What tires are better to buy for the field. How to choose the right tires for the field

What tires are better for Niva - such a question in Lately many motorists are puzzled. Especially difficult is the selection of rubber for driving on roads in winter time. Everything in life is interconnected: to drive, a person needs a car, and for a car to drive, it needs wheels. One of the most popular Russian cars - Niva - is no exception.

What tires are better for Niva

The wheels of your favorite car will not let you down in rainy or frosty weather, while driving off-road, if you do right choice tires. Not a single owner will allow a Niva to suddenly be left without a wheel. But factory wheels do not always please owners, despite the fact that manufacturers claim that Niva wheels have such undeniable quality as all-weather. But such obstacles as soft summer soil, the wheels do not withstand, and it is better not to go on slippery winter roads at all.

For example, if wheels are installed on the Chevrolet Niva, the parameters of which are 185/75 r16, the treads of this tire can be clogged with dirt immediately after leaving the track. And since, due to the parameters, the landing of the car is low, the car will not pass successfully on all roads. Then the bolt pattern of the mount is necessary, and the question arises of how to successfully replace the wheel.

But drivers never lose heart, and thanks to their ingenuity, advice and the necessary devices, they find a way out of any situation. To solve the problem, for a good run of the Niva on the roads, you need to take into account that the car will drive obediently if the size of the tires and rims is the right size. Only then will the machine serve for a long time, as well as the suspensions, all components, assemblies of the chassis will be in good order.

Choosing wheels and tires is not a problem at all now. Manufacturers do not skimp on praise, proving that their mud tires are better. But when purchasing it, you need to consider:

  • the need to drive on paved terrain or off-road;
  • the need to cut arches;
  • the need for a suspension lift;
  • the availability of funds for the purchase of 15-inch Chevy Niva wheels.

Fortunately, the suspension lift on cornfields 2121, 21214 is designed in such a way that it is quite easy to put tires with a rather large diameter. This makes it possible to increase ground clearance. Buying such kits is not a problem, but you need to be able to perform a suspension lift.

The arches are cut if there is a desire or a need to put extra-large rubber on the Niva - over 29 inches.

But you don’t always want to subject a brand new car to this method, so the only means left is an elevator, but the dimensions in this case will remain r15. But this is also an excellent way out, and regular tires will lose a lot in this case, since the number of rubber options in this case increases dramatically.

The off-road properties of the car will increase if you choose tires with the following parameters: 205/70/r16.

In this case, there will be no need for elevators, repair work. The Russian Kama-Flames have proven themselves excellently. But there are excellent Cordiant-Offroad mud tires with a size of r15, they are not afraid of dirt and dust on the road, mudslides, they are very practical and reasonably priced. Only winter tires will be needed to change.

A good option is the Cumho-Road-Venture M / T71 tire. The price is higher, but it will be a pleasure to drive. It rides flawlessly - the tread pattern is very large, wear will be minimal on an asphalt road, it will run flawlessly through mud, and thanks to soft rubber - through mud and swampy terrain.

In difficult places, you only need to lower the pressure of the atmospheres in the tires to 0.8.

An excellent tire for Niva, which is especially prestigious to have, is BF GOODRICH Mud Terrain. Expensive, but high-quality, with a large pattern, and even with white letters, it goes fearlessly forward both on ordinary roads and in mud.

How to choose wheels for the Niva

Great for cold weather Winter tires Medved. They are good off-road, although they are very hard to the touch, but for the countryside they are a great option. They don't require arches.

Not all wheels are suitable for Niv. There is a special catalog that describes all the available sizes of tires, rims and tires, including Niva 4x4.

In order for the car to drive for a long time, it is better to have alloy wheels with a central hole diameter of 98.5. The size of the disks for these machines is from 15 to 16 in diameter, the offset of the disk should not exceed 45. The main thing is that it does not particularly protrude beyond the body - from zero to plus. Minus alloy wheels for Niva are not provided by the factory version.

Too wide rubber wipes the arch. Wheels are best installed by borrowing r15 wheels from Chevrolet Niva wheels. They are considered the best, as they do not require any processing. In this case, the choice of tires becomes much larger, and it will be easier to select the right rubber based on the conditions in which the car is located.

What tires are better to install on wheels on Niva 15? If the tires are standard, it is better to install 205/75 r15 tires for r15 rims.

Many install alloy wheels on the Niva, and the car immediately takes on a stylish look. Now, given the above information, you can make the right choice for your car.

Absolutely every nivovoda at least once, but visited the thought that it was time to put more wheels. For the stock cornfield, of course, is good, but as they say - more wheels - more opportunities. And therefore, let's figure out what the nivovod will have to face in order to put tires of a larger diameter and, in general, whether it is worth doing. Here we will try to state everything as simply and clearly as possible, because looking for answers on the forums is long and painful for many)) For many people are absolutely not happy with driving))

By and large, here we will collect all your questions and answers to them.

Should I upgrade to 15" wheels?

I think you know that most nivovods are switching from regular 16″ disks to 15″. For what? The answer is prosaic - the choice of rubber with a fit of 15″ is many times more than 16. That’s why they switch, because they want to put the gum on, and the cat cried on 16″ options. No, of course, if you drive on, then leave the stock wheels. But, I think, soon you will feel that you should at least put Cordiant.

In general, then I will write a separate article about normal 16″ tires for the Niva. In the meantime, I recommend these cool “slippers” - they will fit on the Niva without modifications, they row perfectly and you don’t need to think about buying 15 discs. Although the choice of 15 tires is simply gorgeous, here you have Goodriches, Mudriches, Hankooks and other well-known mud tires.

What is the maximum tire size for a Niva without modifications (lift, arch cutting)?

If the car is fresh, then few people want to cut the arches - this is a fact. And therefore the answer is this - you can set the maximum 215-75-R15. This is on my Shevik, by the way, stock. However, there is immediately a counter question - what kind of disks to take for this rubber, because everything is back to back and if you get smart in the flight, then the rubber will rub on the fender liner. The answer is that you need to take discs with an offset of 40, at the edge of 35.

So if you're looking to the side, then get ready to prepare the car, cut the arches, lift, etc. Do you need it? An increase of 1.5 cm in clearance, and works per million. It makes sense to put 235 tires only when you are going to seriously offroad. And if you just want to put the largest wheels on Nivko without modifications, then your choice is 215-75-R15.

What disc offset will be optimal for parts of the Niva chassis?

The basic rule is “wider and larger wheels - less overhang”, but within reasonable limits. For many people like to set zero overhang at all and the car on sharp turns and big tires will be very unstable. keep a balance))

It all depends on the size of the wheels. As you know, factory recommendation- departure 58. Therefore, the closer the departure of your disk to this indicator, the better. ET 58 is recommended because the wheels come from the factory very small, K-156 tires seem to be 185-75-16. For such small wheels, the offset is appropriate, maybe more.

And therefore, if you decide to change the stock wheels (and 99 percent of nivovods decide after the first rides), then you will have to take other wheels with a shorter offset. Larger tire diameter means less wheel offset. But you need to keep a balance, strive to be closer to ET58. Why is this needed? The answer is, the closer the offset is to perfect, the better for your suspension and bearings.

And therefore, on wheels 205/70 / R15 (most often nivovods are set in this size and they do it right), you need wheels with an offset of 48. You can put thirty-fifths, but these will be better. The whole machine will be.

Well, if you decide to put a maximum without alterations 215/75 / R15 - then reduce ET to 35 and it will be normal. If you put on disks with forty-eight, there is a possibility of wiping.

I want to put tires 215/65/R16 - which wheels will fit?

Slippers of this size are considered almost ideal for a stock field - you don’t need to take separate disks, the dynamics are normal, the size is slightly larger than the regular one, you don’t need to cut / lift anything. If you are not going to be especially “bad”, but purely for mushrooms, berries, fishing, hunting, not particularly drilled, then the choice can be considered ideal.

According to the disks, the answer is departure 40-45, forty-fifth is better of course. Closer to the recommended - better for the typewriter. Put more - it will wipe in the inverted steering wheel.

Even more offroad.

Absolutely all nivovladeltsev repeatedly visited the idea that it's time to change the wheels and put something more. Or, as they say, the classic Niva is good, but big wheels give her more opportunities. But before installation, it is worthwhile to figure out whether such a change would be rational and whether it is worth doing it.

Native wheels on sixteenth discs do not look very attractive and do little to suit the owners of the Niva. Many solve this issue by switching from 16 inch to 15 inch wheels. For what? The answer is very easy - 15 fit tires are much easier and easier to find than any other. No, of course, if you can stay on the native Kame Flame tires and leave the native rims. Many recommend using K-139 rubber for Niva, it will do an excellent job with all tasks, and you will not need to change 16 to 15 inches.

If you decide to stay on the last option, then consider:

1) Goodrich.
2) Mudrich.
3) Hankook.

If the car is new, then few people will dare to perform any technical manipulations, therefore, it is recommended that manufacturers and technical masters set 215-75-P15. At the same time, disks should be taken forties or at least 35, smaller ones will already be irrational.

So if you're looking for a different tire, then be prepared to change the arches, carry out a lift, change the main pairs. The increase in clearance will be small, while you put maximum effort into the installation. An increase of 1.5 cm in clearance, and works per million. It is rational to put smaller tires only when you are engaged in professional off-roading.

Mud tires on the field.

M/T rubber.

Mud rubber of the classic type, has a convex and large tread pattern, the lugs are located on the sides, very light, the car will gently move off-road. It is recommended to install if you will be driving on mud roads for more than half of the way, and only a little no more than 10% on the track, because it wears out quickly.

I-569 Medved.

This type of rubber is an economy Russian manufacturer, the cost starts from 4 thousand. For installation, it is not necessary to adjust the arches to the tire parameters. The model can give odds to competitors from other countries used for any car. Rational for winter driving: the car moves smoothly on snowy roads. Riding on summer asphalt and ice is not allowed: it is difficult to control the machine on these surfaces. Available in one size - 235/75 P15 (approximately 30 inches).

Coordinate of Road.

A rational option for a domestic car. Acceptable if the car will move on any kind of road and through mud. Can be used as an alternative to Goodrich. The car moves well on asphalt, but for such rubber it is necessary to “lift” the car a little, as a result, it will be possible to use 225/75 R16 already.

Hancock Dunarpo MT RT03.

A very successful and rational option. Among the owners of Niv is especially popular. Size 235/75 P15 will cost about 5 thousand rubles. But for her it is necessary to make a lift of a few centimeters.

Hankok Dunarpo MT RT03 is a good option for those who will rarely go to the mud. Not much wear on the road, feels good off-road, but on such tires it is better to avoid clay roads. The car drives smoothly, good maneuverability.

It is worth remembering that it is advisable to use mud-type tires only in summer, because when it is minus outside, they become stiff and it becomes extremely difficult to drive a vehicle.

Road tires on the field.

K 156-1.

If you drive mainly on asphalt, then this model will be the most rational, it is designed for driving on the highway or in the countryside. Of course, if we are talking about movement in the mud, as a rule, such bald tires fly through any dirt, since it is still worth maneuvering in the mud with gear models.

Advantages of road tires K 156-1.

1) Improved appearance (the car looks strict and restrained).
2) Improved road grip when braking.
3) The service life of the tire has increased significantly.
4) The car drives smoothly.
5) Decreased risk of damage to the wheel when it gets into the pit.

Cons of road tires K 156-1.

1) Fuel consumption will increase slightly.
2) Slight increase in noise level.
3) The machine does not maneuver well at speed and during turns.

Belshina VLI-10.

Size: 175/85R16.
Speed index: 150 km/h.
Load index: 510 kg.
Weight: 11700 gr.
Tread depth cm: 0.78

Belshinov's VLI-10 models can be remembered by car owners since the days of the USSR. Today, these tires can compete with modern analogues, however, with them the car is not quite maneuverable after the rain, when the asphalt is still wet, the braking distance is longer compared to other models. The tires perform well during summer trips, during turns, it is easy for the driver to find the necessary driving algorithm.

The price of rubber for the field (2016).

Prices for tires for Niva depend on such factors:

1) Manufacturer.
2) Seasonality.
3) Class.
4) Dimension.
5) Place of purchase.
6) Condition of rubber (new, used).

When choosing tires, give preference only to proven and popular manufacturers. After all, it often happens that in the pursuit of savings, quality is lost, rubber quickly wears out and needs to be replaced. As a result, you will spend more money, since you will buy 2 cheap sets, and not one expensive one.

Consider the most popular options and their average prices.

VLI-10- Price $160 (set price).
Kama-232- Price $ 131 (set price).
K-156-1 Niva 4x4- $80 (set price).
The price of one tire BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2- ranges from 100 to 160 dollars.
Tire cost Cooper Discoverer CTT- starts from 100 to 120 dollars.
Tire price Bridgestone Dueler D 673- starts at $100.
Tires Yokohama Geolandar MT- can be bought for 80-110 dollars.
Tire prices Hankook Dynapro MT RT03- will cost from 80 dollars.
Tire cost Kumho Road Venture MT KL71- starts from 116-156 dollars.
Tire Federal Couragia MT- will cost the buyer 110-120 dollars.
Rubber I-569 Medved- a driver in Russia can purchase at a price of 80 dollars per unit.
Tire price Cordiant off Road- start at $72 each.

What tires to put on the field in winter?

KShZ K-156-1 Niva 4x4: in winter, this model has proven itself well when driving on an icy road, a little worse on packed snow.

Polar SL coordinates. The price of one tire starts at $42. These tires are perfect for driving on ice or snowdrifts. Of the minuses, one can single out a decrease in technical indicators with severe frost and at a temperature of minus four. Therefore, this model is not suitable for those drivers who like to "change shoes" before the first frost. For, otherwise, it will be irrational to drive a car, but as soon as the cold starts outside the window, this model will be simply irreplaceable.

Rubber is ideal for those who prefer to save money.

Kumho Aizen KV 22

Good cheap tires. Compared to popular analogues, this rubber is twice the market value. Rubber with spikes, very impressive dimensional models. As for the price, 215/65R16 costs $46.

Advantages:

1) price;
2) good maneuverability on an icy road.

Flaws:

1) noise while driving;
2) spikes often fall out when compared with expensive competitors. But, this will happen if you do not change the wheels at the right time, and use the tires for driving on dry asphalt.

By saving here, you can lose a significant amount of spikes per season, as much as 30 percent. For more expensive analogues, this percentage does not exceed three units.

What tires to put on the field in the summer?

Of course, every car enthusiast who respects himself and his car must have at least two wheel sets. For summer, AT tires are better suited, which should be used more than 70 percent on the highway and only 30 percent on a dirt road. Therefore, it is desirable to connect these two points in rubber so that you can ride on the track and turn off-road.

Matador MP 71 Izard.

This brand is a subsidiary of the German Continental, so the quality of these tires cannot be in any doubt. All Matadors collect only positive reviews car owners and among the comments on the Internet. Izard - will adequately show itself on the primer and light off-road. Well, on the track the ride will be very comfortable.

Dunlop Grandtrek AT2.

Dunlon tires will not disappoint even the most demanding car owner. True, they are much more expensive than their domestic counterpart. Tires are ideal for driving on wet asphalt, maximum braking distance, the car rides well both on a regular highway and on a country road.

Dunlop tires improved response model range Niva during turns, characteristic delays have been removed: good traction, it will be easy and convenient to drive a car. But for the implementation of the "rearrangement" sharp breakdowns in sliding interfere. To stay in the required lane, you will need to steer very hard and efficiently. And this can only be done when the speed is not more than 50 km / h.

What is the tire size on the field: minimum, standard, maximum?

From the very beginning, 175/80 P16 tires (standard size) were installed on the Niva, which had an off-road tread pattern with large lugs.

According to the test results that were carried out at the factories, tires - 185 R16, 195/65 R15, 195/80 R15, 205/75 R15, 205/75 R15, 215/75 R15 and others are allowed to be used on modifications of the VAZ-2121 models. close sizes.

If you do not take into account the dimensions in the modifications, then maximum tire size will be: 215/75 R15.
For a minimum, the wheels should be 31x10.5 so that the car can move in some way.

If we take into account the Chevrolet Niva, then minimum size tires: 205/70R15, maximum: 205/75R16.

Every driver periodically faces the problem of choosing tires. There are a huge number of brands on the market that offer a wide range. In this article we will talk about tires for Niva 21214 and their price. But first, let's go over the main parameters that you need to pay attention to when buying.

Size

For each car there is a specific tire size that is optimally suited to this car. Some manufacturers recommend using different rubber, depending on the season (in winter - with a narrower profile, and in summer - wide). It is for this reason that the manufacturer specifies several sizes. It is not recommended to install other tires, because. the developer, conducting tests, selected the most optimal options.

Drawing

There are 3 tread pattern options: directional, non-directional and asymmetric.

The directional pattern (1) runs through the middle of the tread and is symmetrical to the plane in which the wheel rotates. This type of pattern allows you to quickly remove water from the area of \u200b\u200bcontact between the tire and the road. That is why it is correct to install the wheel, because. otherwise, the car will "float" when there is water on the road.

The non-directional pattern (2) is symmetrical to the radial plane. Tires with this pattern are universal and do not require specific installation.

The peculiarity of the asymmetric pattern (3) is that it consists of 2 parts having different drawings. This allows you to give tires different qualities.

seasonality

When the air temperature drops below +7 ° C, the tires begin to "tan". Because of this, they lose their main quality - traction. It is for this reason that winter, summer and all season tires. Winter tires It is made of a special material that becomes soft in frost. Summer - have maximum grip and tolerate high speeds well. All-weather - for our country not the most the best option and are more suitable for countries with mild winters, where roads are not covered with high levels of snow and ice.

Load and speed index

To find out the load and speed index, you need to look at the side surface of the tire. The numbers that come immediately after the width, height and diameter indicate exactly these data. The load index has a two- or three-digit number that shows the maximum allowable weight of a car that falls on one wheel. The speed index shows the maximum permissible speed of the car, has a letter designation.

Storage

Tires can be stored with or without rims. But for each case it is necessary to apply its own method.

Tires mounted on rims

Factory equipment vaz 21214 and replacement options

From the factory, the car is equipped with tires: 175/80 R16. As a replacement, you can use: 185/75 R16, 195/80 R15 or 195/70 R15. For tuning enthusiasts: 205/75 R15 or 205/70 R15. Tires for Niva 21214 can be bought in an online store or market. The minimum price for which you can buy them is 3 thousand rubles.

In harsh operating conditions four-wheel drive and the presence of differential locks on the car - this is also not a guarantee of its impeccable patency. Therefore, when choosing tires for a car, the driver must accurately represent the conditions in which he plans to move.

For difficult conditions, special tires are needed, since universal class AT (All Terrain) does not provide the desired result. Class tires fit here MT (Mud Terrain), that is, the so-called mud tires.

mud rubber- This is a type of rubber for a car that can really improve its patency. It is ideal for mushroom pickers, fishermen and hunters who use the classic VAZ Niva. Some types of such rubber also perform well on asphalt. But its daily use is not entirely economically justified, as it leads to rapid wear (and its cost is decent).

1. Main parameters

Mud tires, as the name implies, are designed for driving on muddy roads. Overcoming obstacles and providing good traction is helped by a special caterpillar tread pattern on such rubber, which allows dirt to easily enter and exit the tread easily. In addition, such rubber has reinforced lugs that cling to stones, dirt and sand. And this makes the car even more stable during operation.

Mud tires are most often put on SUVs and off-road vehicles, but in fact they are suitable for all cars. When choosing MT class rubber for your car, you need to pay attention to its parameters. Each tire is marked so that the entire necessary information available to the buyer, but the main thing is to read and interpret it correctly. Let's take a look at these options.

The main parameters of mud tires include:

Tire width (since mud tires are much wider than road tires, you need to be careful to choose the right one for your car brand).

Tire series (this is the ratio of the height of the tire profile to its width, expressed as a percentage). Type of construction (there are radial - indicated by the letter R, as well as with a diagonal structure - indicated by the letter D).

Landing diameter(this is the inner diameter of the tire or the outer diameter of the rim expressed in inches).

load factor per tire (shows the level of permissible loads on one wheel; symbol, which is interpreted using a special table).

Speed index(denoting top speed vehicle movement; the designation is conditional, and a special table will help interpret it; mud tires are not recommended for use at too high speeds). Category tires (for cars, For trucks etc.).

Designation of requirements for maximum load and maximum air pressure in the tire. Heat resistance(indicates the resistance of rubber to changes in temperature; there are three categories A, B and C, the best indicator is A).

wear resistance(indicates the degree of tire resistance to external factors and maximum mileage).

Wet braking ability (there are three categories A, B and C, the best indicator is A).

(indicates the maximum weight that the tire can support, in kilograms).

Tire type(mud tires must be marked with the letters MT or the inscription MUD, which means dirt).

The name of the manufacturer and the country of the manufacturer (be sure to pay attention to this parameter; it is better to give preference to a well-known brand). In addition to the data from the marking, you should pay attention to such indicators as: The quality of rubber (the durability of the tires will depend on this).

The shape and pattern of the tread (the degree of the car's cross-country ability depends on this; mud tires have a tractor tread pattern with recesses).

2. The main differences between mud tires and road tires

Unlike road tires, mud tires significantly increase the car's flotation. They enable the driver to get out of the most extreme conditions. And their special shape provides excellent grip. Mud tires have characteristic differences from road tires. Consider these differences.

The main differences between mud tires and road tires:

special tread structure(the pattern is pronounced, the presence of many grooves) and a special tire edging.

Special chemical composition of rubber providing sufficient elasticity and softness.

Availability of tread protection from dirt during operation.

Mud tires are suitable for driving with reduced pressure, which will improve flotation. They can be used on both rocky soil and clay soil. With mud tires, you can drive on asphalt (although not recommended), but only on high speed, as the controllability of the car is reduced at a high level.

On mud tires, in most cases, there are no sipes. Only mud tires have lateral lugs that serve to increase traction with the road surface.

3. Types of mud tires

Mud tires are of the following types: M / T Lite - a simplified and lightweight version of mud tires with a medium depth tread and checkers with a fine pattern.

M / T Classic - tires with sufficient flotation with hexagonal checkers and lugs on the edge.

Modern M / T - tires with a complex shape of checkers; With this option, it is very comfortable to ride on asphalt.

M / T with a directional pattern - this option is easier to manage, and thanks to the pattern, they are easier to clean from dirt.

Extreme M / T - such tires have a very deep and large tread, and the pattern is more sparse.

4. What to choose from?

When choosing mud tires, it is better to give preference to well-known brands. After all, it happens that little-known manufacturers offer visually good rubber at an affordable price, but it turns out to be of poor quality, deteriorates quickly and does not provide a normal ride.

Consider the most popular and proven options for mud tires on the VAZ Niva. The BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 is a true benchmark in the world of mud tires. Such tires are universal and will suit both a professional rider and an ordinary forester. Rubber is very high quality and durable, suitable for movement with reduced pressure. It cleans well thanks to the large tread.

Cooper Discoverer STT– rubber can be used in any season and even on rocky roads. On muddy roads, tires resist slipping and sticking mud thanks to the tread groove system.

Bridgestone Dueler D673- mud tires from one of the market leaders. It provides good grip on any road surface and also looks great with beautiful inscriptions white on the profile.

Yokohama Geolandar MT- this is the most famous variant mud tires. Unique developments have revolutionized mud tyres, and these tires have become a great option for athletes. The tread pattern of these tires heralded a new era in the world of mud tires. These tires can be used on any surface, they clean well and provide maximum contact with the road.

Hankook Dynapro MT RT03- these tires have won many fans among SUV owners. They are very soft, do not wear out on asphalt, and self-clean well off-road.

Kumho Road Venture MT KL71- have a pronounced large drawing tread, and a noticeable distance between the checkers. They are well suited for off-road and are almost unsuitable for driving on asphalt, as the tread wears out quickly.

Federal Couragia MT - the tread of these tires is very close to extreme, they have large checkers and lugs on the sides. Ideal for mud, but wears out quickly on asphalt.

I-569 Medved- This is a budget tire option that has only one dimension - about 29 inches. These tires are perfect for an SUV and will give odds even to eminent brands. I-569 Medved are allowed for use in winter, but not suitable for ice and asphalt, as the car becomes uncontrollable.

Cordiant off road- These tires are convenient to use both in off-road conditions and on asphalt. The advantage of this option is its budget.

Among the manufacturers of mud tires, it is impossible to single out a single leader, since each driver chooses his own best option for himself. And the success of the trip depends not only on tires, but also on the habits of the driver, his driving style and other factors.

5. Cost in Ukraine

The cost of mud tires depends on the brand and country of origin. Tires from foreign manufacturers will cost an order of magnitude higher than domestic ones, but their quality is also better.

Consider the prices for mud tires in Ukraine. The cost of one BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T / A KM2 tire is from 2600 to 4000 UAH. depending on the size and other parameters.

The price for a Cooper Discoverer STT tire ranges from 2500-3500 UAH.

The cost of tires Bridgestone Dueler D673 starts from 2500 UAH.

Tires Yokohama Geolandar MT can be purchased for 2000-3000 UAH.

For the Hankook Dynapro MT RT03 tire, you will have to pay from 2200 UAH.

The cost per unit of Kumho Road Venture MT KL71 ranges from 2900-3800 UAH.

One tire Federal Couragia MT will cost the buyer 2400-3000 UAH.

Rubber I-569 Medved driver in Ukraine can buy at a cost of 1600 UAH. a piece.

Prices for tires Cordiant off Road start from 1800 UAH. for a unit.

6. Are modifications required before installation?

When choosing mud tires on the VAZ Niva, you can choose its dimensions in such a way as to exclude alterations to the car itself. Without redesigning the VAZ Niva, tires with a diameter of R15-R16 with a height of 70-80 mm and a width of 205-240 mm will be excellent.

But, if the driver nevertheless decided to give aggressiveness appearance car, installing tires of an impressive diameter, then you have to sweat.

Tires of a larger diameter can be installed on the VAZ Niva by choosing one of the following car modification options:

Trim the wheel arches (the easiest and fastest option).

Install a suspension lift (provides a 5 cm lift on the vehicle's suspension).

Lengthen wheel struts (e.g. replace old struts with new ones).

7. Peculiarities of operation of mud tires
