Varvara Vizbor husband children. Tatyana Vizbor: short biography, personal life, family, photo

It happens that our seemingly defeat turns into victory. This happened to the singer Varvara Vizbor, the granddaughter of the famous bards, idols of more than one generation, Yuri Vizbor and Ada Yakusheva. At the blind audition television show“The Voice”, when Vizbor sang her grandfather’s song “And there will be a great winter,” the jury did not turn to her, but all the viewers of Channel One and those who were sitting in the hall did, rewarding her with the most stormy applause. The way Vizbor was applauded, none of the participants were applauded. Varvara could not help but call audience choice- she is so open, sincere, natural, harmonious. She is very easy to talk to and we started our conversation by talking about her grandparents.

How do you feel about the fact that your grandparents were famous people who are still remembered and loved?

Of course, I am proud that I had such grandparents. But for me, my grandfather is the same Yuri Vizbor as for everyone else. My perception of my grandfather is probably no different from those who knew him, because we did not meet, we missed each other in time. He died a year before I was born, so I can only accumulate some folklore about him, according to the stories of those who knew him, my mother, my grandfather’s close friends, with whom we continue to be friends. Grandfather was kind person, judging by how many good memories of the present male friendship, he left the matter of mutual assistance to himself. They say that he knew how to communicate with the most different people sincerely and openly. You can go to some village where he visited, and there will definitely be some Aunt Manya who will say: “Here is Vizbor - our man.” With the team of Sergei Yakovlevich Nikitin, I went to Kizema, where my grandfather worked at a school on assignment after a pedagogical institute. He was sent there as a teacher of Russian language and literature. But, once there, he discovered that there were not enough teachers, and began to teach physics, chemistry, mathematics, and even physical education.

I enjoy the work of Yuri Vizbor and Ada Yakusheva, like their many fans, and for me there is no question of how to feel about the fact that they were famous. It’s so natural that I don’t tell myself: “I will be different” - or vice versa - “I am a successor, I am bringing something great.” There is neither one nor the other. Apart from the word “naturalness”, nothing comes to mind. We have a completely anti-pathetic family; my brother and I, like true children of the 90s, grew up wearing torn tights and all that...

I was lucky enough to find my grandmother. I really loved visiting her in her cozy corner on Mira Avenue. Grandma had a great sense of humor and was very kind. She wasn't making jokes on purpose, it was just that everything she said was incredibly funny and witty. She just had crazy humor! So everyday, understandable and different... It seems to me that her poems are good because they tell real stories. My grandmother reacted very funny to my arrangements of her and grandfather’s songs. My brother and I performed together in our youth, she listened and said: “Wow! Is this my song? I mean: “Really?!” Well done!” Supported. It seems to me that she remained well in her time, with its values and habits. Grandma loved to cook. When I called her and told her that I was coming, she immediately started baking donuts with apples, very tasty. She always had hot tea with tea leaves, and she asked me how much sugar I should put in. It was always possible to consult with my grandmother, but she never put pressure on me in terms of education. The main legacy that my grandparents left me is good relations to people.

- How did you come to the songs of Yuri Vizbor and Ada Yakusheva and why are they dear to you?

I heard their songs as a teenager, not yet knowing that these were the songs of my grandparents, myself, not from my parents. I really liked them, and I began to find out what kind of songs they were and where I could find the words. It turned out that the songs that I like so much are the songs of Yuri Vizbor and Ada Yakusheva. I demanded that my parents give me the records that were kept in our family. Neither time, nor relevance, nor modernity are important. The most important thing in grandfather's songs is kindness, and this is something that is always on time. And I sing my grandmother’s song “If you knew” for the sake of this phrase:

If only you knew

And if you had it in mind all the time,

That in this house even stairs are waiting

You in winter and summer.

That’s it, I don’t need anything else from this song, just this line: “... in this house they even wait for stairs.”

The songs resonate with every cell. They are different. Some are humorous or, on the contrary, touching to the core. These songs help you live. But I perform not only them, I have an extensive repertoire. Listeners of the older generation, who remember Yuri Vizbor, always sing along at concerts, and young people always accept these songs very well and thereby become familiar with the work of Vizbor and Yakusheva, discover it for themselves, and this is wonderful.

- What was your childhood like?

In general, I am prone to nostalgia and think a lot about the past, often remembering my childhood. As a child, and even now, I was attracted to nature - abandoned, dilapidated, secluded places - and animals: dogs, cats, horses, lizards, fish. My brother and I had a dog - a Staffordshire terrier, Jadwiga, who loved to hang on the lower branches of trees, which amazed passers-by - and a cat, Prokhor. These are my faithful friends since childhood. Unfortunately, they are no longer there, but they are always in my heart, my favorites. In the Tver region, in the village of Popovka, we had a little house, now it is completely dilapidated. Although I was born in Moscow, one of my places of power is this little house. Our site was on the edge, overlooking the field and further onto the forest. And on the other side stretched a sandy road, and behind it, behind the field, flowed the Khotcha River, quiet, with clear peat water. In the summer we spent several weeks there. It happened differently. Then the rains will come, and you’ll be stuck around the stove in these galoshes, unable to go anywhere. And there were also good days. Tents were pitched on the site when the whole family arrived: there wasn’t much space in the house. When I need to fill up, if I’m empty inside, I sit down and imagine our dacha, where I spent my childhood, wandering through the forests and fields with my beloved dog.

Since childhood, I have a love for walking alone. I still like to walk alone. Now, however, my husband is not really letting go. When I was at school, I walked the dog before and after school. I think many will understand me: there are unpleasant moments at school. So, I always knew that after school I would come home and go for a walk with the dog. We walked, and all thoughts - both good and bad - evaporated. The head was freed. I still love this feeling.

I studied at regular school, near the house, and studied poorly because she did not understand, at least in primary school why is all this needed? Although I was a morning person as a child and thought that after 12 at night, which I never sat through, some other world would begin, it was very difficult in the mornings. I didn’t want to get up, get dressed, or go to school. I slept during class. What I liked were the life safety lessons, but not at all because you could relax and do nothing with impunity, but because the class windows looked out onto the side of Sukharevskaya Square, where the church stands and the famous Sukharev Tower once stood. It always seemed to me that historical ghosts and spirits lived there, because these places smelled of antiquity and something very mysterious.

A to graduating classes somehow got along good teachers, they inspired more confidence, it was interesting to listen to them. Unexpectedly, history and literature did well for me. I didn’t experience parental oppression, but I did feel timely support. My parents were on their own, and my brother and I were on our own. Nobody was doing anything, like many people at that time. But at crucial moments they turned on, and we felt it.

- How did you become involved in creativity?

As a child, I asked to be sent to dance, but when we came to the House of Creativity, they told me that it was too late, and I was about seven years old. As a result, I learned to dance already at the institute, and for some reason it was not too late. In my second year, jazz dance appeared, and I flew away. Jazz is playing, a man is dancing, what could be better? This is my great love - the combination of music and movement. But I still wonder why at seven years old it was too late for me to start dancing. So I came to the next hall, there was a choir there, and I stayed there. I sang all ten in the choir school years. This was my outlet after physics and mathematics, which I understood nothing about. When Yura, my brother, grew up, we began to sing together: I sang, and he played. At first they sang at home, then they decided to sing for the audience and began performing in clubs. This was the beginning of my studies at the institute - I graduated from the Shchukin School - and at the same time I met jazz musicians Sergei Khutas, Zhenya Borets. This is how the “Vizbor V.S. Khutas” project was born, we were together for five years, released the album “Strawberry”. And this summer the Varvara Vizbor project appeared. The title of the album is based on a song by Dmitry Sukharev and Viktor Berkovsky, but not only for this reason. The word “strawberry” comes from the old Russian “strawberry”, that is, growing close to the ground. In our case, this closeness to our language, Russian roots. Strawberries are very tasty, fragrant, but at the same time wild and quite rare, especially for city residents. It seems to me that in our creativity there is something that people lack in their ultra-fast modern life, which is what I myself lack.

-Who are your parents, what do they do?

My mother is a journalist, she followed in the footsteps of her parents, Yuri Vizbor and Ada Yakusheva. First of all, Yuri Vizbor considered himself a journalist, this was his main profession. But my mother had, as I understand it, quite a hard time along this path, because people had all sorts of prejudices. They told her: “We don’t need dynasties, we don’t have a factory.” For some reason, in their minds, a dynasty could only be a workers’ dynasty. She became a journalist more in spite of circumstances than because of them. And I understand that journalism is hers real love. She has been working on Radio Russia for a long time, more than 20 years, broadcasting live with various guests and news programs. I remember the cool moments associated with when she worked at Ostankino. My brother and I came there, and it was a holiday. It was a joy to see how the reels were spinning, how the editing was done, the tape was cut, and most importantly, sometimes I was trusted to press the big “stop” button. The atmosphere in Ostankino was wonderful. I still feel very comfortable there. And Ostankino Pond is probably my most important place of power in Moscow. As a child, I lived nearby and often came here for a walk with my dog. We came in the morning and watched the sunrise. And in the evening there was no one here, which I really liked. All my dreams, including musical ones, were born here.

I have a wonderful relationship with my mother, although we are completely different. For example, I love when nature is stormy, I love thunderstorms and darkness, but my mother is very afraid of this. But despite our differences, I constantly feel her support and true friendship. When I need help, my mother is always there. And dad too, I actually father's daughter. Dad is an economist and loves music, literature, nature, and sports. It was my dad who sent me to the taekwondo section as a child; I was the only girl among the boys there. Although I only had a yellow belt, it didn’t seem to mean anything, but they still took me there. From sports, my love is for movement, dancing, and overcoming oneself. My father’s sports training was very useful to me during a recent trip to the Urals, where we filmed a video about the 40s, about the women of those years who worked in the rear, thanks to whom, perhaps, our country survived. For filming, we climbed the mountain for an hour and a half, through the snow, through huge snowdrifts. It felt like your legs were walking on their own, tucked in, turned out, and you were no longer aware of it. When we left the Urals, I literally cried at the airport - I really didn’t want to return to Moscow, although we worked in harsh conditions. In Moscow it’s hard in a different way. Simplicity is missing. If I had such an opportunity, I would live in the village. In the Urals, I handled a horse and a cart, rode a horse through the forest, interacted with dogs and cats. Clean air, quiet, no sounds - this is happiness! I really liked Moscow until the traffic jams. I found this time. It’s hard because the pace of life here is very high. This is a real metropolis. But it’s very nice that the simple walking corners that I love so much are changing and becoming better and more comfortable.

- Why did you decide to participate in the show “The Voice”?

I really enjoyed this show. I watched the second season and was delighted, because I saw not only wonderful vocalists there, but also felt that something very interesting was hidden inside, which was not shown. I wanted to experience this myself, because I adore organization, oddly enough, and I really gravitate towards everything being clear. This is also from dad. I really like it when people understand the value of these little things, from which more is built. And this 100% applies to the “Voice” team led by Yuri Viktorovich Aksyuta. To organize something like this, you need to put all your soul, all your love for the profession, and make every effort. I think this is one of the best projects our television.

- How did you feel when the jury didn’t turn to you?

We found out who would be on the jury almost a day before filming. I found out, apparently, later than everyone else, because everyone laughed at me and joked that I still didn’t know anything. There was a lot of excitement and worry. I understood that no one might turn around, and that’s normal. And I just told myself that I need to enjoy this moment of the performance as much as possible, whatever the outcome. As a matter of fact, that’s exactly what happened. Hope, of course, was present, and if at the beginning of the song it was not there at all, then gradually it grew. And when in the middle of the performance I had the feeling that they probably wouldn’t turn around, I somehow relaxed and realized that, no problem, I would just sing to people. There is also a wonderful audience there. You see the living eyes of people, you feel the living breath of the audience, and these are familiar sensations when you communicate with listeners at a concert. I felt at ease, stopped making mistakes out of excitement and sang much better. I felt the breathing of people, their attention, and I immediately felt at ease. When the song ended and the jury did not turn, I experienced this moment with the audience and did not feel alone. The support of people - first those who were sitting in the studio, and then those who were watching TV - came as a surprise. There wasn't even enough time to analyze what happened. Perhaps I just perceived everything as great joy. It seems to me that even failure is an experience that should be perceived as positively as possible. Without experience we will not be who we are. I remember from school: the most striking failures, which seemed like a real collapse, always turned out to attract attention to other things. Other passages open up, you experience, and through the experience you understand some new things. You would never understand them without failure. You wouldn't even notice them. In general, failures should be treated with respect. After all, they may be useful. And I believe not so much in luck as in the power of deeds. It seems to me that if a person does what he loves, then at some point something special must accompany him.

- What is important to you in life?

It is very important for me that the people around me are kind, non-aggressive, and purposeful. I appreciate real things.

- It seems that you are a positive person. Are you somehow preparing yourself for the coming day?

Nothing special. It can be hard to get up. Sometimes it’s important for me to just pull back the curtain and see the light. When I was doing yoga, they showed me this funny movement - lying on your back, you raise your arms and legs up and start shaking them. In the morning, before you properly wake up, you can do this exercise for as long as you can, for a minute or two. At every stage of life, certain things come, techniques for awakening and settings for the day, and it’s great to seek them out for yourself. At one age it is one thing, at another it is another. I don’t have any mantra from the series “You need to think about the good, tune in to the positive.” My cheerfulness comes from nature.

- How much do you need to be happy?

Very little. To have my loved one next to me.

On September 18, Channel One aired an episode of the popular musical project “The Voice,” in which the granddaughter took part as a contestant Soviet bard Yuri Vizbor And Ada YakushevaVarvara Vizbor. To the disappointment of many TV viewers, during the “blind auditions” the jury did not turn to the young performer, and she “flew out” of the show.

Unexpectedly, failure on Channel One turned into fame for Varvara on the Internet: a video with her participation in “The Voice” has already been watched by hundreds of thousands of users, and in social networks For the third week they have been arguing about why the mentors made such a mistake and did not let the talented singer through to the second round. Varvara herself, in a conversation with AiF.ru, said that she was not ready for such popularity and is not upset that she did not pass the “blind auditions.”

Elena Dudnik, AiF.ru: Varvara, when you went to the TV project “The Voice”, did you expect to win?

Varvara Vizbor: No, what are you talking about? I'm glad I got to at least this stage, it's a great honor. Many people are eliminated during the casting; very strong vocalists do not make it to the “blind auditions”. I believe that my result is already something.

— Which mentor did you want to join the team?

— There was no such thing that I wanted to get into the team of one of the mentors. If they had turned around, I would have gone to each of them with a calm soul.

— Why did you decide to take part now? Why didn't you come to the show in the previous three seasons?

- You know, sometimes circumstances somehow develop, and we don’t even know why. Everything worked out for me this year.

— Did your family support this decision?

“They not only supported me, but even pushed me into this idea.”

— Why did you perform the composition “Winter” in a television competition? Many people believe that this song failed to reach your full potential in the Blind Auditions and that is why you didn't make it further.

“I prepared this song among the other ten compositions that had to be prepared in order to take part in the competition. At some point, a choice was made: together with the “Voice” team, we settled on this one.

— “Winter” is a song written by your grandfather, what other works of Yuri Vizbor do you perform, and which is your favorite?

— It’s difficult to single out just one song. I like a lot of his compositions, some of them are recorded in the album “Strawberry”. These are songs that I grew up with, like “ Night road" or "Rainbow". But mostly I like his sad songs.

— Tell us more about your album. What kind of music do you perform? Where can we hear you?

— I have a debut album “Strawberry”, which we recorded together with a wonderful musician, composer and arranger Sergei Khutas. We called our creative alliance Vizbor VS Khutas. Now I'm performing under my own own name mainly in jazz clubs in Moscow, and on November 3 my first big concert in Yotaspace.

— In the wake of your popularity, are you planning to release your next album?

— We are very pleased that there are hearts that respond to our creativity. We have already started working on a new record and, hopefully, it will be ready by spring. And we will probably release several new singles before the presentation of the album.

— At Moscow State Pedagogical University (formerly Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after Lenin), where Yuri Vizbor studied, his memory is still honored: creative evenings are held, his songs are sung. What traditions do you have in your family?

“We don’t have any traditions as such.” It’s just that Yuri Vizbor - my grandfather, my mother’s father - is always with us. To do this, you don’t need to create any special meetings, get together and sing songs with a guitar. There is nothing like that, it’s just that his work is inseparable from our family.

— Do you write music and poetry yourself?

— Somehow it happened that I write how to perform songs. I choose compositions, come up with arrangements.

— Yuri Vizbor did not manage to take part in your upbringing: he died two years before your birth. Do you think you are like your grandfather?

“Unfortunately, I did not have physical contact with my grandfather. They say that he and I have common features Character: purposefulness, philanthropy, firmness and at the same time gentleness. But I repeat, this is not my personal opinion, but the opinion of those who were personally acquainted with him. I, of course, would like to be like him in such traits as kindness, the ability to communicate with people, make decisions and get out of difficult situations with a firm posture.

- You bear your grandfather's surname. Is this your personal decision? Why didn't you take your father's last name?

— I bear my grandfather’s surname, because by decision of our family it is passed down through the female line. The owner of the Vizbor surname is my mother, and now I bear this name.

The first meeting of Ada Yakusheva and Yuri Vizbor took place in V.I. Lenin. It was 1954. Tatiana’s parents were not yet known to the general public at that time. Each of them was looking for their own path in life. Together they began to visit a society of tourists, where, on numerous trips, Ada first began to compose poetry. They got married four years after the meeting, and the newlyweds did not shout about unearthly love for each other; these feelings were the innermost secret of two creative souls.

Ada Yakusheva and Yuri Vizbor: family life

Tatyana Vizbor, daughter of Ada and Yuri, was born in 1958. But the rebellious spirit of the poet did not allow Yuri Vizbor to enjoy the measured times. Sometimes he spent a lot of money on entertainment, while little Tatyana did not even have a stroller. Every day love boat became more and more unsteady, overwhelmed by everyday problems. They parted for a very long and painful time. Tanya's father either left the family or returned again. But Ada Yakusheva once broke all the loose ends by leaving her husband with her daughter.

Then both of Tatyana’s parents started families again. Father, Yuri Vizbor, married three more times. However, he always called Ada his first muse. It is dedicated to her famous song“You’re the only one I have.”

Childhood

My childhood years were spent in a large communal apartment on Neglinnaya Street. Friends of the parents often gathered there, among whom were musicians, mountaineers, skiers, and journalists. When the girl was very little and had just begun to explore the world, for a long time she could not figure out which of all the many inhabitants of the apartment were the closest to her. After all, all her parents’ friends were affectionate with her, spent a lot of time and constantly treated her to something sweet. When the child's consciousness was formed and Tanya no longer doubted who her mother and father were, kindergarten she had one more thing waiting for her amazing discovery. For the child, the presence of music in the life of the family was so obvious, because she fell asleep every day to the guitar, that the fact that not all children have parents who are musicians struck her as a child.

Her parents wanted Tanya to grow up as an independent and responsible girl, allowing her to make important decisions herself. For example, when the family moved to another district of the capital, Tatyana herself decided to transfer to another school, since she had to get to the previous one by trolleybus. She herself wrote an application for transfer and began visiting new school, and the parents who returned from the trip then only put their signatures on all the necessary documents.

Youth

Tatyana Vizbor looks very similar to her father. Like her father, she adores leisure outdoors with a bonfire, tents and guitar. In her youth, she often went hiking with her parents. The daughter of Yu. Vizbor especially remembered the kayak trips that she went on with her dad for ten years. It was on such travels that she met her father's friends - the then famous bards Viktor Berkovsky. Tatyana often speaks in interviews about the parenting methods that her father used. He never had long conversations about good and bad deeds, preferring to show everything by example.

For a long time, Tatyana did not know that her parents had separated, because her father did not disappear from her life and devoted a lot of time to communicating with his daughter. Even when he had another family, Yuri Iosifovich tried to eldest daughter with his other children formed friendly relations. And so it happened.

Is it easy to be the daughter of famous parents?

Both Yuri Vizbor and Ada Yakusheva were teachers by training. The daughter also decided to follow in their footsteps and after graduating from school she tried to enter a pedagogical institute. However, she didn’t get the points and didn’t get accepted.

On next year she had already changed her mind and successfully passed the exams at Moscow State University, the Faculty of Journalism, where she made many new friends, just like she who dreamed of broadcasting news and events to the people... It was while a student that the girl realized the scale of her father’s popularity. And before that, it was clear to her that dad writes songs, sings and gives concerts. But when her fellow students began asking to get them tickets to their father’s concert, at first it was a big surprise for Tatyana.

After receiving her diploma, the girl faced serious difficulties. Nobody wanted to take their daughter to work famous parents. God forbid they think it’s due to connections. Even in the youth editorial office, where she received an official assignment, Tatyana was politely shown the door. According to the then chairman of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Sergei Lapin, labor dynasties belong at the plant, and not at all on radio and television. And this despite the fact that Tanya has been a freelance worker for the youth editorial office for quite some time. And my parents worked in other organizations: my father worked in creative association“Screen”, and my mother is on the radio station “Yunost”.

First job

There was no way out, I had to look for a job not related to journalism. Friends from the faculty helped Tatyana with this. The girl went to work at the Mechanical Engineering Research Institute. She was busy drawing out forms for improvement proposals. The salary was not bad at that time, but the work itself was far from Tatyana’s dreams. Moreover, for good money, one had to comply with very strict strict rules, some of which reached the point of absurdity. For example, the lunch break lasted strictly 48 minutes and not a minute more.

First creative experience

Tatyana Vizbor, whose biography proves that the fame of her parents does not always help in life, worked in the field of mechanical engineering for 4 months.

Then one of her father’s friends helped her get one of the ordinary positions at Soyuzinformkino. The salary there was less than at the previous place of work, but it was closer to creativity. At first, Tatiana’s responsibilities included studying printed publications for the purpose of selecting information related to cinema. She cut out everything that was in any way related to the movie, and put the clippings in special archival folders.

A few months later, they began to trust her with more serious work. She was engaged in creating posters and writing notes about films that appeared on cinema screens. Her notes were published in the newspaper Gudok.

Gradually, Tatyana Yuryevna Vizbor realized that she would like to work on the radio. She was interested in reporting on various festivals and talking about events in the film industry. And she did it with pleasure. However, she had to cut out her own voice from the materials, because she continued to be considered just the daughter of celebrities. And Tatyana was forced to write out the fees not in her own name, but in the names of friends and acquaintances, so that those at the top would not find out about her involvement in these materials.

The life and work of Tatyana Vizbor today

Tatyana Vizbor: family

Tatyana herself is the mother of two beautiful children: Yuri and Varvara. They are both creative people.

Daughter Varvara enjoys performing songs written by her grandfather. She rightly believes that Yuri Vizbor’s songs will never become outdated. With her friend Sergei Khutas (jazz musician and composer) she created music project entitled “Vizbor V.S. Khutas", in which they perform songs by Yuri Vizbor in a modern arrangement.

As Tatyana Vizbor herself says, the children themselves chose their life paths. She, like a mother, always supports them in their endeavors. For example, realizing that my son has undoubted musical abilities, the parents took the boy to music school. However, the rigor of the pedagogical approach and academicism in teaching alienated little Yura. Then Tatyana Vizbor, whose husband supported her in this decision, did not force her son to attend music school, allowing him to go his own way. Now Yuri (Vizbor Jr.) is successfully demonstrating his abilities: performing, composing, and interpreting-arranger. People like him are the future of the original song.

Varvara Vizbor on the project “The Voice”

Varvara Vizbor took part in the popular project “The Voice”, but during the blind audition none of the jury members turned to her. But the song “Winter” by Yuri Vizbor, performed by the girl, had an effect on the whole auditorium indelible impression. And Polina Gagarina admitted that she liked Varvara’s performance, but she did not expect that the song would be so short and simply did not have time to turn around.

Tatyana Vizbor doesn’t really like to talk about herself in interviews. Her personal life has turned out well: she is happily married to her husband and the father of her children. Willingly answers questions about creative path parents and about the successes of their daughter and son, preferring to remain silent about themselves. But she is one of the most famous radio journalists of our time, and even writes wonderful songs and poems.

She sings with bards and rappers, refuses the services of producers and does not dream of “Olympic” - HELLO!

"She gave them watercolors, transparent as spring water - and give them a painting in oil, butter" - this is how three years ago viewers of the talent show "The Voice" described Varvara Vizbor's performance, which she left at the stage of blind auditions. Of the four judges of the project, the bright girl who performed Yuri Vizbor's song "And there will be a big winter" , not a single one turned around - it seems that no one simply understood what to do with her, so original, in this forge of personnel. But it was after participating in the competition that Varvara’s circle of fans expanded. There were several hundred subscribers on blogs - thousands appeared. There were chamber venues - became large concert halls like "Vegas City Hall", which she will gather on November 30 not for the first time.

Personal playlist

She performs songs of her grandparents, Yuri Vizbor and his first wife Ada Yakusheva, in the style of jazz, soul and funk. Sometimes she sings other lyrics, mixing rock with hip-hop - there are no boundaries for Varvara Vizbor.

It’s hard for me to find a definition for myself musical style, she says in an interview, and when asked to describe her work, she advises with a smile to call some music critic: - He, unlike me, will be able to find the right words.

She has a special relationship with words: Varvara answers questions by checking each phrase. What did you listen to as a child?

Now I’ll think about it, I don’t want to tell you the same thing as others." There were Paul McCartney and Sting, Michael Franks and Joni Mitchell. From the Russians - Kino and Chizh & Co. "Well, from that "girly" - group "Prime Minister.

Varvara Vizbor has released three albums. She not only sings songs by Yuri Vizbor and Ada Yakusheva, but also gives a new interpretation to the texts of her brother and other authors. And for the second wind of songs he uses all styles - from funk and folk to jazz and R’n’B.
(Bracelet, FREYWILLE; long sleeve, skirt, Escada Sport; belt bag, Boohoo; fur coat, Braschi; earrings - property)

In this list, it is noteworthy that there is no bard song - she came to the family repertoire herself in high school.

Although in fact, my strongest impression of my grandfather is connected with cinema. Songs do not give such a visual representation of the performer, and it was in films that I first saw him - a man who died two years before I was born.

She was watching "You and Me" Larisa Shepitko and, of course, “Seventeen Moments of Spring” by Tatyana Lioznova:

The first time I didn’t understand much, I sat and waited for my grandfather to appear. And when I saw it, I thought:"Wow, what a hero! Now this is my favorite movie.

Musical eccentricities

They performed his songs, and then the texts of Ada Yakusheva, together with their brother Yura - behind closed doors or at home gatherings.

They came up with arrangements, new readings... It was a new magical experience.

My brother taught himself to play the guitar, Varvara sang in the school choir, which was a personal outlet from her unloved mathematics and physics. At the same time, after studying I did not enter School of Music, as one might expect, and on the acting in Shchukinskoe.

“It happened by accident,” she shrugs. - I decided to try. In my first year, it seemed like I was in some kind of madhouse, I didn’t understand anything. But then I got involved and decided: since I’m here, I need to make the best of the situation.

Varvara does not talk about her personal life in interviews - it is only known that she is happily married and that her husband takes an active part in her work. With his approval, three years ago she came up with her own original haircut: “I spontaneously decided to cut it all off, my husband supported me, and I went to the hairdresser.”

After college, she was not accepted into any theater:

On the one hand, it was insulting, but on the other, it was as if an inner voice was saying: “Wait, something else will happen….

In front of this “something” there was a line various works: Varvara taught disciplines to children - from fencing to plastic arts, worked in a kindergarten in Barvikha...

By the way, the children there were quite ordinary - like any others, at first they behaved warily, and then decided whether to trust you or not. I was also a clown at a party, a toastmaster at a wedding, I distributed leaflets - all sorts of part-time jobs happened.

Around the same time, their first concert with their brother took place:

The place was bardish, about 10-12 people gathered, and three of them were our friends. We understood that people came on the last name - you should have seen their faces when we started playing. At the same time, almost everyone liked our new reading.

By the way, Ada Yakusheva herself, according to Varvara, took their musical “eccentricities” calmly. But I didn’t have time to go to the concert (she passed away in 2012. - Ed.).

“I never planned to perform my grandfather’s songs - I just realized at some point that they best reflect my worldview.”

The experiments turned into something serious gradually and as if by themselves - like everything in Varvara’s story.

Life itself brought me together with people who love music.

She found the main backbone of the group at a concert in memory of Vizbor, and wrote the first record “Strawberry” in a friendly studio in the basement. According to the logic of life-affirming Hollywood cinema, it was at this moment that a producer should have appeared who would have promoted the young talent to the top of the charts... But for Varvara Vizbor, it would simply not have been possible for Varvara Vizbor to be with such a person.

I was so excited about what I was doing that I didn’t even think about it. And the charts... I don’t sing pop music and have never strived for super-popularity.

I refused many people - yes, I was not interested.

“Before, I worked in many ways: as a teacher in the Barvikha kindergarten, as a toastmaster at weddings, and as a clown.”

And the song floats

It’s not that she goes against the flow - Varvara Vizbor simply has her own flow of life and she acts on a whim, and not by calculating success. It makes no sense to ask her about the hype and conditional Coin with Buckwheat:

Some heroes and idols replace others - this is normal, it has always been so. It’s just that now, due to time, this is happening much faster.

And in English, she, who today reinterprets the texts of her grandparents and her brother’s compositions, is unlikely to sing.

It’s fashionable to sing like that, you say? I am, of course, the most fashionable of all performers: I don’t go anywhere, I don’t talk about personal things, I’m almost never on TV,

Varvara laughs.

A chamber club, a restaurant - so that a person comes to listen to me and can drink tea or a glass of wine. So that he and I could just feel comfortable, you know?

I ask about everyone’s traditional dream Russian artist- to sing at the Olympic Stadium... which she, of course, does not share.

Now everyone just talks about the Olympic Stadium - it has become fashionable thanks to hip-hop culture, in which performing at such a venue is tantamount to reaching a new level. By the way, I was lucky enough to visit there - I recently sang at solo concert L`One, with whom we recorded two duets. I am very proud of Levan, he achieved this height. But this is not my story at all.

“Olympic” is not my story at all. I prefer a restaurant, a club, so that the listeners and I can feel comfortable"

Varvara Vizbor’s dream is different - and very simple: to continue making music.

I want to release a single soon and then shoot a video for it. But for this I need to meet a person who can understand what I want, the right director, so that all the stars align.

She also has other plans:

This year my husband and I went to the Alps, and I went snowboarding. In general, I recently got up on the board and practiced with a coach on a gentle slope. This is such beauty, you have no idea! I hope that this time there will be a great winter.

Varvara Vizbor – Russian singer, granddaughter of the sixties bard Yuri Vizbor. Her favorite genres are jazz and lounge, but she also enjoys reworking her grandfather's songs, adding personality and a new sound. Together with rapper L’One, she recorded the song “Echo of Love” from the soundtrack to the second season of the TV series “Chernobyl. Exclusion Zone".

Childhood and adolescence

A native Muscovite, Varvara Sergeevna Vizbor was born on February 18, 1986 into a creative, intelligent family. Varvara’s grandfather is the famous poet-bard Yuri Vizbor, her grandmother is the talented poet and writer Ariadna Yakusheva.

Unfortunately, the girl was born a year after her grandfather’s death, but she became acquainted with his work in early childhood. His parents bought a collection disc containing his song “Night Road,” which sank into Varya’s soul from the first chords. How surprised she was when her mother told her that this was her grandfather’s song!

I was very surprised, because in our family there was no cult of grandfather - for us it was an ordinary person, father and grandfather, family member.

Since childhood, the girl was surrounded by a creative atmosphere, which could not but influence her worldview and future fate. Representatives of the capital's bohemians often gathered in the house, sang, played music, read poetry and staged impromptu performances. Her parents instilled in her a kind attitude towards people and the ability to communicate freely with a variety of people, and from her grandmother Varya inherited a sense of humor and an optimistic attitude towards life.

The girl's parents, Tatyana Vizbor and Sergei Lobikov, are also people creative professions, immediately recognized their daughter’s artistic and musical abilities and took her to theater studio. Having become a first-grader, Varvara enrolled in the school choir “Red Carnation”, in which she sang until graduation.

She studied at the secondary level and free time I preferred to spend my time not studying textbooks, but at choir rehearsals or in the children's theater. With his brother Yuri, they often organized home concerts: Yura played, and Varya performed songs from the repertoire of her beloved Alla Pugacheva. The girl also practiced drawing and macrame.

After graduating from school, Varya tried to enter VGIK, but did not pass the competition. Failure did not dampen the ardor of the ambitious girl, and on the advice of Alexei Batalov, a year later she applied to the Shchukin School. This time her efforts were rewarded: Varvara became a student at a prestigious theater university, which she successfully graduated in 2007.

Career

At first she wanted to take up teaching and enrolled in a master’s program, but soon she became bored with the stage and the audience and got a job at the Shkola Theater modern play».

The atmosphere at the School of Contemporary Play was depressing to me. I had to somehow declare myself, become punchy, resourceful... But they say that I am like my grandfather in character, but he was neither punchy nor resourceful.

After serving there for two years, Vizbor moved to the Moscow Theater of Miniatures (Theatrium on Serpukhovka), where she was finally able to fully realize herself as an actress. But there was still an inner feeling of dissatisfaction, which disappeared when she took the microphone and began to sing. Varvara intuitively felt that being a singer was her true calling, and since 2013 she decided to devote herself entirely to her singing career.

While still a student, she began performing in clubs, where she met talented jazz musicians Sergei Khutas and Evgeniy Borets. Soon the guys organized their own group “Vizbor V.S. Khutas”, which lasted five years. The group's repertoire consisted of original arrangements, intricately combining elements of jazz, blues, traditional Russian motifs and sacred music.

Evening Urgant. Varvara Vizbor - And there will be a great winter

In 2015, their debut album “Strawberry” was released. Varvara recorded the subsequent collections “Magic Fruit”, “Mitten” and “Polyphony” under her own name. They entered as original works, created by modern authors, and songs of her legendary grandparents in a new arrangement.

Varvarva Vizbor and The Voice Show

She chose one of Yuri Vizbor’s songs, “Winter,” to perform at the “blind auditions” in the fourth season of the show “The Voice” (2015). Oddly enough, despite the soulful performance and impeccable vocals, none of the four mentors turned to her. Polina Gagarina admitted that she wanted to turn around, but the song “somehow ended quickly.” “Very nice, but there’s only one song, what happens next? What else you can show us is unclear,” said Alexander Gradsky. Basta and Grigory Leps also remained indifferent to Varvara’s performance.

The girl was upset, to put it mildly. But unexpectedly she received support from the viewers of “The Voice” with different corners countries. The situation that developed at the blind auditions caused bewilderment and dissatisfaction, because the audience was completely delighted with Varvara’s performance. The singer took the failure seriously, however, the love and support of fans of her talent, the number of which increased sharply after participating in “The Voice,” gave the artist the strength to believe in herself again.

Personal life of Varvara Vizbor

Varvara carefully protects her personal space and hides information about her privacy. It is known that she is happily married to her beloved man, whom she sees as the father of her future children.
