My favorite work of M. A. Bulgakov

Much has already been said today about M. A. Bulgakov as a great master of the word, the author of the play “Days of the Turbins”, the story “ dog's heart”, the novel “The Master and Margarita”. But the writer began with the theme of the White Guard, since Bulgakov saw it all, knew it, loved the Russian intelligentsia and wanted to understand its tragedy. “I love this novel more than all my things,” the author wrote about The White Guard. True, the pinnacle novel The Master and Margarita had not yet been written. But of course, " white guard"occupies a very important place in literary heritage Bulgakov.
Why did I like this work, which I read in one breath? The most important thing, perhaps, is not even that the writer showed the revolution through the eyes of white officers. The value of M. Bulgakov's novel is in the subtlest emotional aura of spirituality, which is poured into a world surrounded by cream curtains, where, "despite the guns", a starched and clean tablecloth, there are roses on the table, where a woman is a demigoddess, and honor - in fidelity not only to the banner of St. Andrew, the tsar, but also to comradeship, duty to the younger and weak. And this book excites me, as well as the writer, because it is full of memories of my native Kyiv.
This novel attracts us even today precisely by the strength and depth of the author's thoughts and feelings. This is a bright, poetic book about childhood, adolescence and youth, lyrical dreams and dreams about lost happiness.
And at the same time, it is obvious that The White Guard is a historical novel, a strict and sad story about the great turning point of the revolution and the tragedy civil war, about blood, horror, confusion, ridiculous deaths.
As if from the height of time, Bulgakov is looking at this tragedy, although the civil war has just ended. “The year after the birth of Christ 1918 was great and terrible,” he writes. Events dragged on and swept into their whirlpool ordinary people, mere mortals. These people are rushing about, cursing, like Alexei Turbin, who involuntarily became a participant in the created evil. Infected with the hatred of the crowd, he pounces on the boy, the paperboy: a chain reaction of evil infects and good people. Nikolka looks at life incomprehensibly, Elena looks for her ways. But they all live, love, suffer.
Many witnesses of the revolution and civil war spoke of the terrible elements that swept over Russia, crippled human fates. The world is upturned and immersed in chaos.
Immersed in the fog of chaos and the City. Not just Kyiv, not just a city, but a certain symbol of general devastation and tragedy, although it was precisely Kyiv, hometown writer.
City, love, home, war... This novel is about the fate of the Russian intelligentsia in the era of the revolution. Bulgakov painted a deeply intelligent Russian way of life, a way of life. Here they are condescending to human weaknesses, attentive, sincere. There is no arrogance, arrogance, stiffness here. In the house of the Turbins, they are irreconcilable to everything that is beyond the threshold of decency. But next to the Turbins live Talbergs, Lisovichi.
The most cruel blows of fate are taken by those who are faithful to duty, who are decent. But Thalberg and his ilk know how to settle down, know how to survive. Leaving his wife Elena and her brothers, he flees from Kyiv with the Petliurists.
There is a war of ideas. But do ideas fight? Turbins are monarchists in their views, but for them the monarchy is not so much a tsar as the most holy pages of Russian history, which are traditionally associated with the names of tsars.
With all the rejection of the ideology of the revolution, the author understood the main thing: it is the fruit of the most shameful centuries-old oppression, moral and physical, of the masses. Leading the story, Bulgakov seems to remain neutral. He notes with equal objectivity the courage of the Bolsheviks and the honor of the white officers.
But Bulgakov hates. He hates Petlyura and the Petliurists, for whom human life worthless. He despises politicians who incite hatred and malice in the hearts of people, because hatred rules their actions. With lofty words about the city, the mother of Russian cities, they cover up their cowardly deeds, and the city is flooded with blood.
Love and hate clashed in the novel, and love wins. This is the love of Elena and Shervinsky. Love is above everything in the world. There can be no more humane conclusion from the drama that we become witnesses while reading a novel. Man and humanity above all else. This is stated by Bulgakov in his novel.
Turbines managed to preserve honor from a young age and therefore survived, having lost a lot and paying dearly for mistakes and naivety.
Enlightenment, albeit later, nevertheless came. These are main point and lesson historical novel M. A. Bulgakov "White Guard", making this book modern and timely.

My favorite work- this is the work of A.S. Pushkin: a novel in verse "Eugene Onegin". The main characters of the novel are Eugene Onegin and Tatyana Larina. Eugene is a young nobleman, a handsome, educated person. In his younger years, he managed to get bored with light noise, he lost interest in life early. Eugene is quite interesting, but most of all I was struck by the image of Tatyana. She was a monogamous person. For her, love was either a great happiness or a great misfortune. Tatyana believed that true love lasts until death. She is a pure, loving, kind, sincere girl. Her image is considered ideal for many. immaculate, natural beauty the soul of a Russian girl can never be compared with coquetry lung girls behavior.

Tatyana often read novels and liked to be in solitude. She believed in legends, dreams, predictions, fortune-telling by cards. Onegin was invited to the house of the Larins by his friend, Vladimir Lensky. Tatyana fell in love with Eugene at first sight, she immediately felt in him native person and attached herself to him with all her sensitive heart and pure soul. Tormented by love, suffering and bored, Tatyana decided to write a letter to Onegin, describing her love, which she experienced greatly. She was waiting for an answer from Onegin. Suddenly he came to the Larins, and they unexpectedly met in the garden. Eugene did not want to spoil Tatyana's life, and therefore made his confession. He explained that he was not worthy of her, that he loved Tatyana only with the love of his brother and could not make her happy and become a good husband because he doesn't know how to love. But all the same, even after such a sermon, Tatyana did not stop loving Onegin - after all, you can’t command your heart. She began to suffer greatly and suffer. She began to sleep badly at night, because Onegin did not get out of her head. When Tatyana's name day came, Lensky decided to invite Onegin to the holiday, he did not want to go, but Vladimir persuaded him. Arriving at the Larins' house, Onegin saw Tatyana, in love and sad. He got angry and decided to take revenge on Lensky for this boring evening. Eugene invited Vladimir's fiancee, Olga, to a dance and started flirting with her. Lensky got angry and challenged Onegin to a duel. Yevgeny agreed and shot Lensky, although he did not want to kill him. After the duel, Onegin left the village where Tatyana lived. She thought that she could never see him again, but still she continued to love passionately with her fiery heart. She could not imagine another person capable of capturing her feelings. But when Tatyana's mother noticed a change in her, she decided to marry Tatyana to a noble, old general. Poor Tanya had no choice but to agree with her mother's instructions. And now, a few years later, Onegin and Tatyana unexpectedly met at a ball in St. Petersburg. Eugene, looking at Tatyana, was overly surprised. She looked completely different. Tatyana seemed proud, majestic, she was worshiped by the whole world. She was very amazed by such a meeting, but she did not show it in any way. Tatyana seemed indifferent and bold. Onegin immediately fell in love with her like a child. He could not believe that the same Tatyana, who poured out her whole soul to him in her letter, was so cold with him. Eugene went home all in sad thoughts. The next day, the general, Tatyana's husband, a friend and relative of Evgeny, invited him to secular evening. Onegin, without hesitation, immediately agreed. He was ready for anything, just to see Tatyana. When Eugene arrived for the evening, he found Tatyana, and was left alone with her. He wanted to talk to her, but he was so excited that he could hardly say a word. After this meeting, the heroes saw each other at the evenings every day, but Tatiana did not show her love to Eugene. He suffered and suffered, Onegin experienced the same torment that Tatyana experienced after their first meeting. He decided to write Tatiana a letter of confession, but received no response either to the first, or to the second, or to the third confession. Last meeting heroes happened at Tatyana's house. When Eugene came to her, saw how Tatyana read his letter and quietly shed tears, he fell at her feet. She shuddered, a simple maiden woke up in her, with dreams, a heart, of the old days. And then came her confession. Tatyana remembered Onegin's words that he expressed to her after her declaration of love. And despite the fact that she still loves Eugene, she rejected him. After all, it’s not for nothing that they say: “Everything comes back like a boomerang.” Tatyana uttered very touching words to Onegin, which struck me deeply: And happiness was so possible, So close! But my fate is already sealed. Carelessly, perhaps I did; My mother begged me with tears of incantation; For poor Tanya, all the lots were equal ... I got married. You must, I ask you, leave me, I know: in your heart there is both pride and direct honor. I love you (“why lie?”). But I am given to another; I will forever be faithful to him. Tatyana gave her soul and heart to Onegin for life. But she did not want to betray her husband, who loved her very much. Her honor did not allow Tatyana to succumb to temptation. I really liked this novel. I have re-read it several times. My character is very similar to Tatyana's character. Sometimes it seems to me that the same fate awaits me. I missed all the experiences of the characters through myself. I felt very sad and hurt for their fate. I do not understand: why did fate so rudely dispose of such good people like Eugene Onegin and Tatyana Larina. After all, they could be happy spouses and have beautiful kids. And it turned out that they will live out their lives in eternal suffering. This novel brought me to tears, it will forever remain in my soul.

Essay "My favorite works". Igor Severyanin "A girl was crying in the park."

In the rich Russian literature, it is not so easy to take a prominent place. And now the poems of Igor Severyanin are rarely printed. I want to draw attention to his poem "A girl was crying in the park." The author endowed the girl with the following qualities: kindness, responsiveness, pity. She felt sorry for the bird, whose paw was broken.

The girl wanted to take the bird and cure it. The father forgave the daughter for all her whims and pranks. He was shocked at the moment when the girl felt sorry for the swallow.

I liked this poem. The poet expressed his warmest feelings for all living things. He subtly perceived nature and, perhaps, one of the few, at the beginning of the century, sought to protect it. This mood he expressed in many poems, here is another example of this mood "What the Park Whispers".

In this poem, he feels sorry for the park that is being cut down. The poet called people animals because they destroy living trees. This poem shows pity for nature.

I find D.F. Cooper's The Last of the Mohicans interesting because it tells a fascinating story where the characters make different actions. My favorite character is Hawkeye. He is considered the best hunter. Hawkeye is a strong, brave, cunning person. His weapon is a deer. James Fenimore Cooper was well educated, well-read, intelligent. He wanted to become a politician. But, having once read some fashionable novel, he jokingly declared that he could write better. The family began to tease him. I had to accept the challenge...

In this collection, any student will find an essay about his favorite book. At each point (except for grades 6-7, where the opinions of the respondents agreed on Harry Potter) there are two options for an essay: for a girl and for a boy, since representatives of different sexes also have different preferences in literature.

For boy(156 words). Recently I read an entertaining book by the Russian writer Tolstoy A.N., which is called "The Golden Key, or the Adventure of Pinocchio." I really liked this book. It tells about the adventure of Pinocchio, a boy made of logs by Papa Carlo.

At the beginning of the book Pinocchio behaves like a child. He decides not to go to school and sells his alphabet. Due to the fact that he did not obey his father and did it his own way, he was deceived by Alice the Fox and Basilio the Cat. Then he almost got caught by the bloodthirsty Karabas-Barabas. Fortunately, his friends helped him: Piero, Malvina and Artemon. Pinocchio met them by chance, trying to hide from the villains, in which the Fox Alice and the Cat Basilio dressed up.

Everything ended well. Pinocchio, thanks to the help of Turtle Tortila, found the key and opened a new one puppet show to which everyone was invited. He became smarter and wiser. Everyone got what they deserved. good heroes were happy, and the main villain Karabas-Barabas was left with nothing. That's why I liked this book: everything in it is fair and reasonable.

For girl(163 words). My favorite book is H.K. Anderson "Thumbelina". This is a story about a little girl. She had to overcome a lot in order to eventually find her happiness.

Thumbelina was stolen by a toad to marry her son. The heroine managed to trick them and escape. I helped her fly away from the water lily Chafer who then left her alone in the forest. Winter was coming. The mouse did not let Thumbelina freeze. She took her to her. Soon the girl was again offered to marry. This time for the neighbor of the field mouse, the blind mole. If the wedding took place, Thumbelina would have to spend her whole life underground. A swallow saved the poor woman from marriage. The heroine found this bird in the dwelling of the mole. She saved her from death and helped her fly away. The swallow became for Thumbelina good friend. She, having learned about the trouble, took Thumbelina with her to warm lands. There the little girl met an elf and lived happily ever after.

What I like most about the book is that it teaches us that, despite all the difficulties, we must remain kind, sympathetic and believe in good.

4-5 grade

For boy(186 words). My favorite book is The Wizard emerald city» Alexandra Volkova. It seems to me that this fairy tale teaches the most important thing - friendship. Together, Ellie and her friends were able to cope with all the difficulties and make their wishes come true.

Girl Ellie is caught in a hurricane magical land. There she befriends the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion. Each of them has their own dream. Scarecrow wants to get brains. The woodcutter wants a heart. And Leo dreams of becoming brave. Ellie - go home. These desires unite the heroes. Only a wizard could do them. On the way to it, friends overcome many difficulties and become a real team. They support each other in everything. It is unity that helps them not to despair and go to the end even after they find out that the wizard will not be able to fulfill their desires. But magic is not magic, but faith in oneself.

This interesting book with a good ending. The wizard did nothing to help the heroes, but they themselves were able to fulfill their dreams. They just lacked confidence. That is what friendship is. The Scarecrow, the Lion and the Woodcutter were invited to rule different nations whom they helped along the way. Ellie, thanks to the help of a kind sorceress, returned to her home.

For girls(171 words). I read Sergei Aksakov's fairy tale "The Scarlet Flower" with my mother before going to bed. This is my favorite book. This fairy tale about good and evil, that one cannot judge a person by his appearance.

The main character of the tale is the youngest daughter of the merchant, Nastenka. She asked her father for the most unusual giftThe Scarlet Flower. The father could not but fulfill the desire of his beloved daughter. True, in exchange for a flower, the monster, in whose garden the merchant plucked a magical plant, ordered him to return back. But Nastenka loved her father very much and could not allow him to suffer because of her. She herself went to the monster, which actually turned out to be an enchanted prince handsome. The sincere love of the girl broke the spell. She got married to the envy of her sisters. Played a bright wedding.

I really liked this tale because in the end, sincere love was able to overcome everything. Good won, as it should. The merchant's youngest daughter found happiness with the prince. Her father was happy for her. And the malevolent sisters could only envy aside. This is how it should be in life: good triumphs, and evil is punished.

6-7 grade

For girl or boy(200 words). Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is one of a series of books by the world-famous writer JK Rowling. You may wonder why I chose her, because she is not the first and not the last. But this story seemed to me the most interesting and entertaining. In my opinion, this part is not only imbued with magic, but also has the features of a detective.

This time, the purpose of the adventure of Harry Potter and his friends is to find the secret room and the culprit of the attacks on the students. This is based on the legend that once a boy studied at Hogwarts at the Slytherin faculty, who believed that this school should be available only to purebred magicians. For this, he was expelled, but there are rumors that in the school building he created a secret room in which a terrible monster lives. This legend turns out to be true, and, as usual, Harry Potter is at the center of the revelation of a strange incident. With the help of Hermione's quick wit, Ron's encouragement, and Albus Dumbledore's hints, Harry Potter defeats the basilisk, a huge poisonous snake that can kill with a look.

The most fascinating thing in this book is the search for a secret room and the reasons for the development of strange events at Hogwarts. While reading, I tried to guess and get to the truth faster than the heroes. The appearance of new victims heats up the atmosphere, and the fight against the basilisk is the climax, after which everything becomes clear.

8-9 grade

For boy(245 words). fantasy work Alexandra Belyaeva "Professor Dowell's Head" became my favorite book after I plunged into its atmosphere. In it, the extraordinary follows the even more surprising. The incredible experiments conducted by the scientist are described in such a way that you become convinced of the possibility of their real implementation. That is why Belyaev is the best Russian science fiction writer for me. I have read many of his works, but this is still my favorite.

It is surprising that the main character of the novel is not a person, but only a part of him - the head, as stated in the title of the work. Professor Dowell is a great scientist who puts scientific experiments. He had an assistant, Kern, who was not afraid to turn Dowell's death into his own hands. Kern performed the operation and separated the professor's head from the body. From that moment on, the head was enclosed in a transparent flask and was in the complete power of the evil scientist. The professor was forced to help his former ally, and now enemy, in his new experiments on separating heads and arranging their life without a body. Kern wanted to become famous by appropriating the achievements of another person, but by a happy coincidence, he did not succeed. There were people who were ready to expose the liar and reveal the truth, despite all the difficulties. So Kern was brought to clean water, and the truth prevailed, although this led to a great sacrifice. Getting rid of the evidence, Kern, with the help of drugs, changed the head of Professor Dowell beyond recognition, from which she died.

It seems to me that, on the one hand, this entertaining novel with a fantastic plot can be read to relax and unwind, but, on the other hand, it gently teaches one simple truth: the truth will always prevail.

For girls(222 words). War is our past, which should not be forgotten. I like military prose. This literature helps in the imagination to find oneself on the field of hostilities and feel what happened almost a century ago. My favorite book is Boris Vasiliev's novel "I wasn't on the lists". It does not contain a detailed description of military events, but with its sincerity it evokes the strongest emotions.

In the center of attention is Nikolai Pluzhnikov. This is a young man, a lieutenant, who came to military service to Brest. Comes on June 22, 1941, the Great Patriotic War. Nikolai heroically defended the fortress, led, together with other detachments, constant skirmishes with the enemy. The forces of the German army outweighed, and soviet soldiers died one by one. Soon Nicholas was the only defender of the fortress. Despite the fact that he was alone, he still made sorties and exterminated enemies with all his might. This went on for 9 months. Randomly hiding in Once again from the enemy, Pluzhnikov ended up in the same casemate with the girl Mirra. They fell in love and were expecting a child. Unfortunately, she did not manage to get out of the besieged fortress, she was brutally killed by the Germans. Nicholas was also found, and he was killed.

Boris Vasiliev's novel ends with words about how important it is to remember why soldiers loyal to their Motherland died. But this work tells not only about the hostilities taking place in the Brest Fortress, but, more importantly, about the life specific person who endured all the difficulties of the war with honor, having fulfilled his duty.

10-11 grade

For boy(287 words). Orwell's novel "1984" is unusual in that it is written about the past, present and future at the same time. Each reader can count in his own way. It is undeniable only that it describes the life of people living in a system of absolute totalitarianism. At the same time, it is essential that the author looks not only at the structure of the state apparatus. The focus is on the life of a frequent face - Winston Smith.

The novel is given enough detailed descriptions ministries that support the closed existence of the country and its inhabitants: the ministry of peace, truth, abundance and love. These state organizations control all spheres of life, monitor not only the present, but also correct history depending on the current foreign policy situation. They control the entire personal life of their people. However, oddly enough, the desire for complete subjugation of the population does not protect the state from the presence of free-thinking people who want to change the political system and their privacy including. One such person is Winston. He gains true love which, of course, is also prohibited. Together with their beloved, they try to join the opposition society, but pretty soon they find themselves in the hands of the government.

The scariest moment in the novel is the conclusion of the protagonist. This moment is terrible not so much by the fact that Winston and his beloved were deprived of their freedom, but by the punishment intended for them. They were not jailed or sentenced to death, as one might think. They were chosen a much harsher fate. By torture, physical and, even worse, psychological influences, the heroes were forced to admit the wrongness of their views and sincerely renounce them. It seems impossible. But… nothing is impossible.

Orwell depicts before us not only a bloodthirsty world of total control over the personal life of the people, but, what is worse, he shows a society in which even the thoughts of citizens are monitored. Although, if you think about it, then people who do not have own desires, feelings and thoughts, blindly obeying the will of the ruler, can only be called creatures ...

For girl.(288 words) Why do we read books? How do you choose your favorite from so many? There are no, and cannot be, unambiguous answers to these questions. It seems to me that we call a favorite a book that we read at the right time, thanks to it, perhaps we managed to discover something new in ourselves, solve a problem, or find an answer to a long-standing question. For me, Tolstoy's novel "Anna Karenina" turned out to be such a work.

In the novel, the story is not only about personal life main character as it may appear from the title of the work. It contains several storylines, which are closely related to each other. In parallel, a story is told about Kitty Shcherbatskaya, who suffered from unrequited love, but who eventually found family comfort and peace; about Konstantin Levin, who is looking for peace of mind and the meaning of life; about the disagreements and ordeals of Dolly and Stiva Oblonsky, and so on. In addition, the novel reflects social change in society, the life and life of not only noble families, but also peasants are shown, ways of managing the economy and various opinions of the nobles regarding the transformation of their estates are described. However, the work is not limited to socio-psychological problems. Tolstoy is not only a writer and publicist, but also a religious thinker. The topic of religion, the acceptance of birth and death, occupies at least significant position in the novel. It is no coincidence that the only chapter to which the author gives a title is called "Death". One of the main characters, Konstantin Levin, whose prototype was Tolstoy himself, is characterized by philosophical reflections about faith.

I can say with confidence that Tolstoy's novel "Anna Karenina" is so multifaceted that everyone can find a piece of themselves in it, as I did. It can be called a work for all time. Heroes' personal searches, social problems And philosophical questions raised in it will always be in demand. Books give us priceless life experience, and you can re-read your favorite work again and again, discovering new details in it. Tolstoy's novel "Anna Karenina" became such for me.

Interesting? Save it on your wall!
