Deadlines for submitting documents for budget places under the bachelor's and specialist's programs

The main part of applicants choosing bachelor's or specialist's programs will be able to start their admission from June 20. Terms of enrollment: until what date to submit documents to the university

The rules for admission to universities provide for two waves of admission to the bachelor's and specialist's programs.

• First wave of enrollment provides for 80% of the filling of budget places. In order to get into it, documents and a statement of consent to enrollment must be brought before August 1. The order for the enrollment of the first wave, as a rule, is already formed August 3rd and is freely available.

Deadlines for submitting documents to the magistracy (budget places)

Master's degree is the next step higher education. After bachelor's degree, the student has the right to apply for a budget place in the university. The end of the specialist's program, unfortunately, does not provide for such an opportunity.

It is better to clarify the deadlines for submission at the selected university, since each educational institution has its own, but in any case, it will be necessary to submit documents no later than 10th of August.

Admission to the magistracy is always on a competitive basis. Entrance tests for each university are individual, so check the information on the websites of the educational institution. Universities are required to provide all information for applicants to the magistracy before June 1st.

Approximately at August 20th there will be enrollment orders. It should be noted that there are very few state-funded places in the master's program. And if you fail to get into the list of lucky ones on the budget, then you will still have the opportunity to enter on a contract basis (for paid education). The procedure for admission to institutions of higher professional education, approved by the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science No. 2895 of December 28, 2011, provides for applicants the opportunity to enter 5 universities at the same time, as well as choose up to 3 specialties or directions in each of them. Applicants, at their discretion, can submit both originals and photocopies of documents, and for members of the selection committee there is a direct ban on demanding the original of the certificate or diploma, as well as other documents not included in the list. It is most optimal to submit photocopies to each of the selected universities: this will allow in the future to timely submit the original document on education to educational institution, in which the applicant enters the competition, and not waste time to pick it up from the office of another university.

Annual acceptance of applications for admission to the first year begins no later than June 20, and ends depending on the type of entrance examinations accepted by the university:
- if necessary, passing additional exams of a creative or professional orientation - July 5;
- if the university conducts entrance examinations on its own - July 10;
- upon admission solely on the basis of the results of the Unified State Examination - July 25.

How many universities can I apply to

The applicant has the right to apply for admission to 5 educational institutions in three specialties. When applying to different universities at the same time, it is allowed to provide photocopies. Leave the originals for the priority specialty. If an applicant has special enrollment rights (target direction, victories at university competitions), the corresponding copies become invalid - the originals are submitted only for one direction.

The order of admission for the winners of the Olympiads

Victories at university or all-Russian Olympiads give schoolchildren enrollment benefits. At the same time, it must be remembered that such a privilege can be used upon admission to only one direction in accordance with the third paragraph of the 71st article of the Federal Law on education.

What documents are needed for admission to the university

Submission methods

Differences of the 2016 admission campaign - cancellation of priorities, statement of consent to enrollment (relevant in 2017)

The procedure for admission to the university in two waves

Meanwhile, instead of the entrant No. 95, the entrant No. 96 was enrolled at the faculty of chain-link mesh on August 3.

Applicant No. 7 decided that he also wanted to go to MGIMO and that he, perhaps, had a chance to get there in the second wave. He came to the university on August 4 and also applied for the withdrawal of documents, hoping that they would be given to him within two hours. But since the enrollment order had already been signed, he was now waiting... waiting... waiting...

Situation #3

Applicant No. 95, who at first decided to wait for the second wave of enrollment at MGIMO, suddenly thought “what am I changing my native Mukhomransk for!”. He took the documents from MGIMO and again took them to the fence-building institute, handed over the originals and consent to enrollment to the selection committee. But it turned out that applicants No. 22, 58, 59, 60, seeing that they enrolled those whose USE results were much worse, decided to take a chance and also brought the original documents and consent to enroll! You may well be enrolled in the chosen university in the first wave, even if you are not included in the list of those recommended for enrollment. If you enter a university after the 11th grade of school, then in most cases you must pass the Unified State Exam (USE). In some cases, along with the exam, you may need to pass additional entrance tests:

6. Who can apply without exams?

Without entrance exams, the following can enter the university:

7. What is "targeted learning"?

Some universities conduct admissions for targeted training in specialties included in the list determined by the Government of the Russian Federation.

9. How is enrollment going?
