your own audience. And she is only ours. We don't chase success VIA Gra and don't compare ourselves to SEREBRO. We have our own history, and porn clips, like those of young girls, are of no interest to us or our fans.
- But you want to be young and beautiful even at 60!
Certainly! Thanks to the 10 Years Younger program. They completely upgraded me. I myself was thinking about plastic surgery, and here is such an interesting proposal ... Now I feel and look like 30 years old - no more.
- What have they done to you?
Full tuning: circular face and neck lift, chest, stomach removed. The operation took five hours. It can't take that long, of course. We just had this situation. The time frame of the transfer is limited, which is why it turned out to be such an extreme. I had to split it in two or three. And so - wild pains and long "acclimatization". But I don't regret a bit - it's worth it. Of course, I was afraid, but nothing happened. To lie under the surgeon's knife, and even on your own, not everyone will agree.

- Is it true that Apina introduced you to her husband?
Yes. My husband is businessman Elchin Musaev. Originally from Baku. By education he is a dentist. We have a wonderful daughter Masha. She is 18. Alena is her godmother. Recently, Elchin and I celebrated the 20th anniversary of our life together.
- Did you have a big feast or rushed together to the islands?
Got married! The secret of our union is luck. If Apina had not told me then “Do you want to good boyпознакомиться?" Or I would have refused to meet him. I don't know if I would be THIS happy now with someone else... It's a pity that we have one child. But thanks to the Lord and for this - it might not have turned out to be a daughter.
- Is it true that before Musaev you had a beautiful affair with Vadim Kazachenko?
We lived together for a year. And I'm not worried about breaking up. Two canaries in the same cage do not sing. As a rule, little good can come out of the marriage of two pop stars. Talented and artistic men have a monstrous character. Vadik was no exception. Then it seemed that we had some global problems overdue. And now, looking back, I understand: these problems were absolutely childish. Haven't talked to Vadik for a long time. What for?
- You are quite frank. So is Apina. You need to have the courage to admit to the whole country that a surrogate mother gave birth to a child!
This is true. Alena is a good guy. She always said: “In our country it is impossible to do otherwise, there will definitely be a kind person who will tell, whisper.
Many are against surrogate motherhood. There are a lot of kids in orphanages - why not give some of them happiness?
But what about genes? Normal people will not leave their child! Aspen will not produce oranges.
In the early 90s, the Combination group was considered almost the most popular in the Soviet Union. The band's songs with obvious social overtones are still heard in discos. This year the team is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and in this regard, in the studio of the Hello, Andrey! gathered the most famous of its members.
So, the guest of the program was Alena Apina, who is still actively performing throughout Russia. Tatyana Ivanova, who is considered the permanent soloist of the group, also appeared on the program. Women admitted that through the years they were able to carry not only love for music, but also friendship.
"We are very close friendly relations almost family. We are happy to meet on the set, perform together, often communicate. Even our daughters are friends, ”said Apina on the air of the program.
However, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the group, even those members of the “Combination” gathered in the studio, about whom nothing had been heard for a long time. Svetlana Kashina, who replaced Alena Apina in the team, now lives in her native Nizhny Tagil. She has two children and works as a teacher at a local music college.
“I think if I had not left Moscow, I would not have had children. So then I made a very good decision. I live modestly, like most citizens of our country. However, I am not ashamed of it. I am very proud of my work and family,” said Kashina.
The singer left the group a year after the producer of "Combination" Alexander Shishinin was brutally murdered in the entrance of his own house. Despite the fact that law enforcement agencies have been investigating this case for many years, the perpetrators have not been caught. On the air of the program, a hypothesis was put forward that the man had a premonition of his death, and therefore, shortly before the tragedy, he tried to buy a weapon.
Another member of the legendary team, Yulia Kozyulkova, now lives in Italy. She married local resident and never regretted that she had changed popular popularity to simple female happiness.
“I work as a dental assistant. I specially traveled to the city of Genoa to study for this specialty. The doctor I work with knows about my musical past, so he constantly asks to play some compositions, our old clips, for his patients. My husband and I met when he arrived in Saratov, met for just a month, after which we got married. I didn't have a fancy wedding dress, but there was love, ”recalls Julia.
Keyboardist Svetlana Kostyko now lives in Saratov. She left the group in 1992 and now works for hometown librarian. The woman stressed that sometimes she misses her former popularity and her friends from the team, but is still pleased with the way her life has turned out.
"I arrange book fairs I give books to children. I have a liberal arts education, where else should I go? Yes, I stayed in my native Saratov, this is how life turned out, but I am satisfied, ”Kostyko emphasized.
By the way, very soon the Combination group will go on a big tour, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of concert activity. Fans of pop stars hope that they will be able to collect the entire previous line-up and perform their favorite hits more than once.

Ivanova came to the audition and was immediately accepted into the group.
Vitaly Okorokov invited his friend from the conservatory, Elena Levochkina, to the group, and although she had much more serious plans for the future, she agreed. The conservatory had to be abandoned, but the resounding success on stage soon convinced her that these sacrifices were not in vain. So the singer Alena Apina appeared.

Soon 3 more members came to the group, and "Combination" began its concert activity. Okorokov wrote the music, Shishinin wrote the lyrics. When asked why the group got that name, the producer answered briefly: “So that everyone asks.” In November 1988, "Combination" went to conquer the capital. The girls were 16-19 years old, and the director had to leave receipts for their parents to let them go to Moscow.
In 1989, the song "Russian girls" conquered the country. The tour of the cities of the USSR was an incredible success, the girls gave 60 concerts a month. In 1991, the group released another album - "Moscow registration", which became even more popular: the songs "American boy" and "Accountant" are still remembered by everyone.

Taking advantage of the resemblance to Tatyana Ivanova, the girl presented herself as the soloist of the "Combination". Because of this, she was dragged into a scam: the bandits decided to create a fake group and make money on tour in the provinces. In addition, doppelgänger famous singer used to find out necessary information from a wealthy businessman. When he found out about the deception, he strangled the girl with a guitar string and threw her out of the window of her house.

And in 1993, another criminal story took place: the director of the group, Alexander Shishinin, was killed. At the entrance of his house, he was attacked by an unknown person with a knife and struck him several times. The man died from massive blood loss. The killer was never found. According to rumors, shortly before this, Shishinin received threatening calls - he was persistently offered cooperation with a well-known production company, but he refused.
