Mitya, let's start from the very beginning. Tell us how you got on the project?

- It happened completely unexpectedly. On the Internet, I accidentally stumbled upon information about the casting and decided that I wasn’t there, I’ll try! I really wanted to change my life, reset excess weight who was recruited after a serious spinal injury. As it turned out later, at the time of the application, the casting had ended long ago, but despite this, I was invited to Moscow, I passed the selection and became a participant in the show “Weighted People”.

By what parameters, besides being overweight, were the future "Weighted people" selected?

There were a lot of criteria, oh During the selection, they paid special attention to health, they were interested in whether the applicants had a sports background, because the participants during the project were waiting for difficult physical activities. By almost all indicators, my health was normal, the only thing was that there was a problem with the ankle due to the heavy weight, but I was “repaired” on the project. Another plus was that in my youth I did judo. In addition to these parameters, I think certain qualities of character were also important, for example, sociability, as well as the ability to behave in front of the camera, in public. Many of the participants had this experience. Someone starred on television, the other worked as a host at corporate parties, I am a former KVNschik.

At first, how difficult was it to get into the rhythm of the project?

Before the injury, I led an active lifestyle and never weighed more than a hundred kilograms, so it was not difficult for me to get involved in working on myself. I am a fairly resilient person. On the project, in addition to morning exercises, classes in the gym, individual evening training, I often went in for sports at night: I rocked or played tennis with one of the participants.

- In the television broadcasts of the show, the emphasis is on training, the diet of the participants remains behind the scenes. Tell us how the food was built on the project?

- In fact, great attention was paid to proper nutrition, nutritionist Yulia Bastrygina worked closely with us. It was she who compiled the menu, corrected it depending on physical activity, talked about healthy food. We always had calorie tables at hand. When the chef of the project had days off, according to the tables and menus, we independently prepared dishes for five meals. At the beginning of the project, we consumed about 1200 kilocalories every day. Despite the fact that after a couple of weeks the norm was reduced to 500-800 calories, this was quite enough - we never remained hungry.

How did you prepare for the control weigh-in?

- Before the control weigh-in at the end of each week, we had a training last chance, where we tried to give all the best to one hundred percent. Basically, here we received a cardio load that effectively melts fat. On the eve of the weigh-in, a visit to the sauna became an obligatory item in our schedule to get rid of excess fluid in the body. Before going to bed and at night we tried not to drink water. In the morning we go to the weigh-in, everyone's tongue sticks to the sky, but we endure (smiles), because we had to show a good result on the scales.

- The project trainers also worked on the result of the participant. On the show, you had a chance to train under the guidance of Irina Turchinskaya and in the team of Denis Semenikhin. Which of the coaches did you feel most comfortable working with?

- I am such a person that I am comfortable with almost everyone (smiles). Each of our trainers is great professional. I was very lucky: I got the opportunity to study under the guidance of both masters. Each coach helped me a lot, despite the different approach to training. With Irina, we worked out more in the gym, on simulators or with dumbbells. Denis often arranged training for fresh air, we pulled tires, moved carts with tires, worked with sledgehammers. Getting used to the new coach and other loads was not easy at first, but soon everything went like clockwork.

- On recent weeks team wrestling was replaced by an individual competition. Personally, was it easier for you to work in a team or already on your own result?

Dividing into teams or working for yourself - for me it was not fundamental. In terms of physical activity and psychologically, I did not feel the difference. After the rules were changed, we also lived under the same roof, cooked together, and talked. Already somewhere, where, but it was hard to vote. When you see that it is vital for all participants to be on the project under the supervision of experienced coaches and doctors, when you understand that the fate of another person depends on you, it is incredibly difficult to make a choice. Each time it was really hard for me to write the name of one of the participants.

In recent weeks, you also had to leave the project. Wasn't it a shame to leave one step away from the final?

Of course, it was a shame to leave the show, but these are the rules of the project. Getting into the top five is already an achievement, especially at that time I showed best result among the "Weighted People": dropped almost 54 kilograms from the initial weight of 219. In other countries where a similar show was held, participants with a greater weight, like me, left the project much earlier. Only in Sweden was there a precedent when a heavyweight hero stepped over the equator.

After the project, did you continue to lose weight?

Yes, after the final of the show, I managed to lose another 21 kilograms. Now my weight is at around 138. Gradually, I strive for my ideal figure - 97 kilograms. I kept this weight for a long time, from the student bench, and I felt very comfortable in it. Before winter, I plan to lose weight to 120, in next year, if possible, I will reach the cherished 97. If my weight is a little more, I will not be upset, the main thing is that now I can move normally, lead an active lifestyle.

Tell us in more detail, what place does physical activity occupy in your life now?

I really missed physical activity, so I try to use every opportunity. If I go by "minibus", then I go out a couple of stops and go to the place I need on foot. I also completely abandoned the elevator. Despite the fact that I live on the third floor, several times a day I go up to the tenth and go back down. In my schedule, unfortunately, there are no classes in the gym - time does not allow, there is a lot of work. I have my own business - a yarn store. But early in the morning, I still take long walks over rough terrain, I try to walk at least five kilometers. Not far from home, in a forest belt, I make a stop, there I have a small impromptu sports ground, where I even have a tire, like Denis Semenikhin, however, there is no sledgehammer - they will steal it (smiles). If possible, I also conduct classes at home: I pull a 16-kilogram weight, I do several approaches in the morning and in the evening. On weekends, I try to go out of town: a week ago, my wife and I were in the woods, probably wound 15 kilometers.

How has your diet changed?

My family and I try to follow the basics of a healthy diet. Thanks to this, my wife lost 10 kilograms, my son - eight. Meat dishes and fish are cooked in the oven or steamed, we almost completely abandoned sunflower oil. If earlier a bottle of oil took a week, now it can stand for two months and will still be half full. For more than a year I did not eat lard, did not buy mayonnaise and sugar. chocolate in last time was on our table New Year And then I only ate one candy. Now my family’s diet is exclusively healthy food: oatmeal three times a week in the morning, a lot of fruits and vegetables, we especially love zucchini: we bake them in circles, add them to various dishes. By the way, after the culinary competition at the project, where I cooked a soufflé from zucchini with turkey, I received a flood of messages on the social network asking me to send the recipe for the dish (smiles).

Do you keep in touch with the participants after the project?

We continue to communicate with many participants, even after the project we managed to maintain warm friendly relations.

What trace has the “Weighted People” project left in your life?

— Thanks to the project, I got a lot of impressions, it felt like I was in another world. I got to know wonderful people: with the participants, with the film crew, doctors and trainers. I saw television from the inside, now I can imagine how the filming process goes, how difficult it is and at the same time interesting. Finally, thanks to the project, I can afford what I only dreamed about before: I move freely, visit the water park, go to the forest. Now hundreds of people go to my personal page on the social network, write wishes, ask for an autograph, they began to recognize me on the streets. But I a common person who just really wanted to change his life. Everyone can be in my place, the main thing is a great desire and faith in yourself!

Oksana Leonova from Rostov spent 13 weeks on the project of the STS channel “Weighted People” and lost 38 kg. How she lived two years after the broadcast and what it cost her to reach today's weight, Oksana told Woman's Day. Perhaps her experience and fighting spirit will help current members.

What did the project give you, what new things did you discover?

Most importantly, I finally felt that the possibilities of my body are limitless. How? My personal training with Irina Turchinskaya lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes and for almost all this time I was walking on a treadmill with a 20 degree incline! And before that, I had a main training session that lasted four hours. You see, in ordinary life we often feel sorry for ourselves and don't get to the point where we can say, "I did my best"! I had the same moment, which I am very happy. I am proud of this victory over myself. I came to the project with a weight of 118 kg, and left with 80 kg.

What was the most difficult for you?

Perhaps the most difficult was and remains running! I won't be a Kenyan runner (laughs). It was also very difficult to “lose” friends. It is impossible to get used to the fact that every week someone leaves the project.

How has your life changed since the project?

Yes, I have new job, new image life. I used to work in the field Catering, and now I am the administrator of the aesthetic medicine center. But most of all I like the new feeling of myself. At the age of 39, I fell in love with myself and accepted myself for who I am, and I regard this as a big breakthrough in my own mind. Just so you know, fat people don't like themselves. I hated myself, and my body answered me the same. All changes occur first in the head. That's why working with psychologists was so important to me.

After returning from the project, did you continue to lose weight?

I was absolutely satisfied with my new image, and I actively enjoyed my new self. During these years, I either lost weight or gained weight, but by exactly three kilograms. Still, sometimes I indulged myself and seasonal fluctuations took over. But in the summer of 2016, the body gave a hormonal failure, and the weight began to increase. I immediately went to an endocrinologist who found the cause of my weight gain. Now I am undergoing therapy with a doctor. Comprehensive efforts (diet, exercise and hormone therapy) are beginning to bear fruit. According to the doctors, I will return to normal in eight months. But the most important thing is that after this period I want to consolidate the result of 75 kg! My life experience taught me that no matter how many times you fall, the main thing is how many times you were able to get up and move on to your goal. Now I get up and move on.

How much do you weigh now?

91 kilograms, but the weight changes down weekly.

What do you like most about the new figure?

The ability to choose things in the store, and not to sew on special order!

How do you keep in shape? Sports nutrition?

First of all, I keep proper nutrition. I haven’t fried anything for a long time, I don’t eat flour, fatty, potatoes, pasta, very salty, mayonnaise (it was the hardest to refuse) and everything that contains sugar. Completely abandoned semi-finished products, fast food and carbonated drinks. I almost never drink alcohol. What do I eat? All first courses, but without potatoes and on the second meat broth. I love for garnish stewed cabbage or buckwheat without salt and low-fat fermented milk products. This is just enough to support the weight. Well, to lose weight, you need to add sports and not eat five hours before bedtime.

How many times a week do you exercise?

I was lucky: recently a gym was opened near my house. Now I have the opportunity to train every free minute. IN Lately I worked out mainly at home - plank, abs, exercises with dumbbells, but this is not enough for me now. I'm at the point where I need to work harder.

How many times a day do you eat?

As our nutritionist Yulia Bastrygina said: “If you want to lose weight, eat five times a day. If you want to lose a lot of weight, eat seven times a day!” I have a golden mean, I eat six times a day. Moreover, kefir at night is also considered a meal.

Do you allow yourself days when you can eat everything? How often?

When I really want to, sometimes I allow myself a piece of dark chocolate. Apparently, it really brings happiness, and it is difficult to refuse it. I can also afford a glass of red wine from the forbidden. But the next day should be unloading. I am not drawn to cakes, pies, barbecues.

Favorite recipe?

I learned about this salad on the project. Add 80-100 g of baked meat or boiled shrimp to lettuce leaves. Refueling ready meal mixture of lemon juice and olive oil. For piquancy, you can add a mixture of spices and, if desired, a handful of pine nuts. Both tasty and healthy! I recommend. I also love broccoli soup. Throw cabbage, carrots and onions passed through a blender into boiling water, add two processed cheeses and salt to taste. After 15 minutes the soup is ready. This is delicious!

If you are 20 years old and you are not satisfied with the reflection in the mirror, go to the gym right now or just go outside. Move on, don't waste time! If you are 30 and you understand that it is time to change something, change now! Don't wait another month, a year… Start now! Not even tomorrow, but today. Consider that this day has come when it is time to start changing life for the better. If you are 40 and your appearance depressing, then it was necessary to start yesterday. And one more piece of advice for everyone. If you really do your best, and the result is not what you expected, contact the professionals, listen to their opinion. In matters of health, personal experience I was convinced that if weight loss should be significant, then only under medical supervision should you get rid of the hated kilograms. The reasons may be different, but the cure is the same for everyone - sports, proper nutrition and self-love. Be sure to believe in yourself and your strengths!

Three and a half months ago, one of the most bright participants show Elena Sadikova could not dress herself, her own daughters called her grandmother, and the eldest, Alina, believed that she did not have a mother and she did not want to be like this woman. The reason for this was overweight - at the age of 37, the arrow of the scales showed 180 kg. Trying to lose weight lasted a week

In her youth, the girl’s weight did not cause concern, rather the opposite - Lena grew up so thin that on the first of September she was carried on her shoulder by a high school student, like the smallest first-grader. At the age of 17, the girl got married and after a while her daughter Alina was born, and then Karina.

For loving family Elena was ready for anything - every day she invented culinary delights to surprise the household. Together with new dishes, the girls came into life and overweight- every year Lena gained 5-10 kg.

I could easily cook meals for 50 people - this is not a problem for me, - Elena says confidently. So the woman recovered to 130 kg.

Being a lifestyle activist, 33-year-old Elena did not lose heart, but cherished the hope of losing weight in order to take part in annual show"Bride" in Vyksa.

I tried to lose weight every year, but I only had enough for a week. And I decided, I weigh 130, which means 130. I will participate anyway, - Elena recalls.

Every year I make a wish card and I wrote in the application for participation that my wishes written on this card always come true. And one of the conceived is to go on a trip with Malakhov, who is able to fulfill the host himself, thereby proving that the card works, - Elena laughs.

The next day, the woman goes to apply for a passport, and after a while Elena turns out to be one of the 10 lucky ones whom Malakhov chose for vacation.

For two weeks we lived in a luxurious hotel, every day we went on two or three excursions, sailed on a yacht. It was a fairy tale.

After the rest, the participants became so friendly with each other that they continue to communicate to this day - every year they meet with families in Abkhazia.

Nearly died in childbirth

When Elena's husband wanted a third child, the woman refused. Allegedly, "and so you live in raspberries - a wife, two daughters." Elena was pushed to take a risky step by her husband's diabetes mellitus - after the doctors' diagnosis, the man completely drooped. And the devoted wife decided at all costs to give birth to a third child.

The pregnancy was difficult. Elena gained up to 155 kg and there were strong pressure surges.

One day I felt so bad that I was taken to intensive care. The pressure jumped 220 to 180 and they decided to do a caesarean section.

Elena managed to give birth to a healthy daughter, but for the next nine months the woman hardly walked - the seam did not heal in any way.

There was no trace left of Elena's activity. A mother of many children could hardly move around the house, and getting to the bus stop was a real journey.

My husband called me for a walk all the time. And I was very lazy. I found excuses that I needed to cook food or iron clothes.

Before going to bed, Elena seemed to have clear images of tomorrow's freshly prepared dishes. Especially satisfactorily, the stomach rumbled at salads with a lot of mayonnaise and side dishes fried in oil.

"My daughter called me a bag of potatoes"

When the mother of many children was no longer able to dress herself, the daughters sounded the alarm. Alina renamed her mother in the phone book as "1000 kg" and stopped obeying. And Karina cried every now and then, because she was afraid of losing her mother.

I asked my mother to lose weight in a good way. She didn't listen. I think that I lost my mother a long time ago and I don’t want to be like her, ”Alina said terrible words.

When Alina called me a bag of potatoes, something turned over in me. I felt so offended that I could not sleep, - says Elena.

On the same sleepless night, at three o'clock in the morning, a woman filled out a questionnaire for the "Weighted People" project. The questionnaire consisted of 26 questions of the kind “what will it give you?” "Who do you want to lose weight for?"

"Happy and fat we don't need"

Soon Elena is preparing for a Skype interview, which is successfully completed and goes to the next tour in Moscow.

When I entered the casting room, I saw a bunch of people and cameras there - photographers, editors, psychologists. They asked a lot and personal. Psychologists hit the patient, to the point, led to emotions. They said that “we don’t need happy and fat ones,” - this is how Elena remembered one of the casting days.

The most recent and difficult test was to successfully pass the medical examination. For the project, those who could withstand strict nutrition and physical activity were selected. A film crew came to the home of the selected applicants and filmed a short video.

It was trash. They filmed absolutely everything - how I rattle dishes in the kitchen, how my daughter snaps at me, how hard it is to get out of bed, how my daughter helps me put on my pants. Thank God that everything did not go on the air, - Elena sighs with relief.

Elena heard the cherished phrase after five months of casting. Then the family did not take the participation of mother and wife seriously, they believed that they would return home in two weeks. But Lena herself decided to prove the opposite and compete for a place in the final.

“My body went crazy without food”

The woman realized that she was stuck tightly while filming at the Sochi airport:

I had to go up and down the stairs many times. Filmed for 10 hours. For me it was a feat.

And the hardest part hasn't even started yet. When the participants were put on hard food, Elena's body began to rebel.

Ate very little. The body was not enough, he went crazy. Portions seemed tiny. I would have lost my temper long ago if there was anything but water in the refrigerator in the place where we lived. We only had 24/7 access to it.

Elena said " Komsomolskaya Pravda”, that the participants were assigned “brownies” who accompanied them on the street and indoors. Passports and phones were taken away from all those who were losing weight, and access to the street was restricted. Harmful habitual food was replaced with vegetables and side dishes were removed.

Breakfast was an almond flour casserole with berry syrup. Sugar was replaced with stevia. And salt was consumed with a reduced sodium content. Fruits and cereals were completely excluded from the diet. All dishes were prepared without oil, baked or steamed.

Participants were fed broccoli, squid, shrimp salads, and soups that had potatoes instead of potatoes. green beans. Coffee was replaced with chicory, and participants often had to eat healthy, but unloved by many flaxseed porridge on the project.

Now many people ask Elena for a diet, hoping to repeat the success of a woman. But the show's nutritionist Yulia Bastrigina does not recommend repeating such meals for a long time:

The participants were prepared such meals as part of the show. In an extremely short time, people had to show great results. For a person in other conditions, such a diet is contraindicated.

“I was afraid that they would send me home for tears”

Natasha made us do cardio every morning. Before breakfast, we walked for 40 minutes, ran down the street. I always ended up behind everyone and cried. It was very hard. But I was afraid to show tears, so as not to be sent home.

In Elena's team, all colleagues in one way or another came into contact with sports before. Some were wrestlers, some were swimmers. In life mother of many children there was no sport at all.

Weighing at the end of each week was also a test. According to the scenario, the participants should weigh in in short tops, which upset Elena very much:

I pulled my pants up to hide my stomach, and they tell me to dump it out. I got hysterical and started crying. I say, it's ugly and unaesthetic - my stomach is like a tractor moved. But the organizers don't care - dump it and that's it.

Closer to the final, Elena was given a video from Malakhov, where the TV presenter supported an old friend and asked not to give up.

"They called me a rokovuha"

At the final, Elena Sadikova made a splash. In the thinner beauty, neither the husband, nor the children, nor the participants themselves recognized the former obese woman. If at the beginning of the project Lena was dubbed Choli's mother, now Karmen and Rokovuha have become her nicknames.

My husband was delighted, and my daughter decided to follow my example. I'm not upset that I didn't win. I want everyone to see that I have turned from a nag into a different person, ”says Elena.

After the project, the sport was not abandoned - the ex-participant of the show immediately signed up for a local gym.

I wanted to thank everyone who wrote to me after the final. Therefore, she slept very little for two days - she answered messages and calls. There were a lot of them, I was even scared, but now I see a sincere interest and I want to write my story on Instagram.

Maxim won 2.5 million rubles and dropped a record number of kilograms. The final weighing showed minus 63 kilograms from the moment he came to the project.

The completion of the Weighted People project has changed the lives of many participants. Life after the project Weighted people of Vesta Romanova

Vesta Romanova herself comes from St. Petersburg. The height of the participant is 170 cm, and the weight is 123 kg. At the final weigh-in, Vesta weighed 83 kg, and after the project she followed all the recommendations and took care of herself, and was able to lose another 10 kg. On this moment Vesta is making plans to become a fashion designer soon.

On the project, Vesta Romanova began an affair with the finalist Pyotr Vasiliev, everyone was waiting for the continuation and believed in this couple, but fate decreed otherwise. After the end of the project, each of the participants returned to their hometowns. There was an agreement that Vesta would move in with Peter, and during the time they were apart, he would arrange comfort for living together. But after almost a month, the relationship changed. Petya admitted that when he arrived home he met a girl and fell in love with her.

Vesta was very upset by this separation, because not long before the start of the project, her beloved betrayed her and married her best friend.

After all the experience, Vesta found a good coach, continued to eat right, take care of herself. Currently, she has a loved one who appreciates and loves Vesta.

Being on the project, Vesta watched very carefully how the presenter was dressed. I was interested in which company, in which stores you can buy. And then luck happened, in St. Petersburg they opened a store of exactly that clothes, and they offered Vesta a job as a manager. She agreed, but there is one dream, and that is to produce her own clothes. Currently taking courses in sketching.

Life after the project "Weighted People" by Maxim Nekrylov

Maxim Nekrylov is from Nizhny Novgorod with a height of 187 cm and a weight of 176 kg. At the final weigh-in, the result was 113 kg.

After the end of the project, having returned home, I bought a new wardrobe, since the old one was too big. The second action was buying a gym membership. Despite all efforts, Maxim now weighs 125 kg.

When communicating with Maxim, he said that he had gained some weight due to his muscle mass. During the whole time after the project, she adheres to proper nutrition, goes in for sports every day, both in the gym and at home.

Having returned home after the project, Maxim found himself just at the time when perestroika took place, and it was not entirely easy to find a job. Currently working in one of the gyms hometown, but plans to find a decent job, perhaps return to military service.

Life after the project "Weighted People" by Pyotr Vasiliev

Pyotr Vasiliev, originally from Kaliningrad, height 184 cm, at the first weigh-in, the weight was 155 kg. At the final weigh-in, the weight was 97 kg. Petr Vasilyev became the winner of the show "Weighted People".

The main prize of the show is 2.5 million rubles, which the winner plans to spend on moving to the capital. After all, with Moscow there will be more chances for the realization of your dream. People are in similar situations and are afraid to change something, so Peter plans to help such people.

At the moment, Peter goes in for sports, and takes part in many competitions. The finalist weighed 97 kg at the end of the project, and now his weight is 104 kg.

First of all, after the end of the project, Peter bought his favorite car. Peter's further plans to complete profile education in medical school to work as a coach.
