Plots Malakhov leaves the first channel. Andrey Malakhov gave a frank interview about his work on Channel One - Do you think the Let Them Talk audience will follow you? Or will it be different? Who do you actually work for?

SERGEY MINAEV: Have you got heating in your apartment?

ANDREI MALAKHOV: Yes, three hours after I tweeted an appeal to Sobyanin, it became warm at home.

CM.: This seems to be the first time that the city's utilities have reacted so quickly.

A.M. A: I can't say that this is the first case of such a quick reaction. I would not ask for help, but my mother, who was returning from the sanatorium, is visiting me. We just cured her bronchitis - three weeks on a drip in the hospital. When I entered the apartment, I realized that if now my mother returns from the sanatorium to this hellish cold, I will probably hang myself right here, I will no longer have the strength to cope with this situation.

CM.: Do you often use such opportunities in everyday life as tweeting, calling Sobyanin?

A.M.: Very rarely. When Kapkov worked in the Moscow government, one could turn to him, and any issue was resolved very quickly. I remember how in Ostozhenka, where I live, a neighbor seized an apartment that had been sealed for fifteen years. She drove in and said that now there will be an ostrich breeding company. And she specifically registered three little grandchildren there so that no one could evict her.

CM.: Was it self-imposed?

A.M.: Certainly. And I evicted her. I wrote a letter to the Moscow mayor's office: the apartment is sealed, what's going on? They answer me: nothing is happening, the house was going to be resettled, which is why the apartment is sealed up. I say: can you sell it to me? They even sent an official letter from Channel One then. And everything dragged on for a long time, some signatures had to be collected. But then the cleaner at the entrance tells me: no problem, Rakova (Anastasia Rakova, vice-mayor of Moscow. — Esquire) lives in the neighborhood, I clean in her entrance, if you want, give me a paper, I will sign it.

CM.: This once again proves my theory that the country is actually run by people from whom you do not expect this: a cleaning lady, a car dealership manager ...

A.M.: Like the man who for twelve years watched the abandoned runway in the village of Izhma! (Sergey Sotnikov, former boss airport in the Komi Republic, which was closed in 2003, continued to maintain order on the runway, where a Tu-154 plane crash landed on 7 September 2010, with no one injured. — Esquire). A movie can be made about a person who has been waiting for his chance all his life. I had one story. IN New Year I was traveling from Petrozavodsk to Sortavala in some shabby train: there is no light, and suddenly the conductor comes in: “Oh, hello, I’m glad to see you, I was waiting for you,” she admits to me. He opens some notebook with my portrait and asks: put an autograph. I start flipping, and there are pasted portraits of Sofia Rotaru, Alla Pugacheva, and suddenly Alain Delon comes across. I say: “Of course, I will give you an autograph, but explain to me how you are waiting for Alain Delon on this train without linen, without light?” She replies: “Well, you appeared here!” And I have nothing to parry. We talked to her for another two hours.

CM.: I've always been amazed by your level of empathy. The main task of the interviewer or TV presenter is to maintain interest in the interlocutor. It's hard to play. You have always been interested not only in show business stars, but also in simple people.

A.M.: What was the success of the talk show long years? I treated each story as a historical document. Any release of my program, which, figuratively speaking, will be found in a time capsule by going to iCloud a hundred years later, it will be a document of time: what people were worried about, what worried them, how they communicated with each other.

CM.: Once a week it is still possible to prepare ether as a cast of the era, but how to do it on a daily basis?

A.M.: On the site, you merge with the guests and become part of the people, part of the history of a particular family. It is important to live together with people an event from their life.

CM.: I hate “domestic cannibalism”, and in your programs there was plenty of it: ordinary people do rather cynical things - because of living space or a small promotion.

A.M.: I don't blame them. We can demand something from people when their standard of living is higher than the rent bill, and not when every penny is important and the person lives from pension to pension. Of course, when the standard of living rises, a person begins to think about the spiritual, about what to read, what art to hang on the wall. But when this is the level of hungry people, not living, but surviving, barely surviving the cold summer of 2017, which did not bring a harvest, it is difficult to demand anything from them and force them to live differently. I went to the Dixy store two days ago, people stood in line for 15 minutes. I could demand another cashier, but I was interested in watching. The whole queue was due to the fact that the woman at the checkout took dumplings from the shelf, and it seemed to her that they had a special price, and in the check she was knocked out the full price, excluding promo. This is the dramaturgy of life. Ten people at the checkout, and she talks about her life, how she lives from retirement to retirement, and she can no longer afford to spend these extra 38 rubles. Here's the story for the studio!

CM.: You are a young successful millionaire, presenter, and these simple unfortunate people who come to your studio - you have nothing in common.

A.M.: We have a common country.

CM.: You have a very different countries. Her dumplings are 38 rubles more expensive, and you have a question, what kind of art to hang on the wall. How do you fit in? You are a celestial, glossy, beautiful person, which she sees only on TV, and now she is on this TV.

A.M.: This glossy, as you say, person helps her reach out to local authorities and tell them about how she lives, and why she does not have electricity or a ramp for her disabled child cannot be done in ten years.

CM.: So, do you feel like an intermediary?

A.M.: Probably yes.

CM.: The main event of this television season was your departure from Channel One and the transition to Rossiya. What was your last conversation with Konstantin Ernst?

A.M.: First there was a letter, then a long conversation.

CM.: Did you write a letter to Ernst?

A.M.: I could text him, but I worked on the channel for twenty-five years. I came when there was no Konstantin Lvovich yet. They brought me a work book, where it was written: "Ostankino". I also have a Soviet employment history with one entry. I thought that in the 21st century people do not write letters to each other, but they should. The letter - you can reread it, you see the handwriting, it is not printed.

CM.: Did you write by hand?

A.M.: Yes. This is a different energy. In five pages, I explained how I see the situation. I wanted to give him the opportunity to look at the situation through my eyes.

CM.: Pretty romantic. What did you want to say with this letter?

A.M.: The question was that when you join a company, a project and start by serving coffee, it is very difficult to explain to the management later that you may be growing and see yourself as a top manager. Well, or at least an ordinary manager. And you are still perceived as the "son of the regiment." Many of those who remained in the television business, on other programs, went through the school of our talk show. For example, Lena Flying worked for us as an editor. It is very important for a leader to notice these changes in people. The man has grown up and is ready for the next step.

CM.: You were ready to become a producer, but you didn't notice it?

A.M.: I wanted to be the producer of this talk show. I did it for sixteen years after all. I see my colleagues who work on the channel. They are producers. At some point, when “Let them talk” became almost national treasure, I was reconciled with reality only by the fact that I am an intermediary and doing a good deed. At the same time, I am in a position with a state television channel and I understand that this program belongs to the country.

CM.: What changed? Has the program ceased to be a socially significant project? Or ceased to belong to the country?

A.M.: No, they just decided everything for me. There are new producers new studio, not in Ostankino. I came to Ostankino as a temple of television, I grew up there in twenty-five years, starting with "coffee" and ending with a talk show. And all this did not happen at once.

CM.: Returning to your conversation with Konstantin Lvovich...

A.M.: We had a thirty minute conversation.

CM.: For thirty minutes, Ernst did not find the words to keep the best leading channel?

A.M.: No, he found the words, but we parted on the fact that we will once again think about where the channel is heading, how it might look in the future and about my role on this channel. The second time, unfortunately, we never met. When I was driving to this meeting, the girl editor who worked for me called and asked which entrance I would call in to set up the camera. And I didn’t want to meet under the cameras, so I didn’t get there.

CM.: Your meeting was supposed to take place under cameras?

A.M.: So anyway, I get it. I was just driving to a meeting. A suit, a tie, a haircut - and then the editor called and asked which entrance to put the camera in ... Young editors, you know, will kill everything in the world, this has long been clear: the whole world depends on them, on their idiocy and on their level of education.

CM.: That is, it is quite possible that the editor, whose last name no one will recognize, “left” you from the channel?

A.M.: I know her last name, and she still owes me 50,000 rubles. But okay, that's a fact. The universe itself has to decide where the ball will fall, you know?

CM.: The god of television appeared to you in the form of this editor, who said: "That's it, Andryush, finished."

A.M.: Incidentally, she is associated amazing story- at the level of mild insanity. We have prepared a program dedicated to orphanage. Some kind of flight at seven in the evening, and she says: “And tomorrow we will have Svetlana Medvedeva (the wife of Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. — Esquire)". I ask: "How is it?" “Yes, I called The White house, she picked up the phone, I invited her, and she answered: "Very good." And she will come to our program.” I say, “Fine, but I don’t really believe in it.” I come to work in the morning. They are putting in new tiles. I ask, "What's going on?" They answer me: “Medvedev is going to Ostankino. I go upstairs, and Timakova is just calling (Natalya Timakova, press secretary of Dmitry Medvedev. - Esquire): “Who called Svetlana Medvedeva on the air?”

CM.: That is, Medvedev was really going on the air?

A.M.: She was going to come to us because she liked the story. Sometimes in this universe something works.

CM.: You wrote another - farewell - letter.

A.M.: I have no personal claims to Konstantin Lvovich. I respect him immensely, I consider him one of the biggest professionals on television. This is a man who has been essentially a father to me in the television world all these years.

CM.: Oleg Dobrodeev (head of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. - Esquire) offered you to be a producer?

A.M.: Yes, one of the most famous manufacturers and producers of the country, Alexander Mitroshenkov, became my partner. I became the general producer of the program.

CM.: In this series "Malakhov and Others", in addition to Ernst and Dobrodeev, there is one more hero - Boris Korchevnikov. He had his own talk show, which can be called a clone of "Let them talk." And here you come, and he has to leave ...

A.M.: Korchevnikov, even before I appeared, somewhere in April, was appointed to the position of general director of the Spas TV channel, and everyone knew that he was finalizing the season and leaving.

CM.: Was there any drama? Did you calmly come to the channel, to the platform from which he had already left?

A.M.: With him, it was just the most simple and comfortable communication. Even Boris’s mother called me: “Andrey, I’m calling you to tell you that I am very happy, this is probably the best thing that could happen to the project, that after Boris you came there.” I didn't expect such a call. And it was my desire to start my first broadcast with a program about Boris. It seems to me that when you come to a project that already has its own history, of course, you need to pay homage to these people who worked and created here - this is very important.

CM.: Your first serious broadcast on VGTRK is an interview with Maksakova. You have already said that you were not allowed to do it on Channel One.

A.M.: This is true. I was friends - this is loudly said, but I talked with Masha even before she moved with her husband to Ukraine. When there was a wedding, we prepared the broadcast - people are interested in seeing how weddings take place, who looks like, what is on the tables. Masha had her first wedding in the State Duma of that convocation. And suddenly they leave. I'm calling: we have footage from the wedding, you were ready to go on the air with us, let's do your first interview from abroad in our program, it will be a bomb. But on the channel they tell me: no, this is not your topic, don’t even touch it. Okay, let's not touch. Further, when on the TV channel "Russia" their story turned into a series with good ratings, I was offered: now let's you.

CM.: I watched a couple of issues of this, as you put it, series. It discussed the traitors who fled to Ukraine, how many millions the murdered spouse Maksakova stole, why she left with him at all. You got a completely different interview with her.

A.M.: The program is still called “Andrey Malakhov. Live”, and this is my view of the situation. I understood that she suddenly turned into a soap opera character, and I wanted to show how I see this situation. From her side it big romance, big love. Maksakova convinces me that it was mutual, and I think that my husband could use her as a lifesaver in his situation. But she is so sensual, there is so much love in her that, of course, she runs after him.

CM.: You were not afraid to go to Kyiv?

A.M.: I had a special letter from the Russian Orthodox Church that I was going. Safety paper. I was ready to be turned around. But I was not in Crimea, and I did not have any programs about Ukraine.

CM.: Are you not interested in political subjects at all?

A.M.: Interesting, but if they are made in a non-trivial way, if it is, for example, an interview with Oliver Stone. A man is interviewing one of the top politicians in the world, Vladimir Putin, and I want to know his impressions. How it was, what was left behind the scenes, some unexpected sides. Around the same time, Irina Zaitseva once did the program “Hero of the Day Without a Tie”, and the heroes looked a little different than we know them.

CM.: Who would you like to interview? Three people you're interested in that you haven't met.

A.M.: The President of France with his wife - I think this is very interesting. Natalya Vetlitskaya. And, if you take the actors, - Natalya Negoda (played main character in the film "Little Faith". — Esquire), no one has seen her for a thousand years. Deputies? I don’t know, not a single deputy in Russia shows how he lives. Let's be honest: this is absurd.

KONSTANTIN ERNST, receiving TEFI for the program "Let them talk" on October 2, 2017:“As for the best entertainment talk show, everyone here knows that programs are made by a lot of people. Programs that come out for 16 years are made by many people. Nevertheless, this prize, I believe, should remain in memory of the First Channel to Andrei Malakhov.

CM.: Why do you think they don't advertise it?

A.M.: Because there are two different Russia: the life they proclaim from the stands and the life they actually live.

CM.: Perhaps they are afraid that if you show them on TV, the sacred meaning of power will be lost?

A.M.: Ten years ago, all of them were shown, and nothing was lost. Now I have only one question: maybe they really have such palaces that you just can’t show it?

CM.: I came across a big discussion on facebook about the upcoming elections. Someone wrote: “Well, why are you discussing Sobchak, Navalny? Do you understand that the only candidate for whom half of the country will vote tomorrow is Andrey Malakhov?” Have you ever thought about a career in politics?

A.M.: All thoughts about politics ended for me after one story related to my dad. The Pope has been gone for ten years, a year after his death we erected a monument on his grave. Time passes. The city of Apatity is preparing for its 50th anniversary. They turn to me: could I help bring the artists to the performance, we have a small budget for the holiday. Holiday in September. September in the Murmansk region can be very beautiful, or it can be very rainy. I say: a holiday on the square, imagine how it rains all day, we bring some artist to whom we will pay money, everything is under umbrellas, there is no mood, let's better make a holiday in the palace of culture, save money, I will bring you not great artist, and a few smaller stars, and with the proceeds we will make an illumination in the city. IN small town, where the polar night, four months of illumination will be much more important than 40 minutes of a concert on the square, think about it, I say. The phone goes silent. A couple of days later I receive a letter: “Dear Andrey, hello! The director of the funeral company is writing to you. You erected a monument ten years ago. I want to say that you did not pay extra 2,765 rubles for it, and local journalists turned to me for comments: Malakhov is going to run for mayor of the city of Apatity, but did not pay 2,765 rubles for a monument to his father. Could you return this money, or I will have to sell this story to local journalists who offer 5,000 rubles for it. I answer: “If you want to cut down for this story more money, contact Moscow journalists, they will pay you at least 15! Secondly, tell the local council of deputies that I am not going to run. So my offer of help and desire to do something for small homeland distorted to the point that I want to take the post of mayor. Funny and sad. I am ready to take part in the life of the country, the city, but to be honest, I would not want to see myself on the political Olympus.

CM.: You once said that television is the business of the young. Are you thinking about where you want to be in five years, where do you want to be? How much longer will you be on the talk show?

A.M.: It is difficult today to be on the cutting edge all the time, because there are many channels around where you can perform. Every generation needs its idols. This does not mean that young people do not know Malakhov. It is very important to remain interesting to yourself. I ask myself the question: how can I not become an outgoing nature for a longer time and find some new interests in life in order to enjoy it? Today you don’t need any television to become a star or at least maintain your star status: instagram, twitter, facebook, YouTube channels - it all works for you. Everyone in the future will receive not a minute of fame, but the opportunity to be a star. Talented people will still break through, they will be noticed, their videos will gain views. The only problem is that not everyone needs it. "I want to become an actor" - these are some infantile dreams. Whoever wants to, will gnaw through everything, will beat his head against the wall, but sooner or later he will achieve becoming a star. Only maniacs achieve something in their business.

CM.: Do you feel the competition from the Internet, YouTube-channels?

A.M.: I understand that the involvement of bloggers and vloggers is very important. What are we moving towards? This is a symbiosis of the Internet and high-quality television. You are not in a hurry to watch a program from work to TV, because you know that you can watch the best part of it on the Internet. TV today is a big screen with which you can become an accomplice in the discovery Olympic Games, football match because you don’t want or can’t sit in a cold stadium, even in VIP-bed, chat with someone, and in the evening you just want to be at home. You, along with the whole world, are watching the same thing at the same moment, this is participation. Everything else no longer requires you to stay at the screen.

CM.: Some time will pass, and you and Konstantin Ernst will surely have this “second meeting”. Andrey Malakhov will become a big producer, just as he has already become a big presenter. What will you tell him at this meeting? “You didn’t believe, but I became a producer?” Have you thought about this future conversation?

A.M.: Honestly? Did not think. Thoughts that it is necessary to prove and show something, no. It seems to me that no one can do more than I proved and did for Channel One. You just need to work, pray and move forward. ≠

"I want to grow"

Andrey Malakhov explained the departure from Channel One

TV presenter Andrey Malakhov said that his departure from Channel One was due to a desire for professional growth. He stated this in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper.

“I want to grow up, become a producer, a person who makes decisions, including determining what my program is about, and does not give up my whole life and look like a puppy in the eyes of people changing during this time. The TV season is over, I decided that I needed to close this door and try myself in a new capacity in a new place, ”Malakhov said. Malakhov did not answer the question about the reasons for the conflict with the producer of Channel One, Natalya Nikonova. “Can I leave this without comment? I have always believed that in love and dislike one must be consistent. It is unusual for me to change my set of beliefs as if by a wave magic wand. This is where I will end the story,” he said.

Malakhov said that he came to television as a student. "I was fascinated by this big world and started by running for coffee during the day, at night - to the stall for vodka for television legends. And although you have become a popular TV presenter, you still work with the same people who treat you like the son of a regiment, ”the presenter explained. He added that his colleagues, who came to television much later, are already directing their own projects. “And you still have the same old status. You are expected to be the MC, but you already have something to talk about with your viewers,” he added.

In the publication StarHit, of which Malakhov is the editor-in-chief, he also published an open letter to Konstantin Ernst and the people with whom he worked. In it, the TV presenter said goodbye to his colleagues and personally thanked many of them. “Dear Konstantin Lvovich! 45 years is an important milestone in the life of a man, 25 of them I gave to you and Channel One. These years have become part of my DNA, and I remember every minute that you dedicated to me. Thank you so much for all that you have done, for the experience that you have passed on to me, for amazing journey along the television road of life that we went through together, ”Malakhov wrote, referring to to CEO Channel One.

A promo video for Malakhov's new program on the Russia 1 channel, called "Hi, Andrey!", was published on the StarHit YouTube channel.

Recall that on July 31, the media reported that TV presenter Andrei Malakhov was switching from Channel One to VGTRK. According to the BBC Russian Service, the transition could be due to the fact that the channel's management decided to add to its talk show political topics, although earlier the program specialized in discussing the social agenda and show business. The initiator of the change of agenda was the producer Natalya Nikonova, who has been working on the program since May.

TV presenter Andrey Malakhov, whose new project was the program "Live" on the channel "Russia 1", gave a great candid interview"Kommersant". In it, he recalled how he began his career and told what was the reason for leaving.

On Channel One, Malakhov spent 25 years, and started with “give-bring”.

“I came to Ostankino as a student for practice and stood for three hours waiting for a pass. I was fascinated by this big world and started by running for coffee during the day, at night - to the stall for vodka for TV legends.

And although you have become a popular TV presenter, you still work with the same people who treat you like the son of a regiment.

This is a situation where your colleagues came much later, but already have their own projects. And you still have the same status. You are expected to be the "leader in the ear", but you already have something to talk about yourself with your viewers.

It's like in family life: at first there was love, then it turned into a habit, and at some point it was a marriage of convenience, ”says Malakhov.

Previously, the main reason for his departure was called the conflict with producer Natalya Nikonova, who came up with “Let them talk”, then nine years ago she left for the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, and this year she returned to “First”.

"Can I leave this without comment?" Malakhov replied to the suggestion that he could not work with her.

“I have always believed that in love and dislike one must be consistent. It is unusual for me to change my set of beliefs as if by magic. On this I will end the story, ”said the showman.

The TV presenter admitted that he wants to grow and become a person who makes decisions, and does not obey them. According to him, he arranged the departure from the First correctly: he warned the producer for a month, wrote a statement and a letter to the general director of the channel Konstantin Ernst.

“But this whole story is not a conflict with the channel's management. I have deep respect for Konstantin Lvovich. Moreover, he understands what happiness it is to become a father and that there is life apart from the daily struggle for rating. (…)

Leaving now, I seemed to see my television death - all this noise on the Internet, a program on the topic “that's what kind of guy he was” ... This is some kind of rebirth, ”Malakhov said.

The TV presenter also noted that his new show, which he will not only host, but also produce, will reflect himself even more.

He believes that one of the reasons for the decline in the audience of "Let them talk" is the inability to discuss the most sensitive topics live on air.

“There are topics that are important to discuss live. For example, Zakharchenko's billions. The producer tells me: this is not your topic. I will not argue, especially since I was not the producer of the show and the final word was not mine. Or - a story about the departure of Maria Maksakova.

I call her, she says: "Andrey, I trust you, I'll tell you everything now." Then they tell me: this is not your topic, you do not touch it. Then I see how Maria Maksakova turns into a series on other channels, without giving anyone an interview, I am internally offended, ”Malakhov shared.

Andrey Malakhov, the host and editor-in-chief of the StarHit project, has become one of the main newsmakers of this summer. For many days now, the press has been discussing his departure from Channel One. The TV star decided to focus on close people, because very soon he will become a father. The TV journalist and his wife Natalya Shkuleva are preparing for the long-awaited addition to the family.

For a long time, Andrei Malakhov preferred not to give detailed comments on the events that became a sensation in the media. The presenter, who was on vacation, rested with his wife. However, the TV journalist recently broke his silence and gave an exclusive interview to reporters, talking about the reasons why he decided to make changes to his usual routine.

“Everything was enough. But at some point, a crisis came,” he says.

In January, the TV journalist turned 45 years old. The presenter says that he experienced "the crisis of the genre in absolutely everything" - starting with those programs that began to seem secondary to him, and ending with dissatisfaction with his position.

“I have always been subordinate. Man is a soldier who follows orders. And I wanted to be independent. I looked at my colleagues, they became producers of their programs, they themselves began to make decisions. And suddenly an understanding came: life goes on, and you need to grow, get out of the tight framework, ”says Malakhov.

In the spring of this year, the editors of the program “Let them talk” moved to a spacious pavilion located near the metro station “Airport”. The news about the change of studio was a big surprise for Andrei Malakhov. Over the long years of operation, Ostankino has become a second home for the TV journalist. “It has its own aura, energy,” he says, adding that he began to worry about large-scale changes. The presenter was worried that he simply would not “pull” a space of such a volume.

“When you have the end of the season, a new location for filming, you physically cannot do bad things, you start to engage in self-digging, unnecessary self-destruction. You think that you and the presenter are so-so, and nothing works, and your time gone ... And then they sent me a video of how the studio “Let them talk” is being dismantled. I don't know how to compare what I felt. Probably, if they brought me to the morgue and showed how they dissect a person close to you ... And like this: drop by drop they burned everything that was expensive, to which I was mentally attached, ”he said.

Now, according to Andrei Malakhov, he begins new stage In my life. The host decided to move on and focus on something else. "You have to close that door," he noted in exclusive interview magazine "Antenna-Telesem".

I took it at the beginning of summer. And the contract with the employer ended on December 31, 2016 - and the TV presenter did not want to renew it. The fact that, Malakhov told the producer of the program "Let them talk" in a month.

“But somehow everyone didn’t believe it,” the TV presenter said in an interview with the Kommersant newspaper. - And on the first day of vacation I wrote Konstantin Ernst a letter that "I'm tired, I'm leaving."

Malakhov sent an official letter of resignation to the management of the Russian Post channel, since at that time he was not in Moscow. Alas, some people misunderstood this act of Andrei.

Andrei Malakhov said that his departure from Channel One had nothing to do with the transition to Russia 1. The TV presenter began to consider offers for a new job only after his story on the First had already been completed.

“I was even offered to host Dom-2. We decided it would be a good show if it were in the Seychelles. Then there was an offer from a new large project at STS. The reaction of colleagues was interesting. Vadim Takmenev (chief editor of NTV infotainment programs) called on the second day after submitting the application, we talked about television life, and he could not believe in my departure, ”says Malakhov. - But when you act with an incredible corset all over the country, which, let's be honest, won last TV season, and you are invited, realizing that you are clearly not a fool in television, then you feel respect and understand that here you are no longer a boy who does coffee".

On "Russia 1" Malakhov will not only be the host " live broadcast", but also the producer of the program:

“My wife calls me boss baby. It is clear that television is a team story, but the final word is with the producer.”

Andrey Malakhov named the main reasons for his transition to a new job:

« This is a series of different events in life. I came to Ostankino as a student for an internship and stood for three hours waiting for my pass.

It's like in family life: at first there was love, then it turned into a habit, and at some point it's a marriage of convenience. My contract with Channel One ended on December 31, 2016 and was not renewed - everyone is so used to me being here. I want to grow up, become a producer, a person who makes decisions, including determining what my program should be about, and does not give up my whole life and look like a puppy in the eyes of people changing during this time. The TV season is over, I decided that I need to close this door and try myself in a new capacity in a new place.

Andrey Malakhov also wrote an open letter to his former colleagues in Starhit. Here are excerpts from it:

"Dear friends!

In our digital age, epistolary genre they are extremely rare, but I came to Channel One in the last century, when people were still writing letters to each other, not text messages. So sorry for such a long message. I hope you know real reasons my unexpected transfer to "Russia 1", where I will lead new program"Andrei Malakhov. Live”, to engage in the Saturday show and other projects.

I remember the day when, as an intern, I crossed the threshold of the Vremya program and for the first time saw a large television from the inside. From that " ice age”remained only 91-year-old Kaleria Kislova (former main director Time program. - Approx. "StarHit"). Kaleria Venediktovna, colleagues still speak of you with a breath. On TV they will no longer see such people who could "build" ;-) everyone - both presidents and top officials of the state. You are an example of the highest professionalism!

From the amazing past, I will also miss Kirill Kleimenov, who is today at the helm of information broadcasting. We started together on the Good Morning program. Cyril then read the morning news, and today he has a huge responsibility on his shoulders, he practically lives in the Television Center. Kirill, for me you are an example of self-denial in the name of your favorite business, and there is the highest justice in the fact that it was you who got the office with the most beautiful view of the ancient Ostankino Park. I also admire that you can easily communicate even in such a difficult language as Finnish. When conjugating verbs in my "easy" French classes, I always remember you.

Head of Channel One. World Wide Web”, my classmate and classmate at Moscow State University Lesha Efimov, do you remember how you and I flew to open the channel’s broadcasting in Canada and Australia? I'm sorry we couldn't resume our business trips.

Your deputy and my good friend is the news anchor Dmitry Borisov.

Dima, all hope is on you! The other day I saw fragments of "Let them talk" with your participation. I'm sure you will succeed!

One of the main creators of my style - Tatiana Mikhalkova and the super team of the Russian Silhouette image studio! How many styling, and in a matter of minutes, did Regina Avdimova and her magic wizards. I think it could not have done without the help of a collection of frogs, which Regina collects for good luck.

My native 14th studio! With tears in my eyes, I recently watched how it was dismantled. Wonderful design, invented by the chief artist of Channel One, Dmitry Likin. Who is able to do better, to endow the scenery with the same inner energy?! Dima is generally a very versatile person. The interiors of the Moscow cinema "Pioneer", the embankment of the park of arts "Museon" are also his creations. And I am also grateful to Dmitry for being one of the first to infect me with love for contemporary art and it added an incredible cascade of emotions into my life.

My beloved Catherine! "Sister-Capricorn" Katya Mtsituridze! I'm sorry I didn't tell you personally, but as a person who works on the channel and heads Roskino, you understand: I need to grow and move forward. Katyusha Andreeva, you have a cool page on Instagram, and special respect for your likes. Katya Strizhenova, how many shares, starting with " Good morning”, holidays, concerts, our “sweet couple” survived ;-) - and do not count!

Main music producer channel Yuri Aksyuta, we also have a rich experience of TV hours spent together. Eurovision, New Year's Lights, Two Stars, Golden Gramophone - it was recently, it was a long time ago ... You brought me to the big stage: our duet with Masha Rasputina still does not allow envious people to sleep peacefully.

Lenochka Malysheva, you were the person who first called in excitement, refusing to believe what was happening. But you need to develop, as a producer of your own program, you understand this better than others. And if along the way I pushed you to new theme ether called "The first manifestations of male menopause" ;-), is also not bad.

And if we continue to joke, I am well understood by another producer of his own show - Ivan Urgant. Vanya, thank you for the numerous mentions of my person and for raising the rating of that rather big part of the audience that spins spinners.

Lenochka Queen! In memory of your grandmother Ludmila Gurchenko, which I promised not to leave you in life, I still hired you. You yourself know that you were not the most exemplary administrator. But now, having gone through the “Let them talk” school, I dare to hope that you won’t let me down anywhere.

And if we are talking about Maxim Galkin ... Max, everyone says that I am repeating your television fate (in 2008, Galkin left Channel One for Russia, but returned seven years later. - Approx. "StarHit"). I will say more, as a teenager, I, a novice fan of Alla Borisovna, also dreamed of repeating your personal fate ... ;-) And one more thing. I did not comment on your recent video with the castle in the background, because if money had been in the first place in this story, my transfer, as you can imagine, would have happened nine years ago.

The press service of Channel One - Larisa Krymova ... Lara, it is with your light hand I became the editor-in-chief of StarHit magazine. It was you who organized my first meeting with Viktor Shkulev, President of Hearst Shkulev Publishing, where this magazine has been successfully published for the tenth year.

Well, in conclusion - about the owner of the main office of Ostankino, on the door of which there is a sign "10-01" attached. Dear Konstantin Lvovich! 45 years is an important milestone in the life of a man, 25 of them I gave to you and Channel One. These years have become part of my DNA, and I remember every minute that you dedicated to me. Thank you so much for all that you have done, for the experience that you gave me, for the amazing journey along the television road of life that we have gone through together.

The only request is to take care of your assistants, especially Lenochka Zaitseva . She is not only a very dedicated and professional employee, but she can also claim the role of the chief psychologist of Channel One.

I wrote all this and I understand: a lot has happened in 25 years, and although I am unbearably sad now, only one thing will be remembered - how good we were together. Take care of yourself and your loved ones, my love! God bless us!

Your Andrey Malakhov.
