Yaroslavsky Theatre Institute

The Yaroslavl State Theater Institute is a higher educational institution for the training of qualified specialists in the field of art and culture and is one of the leading creative universities in our country.

In the thirties of the last century, there was a theater technical school in Yaroslavl. In 1945, an acting studio appeared at the Academic Theater. Early 60s main director of this theater, the winner of the State Prize of the USSR and the RSFSR F.E. Shishigin took the initiative to create a theater school, which was implemented in 1962.

The school received the status of a higher educational institution in 1980. Accordingly, the name changed, the educational institution became the Yaroslavl Theater Institute of YAGTI. The university became a laureate of the All-Russian competition "Window to Russia", held by the newspaper "Culture".
The activity of the Institute was marked by the Congress of the Russian Intelligentsia. He was awarded the D.S. Likhachev.

Educational activities YAGTI

High level training of specialists is determined by the unique faculty of YAGTI. It has 37 people. Among them are 7 professors, 2 doctors and 8 candidates of sciences, 11 associate professors. All teachers are creative leaders of theaters and have been trained at the departments of the institute. The teachers of the university hold regular master classes with simultaneous performances in countries such as Estonia, South Korea, Sweden, France, Ukraine, Turkey, USA, Lithuania, Latvia and Brazil.

The training of actors at the Yaroslavl Theater Institute is carried out not only at the full-time department of the university. The organization of target recruitment groups is actively used, which include actors from theaters in various cities and countries.

The leaders of creative workshops take part in the upbringing and development of a student-actor: famous figures theatrical art, directors and master actors. Since 2000, the university has been holding the Festival of Diploma Performances. At the same time, the Youth Theater Exchange is being organized under the name “Future theatrical Russia».

Over the years of the university's activity, more than 2 thousand directors, artists, technologists and theater artists have been trained. creative work over two hundred of them were awarded the honorary titles of People's and Honored Artists of Russia. Every year, about four hundred students study at the institute in full-time and part-time departments. All of them have established themselves as professionals in the art world.

Every year the Institute graduates over 50 specialists. Many of the graduates work in famous theaters the capital and St. Petersburg, are actively declaring themselves on the stage, television and in the cinema. Institute students become active participants in such All-Russian and international theater festivals, as a festival of diploma performances of various theater schools "Podium" in Moscow, puppet theater schools in the Polish cities of Bialastok and Wroclaw, the Yugoslav festival of theatrical art in the city of Ljubljana and many others.

Story

In the 1930s, a theater technical school was organized in Yaroslavl. In 1945, a studio appeared at the Academic Theater named after F. G. Volkov. In 1962, on the initiative of the chief director of the theater named after F. G. Volkov, Firs Efimovich Shishigin, the Yaroslavl Theater School was created. In 1980, the theater school received the status of a higher educational institution, becoming the Yaroslavl State Theater Institute.

The history of the Yaroslavl theater school begins in the thirties: then there was a theater technical school in Yaroslavl. In 1945, a studio appeared at the theater named after F. G. Volkov, the first directors of which were directors I. A. Rostovtsev and E. P. Aseev.

In 1962, at the initiative of the People's Artist of the USSR, Laureate state awards The USSR and the RSFSR, the chief director of the Academic Theater named after F.G. The leading masters of the Volkovskaya stage were the artistic directors of the acting courses and teachers of the school: folk artists USSR F.E. Shishigin, G.A. Belov, V.S. Nelsky, S.K. Tikhonov; People's Artists of the RSFSR S. D. Romodanov, A. D. Chudinova, V. A. Solopov; honored artists of the RSFSR K.G. Nezvanova, L.Ya. Makarova-Shishigina, V.A. Davydov.

In 1980, the theater school received the status of a higher educational institution, now - the Yaroslavl State Theater Institute. The artistic director of the school was Firs Efimovich Shishigin, who found in theater pedagogy his second vocation and laid the foundations for the methodological positions of the Yaroslavl theater school. Long years The acting department was headed by People's Artist of the USSR Sergei Konstantinovich Tikhonov. For 18 years, the institute was headed by the rector, professor, honored art worker Russian Federation, Doctor of Arts Stanislav Sergeevich Klitin. Under his leadership, from the leading actors of the F.G. Volkov Theater and Yaroslavl theater young viewer, postgraduate graduates from Moscow and Leningrad formed the teaching staff of the university. On the initiative of S.S. Klitin, YAGTI began training acting groups on the basis of theaters, thereby making a significant contribution to solving the personnel problem in provincial theaters.

As a director, S.S. Klitin did not stop staging work in the theater and the Philharmonic, many holiday concerts were in his direction. Musicals and fragments of operettas appeared on the stage of the Institute's Educational Theater. In 1993, on the initiative of S.S. Klitin, for the first time at the university, students were recruited for the first year in the specialty Artist musical theater(Issue 1998). For more than ten years, S.S. Klitin headed the Yaroslavl branch of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation.

The Yaroslavl School of Puppet Theater Actors is one of the youngest. Her successes are marked not only by the demand for Yaroslavl graduates in Russian puppet theaters, but also by numerous diplomas from various festivals and competitions.

The Yaroslavl school of puppeteers has its own characteristics. The department avoids a single template and does not impose the only correct approach on anyone, while supporting and revealing the individualities of the masters in every possible way, which, of course, increases their responsibility and stimulates creative growth. Nevertheless, for all the uniqueness of pedagogical individualities, the department sees some common values. Course masters, as a rule, experienced actors who love and know how to masterfully work with a puppet, share the opinion that success in working with a puppet depends on how accurately and subtly the student brings the puppet to life, using the possibilities inherent in it.

In addition to acting specialties, the institute in last years began training directors and artists (directors and technologists) for drama and puppet theaters. The first graduation of the production designers of the puppet theater has already clearly announced itself not only in Yaroslavl, where their personal exhibitions were held, but also in theaters in other cities of Russia, where they created the design for the performances.

Although the last one was hard for me to believe. Yes, he was the Pope... But at the same time, he was also an incredibly gambler, for whom it was beyond his strength to miss an interesting game. And playing cat and mouse with me gave him, I think, real pleasure ...
Therefore, I tried my best to calm down and find in my exhausted head at least some “smart” thought that would help me focus on our unequal “war”, from which, in reality, I had no hope of getting out the winner... But I still didn't give up, because for me a "surrendered person" was much worse than a dead person. And since I was still alive, this meant that I could still fight, even if my soul was already slowly dying ... I had to hold out at least a little in order to have time to destroy this deadly viper, which was Caraffa. .. Now I no longer had any doubts that I could kill him, if only the opportunity presented itself. Just how to do this, I still had no idea. As I have just sadly seen from my own experience, it was impossible to destroy Caraffa in my “usual” way. So, I had to look for something else, but, unfortunately, I had almost no time for this.
I also thought about Girolamo all the time... He was always my warm protective “wall”, behind which I felt safe and protected... But now she was no more... And there was nothing to replace her. Girolamo was the most faithful and most affectionate husband in the world, without whom an important part my world faded, becoming empty and cold. My life was gradually filled with sadness, longing and hatred... The desire to take revenge on Caraffa, forgetting about myself and how small my strength was compared to him... Grief blinded me, it plunged me into the abyss of despair, to get out of which I could only defeat him.
Caraffa returned to my life about two weeks later, on an early sunny morning, very self-confident, fresh and happy, and entering the room, he joyfully said:
– I have a surprise for you, Madonna Isidora! I think you will like it very much.

Happiness, horror, wild joy and fear of loss simultaneously tore me to pieces!.. Caraffa smiled contentedly at the produced effect... which immediately made me shudder inside. I didn’t even dare to think what might happen next ... And I knew that if something terrible happened, the desire to protect Anna might be too strong to resist Caraffe ... and I was terribly afraid that I could not refuse him so that he didn't ask for it.
But, to my greatest surprise, his “surprise” turned out to be a real surprise! ..
– Are you glad to see your daughter, Madonna Isidora? - Karaffa asked, smiling broadly.
