Today, the songs and composition of the Quest Pistols Show group are known to everyone who is at least a little interested in modern domestic show business.

But in 2007, no one could have thought that the April Fool's performance-prank of three young and outrageous dancers with the composition "I'm tired" would grow into a mega project - the Quest group Pistols Show regularly changing its concept, but not losing popularity.

Group Quest Pistols Show 2018. New composition relevant for today.

About all members of the Quest Pistols Show group

The history of the group began in 2004. It was then that choreographers Anton Savlepov, Konstantin Borovsky and Nikita Goryuk founded dance group Quest Pistols. They defined their style as "aggressive-intelligent-pop". The guys performed quite successfully in front of the Kyiv public, but there was no talk of real popularity yet. Then the producer Yuri Bardash sent Anton and Nikita to vocal lessons, and Borovsky was assigned the role of rapper.

The breakthrough occurred on April 1, 2007, on the Chance project, broadcast by the Inter TV channel, a cover of Long and Lonesome Road by the Dutch band Shocking Blue sounded. The performance instantly received 60 thousand messages in support, and the composition "I'm tired" occupied the first positions of the main domestic charts for a long time.

In September of the same year, in Belgium, the Pistols performed the "Dance Against Poison" program in support of a healthy lifestyle. Many do not believe, but "quests" do not consume alcohol and nicotine, and actively promote vegetarianism. They also don't listen to club music and don't go to savory establishments.

The success of the guys from Quest Pistols was overwhelming. They did not have time to give interviews, and their photos constantly flashed in Russian and Ukrainian glossy tabloids. In 2011, fans were alarmed by the unpleasant news that Anton Savlepov was leaving the team, but this information was soon refuted. Around the same time, Konstantin Borovsky announced a change in status and a transition from soloists to curators, and another participant joined the guys - Daniel Joy (Daniil Matseychuk).

In 2013, Kostya Borovsky and Matseychuk left QP to create the boy band KBDM. Although critics have spoken of creative crisis The Quick Pistols continued to tour as a couple, and were soon joined by an incognito masked member.

Initially conceived as a trio, the group has grown to five members in 2014. Washington Salles, as well as Ivan Krishtoforenko and Mariam Turkmenbayeva joined the team. Soon Daniil Matseychuk returned to the team. But the main laurels still belonged to the trio of founders: Goryuk, Savlepov and Borovsky, and the newcomers remained behind the scenes for some time. And only when an updated title appeared and the group received a new name Quest Pistols Show, information began to appear about a change in concept and sound.

Today, the team prioritizes a high-quality visual image, vivid images and choreography honed to perfection. The opposite images of the participants create the impression of a dance battle, but despite the unusual format, the new tracks turn out to be very harmonious and memorable.

To date, Quest Pistols has three full-length albums in its luggage

  • In 2007 - "For you";
  • In 2009 - "Superklass",
  • In 2017 - "Lubimka".

The team is the owner of the Golden Gramophone and MTV Europe Music Awards. "QP" has repeatedly submitted an application for participation in the Eurovision Song Contest: once from Russia and twice from Ukraine. In 2009, the selection failed due to the fact that the composition "White Dragonfly of Love" was already being broadcast on radio and TV in violation of the rules. In 2010, the group applied for participation in Eurovision in Oslo with the song "I am your drug", but the guys failed to get into the list of finalists. In 2011, another unsuccessful attempt was made.

Konstantin Borovsky (Crutch)

Konstantin was born in Chernihiv on February 14, 1981. Before moving to Kyiv at the age of 16, he was engaged in ballroom and folk dances, but in the capital he was captured by such a popular trend as breakdance. Actually, thanks to this hobby, his vocal career in Quest Pistols began.

Konstantin has a diploma in philology, knows several languages, but does not regret at all that he devoted his life to dancing. In addition to the craving for choreography, Kostya also discovered the talents of a designer and stylist. In Quest Pistols, it was he who designed the scenery and costumes for soloists and ballet, and was engaged in staging dances. The band's official website is also his creation.

In the fall of 2011, Borovsky announced his decision to leave his career as a vocalist and fully focus on the activities of the director-producer. But after a while, the young man left the team, together with Daniil Matseychuk, launching a new project "KBDM".

On this moment Konstantin is engaged in the promotion of his brand BRVSKI, plans to act as an expert in the popular reality show "Super Model in Ukrainian" and performs together with the "Agon" group, which united the founders of "QP".

Anton Savlepov

Anton was the youngest member of the first cast of the Quest Pistols Show. He was born in 1988 on June 14 in the small village of Kovsharovka near Kharkov. As a teenager, he loved Michael Jackson very much, and in order to be like an idol, he even grew himself the same long hair.

At school, Anton was an excellent student, so his relatives predicted a serious academic career for him. But the young man became seriously interested in dancing and met Nikita Goryuk at the break dance festival. At the same time, he entered National University culture and arts of Kiev to the choreographic faculty, but due to the creative breakthrough of "Fast Pistols" classes and sessions had to be shelved.

In 2013, Savlepov, under the pseudonym Zorko, released a solo disc of the same name. In the Quest Pistols Show group, he performed until the beginning of 2016. Then the leading soloists began to leave the band one by one, and newcomers began to take their place.

Anton was invited many times to various TV shows, including the popular program Big Difference. In 2016, together with Konstantin Meladze, Andrey Danilko and Yulia Sanina, Savlepov tried on the role of a jury member of the 7th season of the X-Factor talent show. He also managed to star in the humorous musical "Like Cossacks" and the romantic comedy "Wedding by Exchange".

Like all members of the first QP line-up, Anton is fond of vegetarianism, tattoos and drawing. The guy also likes rare bikes, yoga and Indian culture.

After leaving the Quest Pistols show, Savlepov, Borovsky and Goryuk united again, founding the Agon pop group and recreating the first line-up of QP, beloved by everyone. Talented guys have already recorded several new songs, including "Every man for himself" and "Let go."

Therefore, when the team needed a new infusion, the trio, without hesitation, called an old good friend. Moreover, like all the participants, the young man was a supporter of vegetarianism and a healthy lifestyle.

As part of the group, Daniel stayed for several years. In 2013, together with Konstantin Borovsky, he created creative association"KBDM", which includes not only musical group, but also his own clothing brand, and the club project KBDM DJ's. Matseychuk does not like to talk about his personal life. For a long time he hid his girlfriend, but recently it became known that the couple lives together.

Hits of Quest Pistols

The next hit after the sensational cover "I'm tired" was the composition "White Dragonfly of Love", which collected a record number of views on Youtube video hosting. Interestingly, at the very beginning of the creative path, the pop trio's repertoire consisted of only 3-4 songs, and this was clearly not enough for full-fledged concerts. The guys found a simple way out: first, "Pistols" rocked the hall with their dance numbers for about half an hour, and then performed the songs they had in stock.

By 2007, the repertoire expanded, and the debut album "For You" saw the light of day. Almost all lyrics were written by the leader musical group"Dymna Sumish" by Alexander Chemerov under the pseudonym of Izolda Chetkha. The only composition of the period 2007-2012, written by another author, is "White Dragonfly of Love" by the novice musician Nikolai Voronov. Works over late years belong to the pen of the soloist of the group Nikita Goryuk.

The list of other well-known hits of the Quest Pistols Show group includes the compositions “Days of Glamor”, “Cage”, “He's Near”, “Revolution”, “I'm Your Drug” and “You're So Beautiful”. Thanks to them, the album "For You" received gold status in Ukraine.

In 2011, the first change in the line-up took place and Daniil Matseychuk took the place of Borovsky, who took part in the recording of such video works as "Different", "Romeo", Let's Forget Everything" and "You've Lost Weight" (with Lolita Milyavskaya). Around the same moment, Anton Savlepov wanted to leave the team, but after the release of the video “You are so beautiful,” he changed his mind.

In early 2014, popular tabloids increasingly began to write that the team was in a creative crisis. At the same time, Nikita Goryuk released his solo track "White Bride". Many predicted that the group would cease to exist. But Goryuk and Savlepov continued to tour together, presenting to the public new single Baby boy. And a little later they appeared to the public in a completely new role and introduced new participants. The presentation of the new line-up was marked by the release of a cover of Igor Siliverstov's 1992 composition "Santa Lucia".

November 15, 2014 with the premiere of Quest Pistols Show team went on a world tour. The concept of the show became the basis new philosophy group, which later led the Quest Pistols group to the format of a show project performing dance, club house music.

On November 13, the premiere of the video with the solo performance of Mariam Turkmenbayeva "The Alien" took place, and on December 31, returning Daniil Matseychuk (Daniel Joy) presented the clip "We Know for Sure".

In April 2016, at the premiere of the video "Dissimilar", fans saw the group in the format in which it performs to this day. September 1 came out new clip“Coolest of all”, and in October the team performed at a large-scale solo “Unlike Concert” and presented their first album “Lubimka” with a renewed line-up.

The audience enthusiastically accepted the new compositions of the Quest Pistols show, which focuses on the quality of the choreography. And despite the fact that the vocal component still does not reach the level of the "pistols" of the first line-up, the members promise the fans to keep their former provocative and slightly vulgar style and make their live performances no less bright than before.

On November 27, 2007, the presentation of the group's debut album "For You" took place in Ukraine. The disc, which became "gold" in terms of the number of sales, did not receive a single negative review. In May 2008, the disc was presented in Russia.

In September of the same year, the artists went to Belgium for a festival dedicated to healthy lifestyle life. There the guys presented their program "Dance against poison". It may be hard to believe, but the musicians do not drink, do not smoke and adhere to the principles of a healthy diet.

Soon a video for the song "Days of Glamour" appeared. The clip was filmed in Kyiv by an Asian director and producer Philip Lee. According to the scenario, "pistols" with the help of a chainsaw destroyed branded items of world brands and thereby made it clear that "the days of glamor are numbered."

Soon the guys presented their third video for the song "For You" (directed by Philip Lee). The plot was simple, but very funny and funny. The video shows ... the shooting of the video "For you"! That's just instead of a real film crew - cute kids. In the video, you can also see rare video cameras and hangers with second-hand clothes.

In early September, the Quest Pistols delighted fans with another video. The video for the song "Cage" was directed by Vladimir Yakimenko. In it, the anti-glamour trio tried to express the meaning of the song through dance. Immediately after filming, the aggressive pop idols of our time went on a big tour around the cities of Ukraine.

In October 2008, Quest Pistols took part in the MTV Ukrainian Music Awards, which took place in Donetsk, and became the best in the Debut of the Year nomination. Moreover, the musicians will represent Ukraine at the main European musical ceremony MTV Europe Music Awards, which will be held on November 6 in Liverpool.

Kyiv artists will also take part in international competition dance songs from Europe and the Mediterranean - "Eurodance 2008". They will present their hit "I'm tired" in a remix from 2 Special & FDR to the audience. The Trinity views the competition as a "rehearsal of sorts". The guys are planning to shock everyone with their performance at Eurovision 2009. According to the guys, Russia and others
the countries participating in the competition will remain absolutely shocked by what they saw.

At the beginning of their career, the scandalous trinity - Kostya, Anton and Nikita - performed in Kyiv as a show ballet Quest. For three years, the team conquered the Ukrainian public with their original productions for pop stars, causing a lot of noise, but this was only the beginning.

April 1, 2007 became significant date for the group, since on this day the guys performed in the Ukrainian TV program "Chance" in a new role. Cover version of the hit
Shokin' Blue "Long and lonesome Road" performed by Quest literally blew up the airwaves. The audience very quickly gave the song the name "I'm tired." This prank brought the band 60,000 TV votes and made the Quest Pistols famous. The song immediately became the leader in the number of downloads on the Internet and listening.

Debut Clip Quest Pistols "I'm tired", directed by Evgeny Opanasyuk, was released in June 2007. The video immediately got into rotation on MTV.

In September 2007, the artists performed in Belgium at a festival dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, with their program “Dance Against Poison”. Incredibly, the guys do not smoke, do not drink and eat healthy food.

Quest Pistols presented their debut album "For You" in Ukraine at the end of November 2007. The disc became "gold" in terms of the number of sales, and received only positive reviews. In Russia, the disc was presented in May 2008.

Shortly thereafter, a video was made for the song "Days of Glamour". The video was filmed in Kyiv under the direction of Asian director and producer Philip Lee. One of the brightest episodes of the video can be called the destruction of branded items of world brands with “pistols” using a chainsaw, by which the artists hinted that “glamorous days are numbered”.

After some time, the musicians presented the third video for the song "For You" (director - director Philip Lee). Despite the simplicity, the plot turned out to be quite funny and funny. The video is based on ... the filming of the video "For You"! However, instead of a real film crew, cute kids performed. The video uses rare video cameras, as well as second-hand clothes.

Another video Quest groups Pistols appeared in early September. The video for the song "Cage" was filmed by director Vladimir Yakimenko. Here, the anti-glamour trinity tried to express the content of the song with the help of dance. At the end of filming, the aggressive pop idols of our time went on tour around the cities of Ukraine.

In October 2008, the MTV Ukrainian Music Awards ceremony took place in Donetsk. Quest Pistols became the best in the "Debut of the Year" nomination. In Liverpool on November 6, at the main music ceremony in Europe MTV Europe Music Awards, the musicians had the opportunity to represent their native Ukraine.

The disc became "gold" in terms of the number of sales, and received positive reviews. The group also records a cover of Nikolai Voronov's meme song "White Dragonfly of Love", the video for which becomes a Youtube hit.

New line-up: 2011-2013

In 2011, Konstantin Borovsky left the group, and Daniil Matseychuk took his place. The new line-up included such video works as “You Lost Weight” together with Lolita Milyavskaya, “Different”, “Forget Everything” and “Romeo”. Daniil leaves the group in 2013. Later, Kostya and Daniil organize the KBDM musical group and the clothing brand of the same name.

Format change: 2014-2016 - present

From June 2013 to April 2014, the group toured as part of two soloists - Anton Savlepov and Nikita Goryuk, as well as a mysterious member in a mask, but already in April 2014 the line-up was replenished with new heroes. They were the Brazilian Washington from Rio de Janeiro, as well as Mariam and Ivan.

On November 15, 2014, the premiere of the dance show - Quest Pistols Show took place, with which the musicians went on a world tour in January 2015. The concept of this show became the basis of the group's dance philosophy, which subsequently led the group to the show project format and name change to Quest Pistols Show.

On March 8, 2015, an EP titled "Soundtrack" was released. The album released new songs of the group, which determined its modern sound - dance, club house music.

At the beginning of September 2015, Daniil Matseychuk returns to the group.

On November 13, the premiere of the video clip for Mariam's solo song "Alien" took place. On December 5, the band performed at the Moscow Crocus city hall with the Futurismo show program.

On December 31, the premiere of the video clip of Daniel Joy (Daniil Matseychuk) for the song "We know for sure" took place.

On January 3, 2016, Anton Savlepov left the team. Around the same time, the original trio, consisting of Anton Savlepov, Nikita Goryuk and Konstantin Borovsky, decided to get together again and appeared before the public as the Agon group.

On September 1, the group presented a video for the song "Coolest of All" together with Open Kids. Also announced a big solo concert"Not similar Concert" 4 November.

Eurovision

The group applied for participation in Eurovision once from Russia and twice from Ukraine. At first, the group wanted to go to Eurovision 2009 in Moscow and represent Ukraine, but the group was not among the participants in the qualifying competition from Ukraine. She also tried to pass the Russian selection with the song "White Dragonfly of Love", but due to a violation of the rules (the song could not be performed until October 2008), Quest Pistols were not allowed to the Russian selection competition, which caused regret both from the group itself and from the author this song.

In 2010, the group tried for the second time to get to the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo with the song "I'm your drug", but again it was not on the list of finalists. In 2011, Quest Pistols applied for the third time to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku from Ukraine, but this idea also turned out to be fruitless.
