Specialist's Day for public librarians. Professional competence of a modern librarian Name of the day of a specialist in a library for teachers

On August 18, 2017, the methodological department of the A.S. Pushkin held Specialist's Day for employees of public libraries in the Maryanovsky district on the topic “Directions for Modernizing the Activities of the Public Library in modern conditions» . Employees of the libraries of the Maryanovsky district visited three libraries of the regional center: two libraries budget institution culture of the city of Omsk "Omsk Municipal Libraries" - named after Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya and the Library Center "House of the Family"; the main regional library is the Omsk State Regional Scientific Library named after A.S. Pushkin.

During the business tour, Elena Evgenievna Afanasyeva, head of the Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya library, spoke about the history, main directions and forms of work of the institution for library and information services to the population of the Leninsky district. To colleagues from rural libraries the activities of the “Book Garden” created on the territory of the library were clearly shown, in which the Literary Arbor with books and periodicals for readers of all ages is constantly open, a children's play complex where young readers get acquainted with the heroes of fairy tales, there is a place for board games and fine arts, a platform for mass events. The center successfully operates on the basis of the library legal information, computer literacy training courses for the elderly. The library named after Z. Kosmodemyanskaya is a popular center for introducing reading, intellectual development and creative leisure for residents of the television factory village.

At the House of the Family Library Center, Chief Librarian Olga Vladimirovna Chernaya presented the experience of the institution in enhancing the reading activity of various categories of the population of the microdistrict, as well as fruitful cooperation between the library and public organizations, which resulted in grant support. Grants were used to purchase the necessary equipment for a computer literacy center and a photo studio for training veterans, the elderly and people with disabilities, and a summer reading room was equipped. With great interest, the employees of rural libraries got acquainted with the exhibition expositions of the Museum "Istoki", left good parting words on the "tree of wishes".

in the Omsk State Regional scientific library named after A.S. Pushkin, they got acquainted with the activities of the structural divisions of the library: subscription, youth hall, book museum, Pushkin hall, department of cultural programs . Elena Ivanovna Katkova, chief bibliographer of the information and bibliographic department, conducted a training session on the use of local history resources of the regional library in the practice of rural library specialists.

On April 3, the Specialist's Day was held at the Bibliocenter in Neftekamsk.

Director of the CBS Yan Franz Nikolaevich addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He noted that the Specialist's Day is a traditional form of work, but a bit forgotten. In 2013, we resumed it again, only in a more innovative way.

During this time, Specialist Days were held for librarians, kindergarten methodologists, teachers and head teachers primary school schools. And today library specialists from municipal and school libraries cities.

One of the main topics of the meeting is the main activities of the municipal libraries of the Republic of Bashkortostan following the results of 2014. The report was prepared according to the analytical collections of the National Library named after A.-Z. Validi.

Library specialists were familiarized with the new National Standard "Library Statistics: Indicators and Calculation Units", which came into force on January 1, 2015. The standard was prepared by specialists from three libraries: the main developer is the Russian State Library, co-executors - the Russian National Library and the Presidential Library. B.N. Yeltsin. Teamwork of representatives of three national libraries made it possible to maximize the use of their scientific potential to create a standard adequate current state library activities.

A separate block at the meeting was a conversation about Internet resources for libraries, about the possibilities and problems of using social networks and about distance learning projects of the Russian State Library for young people.

The attending specialists were interested to learn about new projects, courses, promotions, events that are held in the library system in the Year of Literature and the 70th anniversary of the Victory.

In March, a new virtual project "Memory of the Heart" was launched on the CLS website. The project is unique in that it is being created by the residents of our city themselves, who talk about their loved ones who experienced all the hardships of the war. The main objective of the project is to instill courage and love for the Motherland among younger generation on the example of loved ones.

Librarians were interested in the review of professional journals that were presented at the exhibition "To Help the Librarian".

The professional activity of a librarian requires a broad outlook and erudition, therefore reading for a librarian is both a tool and a means and indicator of the level of professional training. Everything that the librarian reads "for himself", he reads "for others". Willingly or unwittingly, the librarian transfers his personal reading experience to the reader.

At the presented book exhibition "Reading Circle of the Modern Librarian" it was possible to get acquainted with new professional publications, books of winners of various awards. The exhibition featured a large number of literary magazines. Literary and art magazines, not entering into competition with book publishers, go their own way. They enlighten, enrich with new knowledge, give an idea of new works, new names, laureates literary prizes.

Librarians of school libraries in their reports revealed the specifics of the work of the school library and the role of school libraries in the organization of research work of students.

The day of the specialist turned out to be rich, informative and passed in a very warm atmosphere. We hope that such meetings will become traditional.

Ramazanova N. A.
head of the organizational and methodological department

Library life today can not be called boring. The rapidly changing time does not give an opportunity to rest and presents more and more surprises, forcing not just to think, but to innovate in the daily work of the municipal library.
Today the Government has finally turned its face to library problems. This gives us hope for the future. But at the same time, the requirements for libraries have increased many times over. To survive today, we must be not just repositories of documentary funds, we must become mobile information and social centers. We must be in demand by society.

It is no secret that today the aging of personnel is taking place, the level of turnover is high, and, first of all, among the newly arrived young personnel. The current “washout” of professionals from the library industry leads to the fact that the main niche of the library cohort is occupied by teachers, continuity in the main activities of libraries is interrupted.
On the other hand, against the backdrop of a rapidly developing society, the requirements for the competencies of modern librarians are constantly increasing. Today, they must not only know the basics of their profession and library funds, but also master modern information technologies used in library practice.

Today, no one needs to prove that of all resources, the main resource is people. You cannot force or force an employee to use their full potential for the successful prosperity of the organization. The dedication of the staff, the willingness of people to make a maximum contribution to the work of the library are determined by their own desire to work in full intensity, the mood for quality work. Not the last role in this is played by the professional training and retraining of workers. After all, the more fully an employee is able to realize his professional potential in the interests of the organization, the higher his work results, and hence the entire organization.
The administration of our library has always been interested in having highly qualified and competent staff capable of providing high level efficiency of the entire organization.

The main group of library staff are librarians and teachers. Practice shows that teachers quickly adapt to the library, acquire the necessary knowledge and skills, and have the opportunity to build a successful career. This can be explained by the fact that the requirements for professional qualities and personal abilities of a librarian and a teacher largely coincide.
It is not necessary to expect changes in the personnel situation in the near future, which means that in the future the Central State Library will need qualified catalogers, systematizers, and bibliographers.

It is rather difficult to ensure continuity in the absence of replenishment of the library staff with specialized personnel, but a way out can always be found. Therefore, at the forefront of our Library is the task of organizing a system for improving the skills of specialists working in it. Moreover, advanced training means both the expansion and deepening of existing knowledge, and the acquisition and development of new skills and methods of work.
The following requirements apply to the system of measures to improve the qualifications of the Library specialists:
full coverage of all personnel (each employee must improve his professional level after a certain time)
differentiated approach to different categories of personnel (depending on education, length of service, position held)
Continuity of the process (training is ongoing)
Systemacity and sequence of measures to improve the qualifications of personnel (planning of this activity)

In our library there is a certain system for improving the professional level of specialists, adapted to the requirements of the time. This system includes: distance learning in specialized secondary specialized and higher educational institutions; training at regional advanced training courses; business trips; multilevel program "Professional Librarian"; "School of the modern librarian"; project "Improving the computer literacy of the employees of the MBUK "TsGB"; Days of a specialist; competitions; preparation and publication of teaching aids; the use of modern information technologies (presentations, providing information on the library website in the "Professional" section, publishing an information professional newspaper "Biblioprofi").

The high educational level of the Central City Hospital staff allows us to speak about the presence of a highly professional team of specialists in the system. Of the 138 specialists, 108 have higher education, including 29 higher library education, and 14 of the 25 specialists with specialized secondary education have library education. 130 people are trained in the use of ICT. Our librarians are constantly learning.
Only in the last two years (2011-2012) 7 people received higher education: 6 employees graduated from the Chelyabinsk state academy culture and arts, specialty "Information Resource Manager"(including one with honors). Library Director N.P. Yakimova received a second higher education. Natalya Petrovna graduated from the Ural Interdisciplinary Institute on the basis of the Ural Federal University. B.N. Yeltsin.
8 employees - graduated from distance learning in the retraining system at the Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical College No. 1, specialty "Library Science" with the qualification "Librarian".
2 new employees - enrolled in distance learning in the retraining system at the Nizhny Tagil Pedagogical College No. 1, specialty "Library Science".
1 employee - studies at the Nizhny Tagil Social and Pedagogical Academy (Socio-Economic Faculty, specialization - document management and document management support).
Today we have a good opportunity to improve our qualification level without leaving the city. I mean holding advanced training courses at the regional level on our territory. And here I want to say a big thank you to the specialists of our regional libraries, who gave us this opportunity.

March 2011 On the basis of the Central State Library, specialists from the Sverdlovsk Regional Library for the Blind conducted visiting scientific and methodological Seminar "Tifloturne", which was attended by more than 80 people, including 15 of our specialists.
In April 2012, the Central City Library hosted on-site advanced training courses for librarians of municipal libraries "Modern Municipal Library", organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Sverdlovsk Region and SOUNB them. V. G. Belinsky.
The courses were attended by 21 specialists of the MBUK "TsGB" and 8 specialists of the city's libraries (NTB NTGSPA, NTPTT, BIC NTI (branch) URFU, NTB OAO "NPK "Uralvagonzavod").
In addition, 14 specialists took the opportunity to listen to individual lectures that were of interest to them. Librarians have received a good professional and creative charge, which will help them make the work of their libraries more interesting, rich and varied. The course time was 72 hours. At the end of the course, students were awarded license certificates.

October 2012 on the basis of MBUK "TsGB" a two-day Regional school Methodist. Methodological department SOUNB them. V.G. Belinsky managed to form a program that brought together more than 60 specialists from the region. From the staff of the Central City Hospital, 20 specialists took part in the classes of the school.
The main theme of the school was designated as "I'm a Methodist Concept". The topic aroused interest. Everyone was interested to know what a modern methodologist can and what he wants, who is an ideal methodologist, whether the Internet will replace a living methodologist.

Today we have become more mobile. With interest and pleasure we go to various seminars in Yekaterinburg. And not only listen and absorb necessary information, and still study and get well-deserved certificates.
In 2011, three specialists of the Central City Hospital were trained and received certificates:
- in LLC "Legal Support Agency "Garant-oblast", Nizhny Tagil on the topic:" Basic knowledge of the possibilities of using the "Garant Expert" system;
- in the Regional Center of Dialog Plus LLC, Nizhny Tagil on the topic: "Consultant Plus: Technology 3000".
Head Department of Electronic and Legal Information of the Central State Library Safroneva E.V. was trained in courses NCOU on the topic "Occupational health and safety" and received a certificate.
Deputy Director Sheichenko N.A. was trained in seminar organized by Center Consulting LLC (Perm) on the topic: "New in legislation 94-FZ. Draft law "On the federal contract system". Issues of concluding state and municipal contracts, civil law contracts of budgetary institutions".
Deputy Director Sheichenko N.A. took part in webinar on this topic "Personal Data Law".
In February 2012, a group of specialists from the Central City Hospital (25 people) took part in the work seminar "The use of the most important historical events Russia and the Urals for the Patriotic Education of Youth" .
The seminar takes place in the Ural Center of Boris N. Yeltsin in Yekaterinburg. The participants had a tour of the Boris Yeltsin Museum. I must say that this is the fourth trip to the Yeltsin Center. And each time our colleagues brought up to 100 books as a gift from the Center.

Great information potential business trips. Each such trip charges the brains of librarians with new discoveries, makes them rethink what already seemed impossible to change, causes bursts of ideas, and contributes to rethinking their views and positions. In a word, it makes work more interesting and creative. I would like to note that the exchange of experience during business trips allows not only to generate new ideas, but also to make new acquaintances, share our own experience and learn from colleagues. For two recent years specialists of different levels (from the chief librarian to the director of the library) went on business trips to Yekaterinburg, cities of the region (Irbit, Asbest), cities of Russia (Samara, Tomsk) more than 60 times.

We have always believed that cadres should be raised by ourselves. Main principle our library staff : if you want to grow, learn.
Therefore, we have set up a whole range of measures to improve the skills of our specialists, developed taking into account not only the age and educational qualifications, but also taking into account the length of service and individual capabilities of each employee, aimed at solving the current conditions of the library and ahead of them one step ahead.

During the year, activities to improve the qualifications of the Central City Hospital staff are held within the framework of integrated program advanced training "Professional librarian", "Schools of modern librarian", "Improving computer literacy of employees of MBUK "TsGB" .
Classes were held in the form of training seminars, Specialist Days, Information Days, lectures, conversations, methodological consultations, workshops, field round tables. More than 100 employees have the opportunity to participate in training activities within the framework of these training programs.
I will briefly dwell on our training programs.
An important part of the system is multi-level advanced training program "Professional Librarian" developed within the framework of the municipal target program "Development of librarianship in Nizhny Tagil" back in 2001. To date " Program…." has not lost its relevance . This is a flexible and mobile system aimed at improving professional skills, ensuring the renewal of knowledge and skills in accordance with the changing requirements for the work of a modern library.
Target programs "Professional Librarian": creation of a continuous system of staff training, taking into account education, length of service and position held to ensure the efficient operation of the library.
To achieve this goal, the following tasks:
Strategic objectives: bringing the knowledge, skills and abilities of the library staff in line with the requirements of society for a modern public library.
Research tasks: collection of information before, during and after the training of various categories of staff, analysis and generalization of the results obtained - to determine the needs of the library staff in training and development of the structure and content of the curriculum "Professional Librarian".
Evaluation of the effectiveness of the classes, determination of the usefulness of the training program for each of the categories of trained employees, through questionnaires and special testing.

The program consists of 3 levels:
"Aspiring Librarian"" - first level for employees who have worked in the Central City Library system for less than three years and do not have a special library education. This program provides new employees with initial training, the so-called "entry into the profession" of a librarian. The program is designed for 4 days. As part of the first level of the training program, students are offered the following topics: The mission of the library. Social function of the library; Legal field of the library: main normative and local documents. Legal regulation of library services for children; Library service: theoretical and methodological foundations; Organization of library collections in modern conditions; Classification of printed works. Acquaintance with BBK. Classification methodology; Reference and bibliographic apparatus of the library. System of library catalogs and file cabinets. Reference and bibliographic service for readers; Information component of the library. Organization of exhibition space; Mass and individual work with readers; Professional consciousness of librarians. Psychological aspects of communication: librarian-librarian, librarian-reader; Marketing activities of the library. Development and implementation of programs; Modern information technologies in serving readers and in the work of a librarian; Organization of the library space.

We are a happy team, most of the employees are devoted to their library and work long and fruitfully: 29% of the employees work in the system from 3 to 10 years, 56% work in the library for more than 10 years. But the knowledge acquired by employees in educational institutions a few years ago becomes obsolete, which means that there is a need for their significant renewal.

"Librarian-practitioner" - the second level of the program It was developed for employees who have worked in the Central City Hospital system for more than three years. And since there are a majority of such specialists, the training took place in groups of 10-15 people so as not to expose jobs. Valuable staff of trainee librarians improve their professional level during 3 training days.
Target training of experienced librarians is somewhat different, because it is assumed that they are already familiar with the fundamentals of the "library profession": deepening the level of professional competence.
Students of the second level are offered the topics of classes that affect both the theory and practice of library work. For example, I can name some of them: Library in the legal field. State library policy; Fundamentals of communication culture of a librarian. Psychological aspects of library communication; New technologies in the reference, bibliographic and information work of the library. Automation of library processes; A new level of organization of service for library users. Socialization of library activities; Marketing activities of the library; Modern aspects of the library profession.

Management training is of particular importance for any organization, because the work of the leader has a decisive influence on the results of the work of his subordinates. Even the most responsible and conscientious leader who does not have the knowledge and skills that meet modern requirements will serve as a brake on his organization or structural unit. On the hierarchical ladder of the CGB, you can see that in the CGB system there are 5 top managers (director and four deputies) and 36 specialists - middle managers (heads of departments, branches and sectors). Leadership training takes place on third ending the program level, which was named "Modern Leader"
Leadership training is one of the most significant resources in improving library performance today. Those leaders who are most likely to succeed are those who are able to master new methods of work quickly and in a timely manner, and who are not intimidated by the changes taking place in the librarianship.
It turned out to be more difficult to tear off the heads of various structural divisions of the Central City Hospital than the staff. Therefore, after long negotiations, it was decided to conduct a one-two-day training seminars, the task of which is:
· to give managers the knowledge necessary for the successful solution of the tasks they face (basics of library management, economic and legal framework for library management, library staff management, library marketing, etc.).
Train them in the skills and abilities necessary to effective leadership(group work, conflict resolution, decision making, etc.).
The selection of topics for managers in the preparation of the third level of the program is determined by the conditions today: "Role modern leader in the library management system”; "Restructuring the library network"; " Innovation activity in library"; "Personnel motivation"; "Socio-psychological foundations of library management"; «Modern information and library technologies »; “Management of the head or marketing policy of the management of the library; "Legal regulation of library services for children"; "Fundraising Fundamentals for the Library"; "Local regulations municipal library"; “Time limits for basic library processes.

Leadership training provides an opportunity to take a closer look at one's experience and develop a system of priorities that meets modern requirements for the head of a library unit. As part of the classes, we tried to minimize the use of lecture forms of presentation educational material and use active learning methods as widely as possible.
In addition to classes on professional topics, students of all three levels were offered topics to broaden their horizons: reviews of the professional press, teaching aids, art magazines, and new literature. Due to the presence of a library of a professional psychologist with each group psychological trainings for regulation conflict situations, both with readers and within the team.
As part of the programs, students are offered lectures, master classes, testing, role-playing and business games, practical classes, creative laboratories, briefings, and round tables.

Librarians of the MBUK "CGB" take a course of classes within each level once every 3 years, which meets the requirements of the "Model Standard for Public Library Activities", adopted at the XIII RLA. Program "Professional Librarian" has a big resonance in the city. Many specialists
Libraries from other departments want to take part in classes at different levels of the program. We do not refuse anyone, because we understand that the further development of librarianship depends on each librarian, regardless of which department his library belongs to.
A set of teaching aids for a multi-level program "Professional Librarian", ranked in the top ten III All-Russian competition for municipal libraries "Modern trends in servicing readers" and was awarded a cash prize.

Today, the role of the library in today's society is rapidly changing. This is due not only to the global changes that are taking place in our society, but also to the rapid introduction of information technologies into all spheres of life. Today, in order to survive, you need to be active, mobile, necessary and not be afraid of anything. Therefore, in order to constantly support library work in good shape, we have "School of the modern librarian".
Purpose of the School:
always keep up with the times.
Task, which she sets for herself is to constantly stimulate library processes through a quick response to all innovations in librarianship.

Initially, it was planned that the classes of this school would be attended by employees of structural divisions of the Central City Hospital. But the earth is full of rumors. Once about our "School" employees of other libraries of the city found out, they also began to come to our classes. Sometimes there are up to 100 people in class. For many, this is the only opportunity to get a full-fledged consultation on the topical issue of modern library activities.
As part of the work "Schools of the modern librarian" a wide variety of forms of communication are used: seminars, round tables, creative laboratories, master classes, professional consultations, marketing forms: analysis and research of professional activities. The main thing in the preparation and holding of these events is the relevance of the topic, the opportunity to exchange experiences, and get answers to questions.
An important point classes within the "School" is a selective moment in the selection of students. As a rule, the "School" invites exactly the group of librarians for whom this or that topic is most relevant. Among the most interesting activities the following can be noted:
"The role of the library in shaping the circle children's reading" - workshop;
The topic did not arise by chance. Combining the two systems made me once again focus on children's reading, share their work experience, and find common ground. At the seminar, they talked about the experience of working on the formation of a circle of children's reading; library work with families; forms of work on the formation of a circle of children's reading; the possibilities of using modern technologies in the guidance of children's reading; children's websites and the possibilities of the CGB website.
"Organization of library services for readers from 0 to 14 years old" - seminar - workshop. The following issues were considered within the framework of the seminar: "Legal regulation of library services for children: a review of the main legal and regulatory documents"; "Age features of readers - children, typology of readers"; "Organization of library space for readers from 0 to 14 years old"; "Individual work with readers in the library. Study of readers"; "Individual work: forms and methods"; "Peculiarities of mass work with children";
A business game was played for the participants of the seminar "Librarian and reader: dialogue on equal terms". The audience was interested in the presentation of the program literary development readers 7-9 years old "Together with the book we grow".
"Tagil on a platter" -
seminar dedicated to the 290th anniversary of Nizhny Tagil. Specialists from city libraries were also invited to the seminar. Within the framework of the seminar:
- advice was given on local history work in libraries;
- the experience of local history work of the subscription of the Central City Library is presented;
- forms of work with children on local history are presented;
- sounded interesting story about Tagil local historians S.V. Ganzhe and N.A. Mezenin;
- virtual local history resources are presented;
- a review of the publishing products of the specialists of the MBUK "TsGB" about Nizhny Tagil was made.
As a result of the seminar, a methodological manual was issued "Tagil on a platter" and a CD with presentations of the seminar events.

"What is written with a pen ..." - training seminar on publishing. The listeners were introduced to local legal documents aimed at organizing publishing activities and the work of the editorial and publishing commission; spoke about the requirements for the preparation and release of printed publications; taught how to make bibliographic lists for print media; told about the rules for describing sites used in the preparation of a particular publication. The lesson was attended 35 Human.
I would especially like to dwell on the classes of the "School", aimed at organizing the work of the heads of structural divisions . The purpose of these classes is to quickly set up and teach managers the organizational processes for restructuring the library's activities in accordance with the requirements of the time. As a rule, the topics covered in the classes "To the manager's notebook", "Topic of the day", "To the topic" , do not tolerate delay.
As part of the classes for managers, the following topics were considered: Execution of the Federal Law "About personal data" in the process of serving readers in the library; Mass event passports; Write-off acts; Rules for electronic registration of visits to the public access site in the library; Work within summer program "Key to Summer"; Analysis of branch visits by a group of specialists; Advice on maintaining forms, etc.
Such events give a good positive effect, because. advice is given on topical issues, unified decisions are made, guidelines to correct errors and introduce innovations in the work of all structural divisions.

As part of the "School of the modern librarian" were held:
- creative laboratory « New Millennium: Library and Reading of Adolescents and Youth”;
- Master Class "Traditions and innovations in propaganda of periodicals";
- Master Class « Library as an independent entity»;
- seminar "The Library as a Source of Preservation historical memory Russians";
- creative laboratory "Mercy on the Bookshelf" in bibliotherapy;
- round table "Portrait frame: the role of the librarian's personality in enhancing the image of the library»
- labor educational program "Changes in labor code, holidays, sick leave, wage»;
Almost all topics were developed and published teaching aids.
As part of "Schools of the modern librarian" up to 10 classes per year. They are like an ambulance to help solve sharp questions and respond quickly to innovations in library practice.

One of the forms of stimulating the improvement of the qualification level is intrasystem professional competitions. The competitive moment of these competitions makes our colleagues make some efforts, show initiative, reveal their talent, and most importantly, study the experience of colleagues and apply it with innovative innovations in practice.
Each topic of the next competition provides an opportunity to establish, improve work in some direction of library activities or sum up the achievements. Here are a few themes of our professional competitions: the best formulation of reference and bibliographic work”, “Regional component in the work of a modern library”, “Reading and the reader in a modern library”,« Modern library: style and image”, “For the best organization of library and bibliographic studies”, “Salute, Victory!”: to the anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, “Tagil, you are dear to us and dear…” - to the 290th anniversary of Nizhny Tagil; "Star Relay" dedicated to the Year of Russian Cosmonautics. In 2013 we have a competition "Hello, reader!", aimed at improving the organization of services for children.

In order to provide methodological assistance to librarians in organizing the work of the library and improve the quality of service for readers, the staff of the department develop and publish teaching aids. The topics and volume of them are diverse: from digest to a solid collection. The pages of methodological collections provide not only recommendations and advice, lists of methodological literature, but also reveal the best experience of colleagues. Methodical collections are issued following the results of conferences, master classes, round tables. They reflect the best competitive works, scripts, and provide the basis for library activities. To date, there are more than 100 publications that help in organizing the work of not only our library staff, but also city librarians. In particular demand are: "Calendar significant dates"(ready annually in August); "Manager's Notebook"; " book exhibition in search of a new image"; "Exhibition in the interior of a modern library"; "Mass work"; "On the steep turns of bibliography"; "Mercy on the bookshelf: bibliotherapy"; "New millennium: the library and reading of youth"; "Social space is important component of library activities"; "Hello reader!: organization of library services for readers from 0 to 14 years old" (materials of the workshop; "Star Relay Race": a collection of methodological materials following the results professional competition, for the best mass event dedicated to the Year of Russian Cosmonautics; "Like a book's name day": a collection of methodological materials; "Good and Evil": youth extremism; - Energy drinks: pros and cons"; "Time norms for preparing and holding mass events at the MBUK "TsGB""; "Summer flew by with a book": from the experience of libraries in the framework of the summer vacation program "Key to Summer"; : collection methodological materials based on the results of a professional competition dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War; "Tagil on a silver platter": materials of a local history seminar (+ an electronic disk with presentations); "Interactive forms of work"; "The science of living together: let's talk about tolerance "; " Library + family: a step into the future of Russia" (materials of the conference); "War of 1812", etc.

I have already said that most of our specialists have the basics of computer knowledge. But time requires changes and our specialists strive to master new programs in order to put them to good use in practice. To do this, specialists of the department of automated technologies conduct classes within the framework of training program "Improving the computer literacy of employees of MBUK" TsGB ". Our colleagues easily mastered Microsoft Office Publisher, Microsoft Office Power Point, Microsoft Office Excel and many others.
OAT employees held an interesting training seminar "The Internet as a tool in the work of a librarian", information day "Internet in professional information activities librarian" . Up to 40 people gather at the lessons at the same time.
Specialists the department of electronic and legal information of the Central State Library conducted 18 training sessions(including field trips for branches of the Central City Hospital) on the topic "Organization and functioning of Public Access Centers". In total, classes were held for 74 CGB employees.
May 2012 3 specialists from the Central City Hospital courses in the program "Workstation catalogizer" of the IRBIS system and the RUSMARC format in machine-readable cataloging" in SOBDIYu and received certificates.
October 2012 on the basis of the Central State Library, employees of the State Public Scientific and Technical Library of the SB RAS conducted refresher courses "Technologies IRBIS-64" . 10 our employees received certificates as a result of training. Our colleagues want to keep up with the times and use information technologies in their work, so they are happy to learn how to master modern programs and technologies.

Modern information technologies are actively introduced into the work of the library. Today, each structural unit of MBUK "TsGB" has access to the site, e-mail. This allows methodologists to provide methodological assistance quickly and at a distance, which contributes not only to improving the professional level of our employees, but also to the rapid introduction of new areas of library activity into the work. Today, at seminars, master classes, conferences, when conducting methodological consultations, for clarity, we use various presentations. On site libraries in section "Professionals" we provide information for our specialists and librarians of the city in various areas of library activity. Our section of the site is the most visited, only for year 2012 visits amounted to 85,195 times.

I would especially like to talk about information bulletin "Biblioprofi" . Back in 2006, we started publishing a monthly information publication called Bibliopulse. This publication reflected the life of the library, provided information about the best events, novelties in methodological literature, reflected interesting news culture and life of libraries. With the advent of the site, it has turned into an interesting publication. "Biblioprofi", which is now published quarterly.
The bulletin is in demand among the employees of the Central State Library, librarians of Nizhny Tagil, Gornozavodsky district and cities of Russia. He gives recommendations, talks about the winners of competitions, gives full-text materials and scripts for the race, methodological recommendations, accompanying these materials with photographs. A well-stocked fund of methodological literature (more than 3,000 copies) helps us in this. It is like a sip of water, without which it is impossible to move forward. And we pay great attention to this. We subscribe to almost all professional periodicals (20 journals) and methodological manuals aimed at organizing the activities of a modern library, we bring manuals from business trips published by our colleagues from other cities and regional library, we generously share our developments with the guests of our library. We maintain a Methodist Card Index and a Scenario Card Index (18 boxes), an electronic database of a methodologist (more than 4,000 records).

We have a restless, inquisitive, searching, keeping up with the times and even one step ahead team. For ourselves, we have developed our own style of work: “A good librarian must be constantly learning, interactive, inquisitive, slightly hungry for information. Only a constantly seeking librarian can become a leader.”
“Live for a century, learn for a century!”, - one wise man once said, and he was absolutely right!

The Specialist's Day was held as part of the Literature Lessons: School-Library Interaction project for teachers of schools No. 183 and No. 41.

The event began with an introduction to book fund libraries. Particular attention was paid to literature and methodical literature. Of great interest was the exhibition-view "Classics: a new look", illustrating modern trends Russian literature.

The review of modern Russian literature, prepared by librarians at the request of teachers, was the main component of the meeting.

It's no secret that literary process in Russia in recent decades is difficult to generalize. The limitless number of subcultures gives rise to no less number of styles and artistic directions. The trouble with modern literature is the arrival of dilettantes and literary anonyms in literature. Literature at the present stage is adapting to a new rhythm of life, to a new reader's perception of reality: the book is becoming more and more a commodity and less and less a source of transformation.

However, in spite of everything, the names of interesting, promising, thinking authors still appear on the literary horizon. Among them are Dmitry Bykov, Elena Shubina, Pavel Sanaev, Evgeny Grishkovets, Mikhail Shishkin, Alexander Arkhangelsky, Pavel Basinsky, Leonid Yuzefovich, Sergey Shargunov, Maya Kucherskaya.

A prominent representative of modern Russian literature is the writer Alexei Ivanov, laureate of the D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak (Heart of Parma), P.P. , or Down the river gorge").

"Poetry of prose" - so you can call art style Alexander Ilichevsky. In thirteen years, he released six great thoughtful novels, including The Persian, Matisse, The Mathematician, as well as several collections of poems and short stories.

Marina Stepnova's novels "Surgeon", "Women of Lazarus", "Godless Lane" are interesting.

The literary discovery of the last few years is Narine Abgaryan. Her autobiographical story Manyunya first appeared on a personal page in LiveJournal. With this book, she became a laureate of the Russian national literary award "Manuscript of the Year" in the "Language" nomination. In August 2015, Narine Abgaryan was named one of the two laureates (along with Irina Kraeva) of the Alexander Grin Russian Literary Prize.

The heroes of the works of Zakhar Prilepin are strong, courageous guys. The conditions for the survival of the young generation in a world deeply alien to them - main topic his novels Pathologies, Sankya, Black Monkey, Abode, Eight.

One of the leaders of the young generation of writers is Roman Senchin. His books "Minus", "Nubuk", "Yoltyshevs", "Flooding Zone" enjoy the constant attention of the reading public.

In 2005, at the Paris Book Fair, Andrey Gelasimov was recognized as the most popular Russian writer in France, beating Lyudmila Ulitskaya and Boris Akunin. Gelasimov is a terrific storyteller: it was not for nothing that his novels “Thirst” and “Fox Mulder Looks Like a Pig” were on the short list of the Ivan Petrovich Belkin Prize. What distinguishes his prose is, first of all, the real and good relations to reality. Published in the spring of 2015, Andrey Gelasimov's new novel "Cold" is included in the long lists of the literary awards "Big Book", " Yasnaya Polyana”, “Russian Booker”.

The lecturers discussed excerpts from the interviews of Oleg Roy, Maya Kucherskaya, Irina Shukhaeva, Pavel Basinsky.

The results of a study conducted by librarians on the reading preferences of high school students in the district turned out to be unexpectedly pleasant for teachers. Among the most read books, the lion's share is made up of works by classics of Russian and foreign literature.

Great interest at the Specialist's Day was aroused by the presentation of information resources to help the professional activities of teachers posted on the library's website. Teachers were offered an overview of the highest quality educational web portals that can be used in their work and recommended to their students, as well as electronic library products: Career Guidance, Law and Me, Methodical Piggy Bank, Kirovites during the Great Patriotic War , "Victory-70", "Calendar of significant and anniversaries"and others.

In addition, students learned how to search in electronic catalog, learned more about the virtual services "Ask the Librarian" and "Electronic Document Delivery". Several teachers have become subscribers of IDI (selective dissemination of information) and will be able to receive the necessary pedagogical activity articles to your email address.

The Specialist's Day passed in an interested, friendly atmosphere. We think that the cooperation between the library and teachers will continue, and the materials presented will be useful for teachers in their work.
