Then the team filed another lawsuit, and Netievsky filed a counter one.

After the courts passed, Sergei was nevertheless reinstated in the director's position, and the class action lawsuit was declared illegal. But why then did Sergei leave? - Your lawyers said that last summer some kind of conflict arose in the "Ural dumplings". What was the reason for it? class="_">

– Indeed, we had different opinions about where to move the show. I think every project should be updated. Since 2009, as a producer who brought the show "Ural dumplings" to STS, I have been constantly involved in the formation and updating of the project: graphics, scenery, shooting techniques, editing, etc., to make it relevant and modern.

A loud conflict in the "Ural dumplings" flared up more than 20 years after the creation of the team.

I had different proposals for the "Dumplings" development. For example, for everyone to do their own project, or to do a project with young comedians, who, for starters, should be included in our show, shoot a documentary and Feature Film s. But the guys did not accept these ideas, and we had creative and organizational differences.

- Can you decipher what you call "creative differences"? class="_">

– We have always discussed development issues with the whole team. As a result, we decided to take a break, tried to discuss our differences, and in the spring I learned about the first lawsuits.

- Sergei Isaev, when they announced the break in relations with you in the fall, he stressed that you were very busy with your projects in Moscow. class="_">

- I really have projects that I have long dreamed of realizing. And during this pause, I began to make them more active. But I have always been involved in both "Ural dumplings" and my own projects.

- I was told that the disagreements were not only creative, but also financial. class="_">

- Of course, where there is television creativity, there is also finance.

- Do you know Alexei Lyutikov, who runs the Ural Pelmeni Production company? class="_">

- Yes, familiar. He joined me at First Hand Media in 2014 as an executive producer. And I entrusted him with the production of the show "Ural dumplings", taught and showed how and what to do, shared the secrets and experience of creating the show, which had been accumulated over five years. He was with the company until the fall of 2015. But then we had disagreements with him, because I was not satisfied with the quality of his work on the creation of a new project "Fathers and These".

- They say that it was Alexei Lyutikov who became the starting mechanism of the conflict. Allegedly, he persuaded Sergei Isaev and other members of the team to produce a show without you. This is true? class="_">

- It is clear that for 20 years we have had a lot of disputes in the team. And Alexey Lyutikov could theoretically amplify these differences and offer himself as a new producer of the show "Ural dumplings". Moreover, he learned from the inside how the show is made.

- This coming Thursday, the Moscow arbitration will consider the suit of "Ural dumplings" against your company First Hand Media: they demand to take away the trademark of the show from you. As far as I understand, there is a text trademark, and there is a graphic one. class="_">

– You are legally savvy. Indeed, there is a text, and there is a graphic trademark. In 2015, the lawyers and management of the companies producing the show (First Hand Media and Idea Fix Media) initiated a technical procedure for combining marks.

The fact is that since 2012, it was the graphic logo "Ural dumplings" developed by First Hand Media that was used on television broadcasts and at concerts. And it was not protected in any way, it was not registered with Rospatent. The production company combined these two signs to remove the risks in relation to the channel and to other partners.

- There is an opinion that when you left Pelmeni, you simply took away the trademark at the same time. class="_">

“People might think so. But we do not use this sign in any way, we do not prevent the team from doing shows and touring. Most importantly, as soon as a trademark dispute arose, First Hand Media was ready to transfer this trademark to the team. We offered this several times to both the representatives of the team and the team itself. But they don't want to take the sign! Instead, they sue.

– When did First Hand Media register it? class="_">

- I'm afraid to make a mistake, it was in November last year.

- Previously, the team's lawyers said that the trademark "Ural dumplings" is worth 400 million rubles. class="_">

- After leaving the Ural dumplings, did you watch the new episodes of the show? class="_">

– To be honest, not all of them. To some extent, the show has become different from what we did before. But the project is popular, people are watching it, and I wish the guys success so that Pelmeni will continue to develop.

- For First Hand Media, how significant was the project from a financial point of view? class="_">

I won't say in percentage terms. essential. But we were engaged and are engaged not only in "Dumplings". For example, we made a mini-series "Seasons of Love" for the TV channel "Domashny", we are preparing to produce a full-length comedy "March 9", we are actively developing the project "League of Improvisations".

- I understand that in September the "League of Improvisations" will be held in Yekaterinburg. What is the point of this show? Why should it take off? class="_">

- We want to bring together all the teams that are engaged in improvisation in Yekaterinburg. Conduct workshops and trainings for them. And as a result, the best will become participants in the gala concert and will be invited to Moscow in October to shoot.

The League of Improvisations is a short-form theatrical improvisation competition. We take the themes of the games from the audience, set the rules of the game and make humorous numbers. The ex-leader of the team filed a lawsuit, according to which former colleagues could not use the Ural Pelmeni trademark, but so far this issue has not been resolved. Netievsky stepped down as team director in 2015. According to Yevgeny Orlov, the former leader presents information differently, talking about parting with the team to journalists.

“Sergei Netievsky, who embezzled money from television activities(sale of programs on STS), considered insufficient money already appropriated. He is suing the team, trying to forbid the disposal of old programs, the rights to which he himself stole from the team. He wants to be the sole owner of the rights, he wants more and more. He lies in an interview that he left himself, although he was expelled from the team two years ago in disgrace, ”Orlov said.

Brekotkin and Sokolov, who have known Netievsky for many years, confirm that he deceived them. When the show "Ural dumplings" was launched on STS, the ex-director constantly talked about low payments from the channel. The team members decided to clarify the situation.

"Once upon a film set I had a conversation with a STS representative, during which we realized that there is money in this business. After that, we arranged a meeting at our creative base and asked Netievsky to come with all the contracts and reporting documents. At the meeting, it became clear that our friend was embezzling our income from television activities. Netievsky had to admit everything, ”Sokolov explained.

The comedian claims that they encountered Netievsky's dishonesty during the tour as well. According to Dmitry, Sergey received much more money from the organizers than he paid the team. Brekotkin does not know if there is any explanation for such an act by a man they have known since their student days.

“To say that this is a shock is to say nothing. It can be compared to the end of the world! Approximately such a reaction, as if a person found out that he had cancer ... Apparently, he did not consider us to be either friends or associates. Or ceased to be considered as such at some point, ”Dmitry shared.

Some team members hoped that Sergei would apologize and change his behavior. They were ready to forgive him and go to the world. However, Sergei stood his ground, believing that he was completely right.
“We told him: “Well, it happened. Let's call it "the demon beguiled" or "dizziness from success." You're wrong. You have a way out, you say: “OK, guys, I admit that I'm wrong. I'll try to get something back." Do you know what he said: “What are you doing? You are all wrong, not me!” Then we expelled him from the directors, created a new enterprise, we are creative work, new projects,” said Brekotkin
As the artists admitted in an interview with Sobesednik, they lost a friend and comrade, Netievsky became a stranger to them.
Recall that Sergei Netievsky left the team with a scandal in 2015. After that, numerous court hearings began. The former director and comedians fought for the right to use the Ural dumplings trademark. In February 2017, the court dismissed the claim of Netievsky's opponents.
“There were six hearings on this case. However, the verdict was constantly delayed. I do not understand why they wanted to solve everything through lawyers, because no one was hurt. When I was reinstated as director last fall, I transferred to the team the rights to use the trademark, both textual and combined, for a symbolic payment - one ruble. I'm not sure, but it seems they wanted to recover some kind of monetary compensation from me, ”said the ex-director.
In addition, Netievsky ordered former colleagues to pay the amount that he spent on lawyers' services. The court demanded that the Ural Pelmeni team return 300 thousand rubles to the former producer.
Four years ago, the artists told how, thanks to Sergei Netievsky, a show appeared that could win the hearts of an audience of millions.

At the end of October, "Ural dumplings" held a meeting at which the participants of the show decided on. The decision can be called collegiate - according to the constituent documents, all team members who, to one degree or another, own a stake in the Creative Association Ural Pelmeni, have the right to vote.

The sudden resignation of their director in the team was explained by the fact that Sergey Netievsky is busy (he is the producer of Idea Fix Media and the founder of First Hand Media), rarely appears in Yekaterinburg and, therefore, can no longer effectively fulfill his duties. The team says that all changes are already legally fixed.

From now on, the director of the group is Sergey Isaev. We met with the new leader of the Ural dumplings and asked what he would do better than Netievsky.

The resignation of Sergei Netievsky, who has held the position of director for the past 17 years, was a big surprise for everyone. There were many rumors, including that the reason for the resignation was a financial conflict. What happened?
- Everything is quite simple here. Sergei felt cramped in Yekaterinburg and, no matter how it sounded, he exchanged our city for Moscow. Sergey himself has repeatedly said in interviews that he has become a Muscovite, that he is much more comfortable in the capital, that he feels like a fish in water there. In other words, Sergei ceased to be a "dumpling in a saucepan" and became a "fish in the water."

All this affected his work in the Ural dumplings. You can’t compose something, be in close contact with the team, be at the training camp, while remaining in Moscow. We ourselves are not going to move to Moscow. We have long decided for ourselves that the rehearsal base will be where our parents and children live.

As for rumors of political or financial disputes, we do not even comment on it. If you comment on something, it means that you begin to somehow relate to it, reason, analyze, justify yourself ... We do not want to justify ourselves to anyone. We are honest with each other. We don't have behind-the-scenes games, kitchen secrets. We find it funny to read about it in the media.

- Netievsky will remain in the team?
No one has been fired, no one has been fired. Now Sergei will be working on his projects in Moscow, and we wish him success in this. I think time will tell. If Sergey Netievsky wants to continue working in the team, then we will sit down with him and discuss everything.

It is normal that someone goes on a separate voyage. At one time, Sergei Svetlakov left, but no one made a tragedy about this. If Svetlakov wants to take part in the concert, he will come and say: “Guys, I have time. Can?" - we will answer: “Grey, yes, no questions!” We do not have a ban on communication with this or that person.

IN next year- the anniversary of KVN, followed by the anniversary of Alexander Vasilyevich Maslyakov. I think that the show "Ural dumplings" will take part in it. We already have a preliminary invitation. We will gladly invite both Sergei Svetlakov and Sergei Netievsky.

- Sergey Netievsky worked on New Year's show and if so, in what capacity?
- He did not work on the last two shows either as a writer, or as a director, or as a manager.

- You and other team members managed to save with him friendly relations?
- Certainly. I think that this is such a feature of the Urals - we are kind, reasonable people. Normal, friendly relations are important to us, because it is easier to live this way. I won't say that we are clean as White snow. We don't have white snow right now. (laughs - approx. site). Of course, everyone has his own character, his own material values, everyone has his own energy, each of us has his own faith. But the main value is decency and good relations to each other, which we will always keep as a team.

In many ways, it was thanks to Sergey Netievsky that a few years ago an agreement was concluded with the STS television company on the broadcast of the Ural dumplings show. This helped the team to reach the federal level. How would you rate Netievsky's work now?
- I will not underestimate what Sergei did. He really brought finished project to the STS channel to our good friend Vyacheslav Murugov (Advisor to the General Director of the STS Media media holding, - site note), with whom we are familiar from KVN. Vyacheslav gave us the opportunity to appear on STS and gain a foothold on the TV channel. But today we are an independent project. We do everything ourselves: from writing jokes to shooting, editing and airing. We do not depend on the production, on the manager, on the mood of the people on the channel. We are an interesting, competitive program. This was made possible thanks to each of the team members. What we see on STS is the work of all the guys.

- Why did you become the new director?
- The position itself is appointed. The guys trust me, so they unanimously voted for me to take it.

Was the appointment unexpected for you?
- It was not some kind of surprise, rather, it was pleasant to me. The team entrusted me with the wheel! You can go right, you can go left, give gas or just stand, warm up the engine. It is important not to screw up the mechanism that was in your hands. Therefore, I try to treat it with trepidation: I warm it up in time, refuel it, do maintenance, clean it, if necessary, change something, improve it.

Actually this Full time job, 24 hours a day. I have to deal with issues that I cannot put off until tomorrow. The answer is here and now. Sometimes it happens that the issue requires a collegiate discussion, but there is simply no time to consult with everyone, then I take responsibility and make a decision for the whole team. This is perhaps the most difficult. But you need to be ready for this. If I can't do something, the guys help.

What was the first management decision you made in your new position? Will you radically change the system that Sergei Netievsky built?
- We have several changes planned, which we discussed with the whole team. My task in this case was to accurately convey the tasks that we have to solve. There will be changes in posters, in our name, brand. Our work with partners, with services that are constantly working behind the scenes of the show, will change. Few people think about it, but 130 people work at the Ural Dumplings concert. These are make-up artists, costume designers, decorators, props, catering service, transport service, people who are engaged in the selection of actors ... My task in this case is to make the team climb a step higher, reach a new level.

- What is the next level for "Ural dumplings"?
- Now we are faced with the task of maintaining popularity and continuing to develop in the format family show, do not go into commercial humor, which at times slips no, no, yes. I want us to remain those "Ural dumplings" from Yekaterinburg, which everyone knows now. There are also plans for the emergence of new projects. A lot of people on the team are interested in doing sitcoms, feature films, sports shows…

- Is it all on STS?
- We do not plan to leave the channel, everything suits us. We hear each other, the audience sees us. We recently spoke with CEOs STS. They made it clear that they were interested in our new projects and offered us more TV time before the New Year. We have very big plans, which I can't talk about yet. In order for everything to go as it should, we made changes in the management team. In Moscow, in a house on Pogonny passage, more than one apartment was bought from Netievsky. Along with the main business, Sergey became a co-owner of the LOS ISLAND fitness club. Such expenses, incommensurable with the earnings of colleagues in the Ural dumplings, who live much more modestly than their former leader, may have prompted the idea of stolen millions. According to them, KVNshchiki sued the producer.

The trial took place in early 2018. Sergei was charged with misappropriation of 28 million rubles earned by broadcasting episodes of the Ural dumplings show. While the rest of the project participants and its co-founders, owners of equal shares creative association, received a salary, Sergei Netievsky allegedly appropriated all the profits. But Netievsky's lawyers managed to convince the judges of the legality of his actions.

The Yekaterinburg Arbitration Court sided with the producer. The recognition of Sergei Netievsky as the resigned head of the show was declared invalid, and subsequent directors were declared illegitimate. Now Sergey Netievsky maintains relations only with Yulia Mikhalkova. The rest of the Ural dumplings colleagues prefer not to communicate with the producer because of the protracted conflict.
