Ivan Vasiliev - world star ballet. Each of his performances, and on any continent, is a grandiose event for the public, which idolizes Vasilyeva ... Most recently, Masha and Ivan had a daughter. But Maria is already in the ranks. On December 16, at the Christmas ballet gala in Kremlin Palace her next premiere is the ballet "Scheherazade". Who is the partner? Of course, Ivan Vasiliev!

WITHhow many years have you been together?

Ivan: In December, I turned three years old.

Is it a lot or a little?

Maria: Depending on which side to look.

I .: With me - a year in two.

Why such speeds?

I: Because I cheerful person. (Laughs.)

Each of you had your own personal life, your own career. What united you?

M.: Scene. At the Bolshoi Theater we danced together in Spartacus, Vanya - the main part of Spartacus, I - Phrygia, his beloved. Since this all started. ( Smiling.)

In the ballet world, many are obsessed with their profession.

I: I'm just struggling with this. It's just ballet, not all of life. I guess I really realized this when I had a family, when my daughter was born. You come home, and you need to be able to switch.

M .: Of course, I want to spend as much time as possible with my little daughter, but you also need to do everything in your career.

How old is your daughter now?

I: Five months. For the sake of my daughter, I work hard, tour a lot.

Sometimes I come home late at night, and at five in the morning I have to fly somewhere again. The only thing that gives me strength and makes me gather internally is my daughter and family.

How quickly did you feel that your relationship could end in marriage?

I .: We came together like a puzzle, we immediately felt harmony. From the first week we started dating, it was so easy for us to be together. Now we have multiplied this feeling, have become complete family, this cannot but rejoice. True, I courted Masha for almost a month.

I understand, Ivan, that with your reactivity, a month is an eternity.

Seeker: For me, even an hour is sometimes an eternity, everything is relative.

M .: And it seems to me that this time somehow dragged on slowly.

I .: I was touring all the time then. Courtship was at a distance, I sent Masha parcels, flowers.

M .: Basically it was flowers.

I.: I remember once I brought you a box and told you to open it when I was already on the train. I stopped in Moscow then literally at ten o'clock.

And you, Masha, of course, liked all this?

M .: Well, what woman does not like it when she is beautifully looked after? ( Smiling.) Maybe these signs of attention were especially expensive and valuable, because real feelings arose.

When you are dancing in a duet, the scene is sure to highlight the true feelings. Did you already dance together after the birth of your daughter?

M .: Yes, on November 29 we had Spartak. In fact, being in position, I set myself the goal of getting back on stage very quickly. I realized for myself that if I settle on maternity leave, I will never come back.

Our profession is the business of the young, and if you fall out of the process for a long time, then you can miss a lot. So, as soon as the doctors allowed physical activity, I began to go to ballet class. This happened a month after giving birth.

Everything spun so quickly that at the beginning of the season I was actively involved in the work. It was difficult, of course. Vanya saw my torment, in the summer he went to the theater with me, gave me a class, helped me get in shape.

I .: I could not convince Masha that we still need to stay at home. I'd love to sit in her place. (Laughs.)

M .: While on maternity leave, I went to performances in which Vanya danced. "Spartak", "Ivan the Terrible" in the Bolshoi ... I flew with him to St. Petersburg, to Novosibirsk, even to Japan. I really wanted to go on stage!

At one time there was a high-profile story when Ivan Vasiliev, already being the premiere of the ballet and having all the possible privileges in the theater, unexpectedly left the Bolshoi. Do you, Vanya, have no desire to go back?

I.: I left, but in fact I did not go anywhere. Because already a month after “leaving” the theater, I again began to collaborate with the Bolshoi as a guest soloist, and I continue to cooperate to this day. I have a lot interesting projects Worldwide. On this moment situation with Bolshoi Theater I like. I like to come there, to dance my favorite ballets, the Bolshoi is my first theater, my home, my beginning, and I feel very comfortable here.

I remember well your first performance at the Bolshoi in 2006. You danced in Basil's Don Quixote, the main male part, the most difficult part, designed for a mature dancer, and you were only seventeen years old then! This is a unique case for the Bolshoi Theatre, there has never been anything like it before or since.

M.: Vanya is a unique case in itself. ( Smiling.) I mean it brilliant career. On stage, he is honest, always gives his best - even if there are injuries, he will never save strength. And in life he is as open as on stage.

That's just about strength and energy. Once, a very dramatic episode happened at the creative evening of the ballerina Ulyana Lopatkina. Ivan began to dance a fragment from the ballet "The Flames of Paris", suddenly lost his balance, fell, then started dancing again and as a result, right on the stage, he lost consciousness. Personally, it was painful and scary for me to watch all this ...

I .: Yes, I was dancing then with a temperature of over forty, only backstage I came to my senses, on some kind of bed. They called an ambulance.

And who needs such sacrifices and why?

I: Well, I can't say no. ( Smiling.)

Were you scared then?

I: No, it was not scary. It was embarrassing.

M .: Not a single artist is immune from this. There are things that cannot be controlled on stage. Injuries happen. I had a broken leg. I “broke down” on the run of a new performance. I worked with this fracture for about a week, because the doctors did not see the fracture on the X-ray.

I walked on crutches for a month, then it took a long time to recover. And I had so many premieres planned then! Of course, you need to take care of your health. Need more time to rest. Even Vanya already understood that he needed to take care of himself. I am responsible for the health of our family. All the time I make sure that my husband takes vitamins, does massages ...

One more moment. I remember very well how, before my debut in Don Quixote, just before the start of the performance, I asked Ivan if he was worried when he stepped on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater for the first time. And Ivan self-confidently answered: “Why worry about something?” I was very surprised by this reaction.

I .: Probably, it was youthful maximalism, a defensive reaction. I can say that if the excitement disappears before the performance, you can leave the profession.

So you were lying then?

And of course. And perhaps because of the adrenaline, I did not understand how much I was worried. Now I understand that no matter how much I dance, I get more and more worried. When you grow, when you reach a certain level, you become responsible for what you do. Every time you step on the stage, you must become best version himself.

At seventeen you had Don Quixote. Where to grow next?

And you succeeded. You've had a phenomenal career and are applauded all over the world.

I .: Over the years, I have managed to dance in many places. I worked with the best dance troupes in New York, London, Munich, Rome... I was Ivan the Terrible, and Spartak, and the Prince in Swan Lake, and the Evil Genius there. I don’t have such that, they say, like this, you put me as an Evil Genius, and I only want to be a prince. If the role is interesting to me, let it be secondary, what's the difference. After all, you can go out and dance it so that it becomes the main one!

It's right. You seem to have very different personalities. If Ivan is temperamental, explosive, then Masha is calm, unflappable...

I.: In some ways, we are still similar. For example, both are homemade, such “couch troops”. Most big buzz when you can sit at home together, talk ...

I know that Masha is a native Muscovite, but Ivan has a rich geography.

I .: Yes, it shook me. I was born in the Primorsky Territory, and studied ballet in Minsk. ( Smiling.)

Why Minsk and not Moscow?

I.: I was advised good teachers there. From Vladivostok we moved to Ukraine, I was twelve years old. From there to Minsk.

Interestingly, Vanya, were you told from the very beginning that you have outstanding ballet abilities?

I .: At the age of five, I already danced a variation from Don Quixote ...

...Wow!

I.: So, probably, there was a potential. I can’t say that everything was easy, but I liked to work since childhood.

I didn’t like to idly run around the school, play tag or sit in a computer club, it was simply not interesting to me, and what’s the point of all this? He only did what could bring some result. I have always been a leader, even English language learned for this reason. When I came to work under a contract in New York, at the American Ballet Theatre, I thought: how is it that I won’t be the soul of the company? And he began to learn the language. I guess it's in my nature to be the center of attention. ( Smiling.)

Were you invited to the Bolshoi after winning the Moscow International Ballet Competition? In any case, then everyone was just talking about the phenomenal Ivan Vasiliev.

I .: They invited a little later. gold medal at a competition in Moscow I received at the age of fifteen.

М.: By the way, Ivan and I met there for the first time: that year I also became a laureate.

I .: No, we first met before, when you came to a concert to us at the Minsk School. Don't you remember? I participated in a one-act production staged especially for me, and Masha danced in The Nutcracker. True, then we did not meet.

Why?

I.: I was generally a shy boy. He went on stage, danced, and then remained in his own world. Every time a ballet was given in the Minsk theater, I was sure to be in auditorium, on the gallery. Classmates at the school were surprised: “Why do you go to the same production so many times?” But I didn’t understand how you can skip, the performers are different every time, there is a lot to learn.

Your older brother Victor is also into ballet. Have you followed in his footsteps?

I.: No, rather, he followed mine. It so happened that we began to study together in a folk ensemble, and then I was ahead of him everywhere. I went to Minsk, a year later he arrived. When I came to the Bolshoi, he entered the Moscow Academy of Choreography. Now my brother works at the Bolshoi Theater in Mimans, so there is only one Vasilyev in the state! ( Smiling.) And I was called to the Bolshoi three times.

Did you have to persuade?

I .: The first time they called for a conversation when I was at a competition in Perm, so I could not come. I won the Perm competition, and they called me a second time, but at that time I had state exams at the school. And on the third time, they actually sent me a train ticket. I got acquainted with the management, and I was immediately offered to become a soloist.

Usually, everyone starts with the corps de ballet.

I .: In the Bolshoi, this happened for the first time: seventeen years old, only with school bench- and immediately a soloist.

Did you think that all this was in the order of things, or did you perceive it as gifts of fate?

I.: What are the gifts of fate? I just wanted to make it happen. At the age of twenty, I already became the premiere of the ballet, bypassing the position of the leading soloist.

In Masha, in this sense, everything is even, smooth, step by step.

M .: Yes, I went through all the steps at the Bolshoi: from the artist of the “second corps de ballet” to the leading soloist. First main role Anastasia became in Ivan the Terrible, then Spartak, and then new interesting roles.

And Ivan is now also a choreographer. Tell me, when did you feel the need to stage ballets?

I.: Even before dancing. I always want to do something new, otherwise it's boring. Masha constantly heard that I wanted to bet, and then one day she told me: “If you want, bet.” That is, in fact, pushed me to realize my dream.

M .: When Vanya composes a ballet, this separate story. A person is completely immersed in his world. He can wake up in the middle of the night, turn on the music, start telling me something or even showing me something.

I .: Several of my productions are in the repertoire of the Mikhailovsky Theater, where I serve today.

And December 31 on stage Hermitage Theater there will be a premiere of my two-act ballet "A Christmas Carol" based on Dickens' story "A Christmas Carol", I myself dance a hero named Scrooge.

If Ivan dances on December 31 in St. Petersburg, then you will celebrate the New Year separately?

I .: I specifically scheduled my premiere for sixteen hours, so that later I could catch a plane to Moscow. So New Year we will definitely meet together!

Ivan Vasiliev (see photo below) - famous artist ballet. Initially, he performed at the Bolshoi Theater, but then became the premiere at the Mikhailovsky. In 2014 he received the title of the Russian Federation. He recently made his debut as a choreographer with the performance "Ballet No. 1". The article will describe short biography artist.

Childhood

Ivan Vasiliev was born in 1989 in the village of Tavrichanka (Primorsky Territory). The boy's father was a military man, and the family often had to move. Soon Vasiliev Sr. was transferred to Dnepropetrovsk. Ivan's childhood passed there. At the age of four, he went with his older brother and mother to a casting in a folk ensemble for children. Initially, only my brother wanted to dance, but the future artist showed interest in them so zealously that the teachers enrolled him too.

Studies

At the age of seven, the boy saw ballet performance. Ivan immediately fell in love with this art form. He transferred from folk ensemble to a choreographic school, and then began to study classical dance at the Belarusian State College. Vasiliev's director was the famous choreographer Alexander Kolyadenko. By the way, Ivan was enrolled in college immediately for the third year, as he easily performed elements that his peers did not even know about.

During his studies, Ivan Vasiliev completed an internship at the Belarusian Theater. There, the young man played in such productions as Le Corsaire and Don Quixote. After graduating from college, he went to Moscow.

Ballet

In 2006, Ivan Vasilyev was able to get on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater. It took him four years to achieve this goal. It was during this period that the young man became the prime minister of the troupe. Vasiliev played the main roles in such performances as Giselle, Petrushka, The Nutcracker, Don Quixote and Spartacus. Also, together with N. Tsiskaridze, he participated in the international project "Kings of Dance".

At the end of 2011, information appeared in the media that the leaders of the Bolshoi Theater and Ivan Vasiliev were moving to St. Petersburg. And it was not even the Mariinsky. Young people got a job at the Mikhailovsky Theater, whose rating was at a low level. It turned out that Ivan needed a serious challenge, severe motivation for further growth in the profession.

Vasilyev periodically appears on the stage of the American theater. He is also invited to famous private performances. For example, for the opening ceremony of the Sochi Olympics (the painting “The First Ball of Natasha Rostova”) and the project “Solo for Two”, made in the contemporary style.

Choreographer

Ivan is said to be among the highest paid dancers in the world at the moment. But Vasiliev is of little interest. First of all, ballet for him is an art. Recently, a young man tried himself as a choreographer. The artist staged a performance called "Ballet No. 1".

Ivan Vasiliev: personal life

As soon as the young man moved from Belarus to Moscow, he met Natalya Osipova, who worked as a dancer. Together they reached the highest ranks in the theater - the premiere and prima. Natalya and Ivan became a couple not only on big stage, but also in real life. Their acquaintances have been waiting for the wedding of the dancers for many years, but in the end, Osipova and Vasiliev broke up.

Soon the hero of this article met at the Bolshoi Theater new love. She turned out to be a ballerina. She danced with Ivan in the production of Spartak. A spark immediately ran between the young people. It's funny that Vasiliev invited her on a first date to the Bolshoi Theater. True, not to the ballet, but to the opera.

After some time, Ivan made an offer to his beloved. And everything was very romantic: in a room strewn with rose petals, Vasiliev knelt down and handed Maria a ring from a famous jewelry brand. Naturally, the girl could not resist and agreed. The wedding took place in June 2015. A year later, the couple had a daughter, Anna.

Ivan Vasiliev is changing his profession. Ivan Vasilyev got married. Ivan Vasilyev is ready to say "no" to the President of Russia for the sake of homemade meatballs... Famed ballet dancer, star of the Mikhailovsky and Bolshoi theaters Ivan Vasilyev told the editor-in-chief of HELLO! Svetlana Bondarchuk about the recent wedding with Maria Vinogradova, which took place on June 6 in Moscow, a new round in his career - in May, Ivan made his debut as a choreographer, presenting in concert hall"Barvikha Luxury Village" his first performance "Ballet No. 1" - and also remembered interesting stories from his ballet past.

Ivan Vasiliev and Svetlana Bondarchuk during an interview at the Vanil restaurant

Svetlana. I think that even those who are not so familiar with ballet and have not seen Ivan Vasiliev on stage remember him at the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Sochi, in that part of the show where the scene of Natasha Rostova's first ball was played out. A handsome young man with romantic curls in a spectacular hussar tunic performed several jumps - incredible flight jumps that were simply breathtaking.

I happened to see Ivan Vasiliev's duet with ballerina Natalya Osipova more than once on the stage of the Bolshoi - it always made a huge impression. And once it turned out that I was at the epicenter ... I don’t want to say a scandal, but Natasha and Ivan then really shocked us. Imagine HELLO! conducts photography at the Mikhailovsky Theater and suddenly we learn that Natalia Osipova and Ivan Vasiliev have signed a contract with the Mikhailovsky Theater. Incredible: the stars main stage countries "escaped" to St. Petersburg. And not even to the Mariinsky. Literally half an hour later, the information spread to all news agencies, in the evening they talked about it in the news on central channels. But we were the first to know!

Today, fortunately, nothing prevents Ivan from dancing both at the Mikhailovsky Theater and at the Bolshoi (now he is a guest star here). Ivan recently made his debut with his own choreography: he presented his first project, Ballet No. 1, at Barvikha Luxury Village. I'm sure it wasn't the last show. The stars of the Bolshoi participated in the performance, but I can say for sure that on that evening the most intent glances were directed at the ballerina Maria Vinogradova. Many already then knew that they were engaged to Ivan Vasiliev. And now I am pleased to inform the readers of HELLO! that Ivan and Maria got married last Saturday, on which I sincerely congratulate them.

Svetlana. Ivan, we met you, if I'm not mistaken, about seven years ago. It was in the Chapurin bar. It was a lot of fun. We even drank, I remember.

Ivan.(Laughs.)

Svetlana. At that time I didn’t have many acquaintances from the world of ballet, and it was a discovery for me that you, ballet people, are so completely earthly and nothing human is alien to you. You can have fun and dance. You, in my opinion, wonderful feeling humor, and, in fact, what I'm talking about: I would like you to repeat for readers HELLO! that amazing story related to the Olympics, which he once already told me.

Ivan. Yes, it was really funny. The fact is that while preparing for this ceremony, I spent a week and a half in Sochi. I was not allowed to go to Moscow even for one day, although I tried with all my might to go there. It is clear that after the opening ceremony, the first thing I rushed to the hotel, grabbed a suitcase, got into a taxi to get to the airport as soon as possible, and from there to Moscow. Because in Moscow Masha was already waiting for me with turkey cutlets with pepper, which she cooked and even sent me pictures via Viber. And here I am in the car driving, and suddenly - bam! - a call: "Vanya, Vladimir Vladimirovich is gathering everyone tomorrow. You should be there." I say: "No, I can't, I have a plane!" - "But this is Vladimir Vladimirovich ..." And then I give out: "Well, maybe he will be able to meet me in Moscow?" - "Vanya, it will be rather embarrassing for me to tell Putin about this." Well, embarrassing, so oops! And I hung up. Let's go further. Ten seconds pass, and suddenly it starts: I got a call from everyone who could. Masha finally called me: "Vanya, okay, the cutlets will wait, well, stay there already." In general, I asked to turn the car around and stayed another day.

Svetlana. So love is the most important thing for you. Love for homemade meatballs. (Laughs.)

Ivan. Yes, Masha jokes about me: "That's why you love me - for cutlets."

Svetlana. Is she really that good at cooking?

Ivan. My wife cooks everything perfectly: from elementary buckwheat with mushrooms to Tom Yum soup. In general, she pampers me terribly. I'm so spoiled thanks to her and terribly fastidious. I want only the most delicious. (Laughs.)

Svetlana. The other day you and Masha got married, congratulations again!

Ivan. Thank you.

Svetlana. But a month earlier, another important event happened for you: you made your debut as a choreographer. Was it really such an old dream?

Ivan. We can say that the dream of childhood. Because, as a 12-year-old teenager, I already knew that I would definitely bet. Now I have such a stage in my career: I danced a lot of what I thought, and now I need to move on. I want to not just dance, I want to create something new, interesting. In this project "Ballet No. 1" I have collected the best artists Big: Denis Savin, Kristina Kretova, Anna Okuneva, Alexander Smolyaninov... I saw at rehearsals that they are really passionate about the process, that they want to work, they are open to any of my craziest ideas. (Laughs.)

Svetlana. If this was your old dream, surely there was someone who pushed you to this decision, helped you take a step?

Ivan. Masha, for which I am very grateful to her. I am such a person, I always have a lot of plans in my head. I can hurt them endlessly. Walking around the apartment until three in the morning, inventing something, thinking, saying: "I want, I want, I want." And at some point, Masha simply said to me: "Do you want? Come on!" You see, I needed to hear these words from native person: "Let's". I needed this shot "to start" so that I ran. And now I will run until I reach the red flag on a high mountain.

Svetlana. Masha must be warned so that she still takes care of you. (Laughs.)

Ivan. Now she herself is tormented by the fact that I sometimes jump up in the middle of the night: I have inspiration. I start to come up with new choreography, wander around the apartment, suddenly find myself in the kitchen. I don’t understand myself how I ended up there ... (Laughs.) Masha comes to the kitchen. The light is off, I'm standing in the dark, somehow twitching there ... (Laughs.) She looks: "Vanya ..."

Svetlana. It seems, Ivan, that you are not looking for easy ways. You have a wonderful career as a dancer, and suddenly you are embarking on a path unknown to you - choreography. You dance in the Bolshoi - suddenly you go to the Mikhailovsky Theater.

Ivan. You're right. When I get too comfortable, I want to change everything and start over. To leave the Bolshoi, where I could dance Spartacus, Don Quixote and so on for years, and go to the theater, which did not sound the same as it does now, and grow in it in a new way.

Svetlana. Your dad, a military man, apparently also did not look for easy ways when he sent you to ballet. For a man to send his son to ballet is, you see, a little unusual. Especially if he himself is not associated with this art. How did it happen?

Ivan. It was difficult not to give me up, because, in fact, from the age of four I danced in a folk ensemble in Dnepropetrovsk, where we moved from the Primorsky Territory, where I was born. And then, when I saw ballet for the first time, I said that I only wanted to do ballet.

Svetlana. How old were you?

Ivan. Seven years.

Svetlana. How did you know it was yours?

Ivan. I don't know, it's like something is guiding me through life. As if something inside sits and pushes me in the right direction. And I think that I went in the right direction: I'm doing what I love. I go to work not under duress, but with pleasure. Only if you don’t have to get up for her at seven in the morning. (Laughs.)

Svetlana. So do you like to sleep?

Ivan. For me, sleep is essential. I love to sleep a lot. All theaters suffer from this. But my current status in ballet allows me to ask for late rehearsals.

Svetlana. Did you immediately stand out in the choreographic school?

Ivan. I have always stood out in character. I have the character of a leader: I strive to be the best in everything I undertake. But my teachers, on the contrary, doubted. Ensemble teacher folk dance said: "Well, where does he go to ballet? Look, he has short legs, small, plump..." Time showed that he was wrong.

Svetlana. Absolutely. Fundamentally. But still there are certain physical standards. It turns out that you are destroying stereotypes?

Ivan. Standards are all relative. If you compare me to today's long-legged princes, then yes, I am beyond the standards. But if you look a little wider or a little further, into the past, then no. Vladimir Vasiliev is not tall, Rudolf Nureyev's legs were not the longest.

Svetlana. You remind me most of all of Nureyev.

Ivan. Thank you. This is my favorite dancer.

Svetlana. But, when you started, everyone, probably, rather compared you with Vasiliev? Maybe even thought you were his relative?

Ivan. Yes, there were a lot of questions. Moreover, my dad is the full namesake of Vladimir Viktorovich Vasiliev. Once I got a call from some competition and asked: "Ivan, can you take part in our gala concert?" I replied, "Unfortunately, I can't." - "Will your dad be able to come to us, sit on the jury?" I replied: "Of course, he can. But he will only evaluate the front step."

Svetlana. You got, one might say, by inheritance the crown party of Vasilyev - Spartak. Are your Spartacus similar?

Ivan. No, we are completely different Spartacus. He is the Spartacus that was needed at that time: the greatest and noblest hero.

Svetlana. What heroes are needed now?

Ivan. My Spartacus, in my opinion, is more down to earth, more humane. As they say, life. But, of course, Vladimir Viktorovich always made a colossal impression on me in this game. It is impossible to repeat it. In general, it is impossible to copy artists of such a scale as Vasilyev, Lavrovsky, Vladimirov, Nureyev. And the one who strives for this is mistaken. You need to create your own.

Svetlana. But here I can say for sure what unites you with Vasiliev - a pronounced male charisma. Although after all, in the view of the layman, a ballet dancer is, frankly, not a very masculine profession. Well, are there certain stereotypes? They also exist for actors. But you don't have it at all.

Ivan. Actually in ballet world a lot of real men. (Laughs.) And sometimes we laugh at ourselves: what kind of profession we have chosen - we paint eyelashes, put on tights. We love to tease this. Because there are ballets - the so-called blue classics like "Giselle", "La Sylphide", where all the dramaturgy fits into a simple circuit: fell in love - swore - married. Or fell in love - swore - everyone died. It's just a pleasure to neigh over pantyhose. Although at the same time it is art, it is a fairy tale. And we are inside this fairy tale.

Svetlana. Ivan, do you and Masha dance a lot together now?

Ivan. Yes, we dance in many places: in Giselle, La Sylphide, Spartak and Ivan the Terrible.

Svetlana. Tell me, are you the owner? Jealous man?

Ivan. Yes.

Svetlana. For example, if your wife will dance with another partner?

Ivan. This is absolutely normal. This is a theatre. And if I dance with another partner, I have no doubt that Masha will survive this calmly. I dance in all the theaters of the world, with different ballerinas of different nationalities. It's just our profession.

Svetlana. But what about these close contacts in ballet? All these support...

Ivan. Well, that's how we were brought up. We have been dancing a duet dance since childhood. We take the girls by the legs to lift them up. They don't take it as an insult. (Laughs.)

Svetlana. Explain to me: what is it like to dance with the woman you love? On the one hand, this is probably easier, but on the other ...

Ivan. More responsible. This is a double burden on the nerves. I will never forgive myself if I drop my soul mate. (Laughs.) Although, thank God, I haven't dropped anyone yet.

Svetlana. I know that you are one of the highest paid ballet dancers in the world. But now, when you have a family, your financial requirements, probably, should increase even more? To what extent is the money side of the issue decisive for you?

Ivan. I never started from the number of zeros in the fees. And I'm not going to do it in the future. Creativity is my priority. If I'm interested in a job, it doesn't matter how much I get paid for it. Speaking specifically about choreography, the main thing for me as a choreographer is to create something new. That's my goal now.

Svetlana. Do you want children?

Ivan. Yes very.

Svetlana. What about Maria's career? She's ready?

Ivan. Certainly. Everything has its time.

Svetlana. Will you have a honeymoon trip?

Ivan. Unfortunately, we only have a two-week holiday. We are going to Dubai in August.

Svetlana. No, it's terrible. It is very hot there at this time.

Ivan. Late, everyone. We are going there already. Because we spent the last vacation in Mauritius and it was cold there. This summer I decided to go to a place where one hundred percent will be very hot.

Svetlana Bondarchuk and Ivan VasilievSvetlana. Ivan, I want to ask you: what is the most important thing in life for you? What comes first?

Ivan. My favorite. Basically I live for my family. If I didn't have a family, my beloved woman, mother, brother, grandmother, I don't know what I would do... Live for myself? I don't understand this at all. I am not doing art for myself and I am not dancing for myself. I have a family, I have a rear, I have somewhere to return, there are those for whom I go to the ends of the world, twitch in pantyhose, sweat, then I don’t sleep on the plane. Everything is just for them.

Svetlana. Thank you Ivan. You know what I thought: invite me to your rehearsal sometime?

Ivan. With pleasure.

Svetlana. When you will bet. I'm very interested in how this happens, honestly.

Ivan. With pleasure. Although in these moments I'm a little like a madman. But I like it.

Facts about Ivan Vasiliev:

Dancer Ivan Vasiliev was born in the village of Tavrichanka in the Primorsky Territory into a military family. In 2006 he graduated from the Belarusian Choreographic College and in the same year became a soloist of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. A year after entering, he was already entrusted with the main role in the ballet "Spartacus" by Yuri Grigorovich.

In 2009, Ivan participated in the program "Kings of Dance" along with five other best dancers in the world. In 2012, he became a guest soloist with the American Ballet Theatre, and a year earlier he moved from the Bolshoi Theater to the Mikhailovsky troupe in St. Petersburg.

Now Ivan Vasiliev dances both at the Mikhailovsky Theater and at the Bolshoi as a guest soloist. This year at the Bolshoi he made his first appearance in main party in the ballet Ivan the Terrible.

The duet of Ivan Vasiliev and ballerina Natalia Osipova has been one of the loudest in the ballet world for several years. Despite the fact that fate separated the artists in different directions, they often continue to perform together.

Ivan Vasiliev and soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Maria Vinogradova got married on June 6 this year. Two and a half years ago, they first danced together in the ballet "Spartacus" and since then they have been dancing together: on stage and in life.

Ivan Vasiliev's schedule is scheduled for months ahead, today we can already say where he can be seen on stage next season. On September 26, the dancer will take part in the Kremlin Gala "Stars of the Ballet of the 21st Century" at the State Kremlin Palace, an annual event held by the V. Vinokur Foundation in support of culture and art. Ivan will present a fragment from the ballet "Scheherazade" in a duet with Maria Vinogradova, as well as his own choreographic number to the music of Max Richter, which he will perform together with the soloist of the Bolshoi Theater Denis Savin.

Maria Alexandrova and Vladislav Lantratov

Premier of the Bolshoi Theater Vladislav Lantratov and People's Artist Russia has known Maria Alexandrova for a long time, but in the summer of 2014, while Petruchio was taming the obstinate Katarina on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater, the artists entered into an alliance not only creative.
Having previously experienced emotional and physical traumas, Maria, according to mutual friends, accepted Vladislav's feelings as a reward. Joint walks along the lanes of the Arbat, jewelry surprises and gatherings in Coffeemania on Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya noticeably softened the laughter and dance of this strong woman, who even rewarded her Odette with the severity of a suffering nature.

Before Alexandrova, Lantratov met with ballet dancer Anastasia Shilova.

For piquancy, it is worth noting that Maria is 10 years older than Vladislav. In addition, she left her husband, artist Sergei Ustinov, whom she married in 2007.

In my opinion, purely externally, Vladislav is inferior to her husband, an artist,
but, as they say, do not drink water from the face)

Ivan Vasiliev and Maria Vinogradova

Vasiliev is the premier of the Mikhailovsky Theater and already, at 26, an Honored Artist of Russia. Vinogradova is the leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Their romance began with a joint work in the production of "Spartacus" in 2013, in which Vasiliev danced Spartacus, and Vinogradova - Phrygia.

Ivan Vasiliev invited Maria Vinogradova on their first date... to the Bolshoi Theatre, but to the opera. The couple's romance developed more rapidly than the second act of La Bayadère. The Mikhailovsky Theater premier quickly decided that a $50,000 Graff ring would be the best way to express his feelings for his beloved. On the day "X" Vasiliev strewed the floor in the living room with rose petals, fell on his knee in front of Vinogradova and offered her his hand and heart. The girl did not resist.

« What kind of person is he? Best. My. Not in the sense that he is my property. He is my man. I feel comfortable with him", - said Maria Vinogradova in an interview with Tatler magazine, the cover of the February issue of which was decorated with this bright couple. It’s impossible not to admire Ivan and Maria (it’s tempting to switch to the folklore “Ivan da Marya”) - they are young, beautiful, happy, in love and are not going to hide it.

This summer, the lovers officially signed)

Marriage with Ivan is the second for Mary. She was previously married to her brother CEO radio station "Silver Rain" Dmitry Savitsky - Alexander, the owner of the company "Trekhmer".
After the divorce, the ballerina had a relationship with the host of the Eagle and Tails show, Anton Lavrentiev, for two years.

It is worth mentioning that for a long time, almost from the moment of graduating from college, Vasiliev met with a prima ballerina Natalia Osipova. Everyone was already sure that they would get married and live together to the grave, but unexpectedly, two years ago, the couple broke up.

Now, as you know, Natalya Osipova is dating Sergei Polunin, who has repeatedly declared his commitment to the ballet standard))

In addition to an affair with Osipova, he dated Covent Garden ballerina Helen Crawford and an aspiring Bolshoi ballerina Yulia.

Artem Ovcharenko and Anna Tikhomirova.

Artyom and Anna met at the ballet school at the Bolshoi Theatre, entered the Bolshoi with a difference of two years, both went from choreographers to soloists, and Artyom was awarded the title of prime minister 2 years ago.

Young people have been dating for 7 years. And they recently announced that they will get married soon).

From the interview:

WITHhow many years have you been together?

Anna: In October it will be seven years. And we met much earlier, when we were teenagers. Once, at a New Year's disco at the choreographic school, Artyom invited me to dance and said that he liked me. But career and uch:) took away all the strength, there was no time for relationships. However, years later we ended up in the same theater - the Bolshoi. Then Artyom began to take care of me seriously. And I did this until I finally realized that I really want to be close to this person.

Anastasia Stashkevich and Vyacheslav Lopatin

Prima ballerina and leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theater

got married in 2011)

Denis and Anastasia Matvienko

The premier of the Mariinsky Theater has been married to the soloist of the same theater for twelve years, they are raising their two-year-old daughter Lisa.

From the interview:

Nevertheless, you still chose a ballerina as your wife - Anastasia Matvienko. So, is there something special about them?

Ballet dancers only marry ballet dancers because they are too busy. If you train all day, rehearse, and in the evening you also dance in a performance, then where will you go to get acquainted? So it turns out that most of the marriages are intra-ballet.

Nastya and I met at the Serge Lifar Ballet Competition, where I was not supposed to perform - I just came to watch. Standing backstage, I saw a girl dancing on the stage - beautiful, bright and very talented - it was obvious right away. We met, I tried to look after Nastya, but at first special success didn't have. She even did not immediately answer the marriage proposal, which I made by putting a diamond ring in the pocket of her jacket. But, fortunately, we have been together for eleven years already, we have a wonderful daughter, Liza, who I consider the main victory in my life.

Did your wife decide to give birth without fear for her ballet career?

Today, ballerinas do not have to sacrifice their careers for the sake of their personal lives, nor their personal lives for the sake of their careers. Simultaneously with Nastya - plus or minus a couple of months - several more ballerinas of the Mariinsky Theater gave birth to children. My wife recovered very quickly and started dancing again four months after giving birth.

Leonid Sarafanov and Olesya Novikova

The Premier of the Mikhailovsky Theater is married to the first soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre. They met and got married when Leonid was the premier of the Mariinsky Theatre.

The couple has three children. Five-year-old son Alexei, two-year-old Ksenia. And literally two weeks ago, on December 16, the son Alexander was born.

Ekaterina Kondaurova and Islom Baimuradov

Prima ballerina and leading soloist of the Marinsky Theater Ekaterina Kondaurova and Islom Baimuradov could play the unearthly beauty of vampires from the Twilight saga: plastic movements, eyes that look into the very heart, insinuating, more precisely, bewitching voices. But the artists would still not exchange their favorite troupe for shooting in girlish melodramas. Devotion to ballet and led them to each other ten years ago.

Ekaterina came to enter Vaganovskoye from Moscow, Islom - from Austria. But because of the eight-year difference, they did not even know each other. Although the girl recalls: when Islom was already serving at the Mariinsky, and schoolgirl Katya came to rehearsals, running down the corridor she heard: “Oh, what girls we have here!” And, turning around, she saw a grinning handsome man.

Today, he is not only the love of her life, but also a strict mentor - Islom is increasingly engaged in tutoring and does not give concessions even to Katya. At home, they like to cook together to the music, and any pleasant melody, from classics to System of a Down, serves as a backdrop for roast lamb with spices. But just not Swan Lake", Please!

From an interview with Catherine in 2009:

I danced a lot with my husband, Islom Baimuradov, he is also a Mariinsky soloist. We really like to perform together, it's a completely different feeling. The audience notices this, in the same New York, people were surprised: “It’s just some kind of chemistry between you.” - “Yes, we are husband and wife!” Our family is over a year old..

- Was the wedding like Volochkova's?

- There was none: we got up at 8 in the morning, signed at 9, went to the lesson at 11, in the evening we had "Swan". I was dressed in a trouser suit, with a tie ... I think that a wedding is a private matter for two. If very big celebrations It's probably for the public. And then often that's why they live together - well, after all, they still saw the wedding. And here - our desire, no one participated, even my mother did not know until the moment when, after the recording, we came already with rings, and before the lesson I called her in Moscow. She is an understanding person.

Islom always tries to help Ekaterina, rehearses with her even at home. I liked how in one program he said: " I didn’t become a star, unfortunately my body didn’t allow it. But if I have a wife at home who can become a star, why not help her" And " We try to be together 24 hours a day. Necessarily. That's why I got married. Well I guess that's the meaning of life".

Victoria Tereshkina and Artem Shpilevsky

The prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater and the soloist of the Bolshoi Theater got married in the summer of 2008.

From an interview with Victoria:

- On stage, partners change, but in life, which partner did you get?
- I knew about my future husband from the age of sixteen. We studied together at the Academy of Russian Ballet. For me, he seemed something unattainable - the man of my dreams. But, as you know, dreams do come true. After studying, we met while touring the world, sometimes in Moscow at concerts. Later, he confessed to me that all this time he liked me. But for a long time we did not communicate with him in any way, except for studying each other with our eyes. And during the recent tour of the Mariinsky and the Bolshoi in Japan, we finally met, we began a correspondence ...
– E-mail?
– SMS-kami! I knew for a long time that he was very good. For me, not only external qualities are important in a man - beauty and “height”, but also what he is inside. Because to live after all not with beauty. In a word, last summer I married the soloist of the Bolshoi Ballet Artem Shpilevsky.
How do ballerinas decide to family life?
“At first I didn’t want to get married. But in life, a lot of things happen as if by themselves. You suddenly meet a person and realize that you can live happily ever after with him.
D do you think about procreation?

- There was a moment in my life when I could not imagine myself as a mother, it seemed that everything was still very far away. But now I'm getting ready for it. In the meantime, she got a cat - a Russian blue. Fate gave it to me. Someone closed it in our entrance in the shield. She meowed so plaintively that my husband and I could not stand it and warmed up. Right now I'm sitting with you, and I think about her - she sits at home all day hungry and waits for me. She always sees me off with such a reproachful look, knowing that I will return late.

In 2013, the couple had a daughter, Milada.

"Why did you choose such a rare name for your daughter?

It is Old Slavic and means “sweetheart”, “okay” - what more could you want for a child? My husband and I decided to name our daughter that, even when she was in her stomach.

How does the husband help with education?

His main help is that thanks to him, my mother has the opportunity to attend my performances: while Artyom is babysitting her daughter, she can slip away to the theater. Because when I am at rehearsals, it is my mother who spends time with Milada, who recently specially moved to St. Petersburg from my native Krasnoyarsk - I could not entrust my daughter to any other person.

Artem, who was a soloist of the Bolshoi Theater, probably could have danced quietly for another five years, but left the stage. Why?

The profession has ceased to bring him pleasure, and this is the worst thing. He even admitted that when he saw his last name in the distribution of parties in new performances, he simply went to hard labor. This despite the fact that at the beginning of his journey he was very fond of dancing - first he left Russia for Seoul, where he quickly went from a choreographer to a theater premiere, then he accepted an offer to become a soloist of the Berlin Staatsoper, and then moved to Moscow. Of course, all relatives lamented his departure from the theater, but he prepared for such a step in advance: he graduated from the law faculty of MGIMO, and now he is engaged in business. But thanks to his decision, we finally united. After all, the first three years after marriage lived in different cities.

And a little about ballet artistic directors

Sergey Filin and Maria Prorvich

The artistic director of the ballet troupe and the choreographer of the Bolshoi Ballet have been together for about 15 years, raising two sons.

True, Sergey Filin is not a model faithful husband. The whole country learned about this in 2013, during a hearing in the case of an attempt on his life. From the record of the case, it turned out that Filin had an intimate relationship with ballerinas Natalya Malandina, Olga Smirnova
and Maria Vinogradova. He also tried to persuade Angelina Vorontsova to such a relationship.

And all this with the living wife of Maria Prorvich.

Mary, how a true friend, comrade and brother, she forgave her husband all the sprees, and supported him in everything, throughout the treatment, investigation and trial. However, Filin in court categorically denied any relationship with other ballerinas. And he doesn’t get tired of saying in an interview that Maria is his main love, most true friend and that family is the meaning of his life.

By the way, Prorvich is already the third wife of Filin. From the second marriage with prima Inna Petrova, Sergei has a son, Daniel.

Igor Zelensky - Yana Serebryakova

Igor Zelensky's path to family happiness was long and thorny. In addition to gossip that he met with a bunch of his partners in all theaters, I managed to find out from the Internet about his romance with a ballerina Zhanna Ayupova. From the memoirs of her friend: “Jeanne got married early and gave birth to a son, Fedya, and it seemed that her life would continue peacefully. But it was not so! .. can not think of another more exact definition. And Zhanna left her husband... The novel proceeded, although stormily, but it ended... True, watching the development of their relationship from the very beginning, I believed that the novel contributed to Ayupova's creative flourishing.

Zelensky broke up with Zhanna when he met a figure skater Ekaterina Gordeeva.Igor met Katya through his friends, and the feelings that she aroused in him made the dancer fall in love with no memory, neglecting all conventions. " Katya is the most a beautiful woman, - Igor said . - She was broken after the death of Sergei. How close friend I hope I can bring some joy and comfort into her life". Throughout this romance, Katya and Igor secretly attended performances with each other and, when a rare opportunity arose, met backstage. They spent all their free time together. Despite the serious conspiracy, which they went against their personal desire, they still failed to hide the truth.

Zelensky did not get to the wedding with Gordeeva. But with the young soloist of the Mariinsky Yana Serebryakova- came.
In 2007, their eldest daughter was born, who was named unusual name Mariamiya.

After Yana, Zelensky gave birth to two more children - a son and a daughter.

She left her career as a soloist. Engaged in teaching activities.

Alexey and Tatyana Ratmansky

They met in the late 80s in Kyiv. Tatyana was a ballerina in National Opera Ukraine and Alexey's partner. In 1992, the two of them left to work in Canada. In 1995 they returned to Kyiv, but faced with many obstacles of a creative and bureaucratic nature, in 1997 they left for Denmark. In Denmark, two years later, their son Vasily was born.

In Denmark, Alexey developed his talent as a choreographer. Since 2003 he has been the artistic director of the Bolshoi Ballet Company, and since 2009 he has been a permanent choreographer of the American Ballet Theatre.

From an old interview:

- Do you like the life of a nomad artist?

- The main inconvenience is that I cannot
make time for your son.

- Who does he look like?

- I think that it’s me, although Tatyana and I are very similar to each other
on a friend. By the way, my wife and I gave birth to Vaska together - in Denmark, fathers are present during childbirth. By the way, I was the first to take my son into my arms.

Vasily's son, who is very similar to his father.

Until now, on Facebook, Alexey does not get tired of confessing his love to his wife Tatyana.

Guest dancer of the Bolshoi Theatre.

Ivan Vasiliev was born on September 9, 1989 in the village of Tavrichanka, Primorsky Krai. The boy grew up in the family of a military officer Vladimir Viktorovich. Soon, the father was transferred to the Ukrainian city of Dnepr, where they early years young men. At the age of four, together with his mother and older brother Victor, he went to see a children's folk ensemble. And initially, my brother planned to go there, but Vanya showed interest in dancing so zealously that the teachers took him too.

Since then, wherever Vasiliev studied, everywhere he turned out to be 2-3 years younger than his classmates. At seven, the boy first saw a ballet performance and fell in love with this art form. From the folk ensemble he went to the Dnieper choreographic school, and later studied classical dance at the Belarusian State Choreographic College under the guidance of choreographer Alexander Kolyadenko. By the way, Vasiliev was admitted to college immediately for the third year, since the young man freely performed those elements that his peers had not even started yet.

During his studies, Ivan trained at the National Academic Bolshoi Theater of the Republic of Belarus and performed on stage in such productions as Don Quixote and Le Corsaire. After school, the young dancer went to Moscow, where he sought the right to get into the troupe of famous theater in the post-Soviet territory.

In 2006, a young and incredibly talented dancer Vasiliev took the stage of the Bolshoi Theater. It took him only four years to, bypassing the title of leading soloist, become the premier of the ballet troupe. In addition to the main parties in such legendary performances, as "Spartacus", "Don Quixote", "The Nutcracker", "Petrushka", "Giselle", Ivan, together with Nikolai Tsiskaridze, participated in the international project "Kings of Dance".

At the end of 2011, the leaders of the Bolshoi Theater Ivan Vasilyev and Natalya Osipova moved to St. Petersburg, and not even to the Mariinsky, but to the Mikhailovsky Theater, which at that time was much lower in the rating. It turned out that the dancer needed a new serious challenge, tough motivation in order to grow further.

In addition to the St. Petersburg theater, Vasilyev regularly appeared on the stage of the American Ballet Theater, and also took part as a guest artist in well-known private performances. For example, in the project “Solo for Two” in contemporary style and at the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Sochi in the film “The First Ball of Natasha Rostova”. The last performance was staged by the amazing choreographer Radu Poklitaru, and the prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theater Svetlana Zakharova danced with Ivan.

On March 1, 2014, the ballet dancer signed an appeal by Russian cultural figures in support of the policy of Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine and Crimea.

Vasiliev is one of the highest paid ballet dancers in the world. However, this fact young man little interest. Ivan Vladimirovich sees in ballet, first of all, art and proved this by trying himself as a choreographer, staging in 2015 unusual performance"Ballet No. 1". In it, the choreographer tried to show the possibilities human body both solos and duets.

As a guest artist, in 2019 Vasiliev performed the role of Jose in the production of Carmen Suite, and also performed the part of Ferkhad in The Legend of Love.
