The musical Cinderella at the Rossiya Theater was presented to Muscovites by the stage entertainment theater company. The performance was created specifically for the domestic audience by an international team. Particular attention is paid to the visuals: the scenery was designed by David Gallo, the winner of the highest American theater award "Tony", the author of the stage design for the musical "Beauty and the Beast". The musical was translated into Russian by Aleksey Ivashchenko.

The production has all the attributes of a Cinderella story: a carriage, a magic dress and glass shoes, but the characters are more like modern people, and the fairy kingdom lives according to the laws of modern society. In the dramaturgy of a fairy tale, this particular character has always been very sympathetic to me. In our production, Madame is refined, luxurious, a little nervous, very ambiguous, and I hope that I can present my character in a new light. I believe that there are no absolutely negative characters and everything must have its own reason. In addition, my two daughters are also growing up, and this makes us related to my heroine.

The role of one of the sisters of Cinderella, Charlotte, will be performed by the actress Elena Melentieva.
