They perfectly executed drawings with a simple pencil. And these works excite, delight and bring pleasure. Is it possible to adopt their technique and learn to draw in a similar way? Of course you can! But how and what is needed for this?

  1. First, let's talk about why you should pay attention to this direction.
  2. The next important issue that we will focus on is the secrets of drawing.
  3. And let's complete this excursion into the world where black and white images reign with a small but pleasant gift.

Monochrome pencil drawings

Speaking of the greatness and genius of everything simple, one cannot but recall the ordinary pencil. Who among us is not familiar with him and did not hold him in his hands. All of us have been good at it since childhood. Of course, for beginners, for very tiny children, it seems that it’s so easy to pick up a pencil and start “creating” scribbles.

But the child grows, and he sees that the range of application of the pencil is huge, and you can use it in different ways. Someone builds cities, bridges and houses for them on paper. Another - lays a route for them on the map world travel. And the third writes poetry or draws a portrait of his beloved.

That's how easily and simply the pencil entered our lives and became our assistant and friend. And the pictures drawn with a pencil are already a whole trend, stylish and having their own unique charm.

Their distinctive feature is that they are absolutely universal. Therefore, their possibilities are endless. Drawn with a simple pencil, they are:

  • Suitable for any age. And small children are interested in looking at them, and adults like to use them in their posts on social networks.
  • There are no limiting criteria for their use. It will be interesting for girls and boys to exhibit similar beautiful pictures as a status or give them to your friend.
  • They can be copied or it is easy to learn how to perform (copy) yourself.
  • Different nature of images. These can be cute pictures with cute fluffies, they can be funny and funny, or they can look like photographs.

And most importantly, the pencil drawing is incredibly attractive and convincing. It can decorate not only your profile on a page in social networks, but also the morning and the whole day with pleasant memories.

Drawing options for simple images

The biggest secret to why pencil drawings are fun, original, and eye-catching is that they look like they're alive. Everything is drawn so realistically and accurately that it seems that people are about to speak or laugh or cry, and objects can be taken and used.

Why are they so cool and everything looks so natural? What revives them? Take a closer look, through light strokes it is noticeable that the master thought over not only the accuracy of the lines that convey the image and silhouette, he paid special attention to one tiny nuance, thanks to which the images are not only beautiful, but almost material. What is this? Light and shadow.

Masterfully working on chiaroscuro, the artist achieves an apparent volume. Before us, as before, are simple black-and-white pictures for sketching. But when a shadow appeared, for example, from a curl falling on the face, or on the table from a vase, everything suddenly came to life.

Can you do the same? Do you want to learn? Do you want yours to look realistic? Then you are right to visit us!

Master class: Decorative composition "Flowers" with a step by step photo.

Master class on drawing with fingers using toothpaste.

Author: Natalia Alexandrovna Ermakova
Lecturer, Municipal Budgetary educational institution additional education children "Children's art school named after A. A. Bolshakov, city of Velikie Luki, Pskov region.

Hello dear guests!
Drawing with toothpaste is an unusual kind of creativity that reveals artistic ability child and brings him great pleasure. Such fun also calms, relaxes. Helps the child to get rid of their fears, to become more attentive and kind, to reveal their internal potential, develops visual memory, spatial thinking and the ability to figurative thinking. Smells control mood, soothe overexcited nervous system, improve performance.

Description: work can be done with children 8-9 years old, simplifying or complicating the task. The material can be useful to parents, educators preschool institutions and teachers of additional education.

Purpose: such works can decorate the interior of the premises, as well as serve as a wonderful gift for relatives and friends.

Target: creation of a decorative composition "Flowers"

Tasks:
- to teach children the technique of working with multilayer toothpaste;
- to improve the skills of building a composition;
- to teach the child self-expression, the ability to manage emotions.

Material:
- a sheet of A4 paper
-toothpaste two types (different color combinations)
- flower sprayer
-watercolor paints
-brush number 3
- colored pencils
- jar for water
- napkins (for fingers)

Master class progress.

We start by drawing flowers, presumably we will have three main ones, around which the whole composition will be built. We will draw with fingers, one-time strokes. To do this, take a three-layer toothpaste (blue-red-blue) and squeeze a small drop onto your finger, you can simply press your finger against the paste and lightly press on the tube. Select the starting point - the center of the flower and make strokes in different directions. Each stroke is done once, and for each new petal, a new drop of paste.

Picturesque embossed petals with different shades are obtained. We do all the following strokes around the central ones, trying not to mix them.

We do the second flower differently, we draw large petals, and on top of them we draw smaller ones - the second row, it will be in the center of the flower. For each petal, a new drop of toothpaste.

Daisies will be drawn in the same way, but with a different two-layer toothpaste (blue and green).

Placed flowers, add leaves.

We draw simple leaves with two strokes. We draw large leaves from a simple shape, adding strokes along the edges and connecting them in the middle.

Then we work with a palette (sheet of paper), mix the toothpaste, each separately.

We add color spots with lilac color from the palette, draw with a finger using the "poke" method.

Here is the composition. As the toothpaste dries, it loses its brightness, so I recommend varnishing. You can use hairspray, it is not so toxic and less safe to work with children, it dries instantly.

In fact, drawing with toothpaste is an extraordinary activity. It is impossible to stop, literally rest your soul and body. For people who love experiments, thirsty for creativity, I propose to continue and complicate the work.
Next, we will draw on a damp background, for this we use a flower sprayer, abundantly cover the entire surface of the work with water. The advantage of toothpaste is that the composition will remain unchanged. Plentifully, not afraid to pour green color between inflorescences and leaves, we work with watercolors and a brush.

The embossed edges of the flower arrangement will direct the paint in the right direction, or stop it in time.

In some places I pour in red and a drop of black, also on a damp background. I add yellow tints with my finger.

Now I work with a brush, I paint with black watercolor paint petal outlines.

If desired, you can supplement the work, draw the details with colored pencils. Drawing with them on a wet background creates the effect of working with watercolor pencils.

The children and I really like this technique, here are a few more options for compositions drawn with toothpaste.

There are artists whose animals and birds are the main characters in their drawings and paintings. They are called animalists. The word "animalist" comes from the Latin word "animal", which means "animal". But drawing animals is not so easy. Because animals can't pose. The animalist has to diligently observe and study their habits and character. The artist begins his work with sketches, sketches and sketches from life of living animals, birds, fish, and long-term work is usually carried out from stuffed animals or from photographs.
Animal artists try not only to achieve resemblance, but also reflect in the drawings the character inherent in the depicted animal or bird, they try to convey the individuality of the animal.

One of these artists folk artist Russia Victor Chizhikov - the author of the Olympic bear cub Mishka, the mascot of the XXII summer Olympic Games which took place in Moscow in 1980.

He designed the books of Marshak and Barto, Chukovsky and Volkov, Mikhalkov and Nosov. For half a century, his illustrations appeared in the magazines "Funny Pictures", "Murzilka". More than one generation of readers has grown up on his drawings, full of sunlight, humor and joy. One of the artist's favorite themes is the image of cats.
Wonderful illustrations were drawn by Viktor Chizhikov for Andrey Usachev's book Planet of Cats. The artist gave his characters - animals features that are characteristic of people.

There is a cat planet somewhere.
There cats, how people live:
Reading newspapers in bed
And they drink coffee with cream.
They have apartments and cottages,
Cars and other comforts.
They love to fish
And they take the children to the resort.
They fly to overseas countries.
Find diamonds with a fist.
Planting tulips in the flower beds
They even breed dogs.
Luxurious life on the planet
Cats, cats and kittens!
But these strange inhabitants
Always sad about something...
How many good toys!
How many records and books! ..
Here there are no only cats at cats.
Oh, how sad we are without them.
(Andrey Usachev)

And we have no time to be bored, we begin to draw a fluffy kitten.

Practical work.

We apply a stencil of a cat figure in the middle of the album sheet.

We dip a dry sponge in yellow paint and fill the silhouette with color with printing movements. We start with the head, then the body, then the tail.

It turned out a spot - the figure of a kitten.

In orange, with a small broom, draw small strokes along the contour of the figure in the direction of growth of the kitten's fur.

Select the muzzle, paws, breast and cheeks.

We draw stripes on the tail, sides and head of the kitten.

With a brush, draw the eyes, nose and mouth of the kitten, paint on the mustache and eyebrows.

You can draw the background yourself. You can depict a kitten on a summer lawn. We will also draw grass with a broom, flowers with a brush, clouds with a sponge.

The drawing is ready.

Good day, Dear Parents. Today we will talk about how to teach a child to draw in stages. You must understand that this method is the most accessible for young children. We will consider age-specific features, as well as the basic rules and methods for reproducing some paintings using special algorithms.

What are the benefits of drawing

  1. The child develops fine motor skills.
  2. The drawings reveal the worldview, convey emotions and feelings.
  3. The child develops his own mind.
  4. When a child draws, there is an active development of the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Thus, he, in fact, plays and shows his creative inclinations.
  5. Promotes the development of visual skills, speech, memory, touch and thinking.
  6. The process allows you to develop discipline, self-organization and perseverance.
  7. The kid gets used to finishing what he started.
  8. Drawing can be seen as a way of relaxing pastime, which is replacing active games.

A step-by-step way to create drawings

Step-by-step drawing is a method of depicting drawings, which makes it possible to do this sequentially, following simple instructions and diagrams. First you need to teach the child to draw simple drawings and then move on to more complex ones.

Often, even adults find it difficult to understand how to draw a particular creature or object. Knowing how to do this using simple geometric shapes will make the drawing process much easier and simpler. That is why this method good for teaching children.

When I was little, my mother bought me a special book step by step drawing. I didn't buy this for my son. Somehow it turned out that my child immediately began to draw entire compositions without thinking about anything for a second. I received and still receives great pleasure from this process.

Learning at home

First you need to take care of the acquisition necessary tools to create the first masterpieces of the child. For this you will need:

  • high quality album
  • soft simple pencil;
  • good eraser;
  • a set of colored pencils;
  • diagrams for step by step drawing.

Don't be surprised that this moment so few fixtures are needed. Better first it’s a matter of introducing the baby to drawing with pencils, and only then move on to crayons or paints.

You also need to take care of the presence of a comfortable table, chair, good lighting. When class begins, eliminate all distractions and irritants.

It is necessary to remember the observance of certain rules in the learning process:

  • haste is a bad adviser;
  • you need to make every effort;
  • it is necessary to try to depict the drawing in the same sequence as indicated in the diagram;
  • you need to reproduce the picture, thinking and remembering your actions, so that later you have the opportunity to do it yourself, without using diagrams;
  • the first work should be fairly easy and simple to perform, then you need to consistently move on to more complex tasks;
  • remember that you can not complement the drawing of the baby. Your actions will only upset him.

Teaching kids from 3 to 4 years old

  1. For a child of 3 years, it is necessary to select only soft pencils. This is due to lack of pressure.
  2. We show the baby how to hold it correctly. If necessary, we help with our own hands.
  3. Remember that children at 3 and 4 years old are not yet able to confidently hold a pencil, and, therefore, draw straight lines. Therefore, at first you will have to practice doing just that.
  4. For children of this age, it is recommended to purchase special printed notebooks in which you can trace the finished pictures.
  5. The next stage is familiarity with simple geometric shapes. We draw a triangle, a circle, an oval, a rectangle, a square.
  6. As soon as the child has mastered the geometric shapes, and they began to work out for him, we proceed to their transformation into new objects. For example, from small circles and a rectangle, you can create a bus.

We meet children from five to seven years old

  1. If the baby, who is already 5 years old, was previously familiar with simple techniques drawing, then you can simple pencil move on to a set of colored ones, also to felt-tip pens or paints. Explain to the baby that his image can be decorated by giving different colors to certain objects.
  2. At the age of 6, a child will be able to learn how to create compositions and whole plots in his paintings.
  3. At this age, children can be asked to draw on a piece of paper everything that they notice in everyday life.
  4. If a daughter or son has questions in creating paintings, you must always pay attention and try to find answers to them.
  5. A child at the age of 7 will already consciously convey his emotions with the help of drawings.

Examples

I bring to your attention a plan of four phased drawings. Start with the simplest - a tree or a rose, and in the end, try out the method of step-by-step drawing of a person. You will see that creating such pictures is not so difficult, any child will cope with the task.

Draw a tree

Tell the child that it should consist of a trunk, leaves and branches.

  1. Draw the trunk, note that it is much wider at the base than at the top.
  2. Think about what kind of tree you are depicting. Remember that, for example, a birch trunk is quite thin, has bends, and an oak is massive.
  3. Now we need to add branches. Note that they are wider at the base. You also need to understand that they are larger from the bottom of the trunk. It must be remembered that the branches of a tree begin to grow from about a quarter of its entire height. Branches are depicted directed towards the sun, that is, raised up.
  4. Try to draw small ones on thick branches, add realism to your drawing.
  5. For the first time, you can not draw each leaf, but depict the crown with one mass.
  6. Now you can color the resulting tree.

Create a rose

  1. We draw a smooth line that will be the stem of the plant.
  2. Draw leaves on the stem.
  3. We draw an oval. This will be our future bud.
  4. Inside the oval we depict the main petals, there are two of them. We draw so that the middle of the petals resembles a folded roll.
  5. We finish the small side petals.
  6. All that's left is to add color.

We draw a cat in stages

  1. Let's draw the head in the form of an oval.
  2. Now you need to draw a triangle in the center of the circle. This will be the nose, above it there are two circles on top - eyes.
  3. We draw a muzzle, add two arches that originate from the spout.
  4. Now you need to do the body. For this purpose, draw an oval.
  5. Draw the paws, add the tail.
  6. Now let's add two triangles, placing them on the head. These will be the ears.
  7. Inside each resulting triangle, add one more.
  8. Adding mustache.
  9. The cat is ready, it remains only to decorate it.

Draw the first man

Such an object is quite complex, and it is better to leave it in the end when getting acquainted with a phased drawing.

However, it is worth knowing that after obtaining certain skills in phased drawing, even such a drawing will not seem heavy and will be easily recreated by a child.

  1. For the image of the head, draw a regular oval.
  2. Now, directly under the drawn oval, you need to add a rectangle. This will be part of the torso, from the waist to the head.
  3. Next, you need to connect the drawn parts. This is how you get the neck.
  4. Under the rectangle, draw another one, the same width, but more oblong in length.
  5. The resulting rectangle must be divided into two halves, these will be the legs.
  6. Next, you need to depict the arms by drawing thin long rectangles along the upper torso.
  7. Now you can dress the resulting little man. Let's add a neck for a sweater, depict trousers, shoes and hands.
  8. Adding facial features, ears.
  9. Here is the man. It remains to give it brightness, decorating it.

Now you know how to teach a child to draw. The main thing is to be patient and do not put pressure on the baby. It will be ready when the time comes. Try to explain his mistakes as much as possible, remember that you can’t interfere in the work of children and make any adjustments to it.

Preschoolers love to draw. At the age of 4-6 years, the kid has already mastered the basic skills of handling a pencil, felt-tip pens, brushes and paints. How to teach a child to draw at 4, 5, 6 years old is simple, but realistic drawings, what step-by-step schemes to use, what to stock up for the creative search of the baby and how to teach him to create plot pictures?

We will try to answer all questions.

The benefits of drawing for children

Many parents have heard about the benefits of drawing.

Drawing for children 4, 5, 6 years old helps:

  • stimulate fine motor skills;
  • develop speech;
  • correctly formulate thoughts, put them into sentences;
  • express yourself;
  • assert themselves;
  • develop a creative approach;
  • develop attentiveness, perseverance, diligence.

Among other things, drawing is capable of:

  • give positive emotions;
  • strengthen the memorization of the material;
  • give a signal to parents about the complexes and problems that the child has;
  • overcome the fear of starting work from scratch;
  • lay the foundations of aesthetic perception.

You can get a lot of benefits from drawing if you conduct classes correctly. The main thing is not to overdo it and not discourage the child from wanting to draw anything at all and ever.

What to buy a child for drawing

The key to good drawing lessons is the correct preparation of the process. Children do not like to wait, and if a creative impulse happens, you need to be 100% ready:

  • Paper. Take sheets of A3 format. Children at 4-6 are only developing their eye and, carried away by drawing the head of the beast, they forget to leave room for the body.
  • Simple pencil. Children use it to create basic contours. Take it marked HB, it does not crumble and is not too greasy.
  • Eraser. This is an indispensable thing for erasing unnecessary borders and dashes. You can buy, or you can make an exclusive one, using special plasticine. For one thing, remember classes in "plasticine modeling" - which is not bad for a variety of activities.
  • Colored pencils and markers. The wider their palette, the happier the child.
  • Sharpener. Do not save, buy a good, professional one. So the kid will not be angry that she does not sharpen, breaks the rod, etc., but will draw with pleasure.
  • Wax crayons. They are good for painting contours.
  • Paints. If the baby is 4-5 years old - this is gouache. At 6 years old, you can give your baby watercolor. These paints are transparent, lively, but require certain skills.
  • Brushes. Select large (for background), medium (for wide lines) and small (for drawing outlines). Choose the diameter of the shaft the same as that of a writing pen - the child's fingers will begin to prepare for the inscription of letters and numbers.
  • Jar for water. You can use a regular glass or buy a special one.
  • Palette. The child will certainly need to mix colors.
  • Colored crayons. Who knows, suddenly inspiration will visit a child on a walk?
  • Soap and towel. No matter how neat a child is, if he works with paints, they will have arms to the elbow, and cheeks, and nose. You really believe.

When everything is bought, carefully consider the creative corner of the child:

  • Lighting. The place for drawing should be well lit - no one needs vision problems at such a young age.
  • Availability. The child should get all the art supplies without getting up from the chair.
  • Practicality. Make sure that all surfaces are easy to clean and that the child is able to clean up after themselves.

When everything is ready, you can get to work!

How to teach a child to draw trees step by step

A tree is the simplest drawing that can be taught to draw a child even at 4 years old, using as a basis step-by-step scheme. Depicting trees with straight lines and geometric shapes the baby is familiar. Let's complicate the task and add realism to the tree. Here is how we will draw a deciduous tree:

  1. Draw a tubercle, above it - a circle and connect the two objects with straight lines (this is the trunk).
  2. Draw a smile on the circle that will pass through the top points of the straight lines. Draw branches to it.
  3. Make the edge of the crown uneven, highlight the places where the branches enter, draw the trunk and grass on the tubercle. The tree is ready!

By the same principle - from simple schematic outlines to the desired contours - draw a spruce and a birch, as shown in the following pictures.

It is convenient that the trunk and branches can be drawn with a pencil, and the child is free to create the crown as he wishes. Fingerprints, brush strokes, pencil strokes. In any case, the tree will turn out alive and real.

How to teach a child to draw animals step by step

For drawing animals with children 4-6 years old, use the same method. Draw the frame using geometric shapes and give it a shape.

Let's explore this point with an example. best friend human-dog:

  1. Draw a circle and an irregular oval - this is the head and torso of the dog.
  2. Connect the two roundness with smooth lines - this is the neck.
  3. Add a snout and tail.
  4. Draw an ear and paws.
  5. We paint over the ear, draw the nose, eyes and tongue, add the contour of the second pair of paws, erase unnecessary borders - the dog is ready to guard the yard!

The yard can be drawn around the dog later. Add a house, a booth, a fence - and the plot drawing is ready!

According to the principle of a dog, try to portray:

  • kitten
  • duck;
  • horse;
  • pig.

If the kid wants a horse on the run, just lift the front of the body higher when drawing and “bend” the front legs of the horse at the knee, let the mane and tail flutter in the wind.

How to teach a child to draw a person step by step

One of the first desires of a child is to draw mom, dad and himself. At first, these are stick men, but this version of a baby at 4 years old will not suit, and the angular little man ceases to seem good drawing already at 5 years old. And the child also wants a person to do something on paper.

Let's try to draw a boy about to play chess:

If the child is seriously interested in drawing people and what you offer him does not suit him because of disproportion, show little artist the following diagram:

Here are the proportions of people different ages, the child may be interested in this, and he will try to draw a real proportional person. This information is relevant for children 6 years old.

Autumn landscape - step by step drawing for children

The easiest way for children 4-5 years old to paint is to create a landscape.

Let's take the autumn one - it is the most colorful:

  1. Do not force a 4 year old to draw. Doesn't want to - replace the drawing. Bored? Try switching his attention to . For him, drawing can be a passed stage, and he fulfills himself through other activities.
  2. If a kid at 5-6 years old has completely “draughted”, distract him from his favorite pastime or introduce elements of such games into his gatherings for an album. The baby should develop harmoniously.
  3. Talk to your child about his drawings. A simple “wow, beauty” is not enough. Ask what is happening in the picture, why everything is so, and not otherwise - the baby will be pleased with your attention.
  4. Do not compare the work of the baby with one sample. The sun can be represented by a hundred various ways. Do not instill in your child a complex that this is not how he will succeed, encourage the individuality of his work.
  5. Keep the child's work. And he is pleased, and in old age you will have something to see and remember.
