Gala concert of the three tenors Be my love, dedicated to the memory of the great opera singer Mario Lanza, was held in mid-November at the Musical Theater. Yaushev. lovers classical art the stars of the World Talents Foundation led by David Gvinianidze pleased. The audience enthusiastically applauded the soloist of the Mexico City Opera Alejandro Olmedo, the soloist of the Moscow musical theater them. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Oleg Polpudin and the soloist of the Moscow " new opera", the Venetian theater "La Fenice" and state theater Stuttgart to Dmitry Trunov, who performed for the first time on the Saransk stage. Tatyana Mikhailova spoke with the third tenor.

“There is a chic theater in Saransk, I really liked the acoustics,” Dmitry Trunov shared his impressions. - And also inspired by your sympathetic listeners. By the way, such an audience is mainly in provincial cities. In Moscow, she is “cold” ... At concerts, we give people our energy, and it returns in full with applause! This gives strength in a long tour. The projects of the World Talents Foundation are popularized opera art. Often, listeners admit that they listened to the classics for the first time, but from now on they will attend such concerts and invite friends. It's the best thing to hear!"

"C": What is the difference between your performances in Russia and abroad?

In Italy and Germany, I mainly sing in opera productions. There are rehearsals for about a month, then we give several performances ... Of course, there is more excitement because of the scale of the work and the material itself. Since I perform the main parts, and not the well-known arias ...

S: What qualities should a good tenor have?

Lovingness! (Laughs - “S”) He must love all people: listeners, himself and, of course, women ... With rare exceptions, all tenor arias are built on this wonderful feeling.

Follow the routine. Sleep well. Go to the gym. Healthy eating and, of course, vocal lessons matter. The mood also affects. When it is not there, you have to catch it somewhere, look for it!

S: When did you start singing?

IN early childhood. I was born in Moscow in a military family, so I had to move to different cities. He studied at the music school in the bayan class in Vladimir region while singing in the choir. Then he became his soloist. Then they moved to Tula region. There I created rock band, wrote for her texts and music in the style of "Aria". After leaving school, my heart lay on nothing but music. Entered the school at the Moscow Conservatory. And after the second course - to the conservatory itself. He studied in the class of the wonderful singer Pyotr Skusnichenko. Then he graduated from graduate school. All the years of study he sang, toured.

"C": Why did you choose the classical direction?

Academic singing is basic and the best that can be. It gives the setting of voice and breathing ... Having learned it, you can take on anything. But now, apart from the opera, I don’t want to sing anything!

"C": And what do you sing at family feasts?

Naturally the Russians folk songs! They are usually sad. I really like “Oh, you, the wide steppe”, “Not for me”, “Oh, you, little night” ... They often ask for the famous O Sole Mio! Classical music I practically don’t listen at my leisure, it is enough for rehearsals and concerts. Sometimes I include compositions by Saint-Saens, Ravel… In general, I am an omnivore - I am interested in high-quality music of any direction.

"S": Are your closest friends artists?

They are different, but all are involved in music in one way or another. These are friends from a Tula rock band. One became a sound engineer, the other sings in the church. There is a store manager in the inner circle, but also that avid music lover!

Not anymore. On the one hand, the idea is good. Talented performers sing, they make high-quality arrangements. But the problem is that not everyone can get there ... Now everyone understands this. My friend Evgeny Kungurov participated in the first season. I started watching The Voice just because of him! For Eugene, everything turned out well: he made many friends, among whom there are many famous artists. Now Kungurov hosts a program on the Kultura TV channel.

"C": Would you like to become a member of the TV program "Big Opera"?

It's hard to say ... Now I have little time for this, everything is scheduled. I'm not the kind of person to cancel contracts.

"C": Do you have opera idols?

I really like the outstanding tenor Nikolai Gedda. From Russian performers - Sergey Lemeshev, Ivan Kozlovsky. And I don't give preference to any of them. Each has its own character, timbre of voice, but both were great people!
